A Closer Look at Humans
The human territory
Load Full StorySo you've decided to embark on this expedition with me into the nature of these human beings then have you? Well, you may think it's going to be a fun day out or a freedom loving adventure, but you may want to keep in mind that these creatures are omnivores. So we better take cover from these creatures most of the time. They are intelligent hunters after all.
So the first thing we can see about the human territory is that humans generally live directly next to a large body of water. Here, it's a full on lake. The humans tend to use the water for washing themselves, others, drinking, washing special cloths of fabric called 'Clothes' and using it to also play and swim in. The most incredible thing about these creatures, is they can adapt to any environment, so you can find these beings right the way across Equestria. They can swim, they can survive both cold and hot climates, they can walk, run and even craft things. Let's see how that's done now.
Whoa! Crikey mate! Watch your step. Humans have very sensitive hearing. They can hear a twig snap from metres away. Especially in a peaceful environment like this. We're better off hiding behind this bush so we can really see the action taking place in their group. Oh by the way, a group of humans is called a tribe. Here's my binoculars, let's take a look!
As we can see, the humans are very strong creatures. But here's what makes them truly remarkable. Look at the way their hooves are shaped. They have special things called 'Fingers' which allow them to create and craft things for themselves. Look right there, that female is using her fingers right now to weave what's known as a garment. This is what the humans put over their bodies to protect themselves from the cold and other dangerous things outside. I know what you're thinking, Wildo, how do the humans keep themselves warm? Well to answer that my fine, curious friend, we're gonna have to stay here overnight. But for now, take a look at the humans surroundings.
Also using their fingers, they're able to craft these huts simply known as 'Tents.' They spread these out over their territory, but they tend to have one tent per human. Oh! Oh and look! Here comes the alpha male with his prize. A deer. Humans are nimble hunters, especially when they work together. Using the 'Spears' that they craft themselves, they're able to seize and slaughter any other animal that may pose a threat or that may come as valuable food. That's why we have to hide over here matey. These monsters can span up to 7 feet tall. If you get in the way of one of them, you'd need to watch out, cos they're pretty heavy too.
Looks like it's getting dark soon. This will give us a chance to see the territory close up. As long as we don't make a noise.
