Scootaloo rubbed her eyes, and groaned. She brushed her hoof across the soft cloud like floor, here eyes shot open. She bolted up and looked around.

She was surrounded by a beautiful forest, trees stretched up to the sky and lead to unknown places. The sky was dark but light still surrounded the small clearing she was in. Stars illuminated the sky with breathtaking beauty.

A cool breeze whispered a wordless lulabuy to her. A peaceful smell brushed agents her nose. She sighed, suddenly a blinding light appeared out of the forest.

It seemed to be floating a little bit above the ground, a pony stepped out of the light as Scootaloo backed up. This pony was to bright to look at, but her face was beautiful. She smiled at Scootaloo kindly.

"Where am I...and who are you?" Scootaloo asked.

"This is heaven, and I'm an angel." She replied, her voice was just as beautiful as the sounds in the wind.

"I-I'm dead?" Scootaloo's eyes widened with fear.

"Not entirely, you will return to earth soon." Came the reply.

Scootaloo sighed, "how did I almost die?"

"You were attacked by a manticore in the Everfree forest."

Scootaloo cringed, she remembered it clearly now. She was riding threw the forest trying to forget everypony, she wanted to die. The monster had come up and growled at her, she didn't move and it attacked her. The last she could remember was seeing her dad and Rainbow Dash fly in and fight the manticore.

"Did you want to die Scootaloo?" The angel asked.

"Yes..." She looked at the ground

"Why?" It was a simple question, why didn't it have a simple awnser? The angel waited patiently for a reply.

"I-I don't think I have a good enough awnser."

"Yes you do." The angel smiled sweetly, her voice was filed with love and joy.

"I've been worried about not having a mom..." Scootaloo's voice drifted.

"I understand." The angel nodded, "When I came here I was worried about my family having to live without me."

"Really?" She sat up straighter.

"Yes, you see, I had a baby to take care of, I was worried about her, how she would need me." The angel smiled sadly, "but I watched her grow up into a beautiful and kind pony."

"How did you die?" Scootaloo asked.

"I got very sick one day..." was the angel's reply.

"My mom died of cancer..." Scootaloo looked down sadly, "did she want to say hi to me?"

"Yes she did." The angel nodded, "but your not ready to go into heaven yet."

"Then why are you here with me?" Scootaloo looked up and asked.

"I'm your guardian angel." She smiled, suddenly the world burst into a bright light and Scootaloo slammed her eyes shut. She opened them and the light slowly grew dim. She heard a strange and steady beeping sound.

Once her eyes had finally adjusted to the light she noticed she was in a white room. She was laying in a bed, it took her a while to figure out she was in the hospital. A nurse walked into the room, once she saw Scootaloo she smiled.

"Good to see your finally awake." She walked over to a table and poured a glass of water, once it was full she handed it over to Scootaloo, who drank it weakly.

"How did I get here?" She asked.

"Tornado and Rainbow Dash brought you in, they said you were attacked by a manticore in the everfree forest!" The nurse seemed worried.

"Are they still here?" Scootaloo asked.

"They've been here almost five hours waiting for you to wake up, I'll get them." She walked away with a smile.

Soon Rainbow Dash raced into the room, and Tornado walked inside. Scootaloo smiled weakly at them. Rainbow's face seemed angry.

"Don't you ever do that again Scootaloo! You had me and Tornado worried sick!" Rainbow Dash yelled.

"I-I'm sorry..." Scootaloo looked at the bed sheets as her vision began to blur from tears.

"Sorry doesn't really help Scootaloo..." Tornado went to her bedside and gently pet her.

"I just wish it would." She looked at him.

Rainbow Dash just stood there at the foot of the bed, "we really were worried about you Scootaloo."

"Cause it was both your fault." Scootaloo replied.

"Our fault?" Tornado asked.

"Yes..." She pointed at him, "you can't seem to care to let mom go..." then she pointed to Rainbow Dash, "and you don't want to help."

Rainbow Dash snapped, she flew into the air, "do not! And repeat, do NOT force two ponies to fall in love! That's not how life works."

Scootaloo flinched, fear grew in her expression. Rainbow Dash's burst of anger didn't last long, she landed slowly back to the floor. The cyan mare looked down, "sorry."

"I'm sorry to." Tornado, who hadn't done anything really looked down also.

"Me to..." Scootaloo closed her eyes and tears flooded out.

"But please don't try and make ponies fall in love Scootaloo." Rainbow Dash smiled motherly

"Yeah, it's just...we don't really like each other...." Tornado said.

"You don't?" Scootaloo asked in shock, "you knew each other as kids?"

Tornado nodded and looked at Rainbow Dash.

"Yeah..." Rainbow Dash nodded and began to tell a story.
