Some royal sucker to take this little 'gift'." She smiled. She trotted inside, unnoticed and left the 'gift' on Twilight's bed. It was a mirror. She immediately dashed out before she could wake up, and ran away from the town back to wherever she came from. That very next morning, Twilight woke up to see the same mirror on her bed. "Strange." She walked into the dining hall where Spike and her friends are waiting for her, preparing breakfast for each other. "What's that you're holding, Darling?" Rarity questioned. "Some mirror. Did any of you give this to me?" They shook their heads, and shrugged. They all sat down and enjoyed some breakfast. "I'm serious, something's up with this. What- What the? There's an inscription in the back." "What does it say?" Fluttershy asked. "I don't know, it's so dusty and old. Let's see... With this spell, will this mirror come to life The Mirror Realm open, for chaos and strife For when this is read, chaos may unfurl Once the magic is cast, doom will come to all" At an instant, the mirror shined extremely bright, and the red gem above turned blue. There was a flash, and the mirror turned blue and swirly like...A portal. "Twilight?! What did you do?" Spike shouted in shock. "The Mirror Realm, whatever that is... It's-It's...Free. And it's all my fault." Twilight fell to the ground in panic, and cried. "I think I've seen something like that mirror before. Let me get the book about Forbidden and Legal Magic." She flew up, and moments later came down with a large book covered in gems. Pages flipped with her magic. The Crystal Mirror... The Alicorn Amulet.... Alicorn Transformation... The Mirror Realm! "Hm, here we go... The Mirror Realm, a chaotic and dangerous world where every last opposite pony of Equestria lives. The Mirror Realm hasn't been free in the last 1,000 years. But he didn't look even close to friendly compared with Princesses Celestia. "Yes, great Leader. I tricked some ignorant losers from the Mirror Realm to here. Do with them as you please, and soon you may have more." She bowed to Prince Solaris in evil pride. "This can't be happening. Why would some pony give me a portal to an evil Equestria? It doesn't make sense." Twilight whispered to her friends. "SILENCE YOU MULES! I control you all now, and unless you want to be banished to the sun, I suggest you do as I ask, slaves." The prince cackled. "Guards! Take them to the dungeon, and Moonlight, go to this other world and find the pony responsible for opening the worlds, they shall have a reward greater than themselves. Understand?" "Yes, your greatness." She vanished back into Equestria, leaving the mane 6 trapped in this other world. Twilight and her friends were brutally escorted into a cage in the dungeon. Chains were locked to their necks and hooves, magic locks were placed on Rarity and Twilight's horns, and RD's, Fluttershy's, and Twilight's wings got covered in chains also to prevent any ideas of escaping using flight. The guards smirked at them, and left. Making way for the prince to enter. "Well, well, well. Comfy? Ready to be controlled forever?" The mane 6 refused to reply. "I thought so..." His hooves clanked across the dusty jail floor towards them, making soft clapping sounds. "What's going on here? Do you really expect anypony to be your slave? Moonlight can't possibly serve an evil monster like you." Twilight struggled, but the chains kept her decently still. "She is an astounding actress isn't she?" He laughed. He put his hoof under her chin, and Twilight had an enraged look on her face. The room was dark, but dim enough to see his face if he was close enough to you. If I was ever to do acts against him, he would likely give me a death penalty, or lock me down here for eternity. That's how life is around here, your Mirror life must be fantastic compared to mine, same for the rest of our fair land." He frowned. Twilight slowly, painfully, walked towards Eclipse. "Where is Moonlight now?" "On her way to bringing back the pony who opened the worlds, they would be greatly rewarded by the Prince because now he can have thousands of peons and slaves to obey him with the rest of this world. His main ones are Moonlight's friends." "You dare tell my servants such information? I thought I told you to watch them, not give them the temptations of harmony. The Elements of Harmony were destroyed years ago, and harmony is dead." Prince Solaris entered, to see him talking to the mane 6. He was furious. "Go! Go! I've unlocked you all, go, close the portal, and destroy the mirror. This land might actually have peace for once!" Eclipse unlocks their chains. "GUARDS! Get them, get my slaves! Don't let them escape!" Solaris shouted, guards filing out private doorways. The Mane 6 run instantly and dodge the guards. The Mane 6 are dashing towards the Throne Room and jump in the mirror, just after Moonlight Twinkle runs through with the pony. Twilight tackles Moonlight, and runs back through. The Mane 6, now back home in Equestria, sigh in relief. The reflection of Eclipse appears in the mirror. "Don't worry fillies. Solaris was thwarted, and peace will return to the land. But, I'm pretty sure you know what you need to do, to ensure that." Twilight nodded. She holds up the mirror with her magic, breaks it apart a little, stomps her hoof on it, and slams it against the wall. It shatters into a million pieces, closed, from then on for all eternity.
