Gear Chronicles: Gear's Domain

"No no no!" said Gear as a small flichering flame begain to grow

Gear watched in horror as the fire engulfed the house. All he could

hear where screams in the building by the time the fireponys got

to the house all that was left was him and his friends covered in ash

and smoke. "Huh huh huh!" gasped Gear waking up to the bed of

the orphanage, he sat up looking around to see his friends, they were

Twisting and turning with frowns, "probably have the same dream."

Gear sighed to himself. Gears dident understand he had never seen

the house in his dreams, as for as long as he could remember he had

Been in the orphanage. Gear for out of bed, heading down stairs to the dinning room in the orphanage.

It was OK, but small for the table and benches so far there was only about 12 foals and about 2 marrs and 1 stallion. The orphanage was fine but he mostly liked it when he was alone and was able to get his hoofs on some clockwork.

"Gear." Said a voice behind him. Gear turned around to see one of the mares who run the place the nice one,

the other mare was mean to him because he had ruined a clock by taking it apart, the stallion was downright

hostile mostly when he mentioned any thing about family or fathers. "Gears..." Said the mare again

"Yes?" Gear replayed "someone want to see you in about 5 minutes so be ready OK?" Ask the mare "OK." Gear replayed. As soon as the mare left, he got out of bed and sneaked down the stairs stoping by the door the sepperated the entrance and the stairs, he hears, "So how are Gearin's son and and the two foal doing?" Said the unknown voice "Fine Gears has show sighns of interest in clockwork but has not shown sighny of insanity yet," "Why are keeping this maniac's son here princes?" Said a voice clearly belonging to the stallion that helped run the place "Because we need to make sure the kid dose not go down the path his father did."

the princes said in a firm voice "Also I want him to start school."

"WHAT????" Said the mare and stallion that he could hear in the room
