The first sensation that came back to me was sound

Beep Beep Beep Beep

The steady beep of a heart monitor flooded my ears.

‘A heart monitor? Odd I don't remember going to the hospital’

I decided it was time to open my eyes...and immediately I regreted it.

“HOLY SHIT MY EYES!”

The lights nearly blinded me the second I opened my eyes.

“Who the hell decided it was a good idea to make them so bright.”

Clop Clop Clop Clop

After my littel outburst I heard footsteaps...no not footsteaps, hoofsteaps, but why would there be a horse in a hospital?

A few seconds later the door opened, and what I saw nearly put me into cardiac arrest.

There in the doorway stood what I assumed was a mare, she was stareing back at me with the same surprised look I had.

She had a white coat with a pink mane and tail, she had cyan eyes ( that or very light blue ), and a red cross on her flank.

It took a minute for the gears to turn in my head, but when they did i knew where I was and who this mare infront of me was.

I was the first to speak.

“Wha...how...why...whe...“ she cut me off.

“Take it easy, you've been out for awhile” she said in a reassuring toan.

I took a deep breath and tried again.

“Sorry about that, it's just this all happened so suddenly and...” I stoped mid sentence.

"It's all right, I've had to deal with much worse than this”

“I'm sure you have, hey at least your not a paramedic” I doubt she knew what that was, but it was the only response I could muster.

“Yea, those first responders have it much worse than us hear at Ponyville General Hospital”

Now that response surprised me.

“Wait, you know what a paramedic and first responder is?”

“Yes? Why wouldent I?”

“N...nevermind forget I said anything”

“Okay?”

During my time on earth as a 15 year old boy, I was a brony, had been since I turned 14, so I knew Equestria was never that advanced when it came to technology, at least, not during the show, but if this was a different universe, than maby.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when she spoke again.

"Hey, mind if I pull up a chair?”

“Not at all, go right ahead” I answered cheerfully.

She pulled up a chair and sat down (still don't know how ponies do that comfortably).

She was the first to speak. “So do you remember anything? From before I mean” she asked.

“Not much I'm afraid” I lied, I could'nt tell anyon...no anypony yet.

“What about your name? You have to have a name. How about I tell you mine first, I'm Redheart”

I already know your name, “Hisao, Hisao Shinozaki, It's nice to meet you”

“Well Hisao it's nice to meet you too” we shook hands/hooves.

Redheart glanced at the clock and a grin spread across her face.

“What is it?” I asked.

"It's almost time for the one who found you to visit”

"The one found me?”

“Yes, the one and only, Twilight Sparkle”
