Two full years had passed since Tornado and Rainbow Dash had started dating, and now the couple were engaged. Scootaloo was cleaning up her room and digging threw her closet to find any thing that might bring back some kind of memory. As she was digging, she came across an old shoe box and opened it up excitedly. Inside the small shoe box was an old teddy bear that Scootaloo recognized imeadintaly.

Four year old Scootaloo hugged the small brown rag of a teddy bear to her chest lovingly. Why hadn’t she come up to this attic sooner? She sat the small bear back onto the group and continued to search for memories of the mother she never knew.

Tornado peaked into the attic room and smiled at his daughter, “Find anything you’d like to keep?”

Scootaloo shook her head as she shut the box. Tornado sat down beside her. She looked at him with large sad eyes, “Do you think mom would have been happy with me if she were still alive?”

“I don’t think so.” He hugged the small orange pegasus with his wing, “I know so.”

Scootaloo smiled and hugged him. Tornado looked down at the teddy bear that had been left out of the box. He picked it up, “This was a prize I won at the fair for your mom when I first met her.”

“It is?” Scootaloo asked, looking at the torn bear.

“Yeah, I went to one of the target games and won this.” He laughed, “I walked right up to her with my little wing-bear and asked her to go out with me.”

Scootaloo laughed, “Can we keep him out of the box?”

“Sure, would you like him?” Tornado sat the bear next to Scootaloo. She nodded and hugged the bear once more.

“Does he have a name?” She asked, looking at her dad sweetly.

“I don’t think your mom and I got around to that.” Tornado shrugged.

“We can call him Scooter, because it has a lot in common with my name.” Scootaloo joked.

Tornado smiled and hugged her once more, this time the teddy bear was also in the hug. Scootaloo stroked the teddy bear with her hoof. Tornado kissed her forehead.

Scootaloo picked Scooter up out of the box and hugged him tightly to her chest, like she had done so many years ago, she sighed contentaly. She had put the small and very torn up bear in this box when she was eight, because she had dubbed herself to old for stuffed toys. She stood up and flew towards her bed, the bear clutched gently to her chest as she did so. She sat the bear on one of her pillows and pet his little brown head, the bear stared back with unblinking black marble eyes.

Scootaloo flew down stairs as soon as she heard a knock at the front door, Rainbow Dash beat her to it. Inside stepped Tornado, he was home very early. He smiled and then shut the door, "Guess what I did today..." He said with a large grin.

"I give up." Scootaloo replied and looked at Rainbow Dash who shrugged.

"I quit my out of town jobs..." Tornado said, "I'm going to be helping out the construction crew here in town."

"That means you'll be around a lot more!" Rainbow Dash smiled.

"Do you think we should celebrate?" Scootaloo asked.

"Sure, where do you think we should go?" Tornado replied to his daughter with a smile.

"Sugar Cube Corners." Scootaloo replied, her eyes lite up with excitement.

"That sounds like fun." Rainbow Dash nodded in agreement

"Well I don't know. I was thinking that we could rent a movie and maybe get some popcorn." Tornado replied. He was somewhat tired because he'd just quit two good paying jobs. Both mare's stared at him sadly, he soon knew he was out numbered, "Ok...Fine, we'll go." He groaned.

"Yay!" Scootaloo jumped up and down, and Rainbow Dash smiled.

"Well I guess we should get ready." Rainbow Dash said as she walked to the guest room, which was her room for now. Soon the trio piled out the door and walked to the sweet shoppe, together. Their lives were perfect and full of love.

A beautiful Angel with a magenta coat watched from heaven, she was Scootaloo's guardian Angel. She stood outside the gates of heaven and a single tear of joy escaped her, she smiled. Suddenly another Angel opened the gates, causing her to jolt. "Belle Vie please come back inside." The other Angel called with a kind smile.

"Sure I guess." Belle Vie stood up and looked at the floor, "But, can I stay out here a little longer? I want to watch my daughter's happy smile." She looked up slowly and smiled.

"You really love her don't you?" Her friend grinned as she leaned on the gate.

"Yes..." Belle trailed off.

"Well I don't see why not, but come back inside soon." The other Angel walked back inside and gently shut the gates.

Belle Vie laughed happily as she began to listen to her daughter's voice, Scootaloo was talking to Tornado and Rainbow Dash about school and friends. She could listen inside heaven but it always seemed more fun outside the gates, she felt she could hear better. She loved hearing her daughter's beautiful voice.

Belle Vie turned towards the gate and smiled, "I love you both so much." She said to her daughter and husband, though they couldn't hear her. She sighed with joy as she walked through the gates of heaven. The beauty of the place brange her at ease and she felt a pure happiness that would never end.
