Okaaaay... Now What?View OnlineOver the RainbowOkaaaay... Now What?Rainbow Dash lay down on the mattress. The alicorn stared down at her and frowned. She levitated a dust clipboard, papers attached, and jotted down several lines of notes. Rainbow stared up at her and flexed her wings. She waited patiently for her friend, hoping for some good news. The last thing she needed was to be held back from her daily exercise plan for whatever reason. The lavender pony looked away from the clipboard, dropped it down stiffly. Rainbow's tail flicked uncontrollably and she started to sweat. The two stared at each other until the sound of thumping came from downstairs. The cyan mare jolted upright and ran down the cloud steps as fast as possible. She suddenly stopped, seeing Tank on his back- er, shell, with his feet in the air. Rainbow's eyes then shot towards the kitchen cabinet, which was swung wide open and a jar of daffodil cookies spilled on the counter below. Rainbow rolled her eyes, picking up the tortoise and setting him on the dining table. "Twilight! Tank's eating again!" Rainbow yelled, just as she came downstairs. Twilight shook her head and put a white capsule in the pony's hoof. She turned towards the door and trotted to the door. "I'm sorry, Dashie, but I think Tank really needs to see a veterinarian. She can't be stuffing herself all of a sudden for no reason. If this happens once more, notify me. Okay?" She said turning to Rainbow Dash. She nodded sadly and trotted to the front door, to close it behind Twilight. She heard a crunching noise and turned to see Tank's head in a potato chip bag. It was almost noon, and Dash had many errands to run before then. She finally reached a shack with a rusty sign above it. Some letters were missing and the lights flickered from the inside. She sighed, trotting in and slamming the wooden door close. She looked around at the metal chairs and T.V screens. The counters were dusty and faded to grey, with gum under the tables. She waited in line, noticing a familiar pegasus in front of her. Rainbow's mane might have turned grey and her eyes smaller than pins as she stammered, "F-F-Flu-" The yellow pegasus turned around, smiling. "Oh, hello, Rainbow! I was just picking up some salad for Angel. He has been very picky today. Hey, have you always been that sweaty?" She asked, seeing sweat pool at her hooves. Rainbow's jaw dropped and she was clearly blank, which Fluttershy didn't seem to notice. "Ooh! Are we playing charades? Um. oh-okay.. uh let's see here... Um a whale! No large mouth... um... Oooh! I got it! A turkey!" She cheered. This seemed to snap the rainbow-maned pony out of it. "Oh, uh yeah! That's right! Heehee... ummm I was only her for uh... PAPER BAGS!" She shouted, getting attention from most ponies in the shack. She whimpered and sunk down, the line moving ahead. Fluttershy tilted her head, her mane tossing to the side. Brushing it away, she said, "Um, paper....bags?" This made Rainbow sweat heavier, and a grey mare, known as Derpy handed- um, hoofed her a towel. She nervously smiled, realizing two of her friends where here. "I got em' for uh, Derpy! YEAH, a birthday present. An early one! Heeeheh..." Rainbow said, staring at Derpy. She trotted to the cashier and came back with a hooffull of paper bags. Derpy stared at the bags as if it were heaven. Then, she scooped up Rainbow into a tight hug and squealed. "Oh, Dashie, you shouldn't have! These are... wonderful! YOU MADE ME SO HAPPEEY!" She shouted, pulling Rainbow closer. She pulled the cross-eyed mare away from her in disgust of her 'wimpy bear hug' which nearly strangled her, and nervously smiled. "Riiiiight.... um, yes, sure... now go away. Get, get movin'!" She said, using her head to shove Derpy out the shack. She waited a good twenty minutes or so until Fluttershy waved good-bye with her hooves full of lettuce in bags and some tortilla chips in another hoof. Rainbow quickly ran toward the counter and a black pegasus trotted out to greet her. "Good afternoon, miss Dash. Regular, I see?" He asked. Rainbow nodded and put her bits on the counter. The stallion nodded back, taking the bits into a cash register. The passed her a large box and a receipt, waving to her as she left. As she got home, Tank was sleeping on the same spot on the table. She looked around her. No food in sight. She trotted to the bedroom upstairs and lay the box down on the desk next to her T.V stand, and turned it on. The news channel was on, and a notification came from the bottom reading that a channel would be auto-tuned in an hour. Suddenly, a knock came at the door.
Scoot on Over, and Pass the Sparkling StarsView OnlineOver the RainbowScoot on Over, and Pass the Sparkling StarsRainbow Dash lazily trotted to the door. She moaned as she reached the stairs. "Soooo many steps! Why must this world do this to me! I just trotted a two whole blocks to that shack, now this? Grr, fine..." She growled to herself and trotted down the five steps to the front door, pass the dining area. Swinging open the door, she saw both of her very best friends, Twilight and Scootaloo, along with another filly named Golden Chain and Spike. Twilight stared over to the table as she walked in, seeing Tank snore, on her shell, yawning. Looking up, she spotted one of the chains from the chandelier hanging down. Taking this chance right away, Tank bit in it with her little tortoise teeth and swung herself to the kitchen counter. Seeing that Twilight had already looked away, she put her mouth on the cabinet handle and crawled inside. She started tearing several bags of chips, boxed cider, and some food Rainbow forgot she even had up there. Tank was enjoying the moment, and even more, knowing that Rainbow had completly forgotten about this very cabinet. Scootaloo put down her bags down next to the table and sniffed it. Golden came over and unfurled her wings. She flew up to the table, carefully landing on it. She noticed that Tank wasn't there like Rainbow said. "Uhm, Rinbow Dash, where's your... um... guinea pig?" She asked getting an annoyed look from her. Rainbow face-hoofed. "It's a tortoise, and I though she was right... Sweet Celestia Buck me..." She mumbled. Twilight started taking the pillows off the beds and couches. Scootaloo then heard a crunch noise in the kitchen, so she trotted there. Scanning the chairs and rug for the missing tortoise, she found a few crumbs next to the stairs. and leading towards the dining table. She grunted. "Ugh, back to square one... again!" She said, folding her hooves. "Well, why don't you just ask for clues, instead of eating them?" Spike said, watching Scootaloo lick the potato chip crumbs. She got her toungue stuck in a small hole under the stairs and she tried tugging it out. "Bat It tashes show guud. Now shelp meh or your'll wegwet dish!" She tried, still tugging at her tongue. Spike rolled his eyes, and sat on Scootaloo's back, pulling her head back. Suddenly, Rainbow trotted down the steps, accidentally stepping on the filly's tongue. She yelped, and with a loud *POP* sound, her tongue was free... and swollen..... Rainbow waited for the ponies to all go downstairs for dinner as she ran up the steps, waiting for her show to start. She locked the bedroom door and sat down on the bed with Tank in her hooves. Tank smiled slightly as Rainbow fed her some chips. She ripped open the box and smirked as she looked inside. Tank stared in, at the case of fizzy cider. (In this case, I mean it was soda in the form of cider.) She took out a can, setting it next to her and opened the bags. Inside were mustard hot dogs, pink lollipops, and a rainbow frosted batch of cupcakes with a purple heart on top. She left alone the last bag for later as she hoofed Tank a cupcake. The channel auto-tuned to a Daring Do movie, which had just started. Rainbow started lifting some weights as she waited for the intro for the movie to end, and the movie to begin. Tank was halfway done with the cupcake, but stopped as the two heard a heart-stopping sound from downstairs. "Hey, Rainbow! Done with dinner!"
Escape..... Or not...View OnlineOver the RainbowEscape..... Or not... Rainbow choked on the present cupcake in her mouth and turned her gaze to the nearest window. She stared at Tank, as she continued staring blankly at the T.V. Unsure what to do, the cyan pegasus swiped IP the tortoise and knocked her head into the window. From downstairs, the ponies had been calling Dash to come down to eat. Unfortunately, no answer came. Worries, they split up in search for their friend. Twilight pointed a hoof towards the stairs and the rest followed. Ater a good five minutes, they searched the upstairs bathroom. Rainbow's head couldn't fit through the small opening in the window. She rubbed her head and moaned, then trotted back to the door. She crouched down, her head to Tue floor, flank against the door. "3...…... 2............ 1........ Charge! Ahhh....ow..." She yelped, banging her head into the window again. Hearing this, Scootaloo galloped towards Rainbow's bedroom. She lifted her hooves up, knocking the door heavily against the door. "Rainbow Dash, open up!" She asked, her voice raised a bit above a whisper. She took her scooter and swung it back, launching it on the door. Tank was in Rainbow's arms, uncomfortablebly, She Nuzzled Rainbow's fur, getting her attention. "What's it, Tank? Ohhhh um. We should get that." Rainbow said as Tank motioned towards the box of fizzy cider and food. Tank got their as fast as possible, which was like a half inch per second, and after a minute, she nudged the box off the bed. Another minute passed and Rainbow got hold of The box, laying Tank in there. Rainbow sealed the box, making sure to not have her hooves over the small holes. Tapping her chin with a hoof, Rainbow wondered where she would escape to, or who she could safely stay with. Her. Thoughts were interrupted by a *Snap!* sound from the door. Her head jerked as she turned around in shock. One of the metal hinges on the door has, and a piece of wood was on the floor. It was slightly chipping, but Rainbow didn't mind that. Only glad she had her cloud door replaced for wood and metal. Looking frantically around the bedroom, her eyes fell on the closet. She quickly jumped inside, slamming the door. "Where is it, where is it?! Err, oh here it is. Phew." She said hauling out an old chair she had as a filly. Tank watched curiously as she closed the door, taking out a small chair. Rainbow held the legs of the chair, the frame out the small window opening. Scootaloo was just about to give out, when she heard the sound of creaking. She jumped onto her damaged scooter, and like tarzan , she leaped off, in full blast, launching herself on the door. Another hinged broke off. The door could slightly open, only enough to see the T.V. Looking outside, Rainbow Dash lay a hoof on the lever. She, Tank, and the box were on the chair legs. Giving a nervous glance at Tank, she looked back to the window. She counted down quietly... "5...... 4......." Scootaloo snatched a curtain hook, holding it in her hooves. She got on her scooter, as if she was about to joust against the door. One hindlegs on the floor... Rainbow gulped, sweating and panting at the same time. Was she really going to launch herself and her pet off a cloud mansion, at least 50 feet from the highest tree to the ground? Duh, yes! "3....... 2..........." Scootaloo pushed her hoof heavily to the cloud flooring. This was it, the big finish. Certain hook in hoof... "2...........1............" Aaaaand... Charge!!! Scootaloo pushed her scooter forwards, the air against her fur. Hook in one hoof, other holding handle. Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash yanked that lever, and the window flew open, the chair flying through the sky, downwards.
