"Button Mash, it's time for school" Love Tap, Buttons mother called from the kitchen.
A few seconds later the brown colt walked into the room,wearing something on his maw. "I'm ready for school!" He announced cheerfully.
Love Tap narrowed her eyes. "Button, we talked about this. That belongs to your father. Give it back." The "it" in question was a small mustache that Button Mash had found one day in his parents room.
"I am not Button, I am-" Button pulled a semi-herioc pose "The Stache."
Love Top nodded "uh huh. Hey weren't you teaching Sweetie Belle how to speak Humgonian?"
Button Mash nodded eagerly. "Oh yes, she is a natural. Sweetie Belle can already swear like there is no tomorrow!" Love Tap frowned and Button smiled nervously. "Uhh... nevermind" he said, racing out of the house.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders were sitting in the back of the classroom, discussing what to do now. "I think that it's obvious, we help other ponies find their special talent!"Said Apple Bloom.
"Yeah, but there's like, one other pony who doesn't have their cutie mark, and he doesn't even really want one!" Scootaloo pointed out,flattening her ears. Sweetie Belle looked over her friends shoulder and waved. Button Mash excitedly waved back.
Miss Cherilee trotted into the classroom. "Good morning clas-" she trailed of, staring at Button Mash. "BUTTON MASH! What did I tell you about bringing your games into my classroom! This is the third time this week! Outside the classroom, right now, I need to have a word with you! Oh" her eyes flicked to the GameColt. "And I'm confiscating that too."
Sweetie Belle threw back her chair and stood on her desk. "You can't!" She cried. "Button Mash has to collect the last Gem Of Iodion to stop Angra, and to save The Land Of Goria!" Sweetie Belle was practically panting now, glaring at Miss Cherilee.
There was a stunned silence for a moment, until Button spoke up "I have taught you well" and gave his apprentice a nod.
"Sweetie Belle, though it was nice for you to stand up for your friend like that, Button Mash's game must still be confiscated" Miss Cherilee said, then placed his GameColt in her drawer. After thinking it over, she quickly locked it as well.
Sweetie Belle muttered angrily "sesa blien, ach sena mojara." Button Mash gasped at her language then grinned at his friends language.
"Huh?" Cried Scootaloo.
"Sweetie Belle, what does that mean?" asked Apple Bloom, confused.
Sweetie Belle started laughing and Button Mash joined in. Celestia, I love Sweetie when she is like this, Button Mash thought, wiping away a tear.

After Button Mash was exiled from the classroom, he pulled out the GameColt that Miss Cherilee had confiscated off of him. Scootaloo should of have gone into the thieving business, thought Button Mash, as he mashed the buttons.[pun]
Button was facing off against Angra. Angra shot a lazer beam at Buttons characters hooves. Button pressed the jump button. Nothing. He pressed down harder. Still nothing. It was broken. Button Mash's eyes filled with tears and he began to sniff. "Mom?" He called softly, then cursed himself. His mom wasn't here. He was just going to have to go into the lions den on his own. "Remember Button, whatever happens, you hold your ground."
Buttons looked at the GameColt and burst into tears instantly. "Noooo!" he sobbed, smashing his hoof down on the button. What happened next was hard to explain. The best thing to say is "Zap." Electricity mixed with some sort of green snake thing entered his body. Oww.... Button thought as he collapsed.
