My Little Hedgehogs: This is a Bad Idea...

Hey guys Dark-Castle and The Author, the one and only, here to present you a small intermission gift to keep y'all busy until the sequel to this is up
Rainbow Dash soared through the air at high speeds as she ripped through the clouds and tore through the rainbows. She laughed gleefully as she had the time of her life practising tricks for the Wonderbolts, Dash began to sum up the courage as she began to climb higher and higher. Dash let the wind in her hair mess her up because she was entirely focused on what she was about to do, when Dash reached maximum altitude and was nearly in space, she looked towards the stars and the moon and said to herself, “One of these days, I will go higher than any other pony has gone before.” Dash reached for the moon as she slowly began to be pulled back down by her planets orbit. As Dash descended, she closed her wings and let the falling do the magic, she began to curl up and backflip and spin until she began to look like a spinning ball of rainbow. When she began to pass through the clouds, she re opened her wings and pulled up to burst into a multiple sonic rainboom. She soared over a lake to see the water fly up into the air and form a horizontal cyclone as she spun over it. Dash began to fly down the mountain side ad planted her hooves on the ground, she eventually came to a stop and the water that she was dragging behind her had turned into a thin layer of ice that harmlessly shattered against her. Dash stood there as she said out loud, “Whaddya think?” Dash looked around to see that there wasn’t anypony there to cheer her on. Dash looked behind her to see Ponyville as she said to herself, “Man it sure would be cool if I could have somepony that was as fast as me.”

Sonic stood victoriously over top of Robotnick after yet another successful day of hind whooping. Eggman panted as he slowly looked up at the gold flying hedgehog and said to him clasping his hands together, “P-please Sonic! Please d-don’t hurt me, I swear this time I wont do anything evil.”
Sonic continued to look into the glasses of the mad scientist as he begged at the feet of the blue hedgehog. Sonic learned from all the times this maniacal mastermind had tricked him to never trust him, but the good in his heart told him otherwise. Sonic got onto his knee and grabbed Eggman by the forearm and helped him up as he said with the bob of his head, “Listen, Eggman. I seriously think you should just try something else because honestly, world domination just isn’t right for you.”
Eggman began to consider what the blue blur was saying to him; he began to notice he never fully succeeded in world domination, much less defeating Sonic. Eggman hated the day where he would say this but now that it had come he had no choice, Eggman stuck out his hand as he said, “Sonic… you’re absolutely right. I’m not meant to destroy you.”
Sonic looked at the white glove for a couple of seconds before sticking out his hand for a shake as he said with a wink, “Glad you understand.” Sonic looked into Eggman’s eyes to notice he has never seen this man without those on, yet Sonic somehow knew him so very well.
Eggman’s expression quickly changed from the honest smile to his classic evil grin as he said with a snicker, “That’s why your old friend will do the destroying for you!” Eggman stood back to reveal a creature taking on the same shape as the blue hedgehog, only shinier and sharper. The robot slowly began to pace forward as the chaos emerald within it began to glow.
Sonic charged the machine as he said out loud, “You never give up do you?” Sonic curled up into a ball and rolled right into the metal doppelganger only to be bounced back.
Eggman began to chuckle and soon was belly laughing as he said in a large grin, “This isn’t the old Metal Sonic you thought you knew, no Mech Sonic has fully harnessed the capabilities of the chaos emerald and can now process two thousand times faster thanks to Apple’s new Quad core A-12 chips.” The metallic beast charged sonic and began to violently throw him around the room, its emotionless face watched as Sonic smashed into all the Tesla coils only to be electrocuted severely. Sonic flopped to the ground weak and shaking in all the limbs, Sonic could barely keep himself up as the iron clone threw its fists at Sonic over and over again. One final blow was delivered to Sonic and he was sent flying across the room, a small trickle of blood came from his mouth, despite all the harsh beatings he still managed to get back up. Sonic watched as the robot began to slowly walk towards the weak hedgehog when he heard the sound of a bullet ricochet off the head of the monster. The robot turned it’s head to see a black and red striped hedgehog armed to the teeth with the advanced weaponry G.U.N. had so generously given him.
Shadow stood there with his pistol drawn and growled from between his teeth, “No one gets left behind.” Shadow watched as he could see a sliver of hope come across Sonic’s face before the robot launched its fist at Shadow and hit him in the jaw. Shadow fell to the ground, unconscious but still alive. The robot turned its gaze back to the now standing hedgehog only to have to stick its finger out and send a jolt of 50,000 volts through the hedgehog to get him on the ground again. The robot kneeled to get closer to the hedgehog and with one final blow knocked the hedgehog out cold as well.
The robot looked back at its master and said to him in an electronic voice, “Now what?”
Eggman sat down in his chair as he said while thinking, “One mistake I have always made was underestimating that annoying duo. This time though I shall not screw up, Mech Sonic, I want you to dispose of these hedgehogs and make sure there is no chance of returning, there has been a recent supernova and a black hole has opened up, make sure you see them disappear before you consider them gone.”
The metal beast bowed before its creator as it said in its deep electronic voice, “Is that all?”
Eggman swatted his hand in the direction of the door as he turned away from the robot as he said, “Yes, be gone!” With no further commands, the self aware robot headed towards the door with the two hedgehogs in its hands. Its metal shined in the light as it dragged the black and blue quicksters down the long hallway before reaching the Escape pod. As Mech Sonic approached it, it punched in the code towards the black hole and looked down at the two hedgehogs.
The robot kneeled down and whispered, “In the last seconds of your life, remember this as not only your first failure, but as the beginning of a new era. The era of Robotnik!” The door slowly opened to reveal a small pod big enough for only a few passengers, Mech Sonic threw the two doomed hedgehogs inside to see them flop to the ground like ragdolls. Mech Sonic closed the door with the push of a button and the sound of air escaping could be heard before the pod broke off of the rest of the ship and was launched on its death course.
Sonic began to wake up with a groan as he said, “That twisted maniac just refuses to learn.” Sonic realized where he was and began to panic; he looked around to find the coordinates only to realize all there were were only a few seats and windows. Sonic looked out the window facing the Robotnic galactic armada and began to slam his fists on the windows. Sonic began to breathe faster and faster as he realized there was no way of escaping until he saw Shadow still had his small arsenal. Sonic picked up one of the silver pistols around Shadow’s belt and pointed it at the door hinges, it took a few seconds before Sonic finally summed up the courage to pull the trigger only to duck in cover as the bullet began to bounce all over the place. Sonic returned to looking at the door hinge only to see that his idea failed him, Sonic looked out the opposing window to see a small planet they were heading for. Sonic watched as the planet soon began to break off and the broken pieces disappear into nothingness. He watched in horror as the entire planet began to get sucked into this invisible body and immediately recognized it as a black hole. Sonic sat down in one of the seats as he stared out that window and said to himself, “Well… this looks like this could be it. Robotnik finally did learn after all.” Sonic looked at the super accurate watch he was given only to see the milliseconds were beginning to slow down, he began to feel himself stretching and began to shout in pain and in fear as he unwillingly accepted his untimely demise.
