Here I sit, looking at these tombstones.
It's poring down with rain and yet I look back at the cold, silent graves, wishing the eternally sleeping occupants to come back to life.
The cold water drips down my sodden rainbow bangs and I shiver as my breath exhales in a misty fog.
Tears run down my face as I recall the series of events that led up to me being here, with nothing but dark and still stones for company.
Every once in a while, lightning flashes overhead, lighting up the graves in front of me.
One stone with 3 party balloons.
One stone with 3 red apples
And the last one that still brings waves of agony to me as I gaze at the image displayed upon it.
A big, illuminating sun, one half golden yellow, the other, crimson red.
I wrapped my arms around my knees in an attempt at warmth amid the cascading down pour.
"I'm so sorry Sunset." I whisper in the stillness surrounding us. "Please forgive us."
My eyes close as reality becomes too much to bear and I gradually fade away into darkness.
