Homecoming

We all want to believe that everypony gets to live a happy life, but unfortunately,

that's not the world we actually live in. Tagalong's story begins on a normal day like any other, his mother, Pam, rests in a maternity ward after giving birth to two foals, Tagalong and Scootaloo, after six hours of labor.

However, she's not as excited as you'd think she'd be. Pam and her husband Aldous still have to deal their family's financial troubles. Pam was a confectionist and had to sell her bakery because of declining sales and rising rent prices. Aldous, who was an earth pony, was having difficulties holding down a job and was barely able to make ends meet to support the two of them, and now with two new foals, Manehattan would be a much more difficult and much less hospitable city to raise two newborns in.
