When she failed to take over Canterlot for her people the food situation began to become dire and with no other massive prospects of sources of love the number of Changelings quickly began to decline and now she stood alone, hungry and wasting away. I can’t believe it’s gone.... all gone She thought to herself as another set of cramps from hunger caused her to double over, soon subsiding enough to where she could begin walking and try to maybe clear her thought, a plan had come to her overnight, it was a long shot for sure, but if she could somehow get in, find one little crack.... it’d be enough to save her until she could devise a better plan into rebuilding the empire that she had lost.... “ It’s better than waiting to starve to death at least.” She sighed to herself as her brought her wasted hole riddled hoof up to brush one of the many exoskeleton corpse of one of her servants, one of her children... She could never bring herself to bury the last of them, the ones that had died and so the Changeling hive was littered with a good hundred of these cold lifeless husks- their cold,dead green eyes staring out into a life that they’d never see again. “I’m so sorry I failed you all, I wasn’t fit to be queen and you paid for it with all your lives, but I promise if this works, I rebuild our empire stronger and better than ever and make those fools pay for ever crossing Queen Chrysalis....” She then reached into the last vestiges of her strength and transformed into a unicorn mare with a green eyes and a tan coat... Two Weeks later It was a rainy day in Ponyville as Berry Punch made her way to her job at the local bar- she served as a bartender serving drinks from dusk to dawn to all of Ponyville’s smallish nightlife scene, but it was enough to get by since Colgate had left her to move back to Canterlot thus taking most of her means of living and most of her happiness with her. Thus it was with a remorse face as the fuschia earth pony looked into the slate grey clouds and sighed. “I just don’t understand Brushie-Honey what I did to make you fall out of love with me.” She then continued her walk soon reaching her destination and walking inside. “Hey Berry, Berry Punch... Punch Punch Berry Berry Punch Punch.” Giggled a Sloshed Carrot Top as she made her way over to the bathrooms to relieve herself of one of the easy parts of the burden Drinking causes and fell right into a table, which broke under her weight as she tried to wave at her close friend, obviously failing causing the fuschia mare to sigh as she walked over to help the red-headed pony up. “If you know you can’t handle the stronger drinks here why do you get them?” She hissed as the cream colored mare deposited the contents of her stomach onto the floor and all over herself before Berry had the chance to help her up. “Because..... Because I don’t know anymore.” Sighed Carrot as she felt herself being picked up off the floor by the sober mare and escorted to the bathroom to be rinsed off in the sink, she’d have to take care of the rest at home after Berry got something in her friend’s stomach so she could at least sober up enough to make the trip. “Hey Neon Lights can you get me some Bread and butter for Carrot Top please, at least a half loaf.” Called out Berry to the Blue coated Unicorn who helped the owner run the place who nodded although it was obvious he was slightly annoyed, and as Berry helped Carrot to sit down in one of the stalls Neon came back the the stack of bread- sitting it down on the table. “You’re paying for that table and this bread too, you do know that right Carrot top....” He sighed as the mare nodded in the affirmative and he left. “So what happened this time?” Sighed Berry as she stared at her friend’s bloodshot eyes and placed a hoof on hers “It’s just.... It’s been a really bad season this year, me and Daisy aren’t sure if we’ll have enough crop this year to survive over winter, I mean it’s so annoying to because usually my carrots and her flowers grow so well on the land we’ve got together.” Explained Carrot as she took one of the piece of bread and bit into it. “So you thought you’d come here and show how much of a lush you can be, that’s going to help how?” Snapped Berry annoyed with her friends attitude. “Oh like you’re one to talk, When was the last time you stayed sober for over a week, oh that’s right never... You know that’s why Colgate left you, right. You loved your Applejack Daniels more than it seemed you loved her.” Rebuked Carrot stuffing more of the food into her mouth as Berry’s magenta eyes lit up with anger. “You know what... I think you’ve had enough bread, you should go now. I’ll pay for this.” She said as she fought back the urge to hit the cream colored mare but only just as she didn’t need to lose her job. “Whatever... The booze in this place sucks anyways.” Carrot spat as she slammed down the bits for her bill and slowly made her way out. Berry then made her way behind the bar to start her night <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> It was about four in the morning when Chrysalis entered the bar her guise still in effect so all that Berry and Neon seen was the tan coated green maned unicorn sitting down at the lounge and picking up a menu. “Hi how may I help you?” Asked Berry having walked over to her to take her order. “A Glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, please” she said looking up at Berry and measuring her up. Hmm this one is interesting, I can sense she’s emotionally unbalanced, perhaps a recent break up.... Yes she’s perfect and I can already tell she’s attracted to this form I’ve taken, maybe a bit of a push. “It’s.... kinda late what time do you get off?” Chrysalis asked letting her body language become that of somepony depressed and very lonely. “In about thirty minutes, why?” Asked Berry taking in the young looking mare’s slumped posture and sad eyes and feeling kinda sorry for her. She must of just lost her partner too, I know how you feel honey. Damn though she’s kinda hot who wouldn’t go for those jade colored eyes of hers... I kinda hope her aura’s that same color.... I could fall in love with eyes like that. “I could use the company... I just moved her and I don’t know anypony yet, but you seem really nice, so could I buy you a drink?” She asked as Berry grabbed the bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from the shelf and a wine glass from the rack of clean glasses. “Sure, I’d like that...ummm” “Jade, call me Jade.” She said Smiling happily.... <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> After a few hours and a couple of strong drinks Berry had been feeling good and a lot more open to this strange new mare that she had just met, and yet was feeling already a great deal more attracted to. “Hoof to Celestia she really did, she ate every single one!” Guffawed Berry as she took another hit from the frosted highboy that had Long island iced tea in it and gasped for air as she came up from slamming the drink. “Wow this Carrot Top friend of yours sounds like a lot of fun when she’s tossed.” Laughed Jade swirling the wine around in her glass; smiling as she watched the fuschia mare pour even more of the amberish colored liquid into the tall thin glass, knowing it wouldn’t be long before even somepony like Berry Punch would be drunk enough for her to convince coming home with her. “She is....” Berry sighed “She really is, when she’s not drinking to forget something... then she can be kinda mean.” She looked over to the smashed table and blinked a couple of times before turning back to Jade. “But enough about me, tell me about yourself? I mean we don’t get a lot of Unicorns like you around here.” “What’s to tell, I moved here from Las Pegasus about a week ago, and got myself situated with an apartment and a Job and decided I’d come out to enjoy the nightlife.” Jade smiled as she spun the web that would lead her to loving her tighter and tighter. “Yeah but I mean what are you into, Like I mean you came from Las Pegasus so you must really like gambling right?” Berry asked staring into the unicorn’s eyes again. “ A bit, I’m more into hanging out with others, seeing if maybe they might be you know... the one for me...” Jade said grinning sadly and putting her hoof on the table. “Well Ponyville’s got a few good ponies around that are single, and I’m certain anypony would want to date somepony like you, but I mean what are you into Stallions or Mares?” Berry asked hoping beyond hope that the answer would be the latter as she slowly put her hoof on the table too. “Mares... Definitely mares.” Smiled Jade placing her hoof on Berry’s and squeezing, and I really do like earth ponies, I mean you all are so strong and unshakable, after all you have no wings to fly, or magic to help you use the tools you do, it must be a hard life... Would you like to maybe come over to my place?” She asked fluttering her eyes at the fuschia mare. “Sure, I’ll love to, just lead the way and I’m there.” Berry Smiled as she tipsy got to her hooves. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> About after twenty minutes and much stumbling by the drunken pony they finally found themselves after the beaten up apartment buildings that housed the rougher of ponyville citizens and Jade reached into her saddlebag to get the key to the door. “Sorry it’s not much, but please come in.” Said Jade opening the door and leading Berry inside who in her state didn’t really take much of the strange decor in. “I’ve seen... Hic.... worse.” Said the sloshed pony as Jade helped her to sit down on one of the green couches, when Chrysalis had rented the room she cast a few simple spells to make it seem more like her hive and now the walls were painted black and all the furniture was dyed a darkish green color. “Thanks, would you like anything?” She asked as she stood up and started to walk towards the kitchens. “I.... hic.... I could use some..... Hic.... Sleep.” Berry Mumbled as she started to curl up on the lumpy sofa having been up since four the previous afternoon. “I have a bed that you can sleep on.” Nodded Jade as she helped the Lush up and they started down the darkened hallway. “Uhhh, I feel something weird....” Moaned Berry before a hissing sound began to sound from between the sloshed pony’s legs. “Hmmm what’s that... do you have a leak?” She asked not having noticed she was relieving herself all over the carpet “No, but it seems that you had a bit too much to drink Hun!” Jade laughed as they continued down the hallway. “Hmm Why are you laughing don’t laugh.” Muttered Berry before she looked down at herself. “Aww jeez... I’m sorry....” She began before a wave of nausea doubled her over and Jade teleported over a basin for her to get sick in, as soon as she was done they entered the bedroom and Jade got into her closet. This was almost too easy! Laughed Chrysalis to herself as she gathered up a pack of diapers and changing supplies that she had gotten with what little bits she had after making sure she had a place to stay, and soon she came out of the closet. “I’m really sorry Berry, but I must insist that you lay down.”Jade said as she began walking over to the bed the items she had gathered in place sight as they hung in her aura and Berry blushed as what Jade was going to do registered in her mind. “Oh no way... You can’t make me wear.” Began Berry before she back too far away and tripped over the bed giving Jade the chance she needed to diaper her using magic. “Hey take this off of me!” Berry snapped trying to struggle but being too intoxicated to focus enough to remove the tapes. “Aww but you look so cute like this Berry, besides hun, It’s only until you sober up.” Jade smiled as she stretched the back of the diaper a bit to add some powder to the mare’s backside. “You... Hic....Promise?” Berry asked as she tried getting up but failed. “Promise.” Jade grinning obviously lying but the drunk pony didn’t notice. “So... um... Bed?” Berry asked as she yawns slightly. “Sure, it’s only a twin, and it’s a bit beat up but it should do right?” Jade Smiled as Berry tried to get under the covers. “It’s alright..” She smiled as Jade used her magic to help her. “I’ll leave you to rest then” She smiled as she began to turn and walk towards the door before Berry tried sitting up waving at her. “What about you?” She asked as Jade stopped at the door and smiled “Would you like me to lay with you?” She asked making her way back over to the bed smiling at the chance to feed off of Berry’s love for her. “Well, I mean it’s your bed too.” Berry smiled as she scooted over as much as she could on the small twin mattress as the thin Unicorn laid down next to her. “Are you sure you’re not uncomfortable?” She asked cuddling up to the warm earth pony and starting to absorb the waves of love coming from her. “Nah Buds need to ..Yawn... Stick together.” Smiled Berry before falling asleep. “Well then good night Berry.” Smiled Jade her eyes glowing brighter as The fuchsia mare wrapped her hooves around her and hugged before slipping into unconsciousness T.B.C
