After finding out that her girlfriend was joining the military, 19 year old Alley decides to live her own life as well. After finding out that she was accepted into her dream college, she quickly packs up and ships out of the small town of Ponyville and into the great city of Oakland.

There she meets her spunky new roommates who show her things she had never experienced before; and soon Alley finds out that the real world was harder then she thought.
