Return of the Celestial Son
One thousand years ago, on the final battle of the Eclipse War.
A night terror landed in the center of ponyville.

"You will all die" roared the dragon
Ponies started running, screaming for their lives. A little green filly by the name of Apple Smith was trapped between the monstrous beast and a fallen tree. The dragon opened it's maw to turn the filly into a crisp. but then the dragon was hit by a blur of Blue, Brown and Gold. the dragon was hit so hard, it was knocked off it's feet and landed in a nearby pond.
the colt landed. He was blue with a brown and gold mane and tail. Upon his head he wore a romarian war helmet and on his body he wore romarian greaves and chest plate. at his side hung a gladius.
the warrior landed and ran over to the green filly
"Don't worry, your safe now" he told softly to the young filly. "come now, we got to get you to the safety bunkers."
he picked up the filly and flew quickly to the bunker were every pony else wase gathering.
"what's yer name sir?" asked AppleSmith looking up at her savior.
" The names Angel, Blast Angel. Now hurry, i'm gotta go keep the beast busy until we get reinforcements." The colt replied. He turned and took off back to the dragon.
Blast Angel drew his sword and shouted at the Night Terror.
"Lets do this you overgrown dung beetle!"
"I'm going to flay you alive and strip your skin from your bones, foal" the dragon roared back.
And with that they lunged at each other.
In the morning Applesmith and her fellow ponies left the bunker to find a dead Night Terror. But they could not find Blast Angel. The only trace of him was his golden helm, found by the a tree. This tree was also the only not burnt to a crisp, not only that, it still had all of its leaves green and healthy.
The ponies moved the dead dragon and put a statue of their hero in it's place
they also turned the tree that survived and turned it into a library called the Golden Helm library, now known as the Golden Oaks library.
Present day
"And that young colts and fillies is the story of the Black Angel statue we have here today." Said Miss Cheerilee " Are there any questions."
several student raised their hooves.
"is ponyville library really the same tree that survived the dragon attack?"
"Do they now how Blast Angel killed the dragon?"
"Is Granny Smith the same filly that Mr. Angel saved from the dragon" asked Apple Bloom
"That is a good question Apple Bloom., when you get home why don't you ask her" answered Cheerilee
"Ring ring ring ring ring ring" went the bell
"Okay class we will pick were we left off on after spring break, have a nice holiday." shouted Cheerilee
Three Fillies raced out of the school on their way to sweet apple acres.
"Do you really think Granny Smith is Apple Smith, Apple Bloom?" asked Sweetie Belle
"That would be like so awesome if it is." exclaimed Scootaloo
"I don't know guys, we will have ask Granny ourselves." Responded Apple Bloom
the had just passed the Black Angel statue
That is when they found him. A teenage colt covered covered in burns lying on the ground in front of the statue.
" hey mister are alright." ask Apple bloom
"Uunhg, go get help please." responded the Colt
"Scoots, go find miss Twilight and get help." Apple Bloom told Scootaloo
Scootaloo then took off in search of help.
" Excuse mister, whats your name?" Asked Sweetie belle
" My name.. " Answered the colt "My Name is Blast Angel"

"So how is he Nurse?" Twilight asked Nurse Redheart. She had brought the colt in to Ponyville hospital 3 hours ago.
"I'm not sure if I could believe this myself but his wounds are healing remarkably quick. He seems to have almost the same kind of mana cells that you and the princess have." responded Nurse Redheart. " Not only that, the kind of cutey mark he has hasn't been seen in a thousand years."
"Hmm, could I see him maybe. The fillies who found him mentioned some thing about his name." asked Twilight Sparkle " they said it was Eternal Angel."
"No way. That can't be him he should have died a thousand years ago, hmm, unless the alicorn blood gave him immortality but, no that can't." said Redheart
"Who, are you talking about, and who is this Eternal Angel?" asked Twilight who was surprisingly clueless on the matter
"My dear Twilight, I'm surprised you are clueless on this matter, after all my student, You should know literally everything about Eclipse war." said a familiar voice
Twilight turned around to see none other than her mentor. "Princess Celestia!" the mare exclaimed, rushing to the alicorn giving her a hug.
"what are you doing here Princess?'' asked twilight
"You will see soon my student, nurse Redheart may we see the colt." Celestia asked Redheart
"sure right this way, you majesty." responded the nurse
The group left the lobby to go to the colt in questions room only to find him out of bed stretching his wings. The colt had blue fur, with a a brown and gold mane. Twilight noticed his cutie mark with wonder. The mark was a helmet, but not one of the guard, no it was an ancient gladiator helm from ancient Romane.
The colt turned to face them. He was almost completely healed, only a white scar running down his jaw line was visible. The patient looked at Twilight and Redheart, then when he looked at Princess Celestia, his face became one of sadness.
"M-m-mother is that really you?" asked the colt with tears running down his face.
"Yes my child, yes it is me." responded Celestia with her tears of joy
The colt leaped at Celestia, smothering her in hug, Celestia in turn wrapped her soft wing around him.
"My little angel, you have no idea how much I've missed you."
Twilight was confused. Who was this pony, why was he giving Princess Celestia a hug. Whoever he was, Twilight decided to let them have some alone time.
