"Come on Darby, it's only it's only a few more miles until we reach Thicket." shouted to her husband from the across the snow covered forest who was lagging behind, panting very hard. The little deer was a very petite brown reindeer with a small white spot on her chest, small velvet antlers and a white tail, she also had a very impatient look on her face as her brother came up panting. he was an average sized reindeer with with fully sized and white tail. They both also a small cask around there necks with magical water that help them maintain and control the wildlife around without harming ecosystem.
"*huff* *huff* i-i'm coming," he said in a tired voice, stopping in front of his wife. "Why are you in such a rush?" He asked, felling like he is going to pass out any minute.
Elaine scoffed "because i want to have more time to make dinner when we get home." She said Peevishly. She wanted more time read her favorite stories before she goes to sleep.
"it's not even the afternoon yet, you'll have plenty of time to read your stories." He said dismissively while still catching his breath.
Darby and Elaina are currently in the middle of the snow covered Everfree forest, gathering some nuts and fruit for supper at there cottage in the forest city of Thicket located deep in the center of the Forest.
"Oh ok then i guess then you'll have plenty of time to wait for dinner then." She said dismissively as well. Darby sighed.
"alright alright, i'm sorry ok." Darby said. He had forgotten how she loved to read but also how seriously she took her bedtime due to how early she has to wake up. Elaine then immediately flashed a satisfied smile.
"Great then let's keep going." she said walking in their villages direction while her husband followed behind. meanwhile in the outer reaches of space a lone spaceship journey was coming to end as it made it's dissent into the planets atmosphere.

Princess Celestia is currently standing atop her balcony at the Canterlot castle gazing upon the mountains in the distance with her magic telescope that despite it's small size could reach great distances. Previously she had been given the telescope as a gift from a recently founded charity organization called food for all or HFA for recently donation more funds from her personal treasury to help them in there quest to supply food to all citizen of Equestria. Although she found it pointless to make an organization purely to supply to a populace that was never really starving in the first place, not to mention there were already hundreds of other organization doing it.
But she still found there efforts noble and wanted them to have a very good start. The was suppose to be a telescope that with magic could see great distance and see through object via x-ray vision to see even further. Eager to test it out she immediately tested it out after day court. She could have waited until nighttime but ........... Luna used to be one that always gazed upon the star, her stars. Immediately dispelling the depressing thoughts from her mind she decided test by gazing the Everfree forest. lo and behold it actually worked, not only could she clearly see the forest she could see deep into the forest, soo deep she even caught glimpses of sleeping hydra. Wow they are a quite bigger then she remember.
She decided to have little fun with the telescope but taking advantage of it's x-ray features by spying upon the noble houses of Canterlot. That day she learned that alot of noble loved to look at themselves in the mirror and tell themselves how great are. Actually quite alot of them did, even the wives? Was this a trend she had not heard of. Perhaps she should try it out later, she is quite great after all. She was about to turn in for the day until she caught something in her peripheral vision in the sky. curious she aimed her telescope at it but before she could set her sights on it it immediately dissapeared into a forest in the far distance.
She was quite curious as to what it was, it descended way to fast for a regular Pegasus to handle. Perhaps it was another flying species such a dragon or griffon. Although for a second she could have sworn she saw fire coming out of the back of it.

Darby and Elaine had been walking across the forest for what seemed like 5 minutes and was going past a frozen lake when they all of a sudden began to hear a cacophony of loud noises above them. They paused trying to pin point where to noise was coming from, looking at the bushes and snow covered trees near them. Eventually there eyes spotted a strange object descending at high speed towards the ground near them. The large crashed into the forest at high speed and skidding across the forest towards them.
"What in the name of Ceryneian is that." Elaine said pointing to the large object descending into the forest.
"oh no the sky is falling!!" Darby said in despair. Elaine looked at him dumbstruck.
"What the heck are you talking about, it's obviously a-." she was then interrupted.
"Who care what it is, run!!" Darby shouted running into the cave near them. Elaine realizing she was just standing there immediately joined her husband in the cave.
The large crashed into the forest at high speed, skidding across the forest destroying lots of tress and rocks, all the while the animals of the forest desperately got out of the way while birds flew off in the distance. The couple began to get really worried as the noise of the crashing object got more closer and they held each other tightly as if they were in their final moments. Their hearts nearly stopped when the object skidded right past the entrance of the cave they were in and for a brief moment they saw an object that seemed to foreign and strange. it was only for a small moment so they couldn't tell exactly what but it's seemed to have the trappings of a ....... something? Darby had no idea what he saw while to Elaine it look like the old concept art for a spaceship that an old inventor made centuries ago. whatever it was they both in knew that it certainly wasn't from around here.
The obje- ship began to slow down as it reached the frozen lake, it then began to skid across the frozen lake, making a noise so annoyingly loud that even the animals cringed. It was truly a mystery how the ice managed not to give way from a ship skidding across it. Finally it came to a screeching halt in the middle of a river and then everything went silent. the cervine couple and even the animals were stunned silent from what had just occurred. The sound that could be heard was the sound of the odd humming coming from the strange anomaly on the river and dead branches dropping from the destroyed trees that managed to stay up after the ship went past them.
Silence went for an unbearably long 2 minutes before finally Elaine had the nerve to slowly and cautiously come out from the cave. Darby seeing his wife stepping out immediately tried to reach out for her and pull her back but was she was already near the entrance of the cave. His concern for his wife outweighing his fear slowly began to inch his way towards her.
"Elaine what are doing?" He whispered to her in concern.
"I'm going out there to see what crashed here." she said half scared and half curious.
"What!? you can't it might be too dangerous" he half whispered and half shouted. For all they know it could be monster from a faraway land. Elaine was about retort until they heard a deep growl..... a very bear like growl ....... a very annoyed that it was awakened from it's slumber because it was in hibernation growl. By the time they realized that going into a deep dark cave was perhaps a bad idea, they were already out of the cave and 20 feet away and hyperventilating from almost being eaten by an annoyed that probably didn't appreciate having it's home invaded by two screaming deer.
After they had calmed down they had realized that they were already at edge of the lake that the ship stopped on.The strange ship was unlike anything they have ever seen. The spaceship seemed to have all the trappings of a rocket, only it looked very crystal like in appearance. It also seemed to have strange marking on the side that they guessed was some kind of language. It seemed like it wouldn't be there for long though as they noticed steam rising from it, indicated that it must be very hot. It was only a matter of time before the ice under it would give way, they could already hear the crack forming.
Before they could think of anything else a loud swishing sound and moving gears erupted from the ship making gasp in shock. They were about to go back to the cave and take there chances with the bear until they saw what appeared to be the ships hatch beginning to open. They froze, both of them completely paralyzed in fear. Before the silence could go on as long as it did they started hear movement coming from ship. They waited for the occupant to to reveal itself, anxious but also fearful what it could be. 4 minutes of agonizing silence went by with nothing happening. Elaine began to wonder if the occupant died on impact when all of the sudden they started hear the sounds of ....... baby noises?
