An Anthology of Luna and Celestia
Memories of Stella
This was originally supposed to be its own story and what actually started this whole thing. Who is Stella? I have an idea who she is, but it is really up to you who she is. Highlight to see what I think she is --> I see her as the disciple of Luna, Child of the stars.
This poem is a Free Verse. I meant it to be a lot longer, but lost my train of thought
Lone Moon
This poem was a Quatrain merged with a Couplet, though now I can't even tell what part the couplet was. This is again up for you to decide what it means.
The Soul and the Heart
This is a haiku that is very minimalistic and simple. This came really easy for me
The Stars and the Moon
This poem was two quatrains I put together, simply because it made more sense that way. This is very clear what it is. Princess Luna talking with an unknown pony, trying to find a companion, but the unnamed pony pushes her away.
Jealousy
This is what I think Luna felt before Nightmare Moon and what made her turn into Nightmare Moon. This is a Long Haiku that goes 3, 5, 7, 5, 3
While it starts out in confusion, I felt venom by the end
Young
Two Quatrains, my favorite. This is a discussion between Celestia and Luna about their youth
An Anthology of Luna and Celestia
Memories of Twilight
In my mind, Stella is Luna's version of Twilight, though their relationship is a bit more... confusing. Seeing as I did a poem of Luna remembering Stella, I felt it was right for me to do the same for Celestia. This poem takes place well after Twilight has pasted on.
Palace
This is a hard to explain poem. Though Celestia has a very long life, by the end it reveals that she doesn't want to waste any of this life, but she doesn’t want to interfere on anybody else’s life. This takes place after she took Twilight on as an apprentice (she’s a lot more relaxed) but before the return of Luna.
An Anthology of Luna and Celestia
This is my biggest poem (so far). After the original, there will be a clearer, but edited one. After the edited one, I will explain how this came about and break down every part
Rising the sun
Sister, are you there?
I lie awake, watching the sky
Hoping, nay, knowing you are doing the same
How has time been for you?
The children sleep, the students study
Readying for tomorrow’s sun
I’m sorry I let you feel this way.
I watch the stars twinkle
Contrasting the night sky
Have either of you maintained power?
My headache breaks through my defenses
Destroying my concentration
I know you’re still there and I shall wait for you
I grit my teeth through the pain
Though I feel bile coming up, I can’t abide to the stress
Time has dragged on, slower every second for me
I leave the balcony to go to my room
Looking in the mirror, I see the impact of 200 years
I know you haven’t, but perhaps Stella still has weight in the universe
The true damage of the years is not in the appearance
But in the mind
It’s nice to hope that I’m not so alone
I see visions now, of both past and future
Both scare me, but what truly scares me is
Do you suffer how I suffer?
The thought of being alone forever
You not returning, either to home or your mind
I hope not, even I can barely handle it.
I return to the balcony
In time for the sun’s ascent
On a lighter not, how do you pass the time?
I use my magic to push the sun further
But the pain splits my head
Can you feel my pain?
Not allowing myself to collapse
I push farther, harder.
I can feel your boredom
No one is awake yet, save for a few guards
This is to my liking, for I want nopony to see my pain
Your mind pacing, thinking of the intricacies of our existence
My eyes squint, I push hard to stand
Push even harder to keep my eyes open
Thinking of why we exist, why we are powerful
Seeing the sun, I know I have succeeded,
Until tomorrow at least
We suffer in two hells
Yours of boredom
A hell that only allows thought and loneliness
Mine of pain
A hell that only allows grief and loneliness
Who truly suffers?

About Rising the Sun
About Rising the Sun
Excluding the last 6 lines, the first of every 3 lines is dialogue of Celestia’s, imagining she is talking with Luna, with the other two lines being an action of Celestia’s at a different time.
Example
Sister, are you there? ---- Dialogue of Celestia
I lie awake, watching the sky ---- Action of Celestia’s
Hoping, nay, knowing you are doing the same ---- Action of Celestia’s
The last 6 lines is Celestia wondering near the end of Luna’s punishment who she was really punishing.
This was my first really long poem, thought up in one of my many sleepless nights. Thank you for reading my greatest poem so far, inspired by the princesses of the sky.
An Anthology of Luna and Celestia
Memories of Stella
As I gaze upon the stars
I can see no constellations
I can only see your face in the navy sky.
I can't help but hope that you
Your beautiful soul has defied time
And you and I can still be together
Every flower I see reminds me of you
Though this infects me with sorrow,
I am glad I have not forgotten
Those that matter most
Lone Moon
As the moon ascends
My heart descends
heavy with the knowledge
That as I sit upon this ledge
Only now am I truly alone
Resting upon this gray throne
The Soul and the Heart
The sun in the heart
Nopony can be without either
The moon is the soul
The Stars and the Moon
Are we really so different?
I the moon, you the stars
Both creatures of the night
Only separated by ancient spite
We are far from alike
I the stars, you the moon
Mine remain static
Night or day
You change and never stay long
Jealousy
We are equal
Yet the sun is holier
Than my moon, though they stand level
The night is feared
So fear me
Young
What was it like when we were young sister?
I can’t quite remember
I see you and I, but the rest is all blurry
The memory fades like an Ember
I can remember what it was like
That time left quite a mark
I remember us having fun, no complications yet
The memory only burns back brighter like a spark
