Chapters "Last call for drinks! Last call for drinks!" A bartender with a nametag that read Joe called out to the empty bar to his knowledge. Still it was his job to say as so since time has come to the end of his shift: 4:00 am. He notices the empty bar, except for a few people around some tables. He wipes down the bar with a rag, humming a little tune and having a small smile on his face. The last remaining costomers were either leaving or passed out, one with their mug tipped onto it's side on the table, the remaining contents dripping to the floor. Amongst the dead silence besides the faint sound of country music playing from the stereo, came what sounded like a small sniffle. Joe heard the sniffle and looks up towards the direction it came from. There at a table to his right, a hooded woman, sitting while crying, her clothes speckled white from snow. He notices the women crying and walks over to her. The women's head pops up from the table.
"Who's there?" She asked.
"Excuse me, is something wrong?" Joe asked. The woman turns her head in sight of joe in his brown shirt and dirty apron. Those fetching blue eyes of his, partially hidden behind those blonde bangs for a short moment distracted her from her sorrow.
"Excuse me, is something wrong?" He asked again. With a shake of her head as to get her attention back on the bartender, she wipes her eyes of their tears.
"W-what?" She asks in a timid and rather shaky voice.
"I noticed that you where crying, so I came over to see what was wrong." He said.
"Oh." the woman replid, with an obvious worry in her tone as she turned back to face the table with a sigh. ""You have no idea," she says, staring down into the half full mug in her hands, although she may see it as half empty instead.
"Did something happen that you don't want to talk about?" He asked. The lady nods.
""I miss my dear sister..."" She said. Joe sighs.
"Family problems, I know how that feels." He said.
"But I may never see her again!" The woman whines, with tear filled eyes.
"Hey!" came another voice, belonging to that of a man, based on the deep tone. The creaking of the old floorboards signaled his approach. Joe looks at where the voice came from and sees a man slightly staggering towards them, the smell of booze coming off of him.
"Michael, not right now, go home you're drunk." He said.
"Man...that's not cool..." Michael replied, slightly diappointed as he wobbled his way out of the bar. The lady gives a long saddened sigh, propping her elbows up on the table, her chin on her hands. Joe looks back at the lady.
"I'm sorry for your sadness, is there anything that I can do to help?" He asked. The lady shakes her head.
"Not even I even help myself. Nopo-nobody can..." she said.
"There has to be something that I can do, I just can't leave you here all sad. It just wouldn't be right." He said. The woman takes down her hood and sighs, revealing a head of blue hair.
"Trust me...there's nothing you can do to get me back to her." She said.
"Well, at least we can know each other's names. My name's Joe, nice to meet you." Joe said, holding out his hand to her.
"Prince-...Luna...just Luna" The lady says softly, wiping her eyes with one hands, shaking Joe's with the other.
"Would you, like anything?" Joe asked.
"To go home..." she sniffed.
"Do you live around here?" He asked. She shakes her head.
"Farther than you could ever possibly imagine." She said.
"But, then that means that you have no home then." He said, frowning slightly. Luna rolls her eyes.
"I do, just far away. Real far..." she said.
"Well I know you have a home over there, I'm just saying what about now." He said.
"Homeless..." She sighed as a tear falls from her cheek.
"You can stay with me if you'd like, I got a extra room at my house." He offered. Luna shakes her head.
"I couldn't possibly." She said.
"Nonsense, I won't let you sleep in the streets. Besides, you don't know what's out there anyways." Joe added.
"An unfamiliar world..." Luna says without realizing the awkardness in the statement. Joe is slightly confused.
"What do you mean an unfamiliar world?" He asked. Luna sighs.
"Never mind..." she said as she turns her gaze back to her mug, gripping it tightly.
"Anyway, I can't just let you sleep out there in the streets, because it's snowing, and you don't know what's out there." He said.
"I guess you're right..." Luna sighs for a second time as she gets up from the table. "I just want to go home...I have responsibilitiess...big ones at that and...now my sister has to do hers and cover for me." She said, sadness in her voice. Joe smiles and places a hand in her shoulder.
"Hey, cheer up, I'm sure that you'll see your sister." He said.
"I hope so." Luna mutters quickly, removing Joe's hand from her shoulder. "So...are you going to take me to your place, then?" She asked.
"Oh yeah, sorry. Just let me grab my jacket real quick and we'll go." He said. Luna nods and goes to wait by the door, leaning against the wooden frame, arms wrapped around her lower abdomen. Joe runs back to the bar area and grabs his jacket. He walks back to Luna.
"You ready?" He asked. Luna gives a hesitant nod.
"Y-yeah." She said nervously. Joe gives Luna a reassuring smile.
"Hey, it's going to be all right, I'm sure that you'll see your sister soon." He said.
"Okay." Luna sighs heavily, following Joe out of the bar. Joe takes a deep breath, breathing in the cool fresh air as some snow falls.
"I hope you don't mind, but I walked here. My house isn't far from here." He added.
"So be it." She said. Luna shivered from having to be out in the cold again. "'s make it quite or I'll get frostbite. I've been out here quite long enough already." She said. Joe notices that Luna is shaking and takes off his jacket and places it over her.
"Here, this should help until we get to my house." He said. Luna shakes her head.
"No you have no protection." She says softly, placing the jacket back on Joe. "I'll be alright." She said.
"Nonsense, I can't let you be cold out here, besides, I've gone without my Jacket in this type of weather before. It looks like you could use it more than I can." He said. Luna sighs, taking the coat back.
"Alright." She said. Joe smiles as he walks towards the direction of his house.
"So what was your home like?" He asked.
"M-my home? It was great, everybody was happy and..." She said as a tear stings her eye, she looks away. "I'd rather not talk about it...it hurts too much..." She sniffed.
"Oh, um, I'll... just be quiet." He said. Luna's breaths become shaky as she fights back the tears.
"I bet this is how Celestia felt when I was...I..." she stops short, realizing what she was about to say. Joe stops just a little bit farther then Luna and looks at her with a look of worry.
"Luna?" He asked. Luna doesn't answer, so many thoughts flying through her head as she stares blanky out to the moon, lacking the image of her. Joe shakes her shoulder slightly.
"Luna?" He asked for a second time.
"What if I'm gone for another millenia?" She quietly mutters to herself without realizing it. "I can't go another thousand...I can't..." She sniffed. Joe shakes her shoulder a little harder.
"Luna, snap out of it." He said.
"Wha..." She said, shaking her head slightly.
"You had this far away look on your face. Are you okay?" He asked.
"I wish I could say I was..." She says softly, still gazing up at the moon. "L-let us keep going..." She said. Joe nods.
"Were almost there anyways." He said, pointing at a two story building with a balcony with a telescope on it.
"Okay." Luna said as she takes a deep breath and resumes walking. Joe grabs his keys from his pocket as they walk up to the front door. He opens the door for Luna.
"After you." He said. With a freezing shiver, Luna nodded and went inside. Joe closes the door behind them and flips a switch, causing the light above them to come on. Luna immediately takes a seat on the couch, at least hoping this man has no bad intentions.
"You're very kind for letting me stay, Joe." She said. Joe hangs up his jacket on a coat hanger.
"Please, I couldn't let you stay out there in the streets, especially since that it was partially snowing out there. And would you like me to hang up your sweater for you?" He asked. Luna shakes her head.
"No thank you. It's keeping me warm." She said. "My fur would have kept me warm if I didn't need this disguise" she thought to herself. Joe nods and walks over to the kitchen.
"Would you like anything warm to drink? I got hot coco, coffee, and tea." He offered.
"Tea would be nice, thank you." Luna said. Joe nods and gets a glass measuring cup and fills it up with water. He puts it in the microwave and sets it on for a few minutes. He walks back to the living room where Luna was sitting and sits in a chair.
"Is, there anything that you would like to know?" He asked.
"A way back home..." Luna replies, turning her head to gaze out of the window and up to the stars. Joe sighs and leans back in the chair.
"I wish I can help you there, but I don't know where your home is." He said. Luna sighs, deciding to finally spill the beans.
"I'm not of earth, Joe." She said, turning to look at him. Joe has a confused look about his face.
"Um, what?" He asked. WIth a sigh, a blue light envelopes Luna, lifting her into the air a foot as sparks went off. As the light died down, Luna came back to the ground, only now she was a blue coated equine with a long flowing blue mane, with a tail to match. Her eyes shown like stars in the night, a winged unicorn.
"Hear me, Joe. I am Princess Luna, and I rule alongside my sister, Princess Celestia over the world of Equestria! I am the ruler of the night, stars and moon!" She yelled. Joe blinks multiple times.
"Heh." He said, before his eyes rolled back, and he fell forward, the momentum causing him to fall out of the chair and out onto the floor. Luna gave a heavly sigh, moving Joe back into the chair with her magic. She then sat back on the couch, staring at her hooves.
"Oh, Tia...I miss you dearly..." She said.
MINUTES LATER
Joe stirs as he starts to wake up.
"Ugh... My head." He moaned.
"So your awake, now." Said Luna as she magically replaced the warm ice pack on his head with a fresh one. "You hit your head pretty hard on the floor..." She added. Joe looks over at Luna and his eyes widen.
"Please don't pass out again..." She pleaded. Joe takes deep breaths. Luna looks down with guilt, his reaction making her feel like a monster.
"I guess I'll leave, then..." She says sadly, turning towards the door, opening it with her magic as she approaches it. Joe quickly gets up.
"No, wait!" He yells, staggering a bit because of how fast he got up.
"If my presence causes you stress I cannot." She says sadly as she leaves, a tear falling from her eye. Joe runs after her.
"Luna, wait!" He yells again. Luna turns around.
"What?" She asked.
"Don't leave, please." He said.
"Fine, if you insist." Luna gazes down at the floor, draggng her hooves along the carpet as she went back inside. Joe sighs and walks back in.
"Luna, I'm just trying to help." He said.
"I know you couldn't help it, but fainting doesn't help..." Luna muttered before sitting back on the couch. "I'm never going to go back home..." She sniffed.
"And the reason why I'm not freaking out right now, is that my father taught me to never freak out, even at something new or never seen before." Joe said.
"Well you certainly fainted when I revealed my true identity..." Luna added.
"Yeah I was quite a bit surprised when that happened, I won't lie about that. But I promise you that won't happen again." He promised. Luna nods.
"Alright." She said. Joe has an idea.
"I know what might cheer you up a little bit." He said. Luna stared down at the floor, again unresponsive.
"If you'd like, you can follow me so that I can show you." He offered. Luna nods.
"Sure thing." she replied, getting up from the couch.
"It's upstairs, second door on the right." He said as he walked towards the stairs.
"Okay then." Luna responds, heading up the stairs. Joe takes his keys out again and unlocks the door as they reach it.
"Luna, welcome to my little observatory." He said. Luna looks around the balcony.
"So I see..." she said a bit awkwardly, noticing only a single telescope. "This is it?" She asked, pointing to it with a hoof. Joe chuckles.
"Yea it isn't much, but I just love the night sky. You can say it's a hobby of mine, to look at the night sky." He said.
"I've always enjoyed watching my night pass by up from the clouds. To gave me a sense of peace where I could just relax and forget about the stresses of life. But this sky is foreign to me...the moon is not mine and...the stars dont shine like the ones during Equestrian nights." Luna sighs sadly. "I bet my sister is worried sick about me." She sniffed. Joe places a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey, it's going to be okay, I'll be here for you, no matter what." He promised.
"But how can you trust me just like that? Who knows I could be somepony with bad intentions!" She yelled. Joe laughs.
"I know that you're not a bad person, or in this case, pony. I can tell it in your eyes. You're lost, sad, confused, and in need of comfort. No offense." He said.
"I guess it isn't everyday you come across magical talking horses from alternate dimensions, huh?" Luna chuckled to herself.
"That's true. And in this world, pegasi and unicorns are myths." Joe said.
"Well I happen to be a alicorn." Luna said with a smile, flaring her wings as well as lighting her horn to indicate both. Joe remembers something.
"Oh crap, I forgot about the tea!" He yells. He places his keys on a table and runs back inside. "I'll be back." He said. Luna gives a slight giggle before curiosity gets to her as she noticed the locket attached to the keychain had opened. She pick it up with her magic and stares at an image of a man she found to be Joe standing, smiling next to a long blonde haired woman. Joe comes back with a tray with two cups and a box full of different tea bags.
"I didn't know what tea you liked, so I brought the box." He said. He notices Luna looking at his locket. "Oh, um, I see that you're looking at my locket." He added.
"I don't mind what tea it is as long as it puts me to sleep. And yeah...who is this woman?" She asked. Joe places the tray on a table next to two chairs and sighs.
"She was my wife." He sighed.
"I'm so sorry..." Luna apologized. Joe sits in one of the chairs and sighs again, a look of sadness on his face.
"No, it's fine." He said. Luna sighs as well and puts a hoof on his shoulder.
"I'm sure she still loves you very much. She wouldn't want you to be sad I'm sure...just as I'm sure Celestia would want me to be strong as well..." She stated. Joe looks at Luna with a slight smile.
"Thank you." He said. Luna smiles back and pulls Joe into a gentle hug.
"No problem." she says softly, nuzzling his cheek.
"Now then, let's enjoy our tea." He said. Luna nods. Joe grabs a mug and makes his usual tea mix. He stares at the sky and sighs happily.
"You know, I did want to become a astronomer." He said. Luna smiles.
"Take my hoof." She says, holding a hoof out to him. "And look into my eyes." She said. Joe places his hand on Luna's hoof. Luna smiles and lights her horn. Soon the world around them fades and they appear in space, surrounded by stars, staring down at earth.
"How's this?" She asks kindly. Joe's mouth drops open as he stares at the stars.
"This... This is amazing!" He yells. Lighting her horn, she moves the stars around to create Celestia's face.
"Thats my sister." She said.
"So that's what your sister looks like. So let me guess, since your the princess of the night, then that makes you're sister the princess of the sun. And there is one question that bothers me." He said.
"And what might that be?" Luna asked.
"How am I still breathing, in fact, how am I still alive?" He asked. Luna giggled slightly at that.
"Magic!" she says pointing to her horn then to the bubble around them.
"Oh man, scientists would flip their lids to see this." He said.
"I bet!" She said, smiling. "Nopony in Equestria really pays too much attention to my night." Luna said looking down. "What's the point of being a princess and ruler to something nobody cares about..." She sniffed, turning her head down. Joe places quite hand on her.
"Hey, cheer up okay? I'm sure that there are some ponies where you're from that actually like the night and you just don't know it yet." He said.
"My sister, and my neice, Twilight Sparkle, but that's it. It makes sense nopony would like me." She sniffed.
"Need a hug?" He asked. Luna nods and hugs Joe.
"Thank you, for being so kind to me." She said happily.
"I couldn't let you be sad." He said, hugging back. Luna gives a sad sigh, tightly hugging Joe.
"I haven't had a friend in so long...I'm going to miss you when I have to leave..." She sniffed.
"I will miss you too when you leave." Joe said. Luna nuzzles his chest, not wanting to let go.
"We should probably head back, it's getting quite late and I bet you're tired." He said.
"I am tired..." She yawned. Luna lights her horn and they appear back on the balcony. "I guess I can take the couch." She mutters before heading inside.
"Wait, how about you take the bed in the guest room It's the third door on the left." Joe said.
"No, it's fine, I promise..." She yawned as she changed back into her human disguise as she lays on the couch. Joe nods and grabs a blanket and a pillow for Luna.
"Here you go." He said. Luna nods a thanks, taking them and covers herself up. She smiles softly at Joe. Joe smiles back.
"Sleep tight." He said.
"I hope so. Goodnight, Joe." She says as she closes her eyes. Joe yawns.
"Night, Luna." He said as he walks upstairs and enters his room. He tosses his keys on the table next to the bed and flops onto the bed falling asleep before he even hits it.

Joe is standing outside on the balcony, his hair is a mess, a cup of coffee in his hands as he tries to stay awake, looking at a scar on the mountain a forest fire did four years ago. Luna was Just starting to wake, she stretches her arms.
"Morning Tia." she says groggily before opening her eyes to see Joe's living room. "Oh...yeah..." she muttered. Joe yawns as his head nods. He shakes his head and takes a sip of his coffee.
"Need... more sleep." He mutters. Luna lays there on the couch, staring aimlessly at the ceiling. Joe walks back inside and closes the door behind him.
"I wonder what Tia is thinking..." Luna sighed. Joe walks downstairs and notices that Luna was up.
"Morning Luna." He said. Luna notices Joe and smiles slightly.
"We bid thee good morning as well." She said. Joe smiles.
"I see ye speak ye old English." He said.
"We do." She said.
"Well, that language died hundreds of years ago here." He said. Luna tilts her head slightly.
"Hundreds? Been thousands in my world." She chuckles. "Time really flies for me to be thousands of years old." She said. Joe chuckles as well.
"Would you like some coffee, Luna?" He asked.
"I'm not a big fan of coffee...I prefer tea." She said. Joe nods.
"Okay. Want me to make some tea for you?" He asked.
"Oh...you don't have to..." Luna said.
"What about breakfast then?" He asked. Luna shrugs.
"I...I don't want to impose..." She said.
"Nonsense, it's I bet you could use some food." Joe said.
"I...I guess so..." she says as she sits up with a yawn. Joe smiles and walks towards the kitchen, humming a little tune. Luna slowly gets up from the couch and follows Joe into the kitchen.
"If you're cooking for me, I can at least help you." She said. Joe nods.
"Okay, how does hash browns and omelettes sound?" He asked. Luna smiles.
"Sounds wonderful." She said.
"Would you mind grabbing some eggs from the fridge, while I take care of the potatoes?" Joe asks as he grabs a potato peeler from the drawer next to the sink. Luna nodded and made her way over to the sink, staggering slightly.
"Ugh, I'm not used to walking like this." She said. With a quiet pop her tail appears and she gives it a few swishes. "Better." she smiled as she made her way to the fridge. A loud gasp escaped her lips at what she saw.
""J-J-Joe! You never told me you eat meat!" She said, her voice showing fear. Joe stops peeling potatoes and looks over at her.
"Oh, yea, I forgot to tell you, that humans are a omnivorous species." He said. Luna sighed.
"A warning would have been nice!" She yelled. she holds a hand to her mouth as she quickly gets the eggs and bacon and shuts the fridge. Joe has a sheepish look on his face and continues to peel the potatoes.
"Sorry." He said. Luna swats at Joe's leg with her tail.
"Silly filly." She said.
"So, Luna, since I have a day off today, how about our take you around, see the sights." He said.
"Oh, sure! But I have to keep my tail...kind of can't walk without it..." Luna said. Joe nods as he puts the chopped potatoes in a pan.
"Okay, and if anyone asks, we can just say that you're just cosplaying." He said. Luna nods.
"Of course." She said. Joe smiles as he adds some salt and pepper to the potatoes.
"Also, sorry if I look like a mess, not exactly a morning person." He said. Luna giggles.
"My mane...er...HAIR is a mess too."" She said. Joe laughs.
"I guess we're both not exactly morning people." He said. With a smile, Luna gently leaned against Joe's side, wrapping her tail around his waist.
"You're a good friend, Joe. I'm really going to miss you when I leave...if I ever do..." She said. Joe blushes slightly, but smiles.
"I... I will miss you too, Luna." He said. A small sniffle escapes Luna as she pulls him into a tight hug, burying her face into his chest.
"I do not with to lose another friend!" She sobs, wrapping her tail tighter around his waist. Joe is shocked at what's happening, before hugging Luna.
"Its okay, I'm here." He said. She grips the back of her shirt, wetting him with her tears.
"Let it all out, Luna." He said. As she finishes she pulls away, blushing madly.
"I'm sorry...I feel so rude..." She said. Joe shakes his head.
"No, no, it's okay, you needed to let that out." He said. Luna smiles slightly as she wipes her eyes.
"Thanks at least for being there for me." She said happily. Joe smiles back.
"No problem." He said. Luna's tail began to way a little as she wiped her last tear with a smile. In other words, she must have looked rather adorable. Joe smells something burning slightly.
"Ahh, the potatoes!" He yells. Luna couldn't help but giggle.
"Silly you." she said with a nuzzle to Joe's cheek. Joe turns off the stove and sighs with relief.
"Saved them." He said.
"That's great news!" Luna said happily.
"They're a little burnt on the edges, but should be fine." He said.
"Good." Luna said as she smiles and watches Joe prepare breakfast. Joe places the omelette and the hash browns on plates and places the bacon on his.
"Luna, would you like some orange juice?" He asked. Luna nods.
"Yes please." She replied awkwardly, eying Joe's bacon. "Poor pigs..." She said. Joe sighs as he opens the fridge.
"It's a part of life." He said. Luna scoffs.
"So you kill pigs just to eat them? As a part of life?" She asked angrily. Luna turns away and walks out of the kitchen, an angry look on her face. Joe shakes his head furiously.
"No, no, no, I don't kill them, the butchers do that. I would never harm an animal." He said. Luna didn't hear as she entered the bathroom with the door shut. Joe sighs and sits on a chair, holding his head in his hand.
"Why did I have to say that, that makes me sound like a total fool." He muttered. Luna finds herself vomitting into the toilet Joe gets up from the chair, walks into the kitchen, grabs a glass of water, and walks towards the bathroom. Luna sighed heavily. Joe knocks on the door.
"Luna, I got you a glass of water if you need it." He said. Luna opened the door and took the glass.
"S-sorry for blowing up at you like that...I feel aweful now." She said. Joe places a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey, it's okay, if it will make you happy, I won't eat the bacon." He said. Luna turned her gaze to the floor.
"Hey, it's going to be okay, I'm not mad at you." He added. Luna hugs Joe and rests her head on his chest. Joe hugs back.
"It's okay, I'm here." He said.
"It's just so hard...I can't comprehend what Tia must be thinking or how she may be feeling...I miss her so much...my dear sister..." She sniffed.
"I will be here for you, luna, always." He promised. Luna smiled slightly as she closed her eyes. once again her tail began to sway.
"I do not wish to let go of you." She said. Joe nods and holds her slightly tighter, but not too tight. Luna gives his chest a nuzzle. Joe lightly rubs Luna's back.
"Nopony has ever showed me much affection or that they care...so this is a nice treat." Luna said happily. Joe smiles.
"I'm glad to be here for you." He added.
"I'm glad to be your friend. May I change to my real form? I don't like this disguise..." She said. Joe nods.
"If you want." He said. Luna smiled.
"Thanks." she said softly as a blue light surrounded her, leaving her in her true form as the light faded. She continued to hold on to Joe, feeling protected with him.
"Want to be held a little bit longer before we eat breakfast?" He asked. Luna nods.
"I like how you hold me." She said. Joe smiles.
"Thank you." He said. Luna nuzzles his cheek. Joe continues to lightly rub Luna's back. Luna smiles and wraps her large wings around Joe. As he started into Luna's eyes he felt something course through his body, like a spark. Luna sighed. Suddenly a sudden spark in her heart as if she had feelings for Joe. A blush of red appeared upon her cheeks as she snuggled closer. Joe sighs with happiness.
"I haven't felt this happy in a while." He added. Luna nods.
"Despite everything, I'm happy right now." She said happily.
"Shall we eat breakfast?" He asked. Luna nods again. Joe carries Luna as he walks back to the kitchen.
"Wow, you are strong!" Luna giggles, wondering how he can possibly carry her in her equine form. Joe smiles.
"Well, the jobs that I worked before I became a bartender required heavy lifting. They weren't the jobs that I wanted." He said. Luna lays her head against his chest and smiled. Joe smiles as well as he rubs Luna's back.
"Shall we be eating now?" She asked. Joe nods and grabs Luna's plate.
"Here you go." He said. With a smile, Luna levitated it over to her with her magic as she sat at the table, staring dreamily at Joe. Joe sits next to Luna with his plate and has a relaxed smiles as he looks at Luna as he eats.
"Now, I may not be the best cook, but it should be good." He added. Luna giggles and nuzzled Joe. Joe smiles as he eats, avoiding the bacon. Luna begins to eat as well, leaning on Joe's shoulder as she does so. She squirms her head under his arm and smiles. Joe looks down at her and smiles. Luna sighs contentedly, cuddling into Joe's side. Joe raises a hand and pets Luna's starry mane, feeling it as cool as the night sky. Luna smiles up at him, blushing slightly.
"Joe?" She asked.
"Yea?" He asked back. Luna looks at him nervously.
"Well...I-I was just w-wonder if...if you would uh...when I leave...would you want to...you know...come with me to E-Equestria?" She stutters nervously. Joe places a hand on Luna's shoulder and looks at her with a smile.
"If it will keep you happy and have a smile, I would love to come back with you." He said. Luna's eyes sparkled as she smiled into Joe's. Joe stares at Luna with a relaxed smile.
"I havn't felt this happy in a long time." He said for a second time.
"Neither have I." Luna replied, gently nuzzling Joe's chest.
"So, want to continue our sight seeing day?" He asked. Luna nods.
"Sure." She said as she she smiled, changing back to her human form, leaving her tail on though as she began to swish it. Joe smiles as he gets up. He holds out his hand out for Luna. Luna blushed and gently took it in hers. Her tail began to wag faster as her blush increased. Joe continues to smile as Luna stands up.
"I'll be right back, I just need to grab my wallet and keys." He said. Luna nodded, joyfully wagging her tail.
"Take your time!" She yelled. Joe gives a little two finger salute.
"Will do!" He said before heading upstairs. Luna sighs dreamily, staring where Joe had just stood. Joe enters his room while humming a little tune. He grabs his phone, keys and wallet from the desk and looks around, making sure that he has everything he needs. He opens up the drawer next to his bed and takes out a map of the state. He walks out of the room and walks back downstairs. Luna was waiting eagerly down by the front door. Joe comes down the stairs with a slightly worn out hat on his head, that he had since he was a teen. He stops at a table mid way and picks up a brochure. He then walks over to Luna, with his keys at hand.
"Ready, Luna?" He asked. Luna nods, and opens the door, fighting the urdge to hold his hand. Joe walks outside.
"Thank you." He thanked. Luna follows him and hugs his arm. Joe slightly blushes as he uses his keys to lock the door behind them.
"Sorry." Luna blushed. "I'm sort of a clingy pon..err...person now I guess.." she said. Joe looks at her with a smile.
"Its ok, Luna." He said.
"S-shall we be going?"" She asked. Joe nods.
"Sure." He said. Luna smiles. Joe smiles and walks towards his car. Luna followed, curious of the large thing in front of her.
"What kind if contraption is this?" She asked.
"Oh, it's called a car." Joe said.
"I can see seats inside...is it for transportation? It has weels too...is car short for carriage in your world?" She asked.
"Um, carriages havn't been used in over three hundred hundred years. They were discontinued in the early 1900's." Joe stated.
"Oh...I guess my kind is far behind yours in technology, then...so how do we get in?" She asked curiously, pointing to one of the doors with a flick of her tail.
"Here, let me get that for you." He said as he opens the passenger door. "After you." He said.
"Oh, um okay!" The lunar princesss replied as she took a seat. She then notices the dashboard.
"Wow...I feel like I'm in an alien spaceship, there's so many buttons and knobs!" She said happily. Joe gets in the driver's seat.
"Um, those are just for the air conditioning and radio." He said.
"Wait....you control the temperature from INSIDE the car!? You don't need to alter the weather itself!?" She yelled. Joe looks at Luna with confusion.
"Um, what?" He asked.
"N-nevermind..." Luna said, blushing. Joe looks forward and inserts the key into the ignition. The car starts with a small roar.
"EEK!" Luna gasped, instantly clinging to Joe's arm. "Wh-wh-what was that!?" She yelled.
"It's okay Luna, it's just the car starting." He said. Luna sighed heavily, a hand over her heart.
"Oh, thank Celestia!" she said as she tried to move away, but couldn't until she realized she had her tail was tightly wrapped around Joe's right forearm.
"S-sorry." she said as she removes it and gets back in her seat. Joe gives Luna a smile.
"It's okay Luna, you didn't know." He said. Luna sighs again.
"A warning would have been nice," she said with a giggle.
"Ok." He said as he lightly pushes the gas pedal. The car lurched forward and he drove out of the driveway. Luna fidgeted in her seat, uncomfortable having to sit on her tail.
"Our seats had holes in the back for our tails..." she said uncomfortably.
"I'm sorry if you feel uncomfortable, Luna. Shall I pull over so that you can get comfortable?" He asked. Luna shakes her head.
"I'll be fine," she replies, bringing her tail into her lap where she began to pet it. "J-just keep going..." She said, noticing many different loking cars.
"Why are there so many different looking ones? What's the point?" She asked. Joe looks at her, but still looks forward.
"Well, they all have a different function. Like mine, it's a family car, for driving or for fun with families. That truck right there," He said, pointing at a semi truck. "Is more for transporting goods and items to businesses and stores. Law enforcers have their own cars to catch anyone who is breaking the rules. Same with the military, they have their own vehicles." He said.
"What about that one?" Luna asked curiously, pointing to the car driving alongside Joe. The latest addition to the Corvette.
"It looks...fast." she said.
"That's for people who have a lot of money, to just show off how much they have. I don't exactly like people like that, too flashy." He said as they drive by a construction site.
"Oh...loud, isn't it?" She asked as they sped past. Joe chuckles.
"Yeah, but hey, they get the job done." He said. Luna giggles.
"I see. So...where are we going?" She asks. Joe hands Luna the map, including the brochure.
"Well, here's a map of the state. The state of Colorado. We can go anywhere you like, as long as it's not too far, okay?" He asked.
"I don't know." Luna replied with a flick of her tail. "I don't know any of these places...since I'm from another world and all..." she said. Joe has an idea.
"Hey, Luna, you said that your sister's name is Celestia, ya?" He asked. Luna nodded.
"Yeah, why?" She asked. Joe smiles.
"I know just the place were we can go!" He said happily.
""Equestria would be nice, but I know that won't be happening soon..." She said sadly. Joe looks at Luna with a reassuring smile.
"Hey, I'm sure that they're looking for you right now." He added. Luna looks down.
"Nopony will be. My sister at least." She sniffed. Joe was about to say something, when he notices that the gas tank is running low.
"Dang it, I need to refuel the car." He said. Luna suddenly began to have flashbacks of her time as Nightmare Moon, making he tremble and shake. Joe as he pulls into the nearest gas station, he notices that Luna was shaking.
"Luna, are you alright?" He asked. Luna doesn't answer. Joe turns the car off and shakes Luna's shoulder.
"Luna?" He asked a second time. Luna turns away in an attempt to hide her sobs. Joe still has his hands on her shoulder.
"Luna, if you want to talk about it, I'm here for you." He said. Luna shakes her head, hugging her tail.
"You'd hate me like everypony else if I told you..." she sniffed.
"I would never hate you, Luna, even if you did something bad in the past." Joe said.
"I...I just dont wanna talk about it..." Luna sniffled, leaning against Joe's shoulder. Joe pulls Luna into a hug.
"I won't force you if you don't want to talk about it." He said. Luna hugged him tightly.
"I feel as if I'm just being a burden on your life with all my crying..." she sniffed. Joe gives Luna a reassuring smile.
"You're not a burden on my life." He said. Luna sniffled and smiled slightly, laying her head on Joe's shoulder and wraps her tail around his arm.
"Thank you." She whispered. Joe smiles back.
"No problem." He said. Luna nuzzles his cheek.
"I'm happy to call you my friend." She said.
"Same here, Luna." He said happily. Luna sits back up in her seat, keeping her tail wrapped around Joe's arm. She smiles into his eyes, feeling the need to be held in his arms. Joe smiles.
"If you will excuse me, I need to refuel the car please." He said.
"Oh, okay." she releases her tail hesitantly from his arm. Joe opens the car door and gets out. He looks at her.
"I'll be right back." He said. Luna sat for a second, watching him leave before getting out as well, following Joe. She hurries up to him and hugs his arm.
"I don't like being alone..." she said quietly. Joe is somewhat surprised, but then nods.
"All right." He said. Luna let go and follows a bit behind him. Joe has his hands in his pockets and hums a little tune as he walks towards the building next to the stations. The feeling of being in a new world, full of things so foriegn to her, made Luna feel out of place. Joe as he comes to a pair of doors they open up as he comes near. Luna gets closer to Joe, staying at his side. Joe walks up to the counter and looks at the guy behind it.
"Hey Chris." He said. Chris, the store clerk looked up from his phone.
"Oh, hey, Joe! Uh...who's the pretty lady you've got with you?" He asked.
"Luna, this is Christopher, or Chris as he likes to be called. Chris, Luna." Joe said.
"Hi, there!" Chri said joyfully to Luna. "Is she your girlfriend?" He asks before laughing. "I'm kidding, I know how incapable you are of getting one of those!" He said sarcastically. Luna only stepped back and turned her gaze to the floor, unsure of what to do or say. Joe facepalms and sighs in irritation.
"Chris, why do you always say that, you know I like to help people out." He said. Chris shrugged. Luna rubbed the back of her neck as her tail flicked annoyingly. Chris just happened to notice it.
"Dude...does she have a tail?" He asked. Joe looks at Luna, before looking back at Chris.
"It's one of those cosplay tails, ya know, the real expensive types that look real." He said.
"It's real." Luna muttered. Chris gave an awkward toothy smile, tapping his fingers on the counter.
"Okay, then." He said. With the truth said, Luna began to freely sway her tail from side to side.
"So anyway, Chris, gas please." Joe said.
"Of course, Mojo jojo!" Chris says with a smile and goes to do as told.
"Joe, I'm gonna walk around a bit to browse." Luna said. Looks at Luna and nods.
"Okay, Luna. If you see anything you like, just tell me." He said. Luna hugs Joe quick before she begins to walk down the aisles. Joe smiles at Luna, before looking back at the counter and notices that Chris has a sly smile.
"What?" He asked.
"You like her, don't you." He said. Luna noticed an assortment of clothing hanging from the wall and decided to take a look.
"Well... I did take her in, because she is far from home. And stop getting the wrong ideas too." Joe stated.
"I know you like her." Chris said. Luna begins to go through the shirts and becomes shocked at what she finds. Joe sighs.
"Fine, I like her alright. She just makes me happy, that happiness that was gone since... since Nicole died." He said with a sad look.
"It'll be alright man. Maybe you can wipe your tears on her tail if you get sad!" He said, before laughing again. "Oh, I'm just messing with ya!"" He laughed. Luna's jaw quivers as she pulls down shirt with the image of her face morphing into Nightmare Moon's. Her breaths become slightly more rapid, her hands shaking. Joe smiles.
"Thanks man, you were always there to try and cheer me up." He said. Chris smiles.
"No proble-hey what's wrong with Luna?" he asks pointing to Luna who was sobbing softly as she held the shirt in her hands. Joe quickly rushes over to her side.
"Luna, what's wrong!?" He asked. Shaking, Luna shows him the shirt. Joe looks at the shirt and sees Luna's face morphing into a more vicious version of herself. He remembers her crying about something.
"Luna, is... is this what you where talking about that you didn't want to talk about?" He asked. Luna nodded, hugging Joe as she cried into his chest.
"I didn't mean to hurt all those ponies! I had no control!" she cried, gripping his shirt. Joe hugs back slightly tight.
"It's ok, I'm here. Let it all out." He whispered. Luna continues to sob, pleading she's sorry over and over. Joe looks and sees that Chris has a look of confusion on his face.
"From what I know, she has had a traumatic past that she doesn't want to talk about. Can you give us a few?" He asked. Chris nods.
"Tia had to banish me to the moon, and I was there for a thousand years, captive in my own body by that thing!" She wailed. Joe lightly rubs Luna's back.
"Shhh, let it out. I'm here for you." He said. After a moment she calms down, but doesn't let go of Joe. Without realizing it she had changed bac to her pony form and had her wings around him.
"Ahh, crap." Joe said. Chris's eyes roll back into his head as he falls over, unconscious. Joe looks over at Chris.
"Double crap." He said.

Luna sniffles, not knowing to the fact she's changed back. Joe looks at her with worry.
"Um, Luna?" He asked. Luna looks up at him and nuzzles his cheek.
"Yes?" She asked.
"You, um... turned back into a pony." He pointed out. Luna gasps and looks at herself.
"Oh...who's gonna care anyway?" She asked. She smiles and Joe. "I don't care unless you're here with me." She said as she lays her head on his chest.
"Um, Luna, if people see you while you're a pony, their going to call the police, who will then get the government, who will come an take you away from me." He added.
"What do you mean take me from you? Sound kinda like you like me...more than a friend." she winks her eye at him and pecks his cheek. Joe blushes.
"Th-that's not what I mean, I mean that they will take you away from me for good and probably find a way on how you're alive." He said.
"I know what you meant, Joe." She giggles and nuzzles him some more.
"Could you, turn back into a human so that no trouble can happen?" He asked. Luna sighs and turns back.
"Fine. I hate this..." She grumbled.
"I know, how about you turn back when we get home." He said.
"I wish I could go home..." She sniffed, looking at the shirt. "I wish everything would just go back to normal...I wish i wasn't so selfish before I became Nightmare Moon and maybe I might have never changed...I wish so many wishes I can't fix..." She sniffed. Joe pulls Luna into a hug. Luna smiles a bit, hugging back with a blush as her tail begins to wag. Joe looks over at Chris.
"We should probably put him in a chair, and probably have an ice pack for his head." He said.
"Maybe in a little bit, I'm snuggling." She said as she nuzzles Joes chest and smiles, wrapping her arms around his neck. Joe smiles.
"Okay." He said. Luna wraps her tail around his legs.
"You're the first friend I have had in so many years, Joe...I...I like you..a lot." She said, blushing and burying her face into his chest. Joe is somewhat surprised and blushes slightly.
"I... I like you too, Luna." He said. Luna sighs and pulls away.
"But it's wrong to fall in...like another species that way..." she turns away and looks down. "Why would you even like a monster like me anyway..." she sighs, still gazing at the shirt.
"You're not a monster, Luna. You're a person, or in this case, pony who is in dire needs of a friend." Joe said.
"But I am a monster...I...can we just go...home...Joe... " She sniffed, gripping his jacket tightly. Joe nods.
"Let me just fill the car up and then we will go." He said. Chris mumbles and gets up.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Okay." Luna said. Joe notices that Chris is awake.
"Hey man, you alright?" He asked. Chris sees Luna and rubs his eyes.
"Woah..." he said.
"I'll...just be in the...the car..." Luna said. Joe nods at Luna.
"Okay, I'll be out shortly." Joe said. He looks at Chris and holds out his hand to help him up.
"You alright?" He asked.
"She's...she's..." Chris said, taking Joe's hand and stands up. Luna sits in the car, watching Joe, imagining herself with him, but fails to see it ever happening. Joe has a slight look of confusion.
"She's, what?" He asked.
"N-nothing..." Chris said. Joe raises an eyebrow, before shrugging.
"Anyway, I'm gonna refuel the car and take Luna home, she's not exactly feeling well." He said.
"Okay, cool." Chris said. Luna pulls her knee up to her chest, rocking back and forth slightly, her mind aching from so much stress. Joe has an idea. He walks to the fridge and grabs a couple of pint ice creams.
"Hey Chris, I'm gonna buy some of these." He said.
"Just take em...I can't even think right now..." Chris said, rubbing his head.
"Tia...I'm sorry..." She mumbles to herself. "I'm sorry I'm not the sister you wanted...I screwed up...Why am I so useless..." She sniffed.
"Are you sure man, I can pay for these." Joe said.
"Just...get back to that wonderful mare of yours." Chris smiles a little without realising what he said. Luna shakes a little, wanting only to be in Joe's arms as of now. She looks out the window to see if he's even coming out. Joe deadpans.
"Don't. Tell. Anyone." He said, before walking out the door with the ice creams. Luna cries to herself silently in the car, wishing for everything to back to how they used to be, repeatedly apologizing to Celestia out loud. Joe notices Luna crying. He has a look over worry on his face. He opens the door.
"Luna?" He asked.
"Why must everything go wrong for me...what's the point of being princess when I can't even be there for my subjects...like they even cared about my night...I'm pretty much a useless nopony..." She sniffed. Joe places the ice cream next to Luna and places a hand on her shoulder.
"Luna, your not a useless someone, you have people who care about you." He said.
"Nobody cares about me...I don't see why you do..." She sniffed, looking down. "You got... ice cream?" She asked. Joe nods.
"I didn't know what you'd like, so I got a few." He said.
"I don't...know what to say...nopony has been so generous to me..." She said, somewhat shocked. Joe smiles.
"I couldn't let you be sad, I had to cheer you up." He said. Luna smiles.
"You always do." She said. She gets out and hugs him. "You always cheer me up, even if its for a moment, it's nice to have a smile." She nuzzles his chest. "You make me happier than I've ever been...even through all my stress. I don't know how you do it, but I'm glad to call you my friend." She smiles up at him. Joe hugs back.
"And I'm glad to call you friend too Luna." He said. Luna keeps the hug going, but wishes she could be more than friends as she stares mutely at her hands.
"I'm here for you, Luna." Joe said. Luna slowly reaches for Joe's hand and links their fingers, then wraps her other arm around his and lays her head on his shoulder, blushing. Joe warmly smiles at her.
"Can we go home now, Joe?" She asked. Joe looks over at the gas pump and notices that it stopped. He nods.
"Yes, let me put the gas nozzle back and we'll go." He said. Luna gets back in the car. Joe puts the gas nozzle back in the pump and enters the car. He sees Luna staring at the ice cream quite hungrily.
"You can eat the ice cream if you want, I got it for you." He said. Luna notices she doesnt have a spoon so she lets her horn show and conjures one from nothing.
"Thanks." She said happily. She starts eating, making her horn disappear and leans on Joe as she eats.
"Why are you so nice to me?" She asked.
"You remind me, of my wife. In fact, the same seat that I found you on, was the same seat I found her on. You bring me, happiness. Happiness that I havn't had ever since... ever since the accident." He said with sadness, looking down.
"Aww, is it my turn to hold you?" She said as she pulls Joe close and rests her head on his, gently stroking his hair. Joe hugs back.
"I'm sorry if I got sad, it just hurts so much." He said.
"Joe, You've been helping me be happy the whole time I have been here...I only want to return the favor." She said as she kisses his cheek and blushes. Joe is surprised and blushes. Smiles and hugs Luna slightly tighter.
"I'm here for you and you're here for me. Everything will be okay as long as we have each other..." She said, before pausing. "...I...made that seem like we're a couple..." She said. Joe laughs a little.
"That it did." He said.
"I wish we were..." she mumbles to herself.
"What was that Luna?" He asked. Luna doesn't say anything, but only blushes.
"Is something wrong?" He asked. Luna sighs.
"I...I want to be a couple...but I know I can...you still love her...it'd be wrong. Plus I'll end up leaving you anway when Tia comes to get me, if he does. Knowing her she won't let you come with..." She sniffed.
"Luna, if you want to be with me as a couple, then I wouldn't mind." Joe said.
"But..how can you just say yes? I...it doesn't make sense...why to me...of everybody..." She said in confusion.
"Anything to make you happy, Luna." Joe said.
"Joe I...Im flattered...but a mare like me isn't worth your time..." She said.
"Luna don't say that, you can be with whoever you want.". Joe said. Luna lays her head on Joe's shoulder. Joe smiles as he looks at her.
"Thanks for everything, Joe." She said, smiling.
"Hey, I couldn't leave you back at the bar." He said. Luna curls her tail around his arm.
"You're a wonderful stall...human..." She giggled. Joe wraps a arm around her. Luna smiles. Joe turns on the radio and the news comes on. Luna smiles up at Joe, keepng close to him. Joe smiles back at Luna.
"Okay, I'm sure we've all had our share of hearing crazy things in our lives," began the male voice on the stereo, "But I find this incredibly hard to believe!" He said.
"Yes, John, it certainly is!" came the second voice of a young female. "Well, from what we've seen was caught on camera at a local Kwik Trip gas station! What appears to be a tailed woman turns into a horse, crying onto her friend's chest!" She said. Joe's eyes widen and he looks at the radio in shock.
"Why are there voices in your car... and how do they know about what happened?" Luna asked.
"That's called a radio, it uses energy like waves to travel to the satellites in space to radio stations around the world. Others use giant towers to send out the waves." Joe said.
"In other words, the station turns the sound into music, which the satallites read and send it to your radio system if you're on the currect coded currency, where your system then makes it back into sound?" She asked. Joe looks at Luna in amazement.
"Wow, that's... that's amazing." He said. Luna giggles.
"Thanks!" She said.
"But now we have to lay low, because everyone knows about you now." He said.
"And the vehicle they left in has gone southbound on Freedom road!" The female news teller said.
"So much for that...why will it be bad if they find me? Why are you trying to hide me? I-is there something wrong with me?" Luna asked. Joe looks at Luna, slightly shocked.
"What, no! I'm not trying to hide you, nor is there anything wrong with you. And it will be bad that they... they... I don't want to say it." He said.
"What are we going to do Joe?" She asked as she looks down and runs her fingers through her tail. Joe sighs.
"I... I don't know." He said.
"Let's just go home..." Luna said, smiling at him. Joe nods.
"Okay." He said.
"I...I just want...You to hold me..." She said. Joe gives Luna a warm smile.
"Okay." He said as he wraps a arm around her again. Luna hugs his arm, nuzzling his chest. Joe lightly rubs Luna's mane as he turns the car down his homes street.
"Joe?" She asked. Joe looks at her.
"Hmm, yes?" He asked.
"Do your sun and moon rise and fall on their own?" She asked.
"Well, yea. The planet revolves around the sun, and the moon revolves around the planet. Does yours?" He asked. Luna shakes her head.
"Me and Tia had to raise and lower the moon at the start of every day and night." She said. Joe looks at her in surprise.
"Wait, you and your sister move the sun and moon on your home world!?" He asked. Luna nods slightly.
"I raise and lower th mooon and she raises and lowers the sun. You raise my spirits and lower my sadness though." She said as she kisses Joe on the cheek and nuzzles him, curling her tail tighter around his arm. Joe blushes slightly as he drives the car into his homes driveway.
"And you the same." He said. Luna hugs Joe tight.
"I know I'm not your wfe Joe, but since you agreed we'll b a couple, I'll try my best not to be such a downer...couples are supposed to be happy...right?" She asked, letting go of him and holding one of his hands. Joe smiles and nods.
"Yep!" He said. Luna nuzzles Joe once more before getting out. Joe turns the car off and gets out as well. As he was about to close the door, he notices that Luna left the rest of her ice cream in the car. He grabs the bag and closes the door. He walks up to the front door with his keys in hand.
"You almost forgot your ice cream." He said.
"Oops, silly me." She said as she smiles and takes it, gazing into Joe's eyes. Joe smiles as he looks at Luna, before opening the door.
"After you." He said.
"No, you." She said.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"How about this?" Luna said. She takes his hand in hers, pausing or a moment to allow the feel of his caring soul course through her veins before walking in with him. She she then closes the door, sets her ice cream down on the end table next to it and leans on Joe, smiling as she changes back to her equine form. Joe runs a hand through Luna's mane while smiling. Luna smiles and leans her head into his hand, gazing up into his eyes.
"I love you Joe." She said.
"I love you too, Luna." He said. Luna nuzzles her cheek into Joe's chest then flops onto her back in the middle of the floor.
"I request belly rubs!" She demanded. Joe laughs.
"Yes your highness!" He said, giving a small salute before rubbing Luna's belly. Luna gives a slight moan of relaxation and lays falt on the floor.
"I haven't had one of these in over fifteen hundred years..." She sighed happily. Joe smiles.
"You look so cute like that." He said.
"Cute?" She giggled. "I don't know about cute..I'm quite old...being thousands of years old...how old are you?" She asked.
"Well, I'm 31." He said. Luna giggles.
"I forget how old I am, but im far older than you." She said. She pecks his cheek, enjoying the belly rubbing and wraps her forelegs around him, pulling him close. "Looks at us! Cuddling on the floor!" She said as she turns onto her side and snuggles into Joe. Joe grabs Luna into a hug. Luna smiles, accepting it without hesitation.
"I've never cuddled on the floor before." She giggled.
"Same here." Joe said. Luna teleports them onto the couch.
"Much better!" She said, snuggling close to Joe. Joe leans his head on Luna. Luna lays her wings out over him and wraps her tail around his right leg, smiling.
"I've got me a special somepony. Somebody in this case since you're not a pony, but still." She said as she nuzzles his neck, being careful of her horn.
"And your my special somebody." He said as he boops Luna on the nose with a finger. Luna giggles and smiles at him.
"I could just fall asleep." She said. She closes her eyes as she lays half on him. Joe smiles and grabs the t.v. remote from the table next to them and turns the t.v. on. Luna wraps her wings around Joe and closes her eyes.
"Mind If I take a nap on you Joe?" She asked. Joe looks over at her and nods.
"Sure if you want." He said. Luna smiles and kisses his cheek, a bit closer to this lips this time.
"Thanks for everything Joe." She yawned. She curls up in his arms and falls asleep. Joe smiles at her and flips through the channels. Luna has a smile on her face as she sleeps. The news channel comes on, a helicopter is shown flying above Joe's home. Joe's eyes widen and he drops the remote.
"Oh shit!" He yells. Luna is startled awake.
"Wh-what's wrong, Joe!?" She asked. Job as a grim look on his face.
"The... the news people are just outside the house." He said. Luna peers outside the window.
"All I see is some big white flying contraption..." She said.
"And there it is folks!" Says the news anchor man on screen.
"That's... that's the news helicopter. I... I think you s-should get away from the window, Luna." Joe said.
"How is it flying without wings..." Luna asks, moving towards the window intsead, mesmorized by somehting so unbelievable.
""Look at that! Seems they're getting in for a closer look!" Says the anchor woman as the helicopter flies in closer.
"Oh, I see! It has a rotary engine which spins blades at such a speed the downwards force of air pushes the thing up! But what kind of power without magic would be needed to achieve such a feat!?" Luna asked in amazement.
"Well, it uses a type of fuel to work, like my car, but a different type." Joe said.
"Why is it so loud?" She asked.
""Well, we're getting calls and messages telling us this is apparently the cartoon character, Princess Luna, from the hit girls t.v show, My Little Pony!" says the anchor woman. Luna turns around, shocked.
"T-t.v show? What is she talking about!? How does she know me!? How am...how do they know about me!?" She yelled, staring in shock at the t.v.
"Wait, what!?" Joe yelled. Luna watches the T.V, seeing her own image pop up to compare to that of her on camera.
"They...you...know about me..." She said, scared.
"How the hell do they know about you?" He asked. Suddenly the screeching of tires could be heard outisde.
"Joe...I don't like this..." She said as she stays right next to Joe and puts a hoof in his hand. Joe holds her.
"I don't like this either." He said. There came knocking and a lot of chatter from outside the door. Joe's head starts to shake as he slowly looks at the door.
"J-Joe...don't open it...what if they take me away like you said? I don't know if my magic will work on them...like I even want to hurt them at all..." Luna sniffed. Joe looks at her.
"Don't worry, I will never let them take you." He promised.
"What are we gonna do, Joe?" She asked. She looks at the door as the knocking continues, causing her to sigh.
"Just go open it...the knocking is giving me a headache..." She said. Joe nods shakily. He stands up and slowly makes his way to the door. His hand shakes as he opens it.
"Hi there!" said a voice all too familiar to Luna through the snapping of photos and chitter chattering of the press behind her.
"Joe, who is it?" Luna asked as she peeks over to look from the living room. Joe sees a woman standing there, but is somewhat having trouble seeing due to the many flashes of the cameras.
"Would you mind coming in so I can close the door." He said.
"Sure!" Replied the woman, allowing in only two of the many camera men. "Where's Luna?" She asked. Luna walks back into the living room, her heart pounding in her chest. Joe closes the door, but doesn't look at the women.
"First let me ask you this. Who are you?" He asked.
"I am Lauren Faust. I am the lead developer of the T.V show, My Litle Pony! And it seems to be Luna just so happens to be here as I have seen and heard on the news." The women said.
M-mother!? Luna thinks to herself. How can that be, she's been gone for several millenia! Nor is she human! she thought. Joe still doesn't turn around.
"Are you here to take her away? Because if you are, I won't let her go so easily." He said.
"Take her away? Oh, please! I only wish to see her! It's not everyday your cartoon creations become real!" Lauren said happily.
What does she mean...cartoon creations? I'm as real as ever, not from a T.V show! Luna thought. Joe is slightly angry.
"Is that all she is to you, a cartoon?" He asked.
"Well, I never said she was! If she's real, she's real! I was simply implying I never thought that something I made would have actually ever existed...I guess I should have worded that better...so...can I see her? Please?" Lauren asked. Joe finally turns around, closes his eyes and sighs.
"Fine." He said.
"Thanks!" Lauren said with glee. She smiles as she slowly walks into the living room, whereas the camera men were trynig to rush in for a good story to put of the front cover of the magazine as well as money in their pockets. She sees Luna standing there in the middle of the room.
"L-Luna? I-is that really you?" She asked, taking a step forward.
"Who are you? Why do you sound just like my mother?" Luna asked, taking a step back. "How is it you know of us and Equestria?" She asked again. Laura sighs heavily.
"I uh...can see...there's going to be a lot...a LOT of questions being asked." She said. Luna furrows her brow in slight annoyance. Joe sighs again.
"I'll make some coffee." He said, walking towards the kitchen. Luna trots after Joe.
"Joe...I don't like these people in our house...the woman...she's making me uncomfortable...she has the same name and voice as my mother!" she whispers to him, sounding scared. Joe runs a hand through her mane.
"I know, but if we can show that you mean no harm to these people, the government won't come after us and take you away. Which means that you can stay with me." He pointed out.
"She said they're not here to take me. I just feel rather uncomfortable right now..." She said.
"Everything alright, Luna?" Lauren asked. Joe looks at her.
"She's just really uncomfortable with all this." He said. Luna looks down, nodding. Lauren sighs.
"Luna...I know I remind you of your mother, and it must be comfusing how we have a T.V show of you ponies...but I just couldn't help it when I saw you on the news..." She said. She gently reaches out and lightly rubs Luna's mane.
"Mother's been gone for a very long time..." Luna sniffed. She looks to Joe for a hug.
"Oh, come here." He said, pulling Luna into a hug. Luna hugs Joe back, fighting back the tears.
"I miss her..." She sniffed. Joe lightly runs his hand through her mane.
"Shhh, it's okay." He said. He looks at Lauren. "Can you give her a minute." He said. Lauren nods.
"Of course." She said, before walking away. A tear slips down Luna's cheek as she tightens her hug.
"I love you Joe...I don't want to screw up with you like I did everypony else I've known..I'm not even worthy of being your marefriend..." She sniffed. Joe looks at her with worry.
"Luna, don't say that, you know that I love you as much as you love me." He said. Luna smiles a bit. Joe hugs Luna slightly tighter.
"I'm here for you, Luna." He added.
"I love you so much, Joe." She said as she kisses his cheek, right at the corner of his lips. Joe smiles.
"I love you too, Luna." He said. Luna nuzzles his chest happily, smiling now.
"I want to be with you forever..." She said, wrapping her wings around him.
"Same here." He said. Luna wags her tail a bit a she stays close in his arms. Joe warmly smiles at her.
"You can tell them they can come in again." She said as she rests her head under his chin. "Just don't let go of me, okay, Joe? And can you scratch my ear?" She asked. Joe nods.
"Sure." He said as he does what she asked. He looks up at the other room. "Okay, you can come in now!" He said. Lauren comes in again but without the camera crew.
"Aww look at you two hugging that's so cute!" She said. Luna smiles, wrapping her wings more around Joe, smiling up into his eyes.
"Of course, he's my special somepony." She said happily, kissing his cheek.
"Oh...well that's nice!" Lauren said.
"It really is." Luna said. Joe smiles down at Luna.
"It is nice." He said.
"So, you two are dating?" Lauren asked. Luna nods.
"That is correct and I'm glad I'm with Joe, I love him so much." She said.
"And I love you too, Luna." He said.
"But I love you more!" Luna said, nuzzling his chest.
"Joe you're so kind to her. Treat her well. Luna deserves only the best." Lauren said. Luna blushes slightly and hugs Joe tighter. Joe has a look of determination.
"I will, I will make sure that no one will harm her." He promised. Lauren nods.
"So how did you get here anyway, Luna?" She asked.
"I don't know honestly. I just went to bed one night and I woke up her...but it's not really all that bad I guess...I do have Joe to love and have him hold me." Luna smiles, wrapping his arms tighter around her. "Can we go back to the couch Joe?" She asked. Joe nods.
"Sure." He said. Luna teleports them to the couch and she moves to lay half on top of him, wrapping her tail and wings around him.
"I love it so much when you hold me, Joe." She said. Joe smiles.
"Anything to make you happy." He said. Luna moves him to lay down on the bed and she lays on top, curling up in his arms with her head on his chest.
"Should I just come back another time?" Lauren asked. Joe looks at Luna.
"Would you like that Luna?" He asked.
"For now yes. I'd like to be alone while we cuddle ." Luna said, kissing his neck.
"When wuold it be alright for me to come back?" Lauren asked.
"How does half an hour sound Luna?" Joe asked.
"That's fine." Luna said.
"Alright. I guess I'll just go out for a quick bite then! " Lauren smiles and rubs Luna's mane before leaving. Luna looks to Joe, then quickly pecks his lips before burying her face into his chest, blushing alizarin crimson. Joe hugs her. Luna hugs back.
"Sorry about that, Joe..." She said.
"It's okay Luna." He said. Luna curls up more in his arms, letting her wings drape at her sides.
"You're so much more confortable than my bed at home." She said, nuzzling his chest. Joe chuckles and slowly runs a hand through her mane.
"I'll take that as a compliment." He said.
"It is a compliment, my love." She said, smiling at him. "I'm too comfortable to want to move. Could you hold me a bit tighter?" She asked. Joe nods and does what she says. Luna smiles more and let's out a relaxing sigh.
"I love loving you." She said happily. Joe smiles.
"And I love loving you too, Luna." He said. Luna rubs his cheek lightly with a hoof, smiling back at him and slowly locks her lips with his, kissing lightly. Joe's eyes widen in surprise, before relaxing. Luna wraps her hooves around his neck, kissing passionately with closed eyes. Joe closes his eyes as well, and slowly runs a hand through Luna's mane again. Luna gives a content sigh as she kisses. A memory appears in his head about his wife, causing a tear to fall from his face. Luna feels the tear soak into the fur on her cheek.
"Joe?" she asks, pulling away. "What's wrong?" She asked. Joe notices that his cheek was wet from the tear.
"It's... it's nothing." He said.
"Joe." Luna says firmly. "As your marefriend it is my duty to keep you happy. Please tell me what's wrong..." She said as she wipes his tear away.
"It was a memory of my wife. A memory of my wife popped into my mind as we were kissing. I didn't know why." Joe said.
"I'm sorry, Joe. But...you're quite the kisser." Luna said, blushing. Joe blushes as well.
"Th-Thank you." He said.
"I love you." She said.
"I love you too." He said.
"You humans are like monkeys, but with no fur. Why is that?" She asked.
"Well, I don't know much about it, but we did look like monkeys millions of years ago, but evolution happened and over time, the monkeys evolved into humans and we became the dominant species." He said.
"Interesting. So your species used to be likes apes but evolved without all that hair? Well...most of it anyway." She said.
"Well, there are also some people who believe that man was created by one person, or god." Joe said.
"Is that so?" She asked as she lays herself more comfortably on Joe. He scratches behind Luna's ear.
"Yep, but to me, I don't exactly care. Let people believe what they believe in." He said. Luna giggles and leans into his hand.
"Joe? What is it that makes you...love me? Not saying you shouldn't...it's just that I've never really been used to such affection..." She said.
"Well, your nice, friendly, you like the night sky, even though you are the princess of the night, and we both have had a traumatic past that we don't exactly want to talk about. And... and your beautiful too." Joe said.
"Joe...do...do you really think so, honey?" She asked. Joe nods.
"I do." He said. Luna blushes deeply and hugs Joe tight.
"I love you so much Joe!" She said happily. Joe hugs back.
"I love you too." He said. Luna smiles at Joe and nuzzles his chest. Joe smiles as well and runs a hand through her mane. Luna smiles wider and hugs his arm, trapping it in her hooves. Joe smiles at her. Luna looks at him with a dreamy look.
"If only you knew just how much I really love you Joe." She said, nuzzling his cheek.
"If you love me so much, why don't we get married?" He asked. Luna giggles.
"I really do love you, Joe, but we've only known each other for a day...I don't think I can commit to that yet." She said, kissing Joe's cheek. "But I really do love you Joe." She said, cuddling in his arms. Joe chuckles and gives a kiss on her cheek.
"I need something fluffy..." She said. She taps her chin with a hoof and gets an idea. "I know!" She yelled. She lights her horn and with a spark she reaches under Joe and pulls out a light blue tail similar in style to Rainbow Dash. "This'll do! I hope you don't mind having a tail, Joe." She said, snuggling the tail.
"Oh, it feels a little weird, but anything to make you happy." Joe said. Luna giggles and nuzzles the tail.
"Can you give it a wag? I'm curious if you can move it." She said. Joe tries to move it and it moves a little. Luna giggles.
"You tickled my chin a bit." She giggled.
"Oop, sorry." He said.
"It's no problem, Joe." She said, cuddling his tail. Joe smiles as he scratches behind Luna's ear again. Luna smiles and leans into his hand.
"My special somepony." She said happily.
"My special someone." Joe said happily.
"I love your tail!" She said, nuzzling it close. Joe smiles.
"And I love you, Luna." He said.
"I know you do Joe." She said, nuzzling his cheek. "And I am very grateful. So what do you think about the tail?" She asked.
"I like it, thank you Luna." He said. Luna smiles.
"I guess you'll want to test it out or somthing, instead of me keeping it captive!" She giggles and sits up. Joe smiles and sits up as well.
"Becareful, your tail will shift your balance when you stand." She said, kissing Joe lightly on the cheek. As he stood his balance shifted, causing him to wave his arms.
"Woah!" He yelled, before standing straight. Luna giggles at his silliness.
"See?" She said. She stands as well and helps him up straight. Joe uses a hand to hold on to her.
"Thanks." He thanked. Luna smiles and kisses his cheek.
"It's my job to help you, Joe. What kind of a marefriend would I be if I didn't?" She asked, kissing his cheek again. Joe chuckles slightly.
"That's true." He said.
"First try getting a feel for you tail by moving it in different directions." She said. Joe nods and looks at his new tail. He tries the move the tail in different directions, only getting it to move slightly in different directions.
"Its a start." She said, wrapping her tail around his. "I'll make it disappear if you want...or do you want to keep it?" She asked. Joe has an idea.
"How about this, I can keep it when we're home and stuff, but when we go out, we make it disappear to hide it." He stated.
"That'd work." Luna said, swaying her tail left and right, causing Joe's to move with hers. "Feel the muscles, how they work?" She asked. Joe nods.
"I do. Even though it feels weird, it's almost like I've had it all my life." He said.
"Is that good..or bad?" She asked in confusion.
"It's a good thing." He said. She smiles.
"Good!" She said happily. Luna smiles up at Joe, getting lost in his eyes and lets out a dreamy sigh. "I love you Joe." She said. Joe warmly smiles at her.
"I love you too, Luna." He said.
"Not as much as I love you." she sighed happily. Joe smiles.
"Well, we shouldn't keep Lauren and the reporters waiting." He said.
"But I haven't finished cuddling..." Luna whined. Joe smiles and picks Luna up.
"You can continue cuddling if you want." He said.
"How are you carrying me?" She asked. Joe shrugs.
"Let's just say, the last jobs I had, had me carry heavy boxes ranging from fifty to one hundred pounds." He said.
"I weigh over two hundred." She said.
"I've been also staying in shape as well. I have my own little gym here, it's not much, but it works." Joe said.
"Okay then." Luna said. She smiles and wraps her forelegs around his neck and lays her head on his chest. "I see your tail is wagging." She said. Joe smiles
"It means I'm happy to be with you." He said.
"I'm happy to be with you too." She said. She smiles and pecks his cheek. "Are you wagging it or is it doing it on it's own?" She asked.
"I'm doing it." He said.
"Awe, suddenly got the hang of it, huh?" She asked, smiling at him. Joe nods.
"Yep." He said. Luna catches his tail in her magic and holds in to her chest.
"My tail now!" She said, smirking. Joe laughs.
"You really like my tail, don't you?" He asked. Luna nods. Joe smiles as he notices Lauren sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee and the reporters standing in the kitchen.
"When did you get back?" Luna asked as she holds back onto Joe around his neck.
"Just a minute ago." Lauren said, smiling. Joe smiles as well.
"I see that you got yourself some coffee. I was going to get some for you." He said.
"See." Lauren said, taking a sip of it. "And you've gotten yourself a tail." She said.
"Mine." Luna said, hugging it.
"I can thank Luna for it." He said.
"I assumed she had something to do with it...but what about the ears?" Lauren asked. Luna was too busy snuggling Joe's tail to notice. Joe raises an eyebrow.
"Ears?" He asked. Luna smiles as she continues to snuggle his tail. Joe raises a hand to his head and feels pointy ears. His eyes widen slightly.
"Um, Luna?" He said.
"Yes, love?" She asked and looks up at Joe and sees the ears. "Oh..." She said in surprise.
"It seems like we may have a little problem." He said.
"But they're cute!" Luna said.
"Gaah, if only I can see them." He said. Luna conjures up a mirror.
"Here you go love!" She said.
"So you two are a couple?" Lauren asked. Joe looks and sees a pair of dark blue ears on his head, causing them to twitch, before looking at Lauren.
"I guess you can say that I'm her special somepony." He said. Luna nods and snuggles in Joe's arms. Joe smiles down at her. Luna kisses Joe a few times on the neck.
"So Luna...how do you think you'll get back to Equestria?" Lauren asked.
"I don't know, really, but if I can't...then at least I have Joe to be with while I'm here on your planet." Luna said, smiling at Luna.
"Words cannot express my love for this human." She said happily.
"Same here for my love for you, Luna." Joe said.
"Please don't put me down." Luna whispered in Joe's ear, before holding him tighter.
"But...if you're all real, how would Celestia feel to know you wont come back?" Lauren asked.
"Well..." Luna said, looking down. "I don't know..." She sniffed. Joe tries to cheer Luna up by scratching behind her ear. Luna leans her head into Joe's hand.
"Joe...what if I can't go back?" She asked sadly.
"I'll be here for you, I promise." Joe promises. Luna smiles.
"I know you will, Joe. I know you will." She yawned. She turns to lay on her side in his arms and ends up falling asleep. Joe slowly sits on the couch, so as to not disturb Luna. And warmly smiles at her. Luna smiles, sleeping peacefully.
"That's so cute!" Lauren said. Joe nods.
"Indeed it is." He said. Luna gives off a slight, cat like purr as she sleeps. Joe yawns and starts to nod off, when a knock on the door came, jarring him from his stupor. Luna snorts and wakes up from the noise.
"Joe...whoes at the door?" She asked. Joe carefully places Luna next to him and stands up.
"I'll go see." He said. Luna hugs his tail quick.
"Okay Joe." She said. Lauren takes a peek outside. As Joe walks towards the door, he looks at Lauren.
"Lauren, are you expecting anyone?" He asked.
"No actually." Lauren said.
"Who is it, honey?" Luna asked. As Joe opens the door, he notices a women with colorful hair, wearing a beautiful white dress with a symbol of the sun was standing at the door, along with a teenage girl wearing a purple jacket and pants with a symbol of a starburst with five other starbursts surrounding it with a purple dog was busy writing away on a notepad and a guy with blue hair wearing a white jacket and pants with a symbol of a starburst shield on the left side of the jacket.
"Um, may I help you?" He asked.
"We are looking for my dear sister...Princess Luna." The colored hair women said.
"Celestia!?" Luna muttered in shock.

"Celestia!?" Luna muttered in shock. She rushes over to the door. Joe's ears perk up.
"Wait, your sister? Wait, that makes you Celestia!" He yells.
"Tia!" Luna yells as she tackle hugs Celestia. Joe has a wide smile on his face. Celestia has tears in her eyes as she hugs Luna.
"Oh, Luna, I've been so worried!" She said happily.
"We've all been!" The purple haired girl said, joining in the hug. Luna wipes a tear from her eyes as she smiles.
"I...I want you to meet Joe...my coltfriend...or human friend rather..." She said. Joe waves a hand.
"Hello." He said. The blue haired guy's eyes widen.
"Wait, what!" He yells. Luna lets go of Celestia and goes to stand next to Joe, kissing his cheek.
"We're a couple." Luna said.
"Luna...we have enough to do as princesses...but adding a relationship would just add more complications, when you're a thousand years behind!" Celestia yelled.
"But I love him, Tia!" Luna sighs. "I thought you'd be here to bring us back, not bicker about who I choose to be with!" She yelled.
"He's not from Equestria! He's alien to us since we've never seen his species before, and you've fallen in love after just a day?" Celestia asked.
"I guess this means you won't let him home to Equestria with us then, huh...?" Luna asked in sadness. Celestia looks down.
"I'm sorry Luna." She said. Luna tears up and shakes her head.
"First Nobody appreciates my night and the moment I come across somepony who does, who won't even let me be with him!?" Luna screams. A tear slips down her cheek and she runs back inside. Joe looks at Celestia angrily.
"Seriously, she falls in love with me and you deny it, what the hell is wrong with you!" He yells. Luna flops onto the bed in the guest room, crying her eyes out into the pillow.
"Joe..." Celestia sighs. "If we weren't so occupied with our royal duties, I wouldn't mind it. Plus, I have no idea, who or what you are, or what your intensions you are. I'm only looking out for her...but...she never sees it that way... " She said. She sighs and puts a hand on her head.
"Everything I do seems to upset her. She's never had any friends really, and our ponies favor me over her, so she feels really singled out...which means she'll be too obsessed with you to do her duties. Please understand this, Joe." She said. Joe glares at Celestia with a sneer.
"She finally made a friend and a lover and your trying to break it apart, I don't care about what you have to say, you just broke your sister's heart, you're a horrible sister." He barked, causing Celestia to flinch at that.
"Hey!" The teenage girl shouted, moving in front of Celestia. "She's trying her best okay! If she wasn't a good sister, she wouldn't have spent a week searching space for Luna!" She yelled
"It is very tiring after even one hour...takes a lot of magic..." Celestia said.
"THEN to be able to teleport the three of us millions and millions and maybe trilions of miles to get here!" The girl yelled. Celestia looks down at her hands.
"Apparently even that isn't good enough..." She sighed.
"Joe...if only you knew how complicated these things get..." the teenage girl said, placing a hand on Joe's shoulder. "I can sense you truely love that mare...but she doesn't belong here anyway... I've done research on yur world since we got here...it's anything but safe...the last thing we want is something bad to happen to Luna. She went through a thousand years of torment." She said. Joe looks at the teenager in front of him angrily and removes her hand from his shoulder.
"Thanks for the little talk, but Celestia should let her sister be with anyone she want to be. Even Lauren is happy." He said.
"How would you be with her anyway since we're bringing her back to Equestria?" Celestia asked. Luna is Still crying in the bed, using the blankets to hide herself from the reports, who were creeping up at her with the cameras. Lauren is rubbing Luna's back, trying to sooth her.
"Joe...I want Joe..." Luna cried.
"No matter what would happen to me if you took me with you, I would stay with Luna, no matter what." Joe said.
"But you dont belong there just as much as she doesnt belong here..." Celestia said.
"Luna called your name..." The teenage girl said. Joe hears Luna call him. He glares at them one last time before walking inside and up the stairs. He enters the guest room and sees Lauren trying to calm her down, while the camera people were filming Luna. Joe points at them.
"You two, out!" He yells. The two men were quick to exit. Luna pokes her head out of the blanket, her eyes filled with tears.
"Joe." She sniffed, holding her forelegs out to him. Joe picks Luna up and holds her close.
"I'm here Luna." He said. Luna holds tightly onto him, crying into his chest. Joe sits on the bed and holds her. Luna stays as close as possible to him. Luna moves into his lap and tries her best to curl up on him with what little space she had. Joe tries to cheer Luna up by scratching behind her ear, when he sees Celestia, who seems to have turned into a pony like Luna, and two other ponies who must have been the purple clothed girl and white clothed guy. Along with what looks like a purple lizard on the purple ponies back enter the room. He looks at them angrily.
"Woman." The white unicorn said, shrugging, only to get punched by the purple unicorn.
"I...I want to be alone...with Joe..." Luna sniffed, nuzzling into Joe's chest.
"Lauren, can you escort our guests to the living room so that me and Luna can be alone for a while, please." Joe said.
"I-if they'll even go..." Lauren said nervously.
"Very well." Celestia said. She leads the others out of the room.
"Th-thank you Joe." Luna said happily, hugging his neck.
"You love me, r-right?" She asked. Joe smiles down at her.
"Of course I do, Luna." He said. Luna sighs.
"I guess I have to go back...without you..." She sniffed. Joe has an idea.
"Luna, can I get something real quick?" He asked.
"Okay..." She said hesitantly. She hesitantly gets off of Joe. Joe gets up and walks towards the closest. He opens it and rummages through it.
"Ah, there it is." He said as he pulls out a plush. He walks back to the bed and sits back down next to Luna. "Here, I go this a while ago and I didn't know why. It just called to me." He said, holding out a plush version of Luna.
"Oh, Joe..." Luna said. She takes it and hugs it tightly. "Now we need a plush you!" She said. Joe laughs.
"That would be a bit funny." He said. Luna leans on Joe.
"You're the only knows who knows how to make me smile." She said, smiling a little, before kissing his cheek. "I really love you Joe." She said. Joe smiles at her.
"And I love you too, Luna." He said.
"Joe? I...I wanna get married...I know I said I wasn't ready, but part of it is so Tia can't split us." She said. Luna hugs Joe and laughs.
"I thought the man was supposed to ask, but oh well." She laughed. Joe smiles and opens the drawer that was next to the bed. He pulls out a small black velvet box.
"Maybe I should ask you then." He said. Luna blushes.
"The answer is already yes." She said happily. Joe hugs Luna with a wide smile.
"I'll happily marry you." Luna said happily, kissing his cheek. "I hope I can be the mare you need." She said.
"And I hope I can be the stallion you need." Joe said.
"But you are!" Luna said, hugging him tighter, then notices something wrong. "Joe..when did you begin growing blue fur on your chest?" She asked. Joe looks down and notices the blue fur.
"Well, this is new." He said.
"I only meant to give you a tail...not turn you into a pony!" She giggled. Joe chuckles.
"I wouldn't mind." He said. Luna giggles and nuzzles Joe's cheek. Joe hugs Luna.
"Should we tell this to Celestia?" He asked.
"What?" She asked, hugging back.
"No matter what, I'll go back with you, even if your sister doesn't want me to." He said. Luna smiles.
"You're going to be my husband. I have no doubts you will." She said, kissing his lips softly.
"Shall we break the ice with your sister?" He asked.
"I dunno...you didn't kiss me back." Luna smirked.
"Oh, alright." He said as he kisses Luna. Luna puts her forelegs around his neck as she closes her eyes, returning the kiss. Joe relaxes as he also wraps his arms around Luna. Luna moans slightly, leaning into the kiss.
"I love you, Joe." She says softly for a second before returning to kissing. Joe gives a relaxing sigh before closing his eyes. Luna wraps her wings around Joe, pulling him closer as she continues to kiss deeper, angling her head to get better results. She curls her tail arund his as it rapidly wags, bringing it to stay still as she pushes into him, enjoying the kiss. Joe runs a hand through Luna's mane. Luna kisses even deeper for a few more moments before pulling away and she smiles. Joe smiles as well.
"That... was amazing." He said. Luna smiles back.
"I know it was." She said. Joe stands up and stretches. But as he stretches, he stumbles.
"Something wrong, love?" Luna asked. Joe's head started to feel funny.
"I'm... fine." He said. But as he said that, his legs buckle and he falls to the ground. The world started to spin in his eyes.
"Honey?" Luna asked, worried. She tries to help him up. As he stood, New notices that his legs and feet felt extremely weird while everything was still slightly spinning.
"My legs, feel really weird." He said. Luna holds him in her Forelegs, sitting on the bed with him. Joe takes off the shoes that he was wearing and notices that his feet have turned into hooves.
"Aww!" Luna said, bending down to look. "So cute!" She said, poking one. Joe leg twitches at Luna's poke. He rolls up the Jeans that he has on, only to reveal that his entire legs are covered in dark blue fur. Luna giggles and stands back up.
"Just take them off you don't need them now that you have fur." She said, nuzzling his cheek. Joe smiles and takes his pants off, revealing white underwear.
"This is going to take some time getting used too." He said. With magic Luna removes his shirt to see most of his torso has also been covered in fur.
"You're fluffy!" She said, hugging him. Joe hugs back.
"So are you." He said.
"You need to be fluffier." She said, nuzzling his chest. He chuckles as he runs a hand through her mane. Luna pulls Joe's tail close with her magic and holds it in her forelegs.
"You really like my tail, don't you." He said. Luna nods, hugging it.
"Well... guess we should go talk some sense into Tia." She said nervously. Joe nods
"I'm ready whenever you are." He said. Luna nods and nuzzles Joe's chest once more.
"Let's to then." She said. Joe nod and stands up, arms flailing slightly, adjusting to his new hooves. He holds a hand out to Luna. Luna smiles and paces a hoof in his hand.
"Now that I think about it," she said, smiling more. "I would love to be your wife." She said happily. She kisses his cheek affectionately. "There's nothing I could ever want more than that." She said. Joe warmly smiles.
"I'm very happy to hear that." He said. Luna leans her head on him.
"Your fur is very soft, my love." She said. She smiles as she walks out of the room with him. Joe smiles at her.
"Thank you, and yours is too." He said.
"I'm a sucker for fluffy things." She giggles. Joe chuckles as they come to the stairs. He looks at them, then looks at his hooves.
"Okay, let's take it easy." He said. Luna nods and levitates him to the bottom then trots down and nuzzles his cheek.
"Thank you." Joe said.
"No problem, honey." She said, smiling. Joe smiles and notices that Lauren and Celestia were at the table drinking a cup of coffee while talking, the purple pony and a lizard were sitting in front of the t.v., the purple pony was writing away at the notepad, and the blue mane'd pony was staring at the two reporters, who where filming everything.
"Tia...I'd like to talk to you..." Luna said. Joe nods as he looks at Celestia. Celestia sighs heavily and gets up.
"Please excuse me." She said, walking over. "Luna, I..." She began.
"Celestia you've been very controlling of my life and descisions for far too long and I feel it's about time I make the descision for a change." Luna said firmly, interrupting her. "Joe and I are getting married, and he's coming to Equestria with us. He's even turning into a pony, see?" She said, gesturing a hoof to Joe who now has the large eyes of a pony and a growing muzzle.
"You keep saying you want what's best for me, and I feel having Joe in my life will help me a lot. He cares about me, he loves me, and I love him just the same." She said as she hugs Joe and kisses his cheek. "If he cannot come with us back home, I'm not coming back." She said. Joe notices something on top of his head, but ignores it as he looks at Celestia.
"Celestia, look, Luna is extremely happy to be with me, just like how I love being with her, and you want to take that away from her? That's not what a sister does, and it'll break her heart, is that what you want?" He asked.
"No." Celestia said sadly, shaking her head. "If I allow you to come with, you'll technically be a prince and will have royal duties which will be to aid Luna in hers. Fair enough?" She asked.
"Love is fair." Luna said, hugging Joe tighter.
"I want to do anything to keep Luna happy." Joe said, hugging back.
"Very well then." Celestia said.
"My fluffy Joe." Luna said, nuzzling him.
"My lovely Luna." He said as he runs a hand through her mane.
"Well, shall we get going sis?" Zhe asks as she curls her tail tightly around Joe's. Joe smiles as his tail slightly wags.
"Yes, we shall. Twilight?" Celestia asked.
"Yes, Celestia?" Twilight responds, watching the t.v with the lizard.
"We're leaving." Celestia said. Luna holds Joe's hands in her hooves.
"Ready to start a new life, honey?" She asked, looking into Joe's eyes with a smile. Joe nods and smiles.
"Let's go then." Celestia said. She lights her horn and a portal appears and she walks in, Twilight, Spike and blue mane'd pony go in after her. Luna kisses Joe's cheek.
"Let's go honey." Luna said. Joe nods and puts his hands in a polite manner.
"After you." He said.
"As a couple we do everything together." Luna said as she puts a hoof in his furred hand and walks in with him. Lauren stares at the portal, sounds of giggling ponies begin to ring in her ears, drawing her to the portal. As Joe and Luna go in, it begins to close.
"Wait for me!" She yelled, jumping in at the last second. Luna appears in her room with Joe, still holding his hand. She looks up at him and smiles.
"I love you Joe." She said as she plants a soft kiss on the side of his new fully grown muzzle and hugs his arm. Suddenly a bright light surrounds him and when it vanishes, a dark blue unicorn with a silver mane and a crescent moon and star for a cutie mark just barely shorter then Luna are in its place. He shakes his head.
"Woah, just feel slightly funny." He said. Luna pulls him into a tight hug.
"But at least we're together!" She said happily, nuzzling his cheek. "My handsome stallion! My husband, my love...my everything." She said, hugging him tighter. Lauren appears in a grassy field and she looks around. Joe nuzzles Luna.
"My love." He said.
