"Great show, Vinyl" Said Vinyl Scratches manager as she stepped off stage.
"Thanks,man!" Responded back Scratch as she fallowed her manager into the hall leading to backstage. She had just finished her first show of the year. Before she could say anything else a pink pony jumped in front of her.
"Vinyl Scratch, Vinyl Scratch, Vinyl Scratch" Called out a brightly pink mare.
"Ugh, Pinkie Pie right?" Chuckled Scratch
"EEEE.... you know my name!!!" Exclaimed Pinkie while hopping around ecstatically
"You know it kid." Responded Scratch
"Uh....can you sign my flank, like right next my cutie mark?" Asked Pinkie, elated as usual.
"You want it on your... excuse my language...ass?" Laughed Vinyl while giving Pinkie her usual "cool" look.
"YEAH!" Screamed Pinkie back. Vinyl's manager by now was staring at Pinkie in amazement.
"Whatever floats your boat, you crazy mare." Sighed Vinyl in a friendly way as she positioned her marker right next to Pinkie's balloon cutie mark. "What a badass cutie mark." Thought Vinyl quietly. Vinyl was a little uncomfortable by how close she was to her flank but proceeded to sign "Vinyl Scratch" in curly letters.
"Your the best!" Said Pinkie when Vinyl finished, than bounced off to who knows where.
"Aw, man that mare, she was WAY too excited to see me." Exclaimed Vinyl to her manager as she opened the door to go backstage.
"Honey, if you're gonna get better at your job you will be dealing with stuff like that way more often." Quietly said Vinyl's manager, which everyone called jacket, Vinyl had no idea why but always bugged him to know, he never would tell her. When Vinyl and Jacket stepped backstage about 20 ponies rushed to get her autograph.
"Im sorry my fans, but tonight im way too tired to sign autographs." Yawned Vinyl as she fought through the crowd to the back door where a carriage would be waiting to take Vinyl to her afterparty.
"See you at the party, Scratch" Called back Jacket as Vinyl stepped into the carriage being pulled by 2 brown stallions.
"Go, slaves go!" Yelled Vinyl sarcastically to the 2 stallions. They both turned and looked at Vinyl with a "Buck You" look.
"Sorry,it was just a joke" Apologized Vinyl as they began to stride along, soon she was standing in front of a nightclub located in the northside of Manehaten. She just moved there a few weeks ago on behalf hitting a record deal. She was hugely popular in Ponyville but moving to Manehatten was a big step she need to take.
Vinyl was deep in thought when she arrived in front of the huge nightclub famously named "Octavia's Lounge". Sounds boring, but it was actually a infamous club for drugs, partying, and booze. Vinyl stepped off the carriage just in time to meet Jacket. "Why is he always everywhere and no where?" thought Vinyl.
"Ready to have your hooves blown off?" Snickered jacket.
"But, I like my hooves." Laughed Vinyl back as they stepped into the front door of the club. Vinyl could already hear the loud noises of the music from inside. This is what she lives for.
"Name." Demanded a bouncer at the entrance of the loud club.
"BIG MACINTOSH!!!!!" Exclaimed Vinyl scaring Jacket.
"You know this pony?" Asked Jacket
Vinyl smiled at Jacket. "Why, he's related to Apple Jack, isn't this right Macintosh?"
"Eeyup." Stated Macintosh in his stereotypical way.
"So, will he let us in or what?" Whispered Jacket to Vinyl.
Vinyl gave Jacket a sneer. "So, can we go in Macintosh?" Vinyl said giving him her cutest eyes yet.
Macintosh blankly stared forward for a few seconds before scooting to the side of the doorway.
"Nice conversation with ya." Said Jacket sarcastically while walking pat Macintosh. Vinyl gave him a dirty look and kicked him in the shin. Once inside the door a long hallway leaded the way to the inner door. Vinyl could hear the bass bounce from outside the door. As she strode forward colorful graffiti appeared on the walls before her.
"Ready kid?" Asked Jacket in front of the brightly graffiti door.
"You know it." Chuckled back Vinyl. She knew this was going to be a night to remember.
