Mal and Chris.

"I'm tellin' ya dude, this datin' site is the bees sting! You can find, like, any gal ya want bro!" My friend was explaining to me about th is dating site.  I hadn't been on a date at all so he figured I should use the site to find a girlfriend, after about two weeks of being on the site, I finally got a response from a girl named Chris, from the picture I figured she was a goth.

She had pale white skin, pale greenish blue hair, black lipstick, greenish blue eye shadow, black nail polish, and she was wearing a green tank top with grey sweat pants, her facial expression didn't seem to match though, she was smiling, I could have sworn from looking at her picture that she had fang teeth.

After chatting with her, it turned out she was in my town and we agreed to meet at a restaurant, before I left my friend, Bob stopped me.

"Hey bro, Ya headin' ta meet this Chris gal? Nevah mind I'm gonna go ta the bar an' get something to drink." He left before I could even say "Hi.".

When I got to the restaurant, I sat down at one of the tables and waited for Chris to show up. About thirty minutes passed before I started looking around. "Where could she be? I told her where this place was now where-" I was cut off by a female voice.

"Hello, are you Mal?" The voice said. "Um yes, you must be Chris." I responded, before I could get a look at who the voice was, she sat down right next to me.

"What would you like to eat, Chris?" I asked, the waiter was ready to take our order. "Oh, I'll take the salad with ranch dressing, some Dr. Pepper for my drink, and a side of hash browns." She said.

"I will have a Ice-cream sundae with one scoop chocolate, one scoop vanilla, crushed peanuts, chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and NO cherries, a try of fries covered with cheese and crunched bacon, and I want a cola for my drink, and cheese covered hash browns on the side." After I ordered the waiter left to get the drinks and my ice-cream sundae.

"Wow Mal, you sure did order a lot of food." Chris said. I just smiled and said "Hey I'm paying for it and yours, so don't worry about it, okay?" She smiled back and kissed my cheek, I was surprised but I didn't say anything. "Here is the Dr. Pepper for the lady, and a Ice-cream sundae and a Cola for the Gentleman." The waiter said as he gave us our drinks.

I devoured my Ice-cream sundae and let Chris have what was left. "So Chris, what do you do normally?" I asked in a attempt to open a conversation.

"Oh, not much, just wander around, or when I'm not doing that, I'm exercising, that's why my picture on that Dating site has me in a tank top and sweat pants." She said.

When the waiter came back he gave us our orders, and we ate and then continued our conversation. "Well I don't do much Chris, in fact, you're the first girl I ever actually went on a date with." I  kind of tucked my head down because of what I just said.

"Oh, well I've never been on a date before either, so we both seem to have something in common." She said.

When I got up to go pay for our food, she grabbed my arm and motioned for me to stay put. "I will pay for our food." She said as she reached into her purse to get her wallet out, after she payed, we left, since she was parked next to my car I decided to walk her to her car.

"Thanks for the great date, hopefully we can go further on our next date." She said, she stood up and kissed me on the lips then got in her car and said "Good-bye!".

As I got in my car I thought about how she had kissed me twice on the first date, then I drove home to go to sleep when a thought occurred to me, she mentioned  something about another date. "Man, I better check with her sometime to see when and where she wants to go on our second date." I said as I laid down to go to sleep.

That day would be the start of something amazing and life changing.

As I slept, I kept dreaming about her, and then another thought occurred to me, her hair color, I knew I had seen that same hair color before, but I couldn't remember where nor when. Then it hit me.

"Queen Chrysalis! That was the same hair color Queen Chrysalis had in her appearances on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! A coincidence?"  I said.

I couldn't get to sleep until three O, Clock A.M. I couldn't get Chris off my mind until the next morning.

"Lets see, some lucky charms should help me wake up to start the day."

I said as I made my breakfast, after finishing my cereal and cleaning the dishes, I went over to my computer, I had got a message from Chris asking me when and where I wanted to meet her.

I said I wanted to meet her at the park on Tuesday, since it was Saturday it would give us plenty of time to prepare. My friend Bob came over talking to me about something on the news.

"An' then the News Guy said dat there is some kinda..." He kept going on and on about the news, all I heard was "Blah blah blah.".

For the next two days I was kinda nervous, I couldn't sleep hardly at all, occasionally I'd wake up sweating badly, or I'd wake up trying to eat all the food I had, I kept hoping I would stop and get a chance to sleep.

Monday is when things got crazy, Bob came in frantically waving his arms around and screaming to where it was hard to understand him.

"Ya won't believe wat jus' happened! Dat gal ya datin' was at Walmart! It was weird, I didn't talk ta her but I saw her in the clothes section."

I couldn't believe that was what it was all about! I mean really, it was Seven in the morning and he woke me up just to tell me he saw Chris at Walmart.
