The train whistle roused Trackstar, who had been dozing in his compartment. He eagerly looked out the window, and above the crowd of ponies exiting the train he noticed a sign that said “Welcome to Phillydelphia.” Realizing that he did not miss his stop, Trackstar laid back down and let the sunlight coming through the window warm his sleek silver fur.
“How much longer until this train reaches Ponyville?” Trackstar thought to himself eager to get off and go for a jog. He looked out the window longingly, because track and field events were his passion. His cutie mark, which he had gotten when he entered his first track meet and won every event, confirmed this. On his lean and sinewy flank was the cutie mark that everypony had after finding out their special talent. Trackstar’s was a red shoe with a blue lightning bolt on it. The thought of running reminded of his home and friends in Canterlot, even though the athletic pony knew he could never go back there. Princess Celestia would never allow it.
After he became a famous runner, Trackstar saw her watching him at all the competitions. It wasn’t long until she invited him into her castle. Not wanting to refuse the princess, Trackstar accepted the invitation; however, it wasn’t long before he realized that Celestia wanted something more from him. Though he tried to stay innocent, the princess could not resist his sexy runner’s body, and demanded to have sex with him. As he sat in his compartment and contemplated his new life, Trackstar saw that the ponies seated next to him were also awake. One was a glamorous unicorn named Rarity, with a white coat and purple hair. The other one was Pinkie Pie, an earth pony with a pink coat and mane. They had been found yesterday, travelling in a mine cart out of the desert looking dirty and tired. With all the compartments already occupied, the two mares quickly decided to share one with the handsome stallion they saw looking at them from his window. After they had their way with him a few times, they explained to Trackstar that they lived in Ponyville. Their friends had left them behind, and Rarity was furious.
“When I get back you’re gonna get it Rainbow Dash!” the unicorn had said angrily. Exhausted into a sexual coma after staying with Trackstar, the two mares seemed to have forgotten their anger at their friend.

“I just wish I could run today,” Trackstar replied, “I have missed practice for two days with all this travelling, I need to exercise.” Saying this, the unicorn’s horn lit up, and Trackstar felt a tugging sensation on his stallionhood.
“Rarity, what are you doing?” Trackstar asked with a look of surprise on his face “we just did that a few hours ago.”
“I know, but I wanted you to myself, and I thought you could use a workout” the purple- haired unicorn replied. The silver pony nodded and gave her a sly grin as he put his mouth around her horn and started to lick it. He reached a hoof down to stroke her pussy, which was already wet with anticipation. He had his way of Pinkie Pie for another hour before the energetic pony was exhausted. The two mares slumped against the wall while Trackstar did some hoof-ups.
“So what kind of job do you have for yourself in Ponyville?” Pinkie Pie asked. As Trackstar explained he did not have one yet, the pink pony responded “silly, you can’t just stay here without a job, I will get you a place to work at Sugarcube Corner Bakery until you find something.” As Trackstar thanked her, the train began coming to a halt, the conductor shouting “next stop, Ponyville!!!” As the three ponies prepared to leave the compartment, Pinkie Pie said excitedly “we need to throw you a party so you can meet all of my great friends!” Trackstar couldn’t wait to meet these ponies, and hoped they would be as attractive as these two.
“Oh, and one other thing,” Rarity said, “I am sort of seeing someone right now, could you be a dear and keep quiet about this.”
“You really are a dirty little pony, very well I promise not to tell anyone,” Trackstar replied while slapping her flank.
“Cross your heart and hope to fly stick a cupcake in your eye?” Pinkie Pie asked.
Bewildered, Trackstar said “sure thing Pinkie” before stepping off of the train to his new town.
Sexual Adventures of Trackstar
Trackstar stood in front of the large, hollowed- out oak tree that served as the town’s library.
“Well, this must be the place,” the pony thought to himself, as there were no other trees around. He knew that Pinkie was an energetic filly, but had not expected to be at a party and meet her friends this quickly, just one day after arriving at his new home. Realizing that waiting around outside the entrance made himself look awkward, Trackstar decided that now was as good a time as any to knock on the door. Almost instantly the door swung wide open to reveal Pinkie Pie. “
Come on new friend!!” she said with barely contained excitement, dragging him into the room. He had no time to look at his surroundings, as the pink pony quickly ran to an odd wheeled contraption labeled “Party Wagon.” With a press of a button from Pinkie Pie, the wagon unveiled brightly colored flags and streamers while festive music began to come from inside the device. Pinkie Pie quickly broke into a song and dance number: “Welcome to Ponyville, My New Best Friend.” By the end of the odd performance, Trackstar could not help but smile at his new friend’s antics.
As the singing stopped, though, pipes with colorful swirl patterns began to shoot a white and creamy mixture into the air. With the pure athleticism of an athlete competing in the long jump, he leapt 10 yards out of the way and crashed into a wall as the substance landed everywhere in the room. From this new position, he finally had a chance to view his surroundings. The inside of the tree house was filled with books by the hundreds, their shelves covering almost every inch of wall. In the center of the room was a table with dozens of cupcakes, pies, and other tasty treats.
Around the table sat Pinkie Pie’s friends. He already knew Rarity, but the small purple dragon looking longingly at her was unfamiliar. Besides those two, there were 4 other ponies at the table: one has an orange coat and yellow mane, one was a unicorn had a purple coat and mane, a pegasus had a rainbow colored mane and a sky blue coat, while the final pegasus had a light yellow coat and a light pink mane. It was hard to make out; however, because all of them were covered in the creamy white mixture.
“Silly me!” said Pinkie Pie as she giggled, “I always forget to put the cake batter in the oven and the confetti in the Party Wagon.” With that her tongue elongated in a manner that seemed to defy the laws of physics and in a matter of seconds had licked off the cake batter covering her entire body.
“You creamed all over us” said the light yellow pegasus in a soft and gentle voice.
“Well Ah guess we will just have to clean ourselves off before meetin’ our new friend,” said the orange coated one in a twangy southern accent as she wiped off her cowgirl hat. With that, the ponies began licking the batter off their coats.
Trying to make himself useful, he hurried over to the yellow pony and said “you need a hand there, or perhaps a tongue?”
“Sure, I could use some help, I am Fluttershy by the way, you must be Trackstar, my two friends told me all about how amazingly in shape and fit you are.” Embarrassed by the compliment, the earth pony began to lick away the cake batter enjoying the delicious taste of it.
“Could you go a little higher?” Fluttershy asked in a voice that was barely a whisper. Trackstar immediately complied, his tongue going higher up her legs. “Oh my!” said the pegasus, as her wings began to raise themselves slightly off of her back. He continued to lick the area, while Fluttershy let out a small squeal of satisfaction. This went on for some time, her wings standing straighter and straighter each second.
After another few minutes, Trackstar heard a voice say, “alright, friends, it looks like we are all cleaned up so let’s go try these cupcakes and get acquainted with this new pony.” Turning his head, Trackstar saw that the speaker was the purple unicorn realized that the other ponies had finished licking the frosting off of their bodies and were getting ready to sit down at the table. The rainbow- maned pony, though, had her wings slightly raised and her back against the wall as if to hide this fact. When he looked at her, she quickly turned her head away. Worried that the pegasus saw what he was doing, the athletic pony quickly sat down at the table. Although all of the treats looked delicious, he decided to start with a slice of apple pie. The first bite melted in his mouth, and he quickly took several more slices to put on his plate.
“Wow, this is really delicious,” Trackstar said, “Pinkie, did you make these to?”
“That pie would be mine,” replied the orange pony, “A’hm Applejack, me and my family run the farm outside of the town.”
“Wow, this is just great, perhaps I could get some more of this later on,” said Trackstar as he shoveled several more forkfuls of it into his mouth.
With a glance at his sleek runner’s body, Applejack responded, “Definitely stranger, I’ll make sure you get some Apple pie again soon.” By now the blue pegasus had sat down, and began to nibble at a cupcake.
“So Trackstar, I hear you are a great athlete,” she said with the voice of a tomboy, “I bet I am still the fastest pony in town though.”
“Rainbow Dash, quit being so competitive, this pony has won every meet he has been in,” the purple unicorn said in a calming voice.
“Oh yeah?!! Well I guess he will just have to prove it then, I challenge you to a race,” the blue pegasus named Rainbow Dash said with a competitive edge in her voice.
Not wanting to be rude, Trackstar replied, “sure, I guess a friendly race couldn’t hurt, where do you want to run?”
Narrowing her eyes Rainbow Dash said, “at Ghastly Gorge.” With a shrug Trackstar followed her out of the library, leaving the other ponies looking shocked at the new development. The two competitors arrived at a steep canyon, the other ponies followed behind curiously.
“Now Rainbow, you can’t use your wings in the race, t’ain’t fair,” Applejack said. Trackstar shrugged and told the pegasus she could use whatever she wanted in the race. With the issue settled, the two athletes lined up at the mouth of Ghastly Gorge.
“See you at the finish line guys,” Dash said with confidence, “this won’t take long.” With a look to see that Trackstar was prepared, Rainbow Dash took off down the gorge at full speed. Trackstar paused for a second to admire the beauty and speed of the mare, and then took off after her. It took no time at all to pass her, and soon he could see the finish line. He slowed down and looked back to see how Rainbow Dash was doing, and saw her straining to go faster, obviously angry that she was likely to be beaten badly by an earth pony. Trackstar slowed down even more, and by the time he crossed the finish line the pegasus was only seconds behind him.
“What? That’s not fair you must have cheated!” Rainbow Dash said accusatively as she landed. Despite being on the ground again, Dash’s wings were still standing straight up. The other ponies looked shocked at this show of poor sportsmanship from Rainbow Dash, and the purple one seemed about to say something before the pegasus sped off sulking.
“I am sorry that Rainbow acted that way, Trackstar, she is just competitive. Once she has some time I’m sure that you two will be good friends.”
Trackstar graciously nodded in agreement and replied, “I have never seen a pegasus fly that well or fast, and with such beauty and athleticism.”
“Hold on there, partner,” Applejack said, “I don’t think Rainbow’s barn door swings that way.”
Before Trackstar could question the earth pony about this, the purple unicorn cut in and said, “I am Twilight Sparkle, sorry I did not have time to speak to you earlier. Anyway, I was hoping that you might be able to help me. I was seeing you run, and I have never seen anybody beat Rainbow Dash in a race, could you come back to the library so I might study you and learn what I can? I could write a letter to the princess with the research I have done.”
“Sure, sure,” said Trackstar, taken aback by this strange request, “I am happy to help.” “Must be a bit of a bookworm, but I suppose there is no harm in giving her a hand” Trackstar thought. With that, Twilight Sparkle’s horn glowed purple as she teleported herself and Trackstar back to the library for a night of studying.
Trackstar and Twilight Sparkle arrived back at the tree house; the decorations from Pinkie’s party were still up.
The purple pony entered behind him and said, “thanks again for helping me out with this studying, I will get my machine ready to work in a few minutes.” With that she began assembling an odd device in the middle of the room. Attached to several computer systems was a helmet with various colored lights on top, and a treadmill. “If you could just put on the helmet we can begin,” Twilight said as she attached a few wires to the helmet.
“What is this… thing?” Trackstar asked as he got strapped into the machine.
“I used this machine to try and figure out Pinkie’s “senses” last year, but I believe it will work better this time” Twilight responded. The purple pony stepped over and started to put some sensors on Trackstar. He could not help but notice, though, how the mare blushed as she touched his sleek runner’s body. As she used a tape measure to find his body dimensions, her horn started to glow a faint purple color.
“Alright Trackstar, if you are ready, I will start to run the treadmill at a slow pace,” said Twilight as she flipped on her machine. The athletic pony was barely jogging, and soon Twilight decided to increase the speed to the pace of a normal athlete. This increase in speed did not seem to effect his breathing at all. “Trackstar, I am going to increase the speed to the fastest Rainbow Dash can fly,” said Twilight as she continued to watch him. The treadmill increased its speed rapidly; however, Trackstar kept up the pace easily, only a few glistening drops of sweat indicated that the running was getting harder. “This doesn’t make any sense!” Twilight exclaimed, “how could someone on foot travel as fast as a winged Pegasus?”
“I suppose there are certain things that work, but just cannot be explained,” Trackstar replied, apparently still not short of breath.
“Well I do not believe in things I cannot explain,” Twilight said, “we will just to have to keep going for a while longer so I can figure this out.” The purple unicorn continued to watch her computer monitor for any data that might explain this pony’s amazing athleticism. Soon, she did not even bother to look at the computer screen, Twilight had become fixated on Trackstar’s body.
After this continued for an hour, Twilight worked up the courage to try something else, “Alright, I guess some things cannot be explained or figured out, thanks for your help Trackstar,” she said as she turned off her machines. “Perhaps we can try a different method of studying.” With that, her horn began to glow a brilliant purple, and Trackstar felt an invisible force tugging at his stallionhood.
Sudden realization came to him as he said, “I am sorry, Twilight, I should have known that watching me run would have made me irresistible, I should not have done this.”
“No, it’s ok, I want this to happen,” the purple unicorn replied with barely controlled desire.
“Are you sure about this, I mean you don’t seem to have a lot of experience in this sort of thing,” Trackstar said.
“It’s okay,” Twilight responded, “I have read a lot of books on this, I know what I am doing.” As she continued to magically work on Trackstar’s stallion hood, the athletic pony began to lick on her horn. “Wow, I’m really sensitive there,” Twilight moaned as a tongue skillfully caressed her glowing horn. Trackstar started to work her other parts as well using his hoof, they were already soaking wet.
“Wow, the books I read never said it would be this good” moaned Twilight, as Trackstar began to play his tongue across her clitoris. Her horn began to glow so brightly it bathed the tree house in purple light. The unicorn’s magic was so powerful that books began to fly off their shelves and surround them. The telekinetic magic felt amazing on his stallionhood, and while he wanted to go farther, Twilight seemed content to continue as things were. Not minding this at all, he applied himself to eating out Twilight with even more skill and speed. This continued for several hours, with Trackstar having pleased the purple pony multiple times.
“I feel so bad I am not actually getting any studying done,” mentioned Twilight with a guilty look on her face. With sudden inspiration, Trackstar grabbed one of the books floating around them and gave Twilight a smack on her flank with it.
“If you don’t keep hitting the books Twilight, you might have to go back to magic kindergarten,” the athletic pony said in a suggestive tone.
“You’re right, I should hit them more often,” responded Twilight with a new level of excitement. This continued on until a knock on the door to the library broke their focus. Looking out the window, Trackstar noticed that it was morning by now. He went to open the door, and found Pinkie Pie standing outside.
“Pinkie, what are you doing here?” he asked.
“It’s your first day of work at the bakery, remember?” the pink pony said excitedly. Sudden realization dawned on Trackstar.
“Okay, Pinkie, you and I will meet you there.”
“Okey dokey lokey, this is going to be so much fun!” Pinkie Pie responded. Closing the door, he found Twilight laying the pile of books exhausted. By now, she was so wet that the cover of the book Trackstar used to hit her was soaked.
Twilight looked up and said, “thank you for this, I am sorry I just am not ready to go all the way yet.” “That was a crazy night of studying,” she said with a satisfied look on her face. “I can’t wait to write to the princess about what I learned.”

Not the least bit tired from staying up all night to study, the silver pony exited the library and walked toward the bakery. He did not get very far; however, as the small purple dragon from the party was running to catch up to him shouting, “Trackstar, Trackstar hold up a second!!!” Turning back he looked at the slightly chubby little dragon, who by now was panting from the exertion to reach him.
“Yes…. Spike… right, what’s up?”
In between deep breaths of air, the purple dragon responded, “I saw you had a late night study session with Twilight.”
Not sure how his new friend would respond to hearing that he did anything but studying last night, Trackstar said, “Yeah we really were learning a lot.”
“No you didn’t, I know what you did with Twilight but it’s okay. I want her to be happy she is like a sister to me, I honestly thought she would never give up her marehood to anypony.”
“Right, but we didn’t end up going all the way so that is still intact,” Trackstar replied, “but surely you came here for something more than just to tell me this.”
“Well…” said Spike hesitantly, “you seem to have a way with the mares, and I was wondering, if you wouldn’t mind, if you could just help me out and give me some pointers.” Taken aback, Trackstar thought about it for a moment and soon he had figured out the best way to help the young dragon.
“From my experience, Spike, ponies love the colts who are on the track team and have lean and athletic bodies. You should go to school and try out for the track and field team.”
“That’s an awesome idea!” said Spike, “too bad we don’t have a track team at our school.”
With a look of shock Trackstar said “What do you mean? Every school needs a track team otherwise none of the colts will be able to get some action. I’ll tell you what, when I get a chance to I will head over to the school and talk some sense into the teacher there. If I have to, I will coach your team.”
Spike lit up with gratification and replied, “Thank you so much Trackstar, this will really help me out.”
“By the way, who are you trying to get with?” the athletic pony asked.
The little dragon looked around to make sure nobody was nearby and then whispered, “Rarity.” Trackstar grinned, knowing that he was going to help a small dragon’s dreams come true, even if he was only getting sloppy seconds. In another minute, the athletic pony reached a building with a sign overhead that read: Sugarcube Corner. Entering the store, Trackstar found Pinkie Pie eating a plate of cupcakes, while two other earth ponies were sitting at a table. The mare was looking over some sort of blueprint, while taking care of two baby ponies. The stallion was sitting opposite her, a bottle of Applejack Daniels was by his side, its contents half gone.
Pinkie looked up from her pile of desserts and beamed. “Welcome to your first day of work! These ponies here are Mr. and Mrs. Cake, they own the bakery. The baby unicorn is their daughter Pumpkin Cake and the baby pegasus is their son Pound Cake.”
“Wait, how can two earth ponies have unicorns and pegasi as children?” Trackstar responded.
“Because my great- great –great Grandfather in law twice removed was a pegasus,” Mr. Cake said with slurred speech.
“Honey, you are scaring our new employee, come help me plan our cake for the dessert contest,” Mrs. Cake said soothingly, “we can even sample the dessert and have a delicious treat!”
“Yeah, that will be the first time I have gotten some dessert in years,” Mr. Cake responded as he took a swig of the Applejack Daniels. Seeing that this situation was going to get ugly, Pinkie Pie took Trackstar aside.
“Okay then, your first job is to deliver this giant box of muffins,” she said. “Also, you will need to wear the delivery uniform.” Pinkie Pie brought him some really short, tight shorts and a vest without any buttons to close it up. Taking the hint the athletic pony took the muffins and quickly left Sugarcube Corner.
Fortunately, the house he had to deliver the muffins to was just a block away, there being only 40 houses in Ponyville. He knocked on the door, and a pegasus with gray skin, a blond mane, and a cutie mark of some bubbles greeted him. The thing that stood out about her, though, were her eyes. They were looking in different directions in a ditzy sort of way.
“Delivery for Mrs. Hooves,” Trackstar said as he read the note on the box of muffins. The pegasus’s eyes lit up as she saw the handsome young stallion who was delivering them to her. She paused for a moment, her face demonstrating a mind locked in concentration as she looked at the athletic pony in tight shorts standing before her.
“Thanks, come on in and have something to drink, I haven’t had you deliver muffins for me before, usually they send Pinkie.”
“Thanks Mrs. Hooves,” Trackstar responded, knowing from his years of training the importance of good hydration.
“Call me Derpy,” the mare responded as she shut the door behind him. She led him into the kitchen, where several discarded boxes were located, presumably they were once filled with muffins from the bakery. Hanging on a wall near the oven was a picture of her with a handsome earth pony with an hourglass cutie mark.
“Is that your husband, Derpy?” asked Trackstar as he took a seat by the kitchen table.
“Yes, that’s Doctor Hooves, but he is always away on business, I never see him anymore,” said Derpy as she got out several glasses.
“So do you want some rainbow juice then?” Derpy asked as she poured a glass for herself.
“No thank you, I don’t drink alcohol, it affects my running,” Trackstar said. The pegasus did her best to hide a look of disappointment as she got him a glass of water. She pulled out a chair for herself to sit in, but clumsily missed the chair and landed on the floor. Judging from the cracks on the floor there, Derpy had done this multiple times. Embarrassed, the gray pegasus sat down and looked at Trackstar lustfully. As she did this her wings extended crookedly, one of them knocking over her drink, which landed in Trackstar’s lap.
“I’ll get it,” Derpy said as she leaned over with a napkin. Unfortunately, she leaned too far and fell over Trackstar. Correcting herself she began to dry him off. “After I do this, do you want to sample my muffin?” Derpy asked suggestively.
Confused, Trackstar responded, “what are you talking abo..” Sudden realization dawned on him. “Derpy, are you trying to seduce me?” he asked. Derpy looked up at him, her crooked eyes welling with tears.
“I just don’t know what went wrong,” she replied. Looking back at the ditzy blond pony, he knew he wanted her.
Looking deep into her eyes, the athletic pony said, “nothing went wrong, it worked to perfection.” He bent over the table and started to go down on the pegasus. “Don’t move too much, you don’t want to cause any more damage than you have already done.” The athletic pony began to lick her marehood, and it soon became clear that his dexterity applied to more than just the track field. As the gray- coated pony bucked in pleasure, Trackstar could not help but stare at her cutie mark.
“Dat cutie mark,” he said as he stood up and mounted her. As the silver- coated stallion entered her, Derpy was fixated on the box of muffins. She slid her nose up to the box and inhaled the warm scent of those delicious treats. That scent only made Derpy more aroused, and soon she began to move back and forth with Trackstar. She had not spent time with her husband lately, though, so she finished rapidly.
Pushing off the table with her front hooves, the ditzy pony cried out “YAY TRACKSTAR!” As she did this, Trackstar lost his balance, and landed on his back with Derpy on top of him. The stallion did not stop even after this happened, he continued to thrust himself inside the pegasus.

A tomboyish voice replied, “why not? We have been together for so long now, don’t you remember what we did after the annual falling of the leaves race?” Curiously, Trackstar peered around the corner to see Rainbow Dash and Applejack.
“You know why, I already said I am not sure I like girls. Please Sugarcube, you are still my best friend, don’t take this personally.” Applejack nuzzled Rainbow Dash, who seemed to be on the verge of tears.
“Why?” she managed to gasp, “I really felt something during these months, please don’t leave me.”

Trackstar woke up the next day, ready to help Spike get a track team started for the school. He waited until his work was finished, and then made his way to the schoolhouse. As students left the classroom, he went over to the cute young teacher. “Hi, I’m Trackstar. There has been talk among the youth in your town about wanting to start a track and field team, and I would happy to be your coach. Being on a team like this is valuable thing for fillies and colts to experie..”
His sentence was cut short by a rainbow colored blur descending from the sky landing on the field. “Rainbow Dash is so awesome, though,” a young orange pegasus said, “I invited her hear to coach because she is the most athletic pony in Ponyville.”
“I guess we will just have to have a contest to see who is the most athletic,” Rainbow Dash said.
Not wanting to argue with or anger the beautiful mare graciously responded, “of course we can, Rainbow, you can pick the event and whoever loses will just be the assistant coach.” Rainbow Dash nodded in agreement before thinking about what kind of contest they should have.
“Okay, Trackstar, we will run a quarter mile of hurdles and anything goes.”
A white- furred unicorn asked, “but won’t that be unfair, your wings give you the advantage?” “It’s no big deal,” Trackstar interjected, “I will start getting the hurdles set up.” After a few minutes the two most athletic ponies in Ponyville were at the starting line. When Spike waved a flag, the two ponies raced for the first hurdle. Rainbow Dash used her wings to help her jump from the start; however, she was still no match for the speed of the stallion who was quickly outpacing her. As Trackstar reached the final stretch of the race, Rainbow ignored the hurdles entirely and straight out flew to catch up. Even with this, she could not gain on him. Seeing the competitive desperation in the mare, Trackstar slowed down enough to just win by a few yards in the hope she wouldn’t feel too bad about losing. The ponies cheered the new stallion on, shocked at his amazing athleticism.
“Trackstar is the greatest runner in all of Ponyville,” the gawky young unicorn said.
“No, he is the best athlete in all of Equestria!” his chubby counterpart responded.
“Rainbow, we can both be the coach of the team, you don’t have to be the assistant coach,” Trackstar said, hoping this hot mare would be willing to compromise.
“I hate losing, first Applejack and now this,” Rainbow Dash mumbled under her breath. Louder she shouted, “fine you can be coach, I didn’t want to be involved in this lame team anyway,” and then flew off angrily.
Though he wanted to go comfort the beautiful pegasus in the hopes she might return the feelings he had for her, Trackstar knew his duty was to the team, just as it was when he was in school. He started by having the three fillies try out the various events to see which ones they would be good at. The three ponies, having introduced themselves as Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo, began to work with much enthusiasm. Unfortunately, the way they yelled out “Cutie Mark Crusaders discus throwers” or whatever even they happened to be practicing soon got old. Sweetie Belle showed great promise as a racer, and he assigned her to run hurdles and distances. On the other hand, Scootaloo turned out to be a very fast runner, and so she was to focus on sprinting and jumping. Applebloom felt left out when many events were done without her finding one; however, during the throwing events she hurled the discus much farther than the other ponies. Spike’s arms were too weak and small to be a good thrower, and his legs too short to run sprints, so Trackstar made him a distance runner.
Though disappointed with his lack of skills, Trackstar told him, “don’t worry, you will get better in no time, I focus on distance running myself so I can coach you well.” As the small dragon smiled at him the earth pony added, “also, did you see the Cutie Mark Crusaders check you out, they must think you are quite a catch.”
Practice continued in the same way for a few weeks, with all the ponies showing remarkable improvement under the instruction of such a legendary athlete. Soon Spike was getting all sorts of attention from the mares and fillies, his reputation as a track runner being more than sufficient to warrant this new interest in him. One day, he found Applebloom and Spike missing from practice, and the next day Applebloom had a cutie mark that looked strangely like a purple dragon on her flank.
The day after this, Spike showed up to practice with a black eye. When asked to explain, he said that he had taught Applebloom what her talent was. When her older brother Big Macintosh found out about this and confronted the young dragon, he explained that the cutie mark was to represent what Applebloom did best, and she happened to do Spike best. Of course that statement caused Big Macintosh to hit him.
This didn’t stop the other Cutie Mark Crusaders from also getting purple dragon cutie marks a few days later. Although originally disappointed, they were glad to be back crusading to find a different special talent. Everything was going well until the day before the first track meet of the season. The blue mare turned around and asked, “plot, what’s that?” The athletic stallion quickly went back to making cider, hoping that the pegasus did not see what he was looking at. A few minutes later, the contest was over. The increased speed of production that came from Trackstar’s amazing running ability had won the day. “Not bad,” Rainbow Dash said as she passed him with her wings partially outstretched.
The rest of the day was spent in celebration of the Apple family’s victory, with the citizens of Ponyville drinking all the cider from the competition. Under the influence of the cider, the mares and stallions were starting to loosen up. Rainbow Dash, on the other hand, almost never got to the cider in time, and she had clearly drunk more than she could handle.
“By the way, Trackstar,” she said as she went to get a refill, “you should check out the Daring Do books, the plot is amazing.” She walked seductively away from him, giving the athletic pony ample opportunity to admire her flank. Flustered, Applejack said, “Don’t use your mathematics to muddy the issue, we won because our friends came and helped us. Anyhow, you won’t mention to anybody what I said about Big Macintosh last night, we only experimented a few times when we were younger. There was no one else around on the farm so we didn’t have many options.” Trackstar nodded his consent to keep silent, much to the relief of Applejack. He was just too excited to see Rainbow Dash again.
Trackstar had to wait, though. All of the students from Ponyville had arrived, and so did the team from Phillydelphia. A few minutes before the meet started, Rainbow Dash slowly flew onto the field. She was wearing her softball cap and had her whistle on a necklace, but her hair was a mess. She was obviously still nursing a bad hangover from last night.
“Hey Trackstar, let’s get ready to coach the team, this is going to be one tough competition.” The silver- coated pony nodded his agreement and looked on as the first of the events began. Spike and Sweetie Belle were the racers for the distance run. Spike had obviously trained very hard, and was eager to show it. While he won the race, Sweetie Belle came in third. As the citizens of Ponyville cheered Spike on, he winked at Rarity, causing the glamorous mare to swoon. Next came the throwing events. While Snips and Applebloom gave a good account of themselves, it was not enough to defeat the strong pegasi and earth ponies on Phillydelphia’s team. The team next competed in the sprinting events, but Sweetie Belle and Applebloom got second and third place. A fast pegasus slid to the finish line a few inches faster than Sweetie Belle, just earning first. It was Scootaloo’s turn to do the high and long jump, but she was very nervous about performing.
“Don’t worry kid,” said Rainbow Dash “I know you can do this, you just need a hop, skip, and a jump.” With encouragement from her hero, Scootaloo won both events. The final event was a relay race. As the ponies ran, Rainbow Dash got the crowd to cheer for the home team.
At first they did not cheer loudly, so she shouted for them to cheer with more passion. After inhaling a deep breath, the crowd roared, “YAAAAYYY!!!!” Though the race was close, Applebloom finished strong and the victory in the relay meant that the Ponyville team won the track meet.
Rainbow Dash and Trackstar took the ponies to Sugarcube Corner to celebrate their first win of the season. Pinkie Pie of course did not mind getting a party together last minute and baking a large number of cupcakes. Not bothering to ask what those favors were, the cyan pegasus asked, “do you like these books as well?” This was a foolish question, for of course Trackstar loved books about adventure and feats of athleticism. They talked for a long time about Daring Do and other things, and eventually they were the last two customers in Sugarcube Corner.
“Do you want to go someplace and continue to talk?” Trackstar asked as he got up to leave.

“I don’t know about that, Fluttershy keeps telling us to stay out of her shed,” Rainbow Dash responded. But for some reason she followed Trackstar to the shed, eager to spend more time with this amazing stallion.
