Ch 1 - Best Way To Start The Day
I groaned as I felt light on my eyelids, pouring in through the blinds to irritate me greatly. I let out a sigh as I pawed at my nose, trying to push the light away. Getting up was the last thing I wanted to do at the moment, as I didn't really have anything to do today, and neither did my brother, Dream. I couldn't help but grin as I felt Dream's wings draped over me, and felt his soft chest against my back. However, just as I was about to drift off to sleep again, content to lay there until I was physically forced to move, I heard the doorbell ring, the sound echoing around the house. When it didn't ring again, I tried to convince myself I'd just imagined it, despite knowing I hadn't. I nearly succeeded too, until it rang again. "Ugh… fine. I'm coming." I groaned, prying myself away from Dream's soft embrace as the doorbell kept ringing.
Whoever was at our door was pretty insistent they got our attention. "Shut it! I coming!" I shouted as the bell kept ringing faster and faster, until I swore it would break. As I was approaching the door, the bell really starting to grate on my nerves, and my ears. I threw it open with my magic, startling the pony behind the door. "Oh, uh. G-good morning, uh, m-miss. I’m sorry, I didn't mean to irritate, or annoy you,-" The brown mailpony stammered, shaking under my angry glare. "-b-but t-this message is rather urgent. O-or, well not u-urgent, just important." He finished quickly, holding out two letters in his shaking hoof. I sighed, rolling my eyes as I levitated them so that I could read them.
"Hm, yes, yes. Thank you. Now begone before I change my mind." I muttered, turning away and shutting the door. I couldn't help but giggle as I heard the poor stallion stumble down the stair, running away in relief. I was not a happy pony when woken, but he was just doing his job, so I couldn't really get mad at him. Well, I could, I just didn't want to waste any extra energy doing so.
The first of the two letters was addressed to me, and the other to Dream, which I found odd, as we never normally received letters. The only letters we normally received were the ones that mom and dad sent, which were mostly money, despite our insistence against it. Mostly we just kept to ourselves, and we were happy that way. You would expect that most siblings would grow bored of each other within a week, two at the most. But not us. We got along just fine, if mostly because of our 'special' relationship.
I couldn’t help but shiver slightly as my thoughts wandered back to when Dream and I first discovered out feelings for each other. The forms included with this letter are required to be filled out and returned by October 18th.

I pulled a quill, ink and an empty letter from the table, and began to write a letter to our parents. Dragon Moon University was the main reason Dream and I had come to Fillydelphia.
