Those days where she just read a book, went to a spa, or just stayed at her castle were normal for the Alicorn. Days where she fought a giant magic stealing beast, or had to go through different alternate worlds, yeah, those were weird. And what started as a normal day for the princess of friendship turned into a weird day where she ran into an anthropomorphic porcupine and fox. Who could talk. "Why is there a purple winged unicorn in front of us?" said the hedgehog. Twilight yelped as she heard the creature talk. She then got into a battle ready stance. "Who are you and what are you doing here?!" Sonic brushed off dust that was on his torso. "I don't know where I am, nor do I know who you are," he grew a smirk, "but I'll give you a fight if you want." Twilight fired a bolt of magic, while Sonic dodged it. "That the best you got?" Twilight gathered up all her energy for another attack. "Firebird Powder!" She said while firing a fire blast. Sonic merely deflected it with an air punch. "Kin Turnabout!" Twilight conjured up a shield to wear down the attack. After the attack, the two were panting out of tiredness. Sonic stepped up. "To be honest, I don't think I've ever came across a talking unicorn Pegasus that looks as cute as you, yet can still hold up her own." Twilight blushed. She wasn't expecting someone whom one moment was battling her, to call her cute of all things the next. "Thank you! And I'm actually an Alicorn." "Alicorn huh? Has a nice ring to it!" Sonic held out his hand. "I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog! Fastest thing alive! And this is my buddy Miles Prower. But people just call him Tails." Twilight held out her right wing. "Princess Twilight Sparkle of friendship. Also part time librarian." She then looked up at the damage to the library. "We're gonna have to fix it..." ... "So what's with the mane? It's so.... straight," joked Sonic. "What?! I like it this way!" yelled an angry Twilight. "I was joshing you!" Sonic laughed. Twilight blushed and laughed at the joke, while Tails had pulled out his mileselectric tablet. "According to the tablet, we seem to be in a world where science is replaced with magic. Frankly, I don't believe that." "Science does exist. It's just, powered by, magic,' said Twilight. Tails facepalmed at that statement while Sonic snickered at the remark. "Magic or not, it is science, so I'll let it slide. As long as you don't tell me you guys use magic to raise the sun and moon or something!" The saddened face from Twilight on that comment made Tails face palm once again. "So do you ever cut your mane?" asked Sonic. "Only when I can't see through the bangs." "You know, I can style your mane for you. I took some styling lessons when I was eight! You'd look a lot better with jagged bangs." "I'll think about it. But now, I think I should introduce you to my friends!" ... Twilight had called a group meeting with her friends, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Starlight Glimmer so they could meet up with her new friends. Spike was watching hoofball with Big Mac. "So Twilight," started RD, "who's these new guys you talked about us meeting?" "I hope these guys are fabulous!" said Rarity. "Ah reckon their gonna be strong like us," replied Applejack. "Oh oh! I have a feeling these new people are gonna need a welcome to ponyville partay!" yelled Pinkie Pie. "I hope they are really nice," said Fluttershy. "Ya know, you guys remind me of my old friends," said Sonic, as he appeared next to Twilight, alongside Tails. The group had a collective gasp. "Oh my goodness! A talking hedgehog!" yelled Fluttershy. She galloped up to give Sonic a giant hug. "Easy there Pink Lemon," said Sonic as he wiggled his way out of Fluttershy's hug. "Oh, my name is Fluttershy." Fluttershy was waiting for the hedgehog to ask for her to speak up. Instead, he actually heard her the first time around. "Oh, well hi there Fluttershy. Name's Sonic the Hedgehog!" Everyone started gathering around Sonic, except for RD, who just came up to Sonic. "And you sure that your not some sort of mutant trying to take over the world?" "Rainbow Dash, that wasn't very nice!" Fluttershy exclaimed. "Sorry," Rainbow reluctantly stated. "So Blue, what's your talent?" "I'm a fast dude, Dashie. Running at the speed of sound!" "Think you could keep up with me?" Rainbow Dash flew off. "Your on!" Sonic ran off. ... Rarity noticed something going on with Twilight. She seemed to be blushing whenever she was near Sonic. "Uh dear, it seems your infautuated with Sonic there." Twilight snapped out of it. "What?? No, he just seems.... cool, that's all." Rarity rolled her eyes and went on her way to the Carousel Boutique, while stopping by Applejack. "Bet you five bits Rainbow Dash will win." Twilight just looked on while Sonic raced with Rainbow Dash, while Tails walked up. "You are in love with him? Aren't you?" asked Tails, smirking in how he guessed it so soon. Twilight facepalmed. Ever since Sonic appeared at her library, she's had a strange infatuation with the blue blur. It wasn't anything she normally felt. It was a strange combination of her love for her parents and her liking of her friends. She didn't know why, but she was intended on finding out. "Your cheeks blush every time he makes a smart remark, and you've been trying to stay near him. The question you asked isn't smart," said Tails. Twilight whacked Tails with her tail. "I am too! So anyways, how'd you and Sonic get here?" Tails then shuddered as he remembered the events of an hour ago. "I, really don't want to talk about it now..." Twilight nodded. "I understand if you don't want to share those. So, who do you think will win the race?" "That rainbow Pegasus, er, Rainbow Dash may be fast, but I have faith in Sonic. Twilight smiled. "You know what, me too." ... A giant black smoke cloud appeared from a cave near Ponyville. From it, a figure resembling a dark stallion with a white mask. "Phase 1 begins now...." ... Two racers were at the starting line. One was a Rainbow colored Pegasus who was the fastest flyer in Equestria. The other was a blue hedgehog who was the fastest thing alive in Möbius. Both were about to have a race to see who was faster. As soon as they glanced at each other, they grinned. "Ready to go fast?" Rainbow Dash said. "I was born fast," replied Sonic. Pinkie Pie was holding the checkered flag. "3, 2, ah who am I kidding, GO GO GO!!!!" As soon as it was said, the two sprinted off. The race had begun. The two racers sped by Twilight's castle, then by Sweet Apple Acres, followed by ending up on a desert. As she looked back, RD noticed Sonic was behind her. "So much for fastest thing alive!" "You were saying?" Dashie was shocked to see the blue blur going faster than her. She couldn't believe her eyes. Not only was he going faster, but he was also running backwards with his arms folded! "How.... How are you doing that?!" "A little thing called multitasking. You should really try it Skittles!" As he said that, the blue hedgehog sped by even faster. However, RD was determined. "Ok, so it was just some jitters that kept me slow. No biggie, I can go faster." She then sped up faster and faster until a boom of rainbows exploded. She was performing the Sonic Rainboom. "Let's see how you can beat that!" After she said it, Sonic sped up and went even faster until a huge white explosion appeared. He was performing a Sonic Boom. "Nice Sonic Boom," he said as he came up to a wide mouthed Rainbow Dash. "Wha.. Wha.... How is that possible?!!" ... The two came to the finish line back at the castle. It was a stalemate. "Dash, I have to admit, you actually blew my mind!" exclaimed Sonic. "Huh?" If anything was true, it was Rainbow Dash who was the most surprised. "Rainbow Dash, I expected you to be cool, but that. That was just awesome!" RD blushed at that. "Well, uh, thanks." Twilight got a face of concern. 'That freaking Pegasus is stealing my hunk,' she thought. She quickly shook those thoughts out of her head. She would never think of that. She then went up to Sonic, and hugged him. "I knew you both could do it!" Sonic was glad. 'She's like Amy, only less clingy and I actually seem to like-like her.' Just as the group was about to celebrate, a dark cloud covered them up. "What's going on?" asked Pinkie Pie. A black stallion with a white mask appeared. He then spoke. "Citizens of Equestria, heed this warning of darkness. For a great ancient evil is about to come out." He pointed at Twilight. As he pointed, a seed of darkness was planted in her. "It could be you." He then pointed at Sonic. "Or him. No one knows." He then disappeared." As the stallion disseared, everyone looked dumbfounded. Even Twilight. At that time, Spike came back to the castle. "Hey Twilight! That hoofball game was great!" He then noticed the blue blur. "Who's that guy?" ... "Ok, so now I get the whole Sonic and Tails appearing thing, but that stallion? I have no idea on that!" No one had an idea on the stallion. He just appeared out of no where, like a deus-ex machima. Twilight spoke up. "Alright, Spike, take a letter to Princess Celestia about it, and Pinkie, you know what to do." Pinkie did know. Since Sonic and Tails had came to Equestria, a welcome party was in order for them. "Yay! And then we can build a house for Spikey and his foxy!" "Oh, actually, we'll be staying with Twilight," Sonic spoke up. Everyone was confused, except for Twilight, who was blushing very hard. "She was the first one me and Tails met, so we would feel at home with her. Don't worry, we won't be of a burden." Twilight straightened up. "Alright, you'll need to get weekly groceries starting now." Sonic grew a smug face. "You help a pretty girl, and they task you with shopping." Twilight smiled and blushed. "Stop that!" 'Somebody's defiantly in love,' Tails thought. ... The dark stallion appears in his cave again. He uses his magic to construct Timberwolves. "Phase 1 is about to come to a close." A Dark Sonic? Twilight's Struggle to AdmitChasing Timberwolves! Hints of Darkness? TV-PG-DV Sonic had just sped through the market with all the stuff Twilight needed. Quills, parchment, 2 tons of ink, and food. He got up to the cash register. "Hey there beautiful. Mind getting this stuff checked out?" Sonic was horrified to see the mare he just talked to, was in fact a stallion. "Are you implying your gay for me?!" Sonic had a look of sheer terror. "Nothing!" He left the place leaving behind 2 gems. Don't ask how he got them. I'm the author, and I don't even know. "Whew. That almost got ugly," he said. "Gotta just say to those who need it. Like Twilight..." He then started blushing, but then heard something. "What are you thinking?! Being in love with a pastel color horse?!" He noticed the voice sounded like Knuckles. He shrugged it off, thinking he's just hearing voices. ... "Are you sure this is safe?" asked Apple Bloom. Diamond Tiara had wanted to try out Scootaloo's scooter, as her mother never let her try out anything fun. "Apple Bloom, I'm sure I'll be fine! It did get inspected when you got it Scootaloo, right?" replied Diamond Tiara. Scootaloo had a face of sarcasm. "Obviously, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to buy it!" After she said it, Diamond Tiara had scooted to far off a cliff and started falling. "Then again we should have been AWAY from a cliff." Apple Bloom facehoofed. ... Sonic was on his way to Twilight's with the groceries. He had went to 6 different markets to get him. He even had to scam a scammer to get one of the items. But it was worth it. While he was running, he noticed a filly falling off a cliff. He couldn't just run off from it. He put the groceries in his backpack he took with him, and ran to help the filly. He jumped, then air boosted to catch her. The filly opened her eyes to see that she wasn't dead. "Thanks for saving me, um, blue hedgehog?" "Just call me Sonic," he replied, then sped off. ... Twilight was just reading a book when Sonic came back. She noticed how it didn't take Sonic long to get them. "Wow, I knew you were fast, but that was even faster!" "Nothing at all Twily," said Sonic. Twilight looked embarrassed at the name. "Oh, um..." "Does someone else call you that?" Twilight looked down. "Yeah, my big brother. I hardly see him much since he runs an empire and has a daughter to take care of." Sonic looked on with a feeling of misery in her words. "Alright, so you don't see your brother much, but you got your friends, and you do still see him right?" Twilight nodded. "So there's no need to worry. Plus, you got me," Sonic said as he put his arm around Twilight. Twilight giggled, as Sonic took it off. "So, you got any TVs anywhere?" Twilight's eyes widened. "TV?" "Wait, you mean to tell me, you have no television?!" "I have no idea what that is. Normally, we just read and walk around." Sonic facepalmed. "Remind me to request a meeting with who ever rules you about it." "Princess Celestia." Suddenly, Twilight's eyes widened again. "Oh my gosh! I forgot to tell her about you! I got a meeting to schedule for it, then I have to show you around Ponyville, and I have to get Pinkie Pie to add the princesses to the guest list!" As Sonic watched Twilight scamper around, with bloodshot eyes and a frizzed mane, he grew a face of concern, as Spike walked by with the laundry. "Is she usually like that Spike?" Spike nodded. "Sometimes she's even more than that." Sonic went up to Twilight. "Twilight, calm down. You don't have to get worked up about it. Just relax." Twilight got even more upset. "But what if she gets mad at me? What if she strips me of my princess title?! What if she sends me to the moon for a thousand years?!!" 'They can do that? Ruthless.' He smiled. "Calm down. She's not gonna do that. She cares about you as much as I care about you. No one would ever do that to you." Twilight calmed down and smiled. "Oh dear god. Here, let me get that mane for you." Sonic grabbed a brush and went through the many frizzes. "You know, you really ought to let your mane down more. You look good enough now, but I bet a new manestyle would make you look better." Twilight blushed. 'Wow. I never noticed how great he is. Maybe I should just confess now,' she thought. "Sonic, I've been meaning to say this for a while now, but, I've been having this weird feeling for the past few days, and I just wanted to say...." Before she could finish, a ditzy mare Pegasus was seen running. "Timberwolves!!!" Twilight grew a face of worry, while Sonic looked on with confusion. "Timberwolves?! Oh no!!" "Uh, what's a timberwolf?" asked Sonic. "A timberwolf is a magical dog made of timber, or wood. They are most commonly seen stalking in the Everfree Forest, and very rarely do they come out." Twilight got a nod from Sonic. "Stay here. I need to get my friends to..." "Now hold on," started Sonic, giving Twilight a confused look. "I've fought against tyrannical rulers, a being made of water, and became King Arthur himself. I've also dealt with an ice age business mogul, an ugly Ixis Wizard, and a being feeding off of dark emotions. Giant dogs made of wood, I'm pretty sure I can handle that." Twilight was about to make a counter statement, but she figured that if he did all that, (she'd have to ask about the King Arthur thing) he could take on timberwolves. "Alright Sonic. Just be careful." "Don't you worry Twi!" Twilight smiled and flew off, while Sonic grinned and sped off. ... At the eastern side of Ponyville, there were 3 Timberwolves attacking town hall. There were 5 mares keeping the wooden dogs busy. "Ah can strangle you wusses into next Saturday!" yelled Applejack. "Although a lady doesn't give into violence, lay one claw on Spikey-Wikey and I WILL murder you!" screamed Rarity. "Oh please mister Timberwolf, could you maybe go back to the Everfree Forest and not terrorize Equestria?" asked Fluttershy. "Put 'em up ya big mutts!! For my party cannon!!!!" yelled Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash was getting worried. "Cmon Twi, this thing isn't gonna be still for long." A blue blur and purple Alicorn arrived. Twilight spoke up. "Timberwolves! As princess of Equestria, I demand you cease your attack and return to the forest where you belong!" The wolf snarled and growled at the mares and blur. "I guess its smashy time now," said Sonic. He went up and spin dashed through the wolf. "One down, two to go...." The smashed wolf pieced himself back together, looking like nothing had hit him. "They can reanimate?!" Twilight grew nervous. "I probably should have mentioned it before." Twilight grew an idea. "Sonic, do you think you could distract the Timberwolves for us?" "I could. Old butt smack and boost oughta do that! But how could that destroy them?" "It doesn't. While your doing your... thing... I'll research the spell I found that could temporarily stabilize them for 20 years. We'll have to fight them every 20 years or so, but at least they won't be a threat to Equis till then." "Got it!" Sonic went up to the wolf and stuck his tongue out at it. "Hey timbermutt! I'm the fresh meat you want!" he said, as he slapped his butt. The girls couldn't help but giggle. ... As Sonic boosted around, with the wolves chasing him, Twilight looked through the books she had, when she came across the spell. 'A spell that stabilizes living beings for 5-20 years. The spell can cause extreme danger to whomever casts it, as it requires a lot of dark magic to use, along with the power of all 4 alicorns.' Twilight breathed in, as she closed her eyes, put the Alicorn Amulet around her neck, and thought to herself. 'I hate resorting to this, but my friends need me.' When she opened her eyes, they were green with purple mist flowing out. Applejack thought to herself. 'I'm not sure that amulet is a good idea to wear, but I trust Twilight can handle it. Twilight went up to Sonic and gave him a thumbs up, as he sped away, and Twilight released her spell on the wooden dogs, and they were stabilized. Everyone was happy. "It worked! The spell worked!" All the mares cheered on as Sonic hugged Twilight. "Hey, I thought you hated group hugs?" "Eh, least I could do." All the cheers were soon died down, as the wolves unstabilized, and started moving again. Everyone was shocked at the sight. "H.. How?!?! I did exactly what the book said!" said Twilight. A dark thought appeared in Twilight's head. 'Books can't always be right. If you had more power, you would have been able to KILL it.' The one wolf swung at Twilight, causing her to fall to the ground, with her mouth and a cut in her hoof oozing blood. "Twilight!" Sonic went to up to help her, but also got swung by one, his mouth also bleeding. The wolves went back to terrorizing the mares, while Sonic looked on. He grew angry the more he saw it. 'These wolves are gonna kill my friends.... NO! Not again!' His fur began to blacken, as his eyes began to lose his pupils. "I will not let you kill my loved ones!" He unleashed a wave of Chaotic energy causing the wolves to explode into little remnants. As he saw the wolves gone, his fur went back to its normal color, as he fell to the ground. 'Good...' As everyone looked up, they saw the Timberwolves were gone. They also noticed that Sonic had fallen to the ground. Twilight and Tails ran up to him to see if he was still alive. A simple blink told them he was alive. Twilight started crying, as Sonic held onto her. "I think it's time we told them everything," said Tails. Dreams of an Absolution! Love Birds?A Dark Sonic? Twilight's Struggle to Admit TV-14-V Sonic sighed. Just a couple days ago, in his old world, he was hanging around with his old friends, laughing, goofing around, and messing with good old Egghead Robotnik. And now, he had went through two hard life changers with his friend Tails. 'Time to let it all out now,' he thought. ... The mane six, Spike, Sonic, Tails, and Starlight had gathered at the friendship discussion table due to a request made by Tails. "Thank you all for meeting us here today to discuss a subject matter from me and Sonic. Who we are, and how we got here," he said. Sonic looked down with despair, as Twilight looked concerned. "I understand if you don't want to talk about it. It would be a very touchy subject." Sonic shook his head. "No no, it's time we talked about it. The sooner we talk about it, the sooner it will be gone," he smirked. "And the sooner I can make you giggle." Twilight blushed for the 20th time. "Alright. It's time to reveal all..." ... Mobiüs, Sonic and Tails' Past Sonic the Hedgehog was just a young hedgehog. He was born on Christmas Island 17 years ago, and had a young traveler named Tails (age 11) who was Sonic's best friend and sidekick. He didn't mind it though. What he did mind was getting picked on constantly for having two tails behind him. Thankfully, when he met Sonic, he learned to boost his confidence and whenever he gets bullied, he just ignored them. But how did Eggman attacking cause all of this? It was 3 years ago when Eggman first attacked. He took Mobotropolis and caused everyone to flee. "Hurry! He don't have much time!" yelled a voice. It was Rosie, the royal protector of the Acorn family. An invasion had happened, and she was in charge of protecting the 13 year old Sally Acorn. The residents were running for their lives, as badniks and Egg Pawns started taking the castle. "Rosie, am I ever gonna see my dad again?" asked the young princess. "I'm not sure Sally. Right now, he's in the special zone with the Royal Wizard Ixis Naugus, but our top priority is getting out of here and establishing a new home." While everyone was at the new base, a blue hedgehog appeared. He was the same as his newer counterpart, only he was chubby, and had no sole on his shoes. "Huh, so this is the famous Mobotropolis. Looks more robot than I thought." He sped through the robots, releasing small animals as he went through them. He then came up to where a round scientist was, as he was putting animals into robots. He noticed a blue hedgehog had appeared behind him. "Fascinating. A blue hedgehog." "Hey look, a giant talking egg!" Sonic teased. "Silence cretin! I am Dr Robotnik, mad scientist, and future ruler of Robotnikland! Say your prayers!" The hedgehog sped though the obstacles Robotnik set up, than spinned into the Eggmobile. "I'll get you next time!!" "Yeah, what ever you say Eggman!" ... "And that was the first time I had met Dr Fatso himself." Everyone around Sonic chuckled. "So what happened after that?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Next? I beat him again, this time with Tails and the Chaos Emeralds..." "Chaos Emeralds?" asked Twilight. She was worried about how the emerald (that she never heard of) were some how related to the arbinger of chaos, Discord. "It sorta a long story. It depends on how you use them. I gain a super form using them." Rainbow Dash's jaw was wide open. She could go SUPER?! "Then, I went on to beat him multiple other times, with super emeralds that gain me a hyper form..." Rainbow's jaw was even wider. "Uh Rainbow, something wrong?" "You gotta show me those things soon!" she exclaimed. "Anyway, super emeralds, a dark doppelgänger, teamwork, this one crap adventure I can't remember, swearing, a werehog transformation, aliens, my past self, and I also once saved the Arabian Knights, and became King Arthur himself." Everyone was slack jawed. Even Tails, on those last two. After Twilight went back to normal, she was still intrigued. "So when was the first time you experienced that dark state of yours?" ... Sonic had came down towards the lower deck of a ship that Tails was captured at. The Meterex captured him and a girl he had met a couple months ago. He noticed there were red chaos emeralds all around. 'Red chaos emeralds. And I sense they're fake. What effect would they have on me?' he thought. The Meterex had demanded a chaos emerald in turn for the release of Tails. He smirked and picked up one of them. "Looks like I could trick him, and get my pals back." The Meterex had stood in his ship, with Tails and Cosmo in a glass container. "Let me go you beast!!" Tails had tried to break the glass, but every time he did, he ended up smacking himself. "Tails," said Cosmo. "Please stop. I know Sonic will be here quickly." Just as she said that, Sonic walked in, smirking, and holding the emerald. He was about to hand over it, when the alien sensed it, and trapped Sonic. "How did you know?" The alien just pressed the button, causing a sound wave to appear, making Tails cough up blood. It also shocked Cosmo. With both of his friends on the verge of dying because of his mistake, tears welled up in his eyes. 'I can't believe it. My cockiness and weakness is causing my friends to die.' 'No!' whispered a dark voice in his head. 'You are not weak! You must in race you darkness if you ever want to see them again!' When he opened his eyes, they were green with purple mist, and his fur turned a very dark blue. "I WILL NOT LET YOU HURT MY FRIENDS!" ... The place had exploded during the fight. Luckily, the only casualty lost was the alien. Sonic went back to normal, as he picked up Tails and Cosmo, and headed home with them. "There there buddy. I'm there for you." ... Everyone had looked nervous. Sonic and Tails felt a midge of guilt, Rainbow was holding in her "That was AWESOME" to avoid the glares, and everyone else looked confused. "And now, how we got here." ... A blue streak speeds by the Möbians at the speed of sound. There was no time for relaxation for this hedgehog. He had to get to Eggman fast, or he would fail. "Sonic, can you please slow down? My tails are getting cramped," said a two tailed yellow-orange-ish fox, who was using his twin tails to propel him into the air. "Lighten up Tails! You can keep up with me even without using your tails," replied Sonic while he was running. "Besides, Eggman won't be hesitant to pull a trick if we don't get there quick!" "I know Sonic, but considering he made dumb things like the Egg Dealer and how he actually thought a Ferris wheel with a giant eye on it would finish you off, I highly doubt he would do something that sinister." "Yeah, your right. I just enjoy seeing Ro-butt-nik eat my dust before he even sees me." Tails chuckled at that one. As soon as they got there, they would stop Eggman, and celebrate another victory with their friends. ... "Alright Eggman, cough up your hands so we can eat in peace," said Sonic as he got to the Egg Carrier. Suddenly, Eggman appeared in his egg mobile. "Ah Sonic, so glad you could make it. Sonic went up to Eggman and kicked him in the jaw, causing blood to come out his mouth. Sonic then slammed Robotniks head into metal, all the while Tails witnessed it. He pressed the button, causing Sonic and Tails to fall, and cough up blood. Afterwards, he started applying black mascara to her eyes. His ideal image was a goth girl who wasn't really goth. He grabbed a black bottle, but wasn't sure if he should use it. "Hey Twilight? Could I use this black maneliner?" "Is it washable?" "According to the bottle, it says yes." She nodded. Sonic applied the black to the bright purple areas of her mane and tail. After the applying, he waited 30 minutes according to the directions, then grabbed the scissors. He would slowly etch the mare into something beautiful for the special night. He started by trimming the fringe. Twilight felt the trim, but allowed it anyway. 'It did need some trimming anyway.' After that, he parted her fringe to the side. He grabbed the hairspray. According to it, it had the ability to make mares hair grow faster in Equestria. Different than its use in Mobiüs, but Sonic could always use hair gel to make it stick. He sprayed it all over her, making her hair and tail to grow around the same length as Pinkie Pie's when it's flat. "Do you want to see how it's going so far, or would you like for me to continue?" Twilight chose the former, and was given a mirror. She was shocked to see a different mare in the mirror. "Wow, I never knew you could do that good! This mascara and black in my mane is beautiful! Speaking of which, I rock a long mane!" She gave Sonic a kiss on the cheek, while he blushed. He started out by cutting the side part. Well, more like thinning out, since he instead just trimmed out the loose ends. He also grabbed a small portion of it and brought it over to her left eye. He then grabbed some hair gel, and rubbed it over the side fringe, giving it a slick appearance. While styling, Rarity came in to see how it was going. Her jaw dropped at how gorgeous Sonic was making Twilight look. "Dear Celestia! She looks more beautiful than I do!" Sonic smirked, happy he was getting compliments. For the tail, he gave it a style similar to Rainbow Dash's tail. He then grabbed red lipstick and rubbed on Twilight's lips. He then put a necklace on her, and her crown. "Alright, it's all done!" said Sonic. Twilight grabbed a mirror and admired the new look Sonic had given. She wasn't too keen on the lipstick, but it was otherwise great. They then walked back inside, but was stopped by Celestia. Twilight grew worried, but was then pulled into another hug. "Don't ever worry me like that again. You have me and your friends in case of that." Twilight hugged back. "What about my friends?" "They acknowledged it wasn't your fault, and I will have a stern talking with Rainbow Dash about that. For now, you two can go home. Me and Luna will take care of the rest." "Thanks Prin.. er, Celestia." She noticed that Sonic jumped off the balcony with a smirk. She then smirked back playfully. The night before had worn her out so much, she didn't even bother to brush her mane. She just put the back part in a ponytail (not THAT ponytail). She walked downstairs, also noticing that Sonic was as tired as she was. In fact, he was sleeping on a bowl of cereal. With a mischievous smirk, Twilight gently nudged Sonic on his shoulder, enough to wake him up. "EggmAn, iS that YoU?" he said, not noticing he had milk splattered on his face. Twilight laughed at the sight. Sonic was not amused, while he was wiping his face clean. "Har Dee har har Twi. Then again, I probably should of saw it coming." Twilight had a new feeling, not noticing it until last night. Boldness. Even as a princess, she never really felt like that. Not until she met Sonic. He had shown her how she shouldn't be so uptight all the time, and showed her to let go. It was this boldness that gave her the courage to start dating Sonic. She's still the same Twilight, just more loose and "cool" as Rainbow Dash put it. While Twilight was thinking, she stepped on something jagged. "Ow!" "What's wrong Twi?" Sonic asked. "I stepped on a green rock." The words 'green rock' played over in Sonic's mind as he ran over to see what she stepped on. When he saw the titular rock, his jaw dropped in shock. "That's.... that's a Chao Emerald!" Twilight grew concerned. "You mean the emeralds you were talking about?" Sonic nodded. "These jewels contain power that if used in the wrong hands... er, hooves in your case, could bring catastrophic events to the entire world." Sonic noticed that Spike had woken up and was gawking over the emerald in his hand. "What's with that face?" Twilight blocked Spike from the emerald. "Spike, I do not want you to eat this emerald." "But it looks delicious. Besides, what harm could an emerald do?" Spike would have had a point. If it wasn't for Twilight's counterpoint. "An emerald that could bring catastrophe to the world and is an living embodiment of chaos!" Spike blinked. "Did Discord get turn into stone again?" Twilight face-palmed at the statement. "Who's Discord?" Sonic asked. "I'll tell you about him later." Twilight teleported away the Emerald to a safe that Spike couldn't get to. "But now, (yawns) I kinda feel sleepy." Sonic felt a yawn coming in as well. "(Yawns) Now that you mention it, I am feeling..." Both yawners fell asleep on the table. It would have been a cute sight, but none of them were moving, and there was purple mist emanating from them. 'I need to send a letter to Celestia!' Spike thought, as he rushed upstairs. ... The next time the two opened their eyes, it was in a dark and mysterious place. Sonic noticed another thing. Twilight seemed to be all dressed up, wearing a yellow, pink, and white dress, with a crown on and golden sandals. "This seems odd," Sonic noted. Twilight called out into the darkness. "Hello? Is anyone there? Anypony?" Twilight grew irritated. "Show yourself!" Twilight and Sonic heard a sinister voice. "Heheheh, at long last, we meet..." Both turned around to see who said that. Twilight gasped, while Sonic looked on in confusion. "Twilight Sparkle," greeted a long thought dead King Sombra. "What do you want Sombra? And that's Princess Twilight Sparkle to you!" Twilight replied coldly, while Sonic stood still. 'Who is this guy?' Sonic thought. "My mistake. I didn't know we had a new resident of Equestria or a new princess." Sombra put his hoof on Twilight. "Although, I believe that's hardly befitting your stature." Sonic slapped his hoof off in a rather cold way. "The h*** is that supposed to mean?" "Ignoring the rat's rude comment," Sombra said in disgust, "what I mean is, why be a princess," a crown appeared floating over his hoof, "when you could be a queen?" Twilight stared at the crown. "What?" "I could teach you all about the dark arts, letting you rival Celestia herself." 'He's pulling this shtick about not being so different, isn't he?' Sonic thought. 'Where have I seen this before?' "You know, we're not so different you and I. We both..." "Stop right there Sombra!" He was interrupted by a now angry Twilight. "I know where your going with this! Your going to say that we both have the same qualities and such! Well, it won't work! "I got where I am now through love and friendship! You got to it through violence and tyranny!" Twilight jabbed at Sombra while saying this. "Your not the same as me. Not even close." Twilight smirked at this line. "You're just a lame villain straight out of a mediocre fantasy book." "Never thought I'd hear her call a book mediocre," Sonic remarked snarky. Sombra wasn't amused however, as he teleported the crown away. "So, I'm just a lame villain eh? From a mediocre fantasy book? Well then princess," Sombra's eyes went pure green. "How's this for a plot twist?" Black vines sprouted out of the ground. Twilight gasped at this, while Sonic exclaimed. "Son of a *****!" The tentacles wrapped around Twilight and Sonic's body. Her dress was ripped off along with her crown falling out, leaving only her gold shoes and the style her mane was in during the coronation. 'Tentacles. Why did it have to be tentacles?' Sonic thought. Sombra smirked, as he held up Twilight's chin. "Final act. Scene 1. Plucky protagonist dies. Fade to black." Twilight coughed up some blood. "How is that for an ending, Princess?" Twilight didn't reply however. She was certain that she and Sonic would die. 'Make him feel how you do,' a twisted version of her voice told her. 'What?' Twilight thought back. 'He's terrorized you and our friends long enough. Show him to fear us. To fear you.' Twilight grunted, when her eyes opened up, green was filled throughout them, with purple mist flowing. She assumed control of the vines, releasing her and Sonic. She then slapped Sombra with her vines. The impact of the vine sent him tumbling. Twilight landed on the ground, still with dark magic, but the pupils in her eyes returning. She panted while Sonic was groaning at how much the vines hurt. Sombra got up from the impact leaving a scar on his right eye. He chuckled however. "Heheheh. What did I tell you princess. Not so different." This comment angered Sonic. "*******!" Sonic punched Sombra hard enough for blood to drip. "I believe we've had enough talk here." Sombra disappeared, leaving the dream to fade. ... Sonic groggily woke up. He was downright confused what that was all about. He was not, however, prepared for Twilight to scream bloody murder. "I, hurt him," Twilight stated, with a green glow in her eyes. "I took control of the vines and scarred him." Twilight choked at the next line. "And I.... I enjoyed it." Sonic took to account that princess Celestia was standing next to her, comforting Twilight through all of this. "Don't hurt yourself," Celestia said in a soothing voice. "You were just protecting you and your friends." Twilight broke away from Celestia, with a growl. "Oh please, like the Princess of crappy judgement understands actual emotion." Twilight realized what she said, and broke back down into tears. "What's happening to me?" 'This is much worse than I though,' Celestia said to herself. She then noticed that Sonic was prepping himself to run off. "Where are you going?" Sonic turned around with an angry face. "He hurt Twilight, emotionally and physically. For that, I'm gonna kick his ***." Sonic then sped off. Celestia called out to him. "Do you even know where or who Sombra is?!" Sonic turned around, ran back to her, and sheepishly shrugged. Celestia face palmed, but opted to tell him. "King Sombra was a tyrant who was sent by creatures called the umbrum. He grew up not knowing who or what he actually was until one day when he realized his true motives. He then shattered Princess Amore and took over the Crystal Empire, before me and Luna banished him." "Tyrant, umbrum, Crystal Empire. Got it, anything else?" Sonic asked. Twilight perked up at the mention of the Crystal Empire. "I almost forgot about the Crystal Faire!" How hasn't Cadence mentioned it yet?" "So were just gonna ignore the fact that you were tormented in your sleep by an ancient tyrant, all for a fair?" Sonic asked. "I apologize, but until we find any leads that Sombra is alive and lurking somewhere," Celestia coughed. "We can't really do anything about it." "Well that blows. I was hoping to put the hurt on him," Sonic sighed in defeat. "We all know you put the hurt on people like him," Twilight replied snarky-like. "Hey, how else do I knock some sense into baddies?" Things were indeed peaceful. Well, they were if a giant fat man wasn't trying to take over, by sending in Egg Pawns to seize everyone within the city. The fat one was named Dr Ivo Robotnik, or as many like to tease him as, Dr Eggman, mainly because of his egg shape, and his fetish with naming everything he makes after eggs. Is there anyone who can stop this (egg fetish) tyrannical ruler? Well, there is. And he's speeding through the city now! ... A blue streak speeds by the Möbians at the speed of sound. There was no time for relaxation for this hedgehog. He had to get to Eggman fast, or he would fail. "Sonic, can you please slow down? My tails are getting cramped," said a two tailed yellow-orange-ish fox, who was using his twin tails to propel him into the air. "Lighten up Tails! You can keep up with me even without using your tails," replied Sonic while he was running. "Besides, Eggman won't be hesitant to pull a trick if we don't get there quick!" "I know Sonic, but considering he made dumb things like the Egg Dealer and how he actually thought a Ferris wheel with a giant eye on it would finish you off, I highly doubt he would do something that sinister." "Yeah, your right. I just enjoy seeing Ro-butt-nik eat my dust before he even sees me." Tails chuckled at that one. As soon as they got there, they would stop Eggman, and celebrate another victory with their friends. ... "Alright Eggman, cough up your hands so we can eat in peace," said Sonic as he got to the Egg Carrier. Suddenly, Eggman appeared in his egg mobile. "Ah Sonic, so glad you could make it. Meet my newest creation, the Egg-itmate Lifeform!" After Eggman finished, a giant robot covered in curtains appeared. He looked menacing to the normal person, but Sonic wasn't even surprised. "Alright Egghead, enough with the fetishes with eggs and robots, and just surrender. I have a gym meetup at One, so make it quick." Eggman was furious. "It's Robotnik! Now, how would you feel if I said my beautiful creation was powered by your own friends?" Sonic wasn't buying it. "Nice try, like I can know something like tha... Wait, WHAT?!" The robot took off the curtains to reveal that his friends were trapped inside glass tubes, noticing their soul was draining with every second. He noticed all his friends were talking. "Sonic, help us!" yelled Amy Rose. "I wouldn't normally ask this, but you gotta do something!" said Knuckles the Echidna. "Mr Sonic! Save us!" yelled Cream the Rabbit. "Thanks for the help handsome, but I really don't need it," replied Rouge the Bat. "I have a feeling I should make a reference to a computer room," wondered a curious Vector the crocodile, while Espio facepalmed. Tails was shocked and appalled to see this, but Sonic was mad and disgusted by Eggman. "Why would you do this Robotnik?! What have they ever done to you that made you do it?" Robotnik merely shrugged it off. "Meh, I just did it to lure you in. I don't expect them to get badly harmed." They noticed that the friends were withering away. "Kick some Ro-butt-nick for us all," said Amy. "Protect the master emerald," said Knuckles. "See you soon handsome," said Rouge. "I won't make the reference to the computer room!" said Vector. "Goodbye Mr Sonic. We'll miss you," said Cream. As the last of Sonic's friends died, Eggman took a look back. "Huh, that was without doubt, the worst thing I have ever done. Just, wow..." Tails started to tear up as he witnessed his friends pass on. Sonic however turned a dark blue while his eyes turned green with a purple mist. "How, dare you kill the people I loved, YOU MONSTER!!" Sonic went up to Eggman and kicked him in the jaw, causing blood to come out his mouth. Sonic then slammed Robotniks head into metal, all the while Tails witnessed it. "Give one good freaking reason I shouldn't crush your head into a pool of blood right now!" Eggman smiled as he grabbed a gadget from his pocket. He pressed the button, causing Sonic and Tails to fall, and cough up blood. "And just to make sure you don't come back!" he said as he grabbed another gadget and flipped the switch, causing a giant white portal to appear. "What is it?" asked a bruised Tails. Sonic was stunned, as the purple and green eyes disappeared, and his body went back to his normal blue. "I think it was chaos control. Now it seems like something else entirely." The whiteness enveloped Sonic and Tails, taking them to who knows where. ... Princess Twilight Sparkle was taking a normal trot through her castle. It was normal for her to do that while she was reading her book. It wasn't abnormal, but what was abnormal, was how a white light enveloped the place, and after the light disappeared, a blue hedgehog and a yellow-orange fox with two tails appeared, both appearing bloodied and bruised. 'I'm in it for a long day,' thought Twilight. "Is that a purple winged unicorn?" asked the blue hedgehog.

Those days where she just read a book, went to a spa, or just stayed at her castle were normal for the Alicorn. Days where she fought a giant magic stealing beast, or had to go through different alternate worlds, yeah, those were weird. And what started as a normal day for the princess of friendship turned into a weird day where she ran into an anthropomorphic porcupine and fox. Who could talk. "Why is there a purple winged unicorn in front of us?" said the hedgehog. Twilight yelped as she heard the creature talk. She then got into a battle ready stance. "Who are you and what are you doing here?!" Sonic brushed off dust that was on his torso. "I don't know where I am, nor do I know who you are," he grew a smirk, "but I'll give you a fight if you want." Twilight fired a bolt of magic, while Sonic dodged it. "That the best you got?" Twilight gathered up all her energy for another attack. "Firebird Powder!" She said while firing a fire blast. Sonic merely deflected it with an air punch. "Kin Turnabout!" Twilight conjured up a shield to wear down the attack. After the attack, the two were panting out of tiredness. Sonic stepped up. "To be honest, I don't think I've ever came across a talking unicorn Pegasus that looks as cute as you, yet can still hold up her own." Twilight blushed. She wasn't expecting someone whom one moment was battling her, to call her cute of all things the next. "Thank you! And I'm actually an Alicorn." "Alicorn huh? Has a nice ring to it!" Sonic held out his hand. "I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog! Fastest thing alive! And this is my buddy Miles Prower. But people just call him Tails." Twilight held out her right wing. "Princess Twilight Sparkle of friendship. Also part time librarian." She then looked up at the damage to the library. "We're gonna have to fix it..." ... "So what's with the mane? It's so.... straight," joked Sonic. "What?! I like it this way!" yelled an angry Twilight. "I was joshing you!" Sonic laughed. Twilight blushed and laughed at the joke, while Tails had pulled out his mileselectric tablet. "According to the tablet, we seem to be in a world where science is replaced with magic. Frankly, I don't believe that." "Science does exist. It's just, powered by, magic,' said Twilight. Tails facepalmed at that statement while Sonic snickered at the remark. "Magic or not, it is science, so I'll let it slide. As long as you don't tell me you guys use magic to raise the sun and moon or something!" The saddened face from Twilight on that comment made Tails face palm once again. "So do you ever cut your mane?" asked Sonic. "Only when I can't see through the bangs." "You know, I can style your mane for you. I took some styling lessons when I was eight! You'd look a lot better with jagged bangs." "I'll think about it. But now, I think I should introduce you to my friends!" ... Twilight had called a group meeting with her friends, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Starlight Glimmer so they could meet up with her new friends. Spike was watching hoofball with Big Mac. "So Twilight," started RD, "who's these new guys you talked about us meeting?" "I hope these guys are fabulous!" said Rarity. "Ah reckon their gonna be strong like us," replied Applejack. "Oh oh! I have a feeling these new people are gonna need a welcome to ponyville partay!" yelled Pinkie Pie. "I hope they are really nice," said Fluttershy. "Ya know, you guys remind me of my old friends," said Sonic, as he appeared next to Twilight, alongside Tails. The group had a collective gasp. "Oh my goodness! A talking hedgehog!" yelled Fluttershy. She galloped up to give Sonic a giant hug. "Easy there Pink Lemon," said Sonic as he wiggled his way out of Fluttershy's hug. "Oh, my name is Fluttershy." Fluttershy was waiting for the hedgehog to ask for her to speak up. Instead, he actually heard her the first time around. "Oh, well hi there Fluttershy. Name's Sonic the Hedgehog!" Everyone started gathering around Sonic, except for RD, who just came up to Sonic. "And you sure that your not some sort of mutant trying to take over the world?" "Rainbow Dash, that wasn't very nice!" Fluttershy exclaimed. "Sorry," Rainbow reluctantly stated. "So Blue, what's your talent?" "I'm a fast dude, Dashie. Running at the speed of sound!" "Think you could keep up with me?" Rainbow Dash flew off. "Your on!" Sonic ran off. ... Rarity noticed something going on with Twilight. She seemed to be blushing whenever she was near Sonic. Ever since Sonic appeared at her library, she's had a strange infatuation with the blue blur. It wasn't anything she normally felt. It was a strange combination of her love for her parents and her liking of her friends. She didn't know why, but she was intended on finding out. "Your cheeks blush every time he makes a smart remark, and you've been trying to stay near him. The question you asked isn't smart," said Tails. Twilight whacked Tails with her tail. "I am too! So anyways, how'd you and Sonic get here?" Tails then shuddered as he remembered the events of an hour ago. "I, really don't want to talk about it now..." Twilight nodded. "I understand if you don't want to share those. So, who do you think will win the race?" "That rainbow Pegasus, er, Rainbow Dash may be fast, but I have faith in Sonic. Twilight smiled. "You know what, me too." ... A giant black smoke cloud appeared from a cave near Ponyville. From it, a figure resembling a dark stallion with a white mask. "Phase 1 begins now...." ... Two racers were at the starting line. One was a Rainbow colored Pegasus who was the fastest flyer in Equestria. The other was a blue hedgehog who was the fastest thing alive in Möbius. Both were about to have a race to see who was faster. As soon as they glanced at each other, they grinned. "Ready to go fast?" Rainbow Dash said. "I was born fast," replied Sonic. Pinkie Pie was holding the checkered flag. "3, 2, ah who am I kidding, GO GO GO!!!!" As soon as it was said, the two sprinted off. The race had begun. The two racers sped by Twilight's castle, then by Sweet Apple Acres, followed by ending up on a desert. As she looked back, RD noticed Sonic was behind her. "So much for fastest thing alive!" "You were saying?" Dashie was shocked to see the blue blur going faster than her. She couldn't believe her eyes. Not only was he going faster, but he was also running backwards with his arms folded! "How.... How are you doing that?!" "A little thing called multitasking. You should really try it Skittles!" As he said that, the blue hedgehog sped by even faster. However, RD was determined. "Ok, so it was just some jitters that kept me slow. No biggie, I can go faster." She then sped up faster and faster until a boom of rainbows exploded. She was performing the Sonic Rainboom. "Let's see how you can beat that!" After she said it, Sonic sped up and went even faster until a huge white explosion appeared. He was performing a Sonic Boom. "Nice Sonic Boom," he said as he came up to a wide mouthed Rainbow Dash. "Wha.. Wha.... How is that possible?!!" ... The two came to the finish line back at the castle. It was a stalemate. "Dash, I have to admit, you actually blew my mind!" exclaimed Sonic. "Huh?" If anything was true, it was Rainbow Dash who was the most surprised. "Rainbow Dash, I expected you to be cool, but that. That was just awesome!" RD blushed at that. "Well, uh, thanks." Twilight got a face of concern. 'That freaking Pegasus is stealing my hunk,' she thought. She quickly shook those thoughts out of her head. She would never think of that. She then went up to Sonic, and hugged him. "I knew you both could do it!" Sonic was glad. 'She's like Amy, only less clingy and I actually seem to like-like her.' Just as the group was about to celebrate, a dark cloud covered them up. "What's going on?" asked Pinkie Pie. A black stallion with a white mask appeared. He then spoke. "Citizens of Equestria, heed this warning of darkness. For a great ancient evil is about to come out." He pointed at Twilight. As he pointed, a seed of darkness was planted in her. "It could be you." He then pointed at Sonic. "Or him. No one knows." He then disappeared." As the stallion disseared, everyone looked dumbfounded. Even Twilight. At that time, Spike came back to the castle. "Hey Twilight! That hoofball game was great!" He then noticed the blue blur. "Who's that guy?" ... "Ok, so now I get the whole Sonic and Tails appearing thing, but that stallion? I have no idea on that!" No one had an idea on the stallion. He just appeared out of no where, like a deus-ex machima. Twilight spoke up. "Alright, Spike, take a letter to Princess Celestia about it, and Pinkie, you know what to do." Pinkie did know. Since Sonic and Tails had came to Equestria, a welcome party was in order for them. "Yay! And then we can build a house for Spikey and his foxy!" "Oh, actually, we'll be staying with Twilight," Sonic spoke up. Everyone was confused, except for Twilight, who was blushing very hard. "She was the first one me and Tails met, so we would feel at home with her. Don't worry, we won't be of a burden." Twilight straightened up. "Alright, you'll need to get weekly groceries starting now." Sonic grew a smug face. "You help a pretty girl, and they task you with shopping." Twilight smiled and blushed. "Stop that!" 'Somebody's defiantly in love,' Tails thought. ... The dark stallion appears in his cave again. He uses his magic to construct Timberwolves. "Phase 1 is about to come to a close."

He left the place leaving behind 2 gems. Don't ask how he got them. I'm the author, and I don't even know. "Whew. That almost got ugly," he said. "Gotta just say to those who need it. Like Twilight..." He then started blushing, but then heard something. "What are you thinking?! Being in love with a pastel color horse?!" He noticed the voice sounded like Knuckles. He shrugged it off, thinking he's just hearing voices. ... "Are you sure this is safe?" asked Apple Bloom. Diamond Tiara had wanted to try out Scootaloo's scooter, as her mother never let her try out anything fun. "Apple Bloom, I'm sure I'll be fine! Sonic was on his way to Twilight's with the groceries. He had went to 6 different markets to get him. He even had to scam a scammer to get one of the items. But it was worth it. While he was running, he noticed a filly falling off a cliff. He couldn't just run off from it. He put the groceries in his backpack he took with him, and ran to help the filly. He jumped, then air boosted to catch her. The filly opened her eyes to see that she wasn't dead. "Thanks for saving me, um, blue hedgehog?" "Just call me Sonic," he replied, then sped off. ... Twilight was just reading a book when Sonic came back. She noticed how it didn't take Sonic long to get them. "Wow, I knew you were fast, but that was even faster!" "I've fought against tyrannical rulers, a being made of water, and became King Arthur himself. I've also dealt with an ice age business mogul, an ugly Ixis Wizard, and a being feeding off of dark emotions. Giant dogs made of wood, I'm pretty sure I can handle that." Twilight was about to make a counter statement, but she figured that if he did all that, (she'd have to ask about the King Arthur thing) he could take on timberwolves. "Alright Sonic. Just be careful." "Don't you worry Twi!" Twilight smiled and flew off, while Sonic grinned and sped off. ... At the eastern side of Ponyville, there were 3 Timberwolves attacking town hall. There were 5 mares keeping the wooden dogs busy. "Ah can strangle you wusses into next Saturday!" yelled Applejack. "Although a lady doesn't give into violence, lay one claw on Spikey-Wikey and I WILL murder you!" screamed Rarity. "Oh please mister Timberwolf, could you maybe go back to the Everfree Forest and not terrorize Equestria?" asked Fluttershy. "Put 'em up ya big mutts!! For my party cannon!!!!" yelled Pinkie Pie. "I probably should have mentioned it before." Twilight grew an idea. "Sonic, do you think you could distract the Timberwolves for us?" "I could. Old butt smack and boost oughta do that! But how could that destroy them?" "It doesn't. While your doing your... thing... I'll research the spell I found that could temporarily stabilize them for 20 years. We'll have to fight them every 20 years or so, but at least they won't be a threat to Equis till then." "Got it!" Sonic went up to the wolf and stuck his tongue out at it. "Hey timbermutt! I'm the fresh meat you want!" he said, as he slapped his butt. The girls couldn't help but giggle. ... As Sonic boosted around, with the wolves chasing him, Twilight looked through the books she had, when she came across the spell. 'A spell that stabilizes living beings for 5-20 years. The spell can cause extreme danger to whomever casts it, as it requires a lot of dark magic to use, along with the power of all 4 alicorns.' Twilight breathed in, as she closed her eyes, put the Alicorn Amulet around her neck, and thought to herself. 'I hate resorting to this, but my friends need me.' When she opened her eyes, they were green with purple mist flowing out. Applejack thought to herself. 'I'm not sure that amulet is a good idea to wear, but I trust Twilight can handle it. Twilight went up to Sonic and gave him a thumbs up, as he sped away, and Twilight released her spell on the wooden dogs, and they were stabilized. Everyone was happy. "It worked! The spell worked!" All the mares cheered on as Sonic hugged Twilight. "Hey, I thought you hated group hugs?" "Eh, least I could do." All the cheers were soon died down, as the wolves unstabilized, and started moving again. Everyone was shocked at the sight. "H.. How?!?! I did exactly what the book said!" said Twilight. A dark thought appeared in Twilight's head. 'Books can't always be right. If you had more power, you would have been able to KILL it.' The one wolf swung at Twilight, causing her to fall to the ground, with her mouth and a cut in her hoof oozing blood. "Twilight!" Sonic went to up to help her, but also got swung by one, his mouth also bleeding. The wolves went back to terrorizing the mares, while Sonic looked on. He grew angry the more he saw it. 'These wolves are gonna kill my friends.... NO! Not again!' His fur began to blacken, as his eyes began to lose his pupils. "I will not let you kill my loved ones!" He unleashed a wave of Chaotic energy causing the wolves to explode into little remnants. As he saw the wolves gone, his fur went back to its normal color, as he fell to the ground. 'Good...' As everyone looked up, they saw the Timberwolves were gone. They also noticed that Sonic had fallen to the ground. Twilight and Tails ran up to him to see if he was still alive. A simple blink told them he was alive. Twilight started crying, as Sonic held onto her. "I think it's time we told them everything," said Tails.

Just a couple days ago, in his old world, he was hanging around with his old friends, laughing, goofing around, and messing with good old Egghead Robotnik. And now, he had went through two hard life changers with his friend Tails. 'Time to let it all out now,' he thought. ... The mane six, Spike, Sonic, Tails, and Starlight had gathered at the friendship discussion table due to a request made by Tails. "Thank you all for meeting us here today to discuss a subject matter from me and Sonic. Who we are, and how we got here," he said. Sonic looked down with despair, as Twilight looked concerned. "I understand if you don't want to talk about it. It would be a very touchy subject." Sonic shook his head. "No no, it's time we talked about it. The sooner we talk about it, the sooner it will be gone," he smirked. "And the sooner I can make you giggle." Twilight blushed for the 20th time. "Alright. It's time to reveal all..." ... Mobiüs, Sonic and Tails' Past Sonic the Hedgehog was just a young hedgehog. He was born on Christmas Island 17 years ago, and had a young traveler named Tails (age 11) who was Sonic's best friend and sidekick. He didn't mind it though. What he did mind was getting picked on constantly for having two tails behind him. Thankfully, when he met Sonic, he learned to boost his confidence and whenever he gets bullied, he just ignored them. But how did Eggman attacking cause all of this? It was 3 years ago when Eggman first attacked. He took Mobotropolis and caused everyone to flee. "Hurry! He don't have much time!" yelled a voice. It was Rosie, the royal protector of the Acorn family. An invasion had happened, and she was in charge of protecting the 13 year old Sally Acorn. The residents were running for their lives, as badniks and Egg Pawns started taking the castle. "Rosie, am I ever gonna see my dad again?" asked the young princess. "I'm not sure Sally. Right now, he's in the special zone with the Royal Wizard Ixis Naugus, but our top priority is getting out of here and establishing a new home." While everyone was at the new base, a blue hedgehog appeared. He was the same as his newer counterpart, only he was chubby, and had no sole on his shoes. "Huh, so this is the famous Mobotropolis. Looks more robot than I thought." He sped through the robots, releasing small animals as he went through them. He then came up to where a round scientist was, as he was putting animals into robots. He noticed a blue hedgehog had appeared behind him. "Fascinating. A blue hedgehog." "Hey look, a giant talking egg!" Sonic teased. "Silence cretin! I am Dr Robotnik, mad scientist, and future ruler of Robotnikland! Say your prayers!" The hedgehog sped though the obstacles Robotnik set up, than spinned into the Eggmobile. "I'll get you next time!!" "Yeah, what ever you say Eggman!" ... "And that was the first time I had met Dr Fatso himself." Everyone around Sonic chuckled. "So what happened after that?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Next? I beat him again, this time with Tails and the Chaos Emeralds..." "Chaos Emeralds?" asked Twilight. She was worried about how the emerald (that she never heard of) were some how related to the arbinger of chaos, Discord. "It sorta a long story. It depends on how you use them. I gain a super form using them." Rainbow Dash's jaw was wide open. She could go SUPER?! "Then, I went on to beat him multiple other times, with super emeralds that gain me a hyper form..." Rainbow's jaw was even wider. "Uh Rainbow, something wrong?" "You gotta show me those things soon!" she exclaimed. "Anyway, super emeralds, a dark doppelgänger, teamwork, this one crap adventure I can't remember, swearing, a werehog transformation, aliens, my past self, and I also once saved the Arabian Knights, and became King Arthur himself." Everyone was slack jawed. Even Tails, on those last two. After Twilight went back to normal, she was still intrigued. "So when was the first time you experienced that dark state of yours?" ... Sonic had came down towards the lower deck of a ship that Tails was captured at. The Meterex captured him and a girl he had met a couple months ago. He noticed there were red chaos emeralds all around. 'Red chaos emeralds. And I sense they're fake. What effect would they have on me?' he thought. The Meterex had demanded a chaos emerald in turn for the release of Tails. He smirked and picked up one of them. "Looks like I could trick him, and get my pals back." The Meterex had stood in his ship, with Tails and Cosmo in a glass container. "Let me go you beast!!" Tails had tried to break the glass, but every time he did, he ended up smacking himself. "Tails," said Cosmo. "Please stop. I know Sonic will be here quickly." Just as she said that, Sonic walked in, smirking, and holding the emerald. He was about to hand over it, when the alien sensed it, and trapped Sonic. "How did you know?" The alien just pressed the button, causing a sound wave to appear, making Tails cough up blood. It also shocked Cosmo. With both of his friends on the verge of dying because of his mistake, tears welled up in his eyes. 'I can't believe it. My cockiness and weakness is causing my friends to die.' 'No!' whispered a dark voice in his head. 'You are not weak! You must in race you darkness if you ever want to see them again!' When he opened his eyes, they were green with purple mist, and his fur turned a very dark blue. "I WILL NOT LET YOU HURT MY FRIENDS!" ... The place had exploded during the fight. Luckily, the only casualty lost was the alien. Sonic went back to normal, as he picked up Tails and Cosmo, and headed home with them. "There there buddy. I'm there for you." ... Everyone had looked nervous. Sonic and Tails felt a midge of guilt, Rainbow was holding in her "That was AWESOME" to avoid the glares, and everyone else looked confused. You can keep up with me even without using your tails," replied Sonic while he was running. "Besides, Eggman won't be hesitant to pull a trick if we don't get there quick!" "I know Sonic, but considering he made dumb things like the Egg Dealer and how he actually thought a Ferris wheel with a giant eye on it would finish you off, I highly doubt he would do something that sinister." "Yeah, your right. I just enjoy seeing Ro-butt-nik eat my dust before he even sees me." Tails chuckled at that one. As soon as they got there, they would stop Eggman, and celebrate another victory with their friends. ... "Alright Eggman, cough up your hands so we can eat in peace," said Sonic as he got to the Egg Carrier. Suddenly, Eggman appeared in his egg mobile. "Ah Sonic, so glad you could make it. Meet my newest creation, the Egg-itmate Lifeform!" After Eggman finished, a giant robot covered in curtains appeared. He looked menacing to the normal person, but Sonic wasn't even surprised. "Alright Egghead, enough with the fetishes with eggs and robots, and just surrender. I have a gym meetup at One, so make it quick." Eggman was furious. "It's Robotnik! Now, how would you feel if I said my beautiful creation was powered by your own friends?" Sonic wasn't buying it. "Nice try, like I can know something like tha... Wait, WHAT?!" The robot took off the curtains to reveal that his friends were trapped inside glass tubes, noticing their soul was draining with every second. He noticed all his friends were talking. "Sonic, help us!" yelled Amy Rose. "I wouldn't normally ask this, but you gotta do something!" said Knuckles the Echidna. "Mr Sonic! Save us!" yelled Cream the Rabbit. "Thanks for the help handsome, but I really don't need it," replied Rouge the Bat. "I have a feeling I should make a reference to a computer room," wondered a curious Vector the crocodile, while Espio facepalmed. Tails was shocked and appalled to see this, but Sonic was mad and disgusted by Eggman. "Why would you do this Robotnik?! What have they ever done to you that made you do it?" Robotnik merely shrugged it off. "Meh, I just did it to lure you in. I don't expect them to get badly harmed." They noticed that the friends were withering away. "Kick some Ro-butt-nick for us all," said Amy. "Protect the master emerald," said Knuckles. "See you soon handsome," said Rouge. "I won't make the reference to the computer room!" said Vector. "Goodbye Mr Sonic. We'll miss you," said Cream. As the last of Sonic's friends died, Eggman took a look back. "Huh, didn't expect that, but it kinda works. At least you'll suffer!" Tails started to tear up as he witnessed his friends pass on. Sonic however turned a dark blue while his eyes turned green with a purple mist. "How, dare you kill the people I loved, YOU MONSTER!!" Sonic went up to Eggman and kicked him in the jaw, causing blood to come out his mouth. Sonic then slammed Robotniks head into metal, all the while Tails witnessed it. "Give one good freaking reason I shouldn't crush your head into a pool of blood right now!" Eggman smiled as he grabbed a gadget from his pocket. He pressed the button, causing Sonic and Tails to fall, and cough up blood. "And just to make sure you don't come back!" he said as he grabbed another gadget and flipped the switch, causing a giant white portal to appear. "What is it?" asked a bruised Tails. Sonic was stunned, as the purple and green eyes disappeared, and his body went back to his normal blue. "I think it was chaos control. Now it seems like something else entirely." The whiteness enveloped Sonic and Tails, taking them to who knows where. ... Everyone looked on with a hint of sadness. Tails was crying, Twilight was tearing up, Sonic had a look of sorrow, and everyone else was saddened. Sonic got a surprise hug from Twilight. "Sonic, I know you've been through a lot, I understand. We'll work this out, and soon, you'll be back home." "I don't even want to go back. All my friends are gone, and Robotnik has probably taken the city. But I do have new friends here, and a new home." Everyone looked on with happiness. Pinkie's mane went from flat to puffy in zero to no time. "Well, now that the sadness is over, we can finally through Spikey a Party!" Sonic yawned. "Maybe tomorrow Pinks. I kinda got tired doing all that." Tails yawned as well. "We'll see you in the morning." ... "Good night Sonic and Tails," said Twilight. "Night Twilight." Sonic slept on, awaiting whatever life took him next. It didn't matter, as long as he had his friends.

The royal castle in Canterlot wasn't very full at the time. At the most, there were a couple delegates complaining about how better they were, or asking for Royal privileges. The two sisters hated those kinds of people. They always got on their nerves to the point when Luna once suggested they 'release the hounds' on them. While all the idiots were yapping at the complaints center pony, (poor guy) Celestia was in her throne room worrying about her protogy. She hadn't wrote anything to the Royal sisters in weeks, and the last time that happened, Twilight nearly went insane about sending one, so Celestia was worried of an 'Lesson Zero 2.0' happening again. "Sister, what impedes thee? Have thou still worry about Twilight Sparkle?" asked Luna. When Celestia looked at Luna, Celestia had grew a very concerned face, which was normal, still made Luna cringe at the sight. "Do you not know what happened the last time Twilight went a while without sending a letter?! She nearly made all of Ponyville go nuts!!" Luna shook her head. "Haveth you not known that Twilight is a princess now? With her own protogy? Not to mention, you seem to be the only one to continue that." Celestia looked blanked eyed, then smiled. "Whom might I ask is that?" Sonic looked up to the lunar goddess and smirked. "Hmm. I've heard of a white princess who raises the sun, but I don't think I've heard of a dark princess who raises the moon. Tell me, is your name Luna?" Luna's cheeks went red. "How did you know about my name?" "Well it's quite obvious. This Celestia girl is someone who raises the sun. I figure someone who raises the moon is called Luna. Lucky guess?" spoke Sonic in a Japanese like voice. Twilight giggled at the joke, while Luna looked on. "And I guess you two don't have a relationship." Sonic and Twilight's eyes widened. "What, no!" "No no no, we're just friends!" stated an embarrassed Twilight. "We live together because I don't have a home yet!" Sonic defensively said. "How about we experience your thoughts?" said Luna. A cloud of smoke then appeared, with on one end, Twilight tied up. The fire under her was lit and started burning her. Twilight didn't know if it was a prank or not, but it wasn't a very pleasant one. "Help me!" said Twilight, as she started coughing in the smoke. Sonic grew a worried expression. He didn't want to see her dead in his own eyes! He went up and helped her out. "Sonic, why'd you help me out?" "Twilight, you know I'd never leave you do die. I care too much about you to let that happen." "And so, the lesson is learnt," said Luna. She then turned everyone back to normal as the basement of the crystal castle went back to normal. "More like a month, but eh, what'd ya gonna do?" Luna then left the four to look on in happiness, but not before she asked Sonic an important question. "By the way, what is the name blue one?" I kinda have a motherly instinct for Twilight. So, we shall schedule a meeting with Twilight and her new colt friend during this years Grand Galloping Gala?" Luna grew worried again. "About that, it's not a colt she's dating." "She's with a mare? I don't really mind that, just as long as they don't do inces..." "No! It's a being from another world." Luna waited for the backlash, but instead got confusion. "You aren't making much sense Luna. I'll just have to wait until tonight to see what you mean." Luna face hoofed. ... Twilight had woken up from a deep slumber. It was a long night for her and her friends. After hearing Sonic's story of how he got there, she was hoping to have a nice and happy day. However as she came to the kitchen to make some cereal, she noticed Sonic making pancakes and singing a song. "Take a look inside your heart What seems fair today, Tomorrow it may not. You can just make the dress if that's fine," said Twilight. Rarity's jaw dropped. 'Sonic can do mane styles?' She thought. "Yeah, I had to take those classes when I was young," said the blue blur. "I mean, manes are practically the same as hair right?" He got a nod. "I'll handle it." Rarity was gonna argue, but they had a point. Besides, she didn't want to argue with her best friends. So she sighed. "Alright, if you say you can handle it, then I'm alright with it. Just don't do anything drastic?" ... Twilight had sat down in the chair with a cloth covered over her body. Sonic came over with some scissors, a comb, hairspray, and a pack of makeup. She was ready for this. "Alright, before I start, I need to ask a question. Is there a specific style you'd like to have?" he asked. Twilight pondered. She realized that to make Sonic know how much she cared about him, that it wouldn't matter how she looked, just as long as it was from him. "Surprise me." "Alright Sparkle! Your the boss!" Sonic smirked. Sonic started with combing through the mane. He wouldn't do anything big yet, just a little run through. While doing it, he got an idea of what he was working with. Afterwards, he started applying black mascara to her eyes. His ideal image was a goth girl who wasn't really goth. He grabbed a black bottle, but wasn't sure if he should use it. "Hey Twilight? Could I use this black maneliner?" "Is it washable?" "According to the bottle, it says yes." She nodded. Sonic applied the black to the bright purple areas of her mane and tail. After the applying, he waited 30 minutes according to the directions, then grabbed the scissors. He would slowly etch the mare into something beautiful for the special night. He started by trimming the fringe. Twilight felt the trim, but allowed it anyway. 'It did need some trimming anyway.' After that, he parted her fringe to the side. He grabbed the hairspray. According to it, it had the ability to make mares hair grow faster in Equestria. Different than its use in Mobiüs, but Sonic could always use hair gel to make it stick. He sprayed it all over her, making her hair and tail to grow around the same length as Pinkie Pie's when it's flat. "Do you want to see how it's going so far, or would you like for me to continue?" Twilight chose the former, and was given a mirror. She was shocked to see a different mare in the mirror. "Wow, I never knew you could do that good! This mascara and black in my mane is beautiful! Speaking of which, I rock a long mane!" She gave Sonic a kiss on the cheek, while he blushed. Twilight had didn't noticed this, and neither did Sonic, but she suddenly started to enjoy the look of black. "Please continue Sonic." Sonic nodded. He started to do some more trimming. He started out by cutting the side part. Well, more like thinning out, since he instead just trimmed out the loose ends. He also grabbed a small portion of it and brought it over to her left eye. He then grabbed some hair gel, and rubbed it over the side fringe, giving it a slick appearance. While styling, Rarity came in to see how it was going. Her jaw dropped at how gorgeous Sonic was making Twilight look. "Dear Celestia! She looks more beautiful than I do!" Sonic smirked, happy he was getting compliments. "By the way, I came in to ask Twilight what type of dress she wanted." "Black, and gorgeous..." Twilight murmured. The comment just widened the other two's eyes. "Did... Did she just say what I thought she said?" Rarity went back to the dress, while Sonic finished up on the mane. He went over to the other side of the mane, and snipped the ends off, up to the top of her leg. He grabbed some more gel, and slicked it up too. For the tail, he gave it a style similar to Rainbow Dash's tail. He then grabbed red lipstick and rubbed on Twilight's lips. He then put a necklace on her, and her crown. "Alright, it's all done!" said Sonic. Twilight grabbed a mirror and admired the new look Sonic had given. She wasn't too keen on the lipstick, but it was otherwise great. She gave Sonic a full on kiss on the lips, before realizing her mistake. "Oh crap! I'm sorry! I should have asked you it first!" "No no, it's fine. I actually kind of liked it." Both smirked. Sonic grabbed the white tuxedo he was going to wear, and after Rarity finished Twilight's dress, they put on their outfits, and headed for the spa. ... "Wow Twilight, you look absolutely fabulous!" said Rarity. Twilight smiled at the compliment. It helped to see that her friends enjoyed her look. "I'm not supplying you with those stockings you asked for though. They are absolutely dreadful!" The comments caused Sonic to snicker. "One quick question. Why did you rub off the lipstick?" "Rarity, it's just not something I'm interested in. I talked with Sonic about it, and he was fine with it," said Twilight. "Says the girl who thinks black is awesome." The three turned to see Rainbow Dash and Tails in their gala outfits. Rainbow Dash didn't do anything special with hers. Just a simple bun and a rainbow colored dress. Tails wore the same tuxedo Sonic has on, but instead of a bowtie, he had a striped tie. "Let me guess Dashie. You thought I was hunky enough not wait for me?" snickered Sonic. "What? NO! Why would I?! Besides, you've got a thang with Twilight now. I'm surprised you two haven't slept together yet. Then again, Twilight never got drunk." Twilight blushed. "Dont share that with him!" Fluttershy was waiting on her dress to be finished, Applejack had decided to just go normally this year, but did have a clear dress on, and the spa ponies were continuously trying to get Pinkie Pie's mane straight, but every time it happened, it went straight back to being poofy. Rarity went up. "Let me handle it. You just gotta add a little push to it." She pulled all of Pinkie's hair, and patted her hoof through it, creating the straight mane Pinkie had whenever she grew depressed. The spa ponies just stared in awe in what was shown. They then went to work on curling the tips. Meanwhile, the other ponies also stared in shock at how Twilight had looked. "Uh, Twilight?" spoke up Applejack. "What all happened to you?" Her friends cheered on, while Tails cheered through the window. Twilight smirked at her acomplishment. However upon a few seconds later, she felt a bit of queasyness in her stomach. He also noticed Celestia was watching her. "Tia, how has she been doing?" he asked. Celestia sighed. "I saw her run by crying. I noticed there was purple mist coming from her eyes. I tried talking to her, but she just hissed at me before crying harder. What happened anyway?" Sonic grewed worried. "I'd... talk to Dashie about it. Let me see her." Sonic sat down with Twilight. "Twi? Are you ok?" "I'm a monster," Twilight mumbled out. She held her face up. Even after not using dark magic, her eyes were still green and somber. "I lashed out at my friend for a stupid reason and nearly broke one of her hind legs. I don't deserve anything I have." Sonic huffed. "Look Twilight, I'd be lying if I didn't say I had my dark moments in life, but that's it. Everyone has moments when they lash out. No one's perfect. Not even me or a beautiful princess like you. You gotta live life like that." Twilight felt better, grabbed Sonic and hugged him. "Here, hold on." Sonic grabbed the nearest pair of scissors and trimed Twilight's hair back to her original style. They then walked back inside, but was stopped by Celestia. Twilight grew worried, but was then pulled into another hug. "Don't ever worry me like that again. You have me and your friends in case of that." Twilight hugged back. "What about my friends?" "They acknowledged it wasn't your fault, and I will have a stern talking with Rainbow Dash about that. She just put the back part in a ponytail (not THAT ponytail). She walked downstairs, also noticing that Sonic was as tired as she was. In fact, he was sleeping on a bowl of cereal. With a mischievous smirk, Twilight gently nudged Sonic on his shoulder, enough to wake him up. "EggmAn, iS that YoU?" he said, not noticing he had milk splattered on his face. Twilight laughed at the sight. Sonic was not amused, while he was wiping his face clean. "Har Dee har har Twi. Then again, I probably should of saw it coming." Twilight had a new feeling, not noticing it until last night. Boldness. Even as a princess, she never really felt like that. Not until she met Sonic. He had shown her how she shouldn't be so uptight all the time, and showed her to let go. It was this boldness that gave her the courage to start dating Sonic. "Although, I believe that's hardly befitting your stature." Sonic slapped his hoof off in a rather cold way. "The h*** is that supposed to mean?" "Ignoring the rat's rude comment," Sombra said in disgust, "what I mean is, why be a princess," a crown appeared floating over his hoof, "when you could be a queen?" Twilight stared at the crown. The tentacles wrapped around Twilight and Sonic's body. Her dress was ripped off along with her crown falling out, leaving only her gold shoes and the style her mane was in during the coronation. 'Tentacles. Why did it have to be tentacles?' Sonic thought. Sombra smirked, as he held up Twilight's chin. "Final act. Scene 1. Plucky protagonist dies. Fade to black." Twilight coughed up some blood. "How is that for an ending, Princess?" Twilight didn't reply however. She was certain that she and Sonic would die. 'Make him feel how you do,' a twisted version of her voice told her. 'What?' Twilight thought back. 'He's terrorized you and our friends long enough. Show him to fear us. To fear you.' Twilight grunted, when her eyes opened up, green was filled throughout them, with purple mist flowing. She assumed control of the vines, releasing her and Sonic. She then slapped Sombra with her vines. The impact of the vine sent him tumbling. Twilight landed on the ground, still with dark magic, but the pupils in her eyes returning. She panted while Sonic was groaning at how much the vines hurt. Sombra got up from the impact leaving a scar on his right eye. He chuckled however. "Heheheh. What did I tell you princess. Not so different." This comment angered Sonic. "*******!" Sonic punched Sombra hard enough for blood to drip. "I believe we've had enough talk here." Sombra disappeared, leaving the dream to fade. ... Sonic groggily woke up. He was downright confused what that was all about. He was not, however, prepared for Twilight to scream bloody murder. "I, hurt him," Twilight stated, with a green glow in her eyes. "I took control of the vines and scarred him." Twilight choked at the next line. "And I.... I enjoyed it." Sonic took to account that princess Celestia was standing next to her, comforting Twilight through all of this. "Don't hurt yourself," Celestia said in a soothing voice. "You were just protecting you and your friends." Twilight broke away from Celestia, with a growl. "Oh please, like the Princess of crappy judgement understands actual emotion." Twilight realized what she said, and broke back down into tears. "What's happening to me?" 'This is much worse than I though,' Celestia said to herself. She then noticed that Sonic was prepping himself to run off. "Where are you going?" Sonic turned around with an angry face. "He hurt Twilight, emotionally and physically. For that, I'm gonna kick his ***." Sonic then sped off. Celestia called out to him. "Do you even know where or who Sombra is?!" Sonic turned around, ran back to her, and sheepishly shrugged. Celestia face palmed, but opted to tell him. "King Sombra was a tyrant who was sent by creatures called the umbrum. He grew up not knowing who or what he actually was until one day when he realized his true motives. He then shattered Princess Amore and took over the Crystal Empire, before me and Luna banished him." "Tyrant, umbrum, Crystal Empire. Got it, anything else?" Sonic asked. Twilight perked up at the mention of the Crystal Empire. "I almost forgot about the Crystal Faire!" How hasn't Cadence mentioned it yet?" "So were just gonna ignore the fact that you were tormented in your sleep by an ancient tyrant, all for a fair?" Sonic asked. "I apologize, but until we find any leads that Sombra is alive and lurking somewhere," Celestia coughed. "We can't really do anything about it." "Well that blows. For many it was a gorgeous night to either take a peek at the bright stars glimmering constellations, or to take a nice walk throughout New Mobotropolis, and admire how the night can bring some of the most gorgeous and admirable things you could ever see. Things were indeed peaceful. Well, they were if a giant fat man wasn't trying to take over, by sending in Egg Pawns to seize everyone within the city. The fat one was named Dr Ivo Robotnik, or as many like to tease him as, Dr Eggman, mainly because of his egg shape, and his fetish with naming everything he makes after eggs. Is there anyone who can stop this (egg fetish) tyrannical ruler? Well, there is. And he's speeding through the city now! ... A blue streak speeds by the Möbians at the speed of sound. There was no time for relaxation for this hedgehog. He had to get to Eggman fast, or he would fail. "Sonic, can you please slow down? "Alright Eggman, cough up your hands so we can eat in peace," said Sonic as he got to the Egg Carrier. Suddenly, Eggman appeared in his egg mobile. "Ah Sonic, so glad you could make it. Meet my newest creation, the Egg-itmate Lifeform!" After Eggman finished, a giant robot covered in curtains appeared. He looked menacing to the normal person, but Sonic wasn't even surprised. "Alright Egghead, enough with the fetishes with eggs and robots, and just surrender. I have a gym meetup at One, so make it quick." Eggman was furious. "It's Robotnik! Now, how would you feel if I said my beautiful creation was powered by your own friends?" Sonic wasn't buying it. "Nice try, like I can know something like tha... Wait, WHAT?!" The robot took off the curtains to reveal that his friends were trapped inside glass tubes, noticing their soul was draining with every second. He noticed all his friends were talking. "Sonic, help us!" yelled Amy Rose. "I wouldn't normally ask this, but you gotta do something!" said Knuckles the Echidna. "Mr Sonic! Save us!" yelled Cream the Rabbit. "Thanks for the help handsome, but I really don't need it," replied Rouge the Bat. "I have a feeling I should make a reference to a computer room," wondered a curious Vector the crocodile, while Espio facepalmed. Tails was shocked and appalled to see this, but Sonic was mad and disgusted by Eggman. "Why would you do this Robotnik?! What have they ever done to you that made you do it?" Robotnik merely shrugged it off. "Meh, I just did it to lure you in. I don't expect them to get badly harmed." They noticed that the friends were withering away. "Kick some Ro-butt-nick for us all," said Amy. "Protect the master emerald," said Knuckles. "See you soon handsome," said Rouge. "I won't make the reference to the computer room!" said Vector. "Goodbye Mr Sonic. We'll miss you," said Cream. As the last of Sonic's friends died, Eggman took a look back. "Huh, that was without doubt, the worst thing I have ever done. Just, wow..." Tails started to tear up as he witnessed his friends pass on. Sonic however turned a dark blue while his eyes turned green with a purple mist. "How, dare you kill the people I loved, YOU MONSTER!!" Sonic went up to Eggman and kicked him in the jaw, causing blood to come out his mouth. Sonic then slammed Robotniks head into metal, all the while Tails witnessed it. "Give one good freaking reason I shouldn't crush your head into a pool of blood right now!" Eggman smiled as he grabbed a gadget from his pocket. He pressed the button, causing Sonic and Tails to fall, and cough up blood. "And just to make sure you don't come back!" he said as he grabbed another gadget and flipped the switch, causing a giant white portal to appear. "What is it?" asked a bruised Tails. Sonic was stunned, as the purple and green eyes disappeared, and his body went back to his normal blue. "I think it was chaos control. Now it seems like something else entirely." The whiteness enveloped Sonic and Tails, taking them to who knows where. ... Princess Twilight Sparkle was taking a normal trot through her castle. It was normal for her to do that while she was reading her book. It wasn't abnormal, but what was abnormal, was how a white light enveloped the place, and after the light disappeared, a blue hedgehog and a yellow-orange fox with two tails appeared, both appearing bloodied and bruised. 'I'm in it for a long day,' thought Twilight. "Is that a purple winged unicorn?" asked the blue hedgehog.
