Steel Breaker

Twilight's Castle

8:00 A.M

Morning, the hardest time of the day. After me and Twilight had our fun, we fell asleep with Twilight in my arms.

Anyway, I had to get up, even if every fiber of my being thinks otherwise. Sitting up, I had stretched with loud yawn. I stood up from the bed and felt the cold morning air.

I groaned as I remembered that I had slept without clothes so it would've been obvious to me why I felt cold. Moving towards my dresser, I opened it up. While searching for what to wear, I heard the bathroom door open and Twilight walked.

I heard her whistle as she saw me, making roll my eyes with a chuckle.

“Stare at my ass all you want, but you ain't getting it...yet.” I said with a laugh as I started to put on some clothes. I heard her chuckle at my joke.

I then felt her wrap her still wet arms around me, pressing herself against me. Great, now my back is wet.

“I can't help it and you know that.” I heard her as she placed her head on my shoulder. Turning my head, I kissed her cheek as she pulled away.

“Morning.” I said to her as she walked towards her dresser and I'm sure she knew I was staring by the fact that she dropped her towel and started swaying her hip on the way towards her dresser.

“Teasing aside, when are your parents arriving?” I said to her. She stiffened at the mention of her parents but continued on and started to get dressed. She didn't answer, too early maybe.

I put on snow camo shirt and some black jeans. Twilight put on a magenta shirt with the words Magic, nuff said and skinny torn jeans.

We headed to the dining hall for breakfast and picked up Nyx and Scoots on the way.

We ate breakfast, discussed today's agenda and chatted with each other. Then my nieces showed up, slamming the door opened they flew in as they played tag and Liberty was the one trying to catch them.

I clapped my hands together, making the four fillies stop in midair and look at me. They then shrunk under my disapproving glare and landed near their mother.

Spike walked up behind Chrysalis with Kate following behind and gained Chrys’ attention.

“Morning to you all.” I said to them, earning a reply from all of them minus the sadden fillies. They apparently don't like it when I'm mad at them.

I stood up and walked towards the three sadden fillies and crouched down. I then embraced them while telling them never to do that again.

“Okay.” I heard them say simultaneously. I straighten up and nodded as they flew to their mother.

I walked back to Twilight.

“You never told me at what time your family would arrive.” I said to her.

“They'll be in town in a few hours, four hours max.” She answered me. I nodded and kissed her before leaving the room with Scootaloo following behind.

It was clear sunny day, almost no clouds were visible in the sky. You're probably wondering Where's the Iron Patriot of Equestria, Liberty Prime? Your answer, he's been shut down and placed in the workshop of the castle. I plan to use Liberty for non-lethal purposes.

Anyway, it was time for Dash’s early shooting lessons. She might've pissed me off and I punished her with an early lesson.

Though, I'm sure she'll enjoy the gun she'll be using. I brought my old Gauss Rifle with me to see how well she can handle a gun with a strong kickback.

“So, can you tell me about your brother? Like good times you've had and stuff like that.” I heard Scootaloo say as she sat on a large rock. I used the gun as leverage so I could lean on it and looked at Scootaloo as I did so.

“Sure, I mean he and I had a decent childhood, a funny one at that. Like this one time, it was his turn to cook dinner and after he left dinner cooking, he went to his room to work on a school project and when he walked out, his hand was covered in oil and once his hand was close enough to the stove, it lit his hand on fire and be ran around the house screaming Mommy, I'm on fire!” I said to her, she laughed at that.

“How old was he!?” She laughed out.

“Sixteen if I'm not mistaken.” I said with a few chuckles of my own. She laughed for a whole five minutes while I waited for Rainbow to arrive.

“But why is he like how he is now?” I heard Scootaloo ask after a few more minutes of silence.

“It's..not my place to say but it started when his wife died and went downhill from there.” I said to her. She was about to ask another question but was cut off by the sound of wings flapping.

I looked up and saw that Dash finally arrived.

Salvador De Rivera

Voices, yells, shouts and mumbles was all I could hear but one stood out from the rest.

“You're not my brother!  You're a monster, a fucking drunken, chem addicted monster and I will not be known as the one related to such a thing!” He was right. Steel’s always right. Why didn't I grant my sons last wish? Why wasn't I the better man and let Kellogg go?

What would Nora think of me now? She'll probably divorce me if she had the chance.

Walking down a path carved through my sorrows, seeing my sins. A disgrace, that's what I am. Mother would disown me like Steel had done, deny my existence and hate my very being.

Regrets, I have many for I think before I act but chose to ignore the pain and continue my journey along the darken path I carved.

Love. It is something I might never achieve. Nora, if I could turn back time and save you, I'd do it in a heartbeat but time isn't a toy for mortal beings.

Would your love for me die if you were to see me again?

Walking along this darken path that I carved with my sorrow, I never knew pain until I realized what I have done.

The merchant. He is to blame for everything. No, no, no, His actions had nothing to do with mine. Perhaps...perhaps he tried to reunite me with my Brother.

Brother. A word, a title, a name for one who is born from your kin. A title I have lost.

Mutters, whispers and hushed voices clouded my hearing. Familiarity around the area was the only thing I felt.

Walking down this darken path that I carved through my sorrows. A lonely road, the lonesome road, The Divide.

Memories of a distant past, one I have yearn to go back to.

Walking down the lonely road, the only road that I have ever know for I know where it goes. The road I have carved through my mistakes, over the path of sorrow and into my blackened heart.

Salvador.” Nora? Looking around, nothing but looking down the darken road, I saw her. Nora.

Walking towards the only thing in my sight, towards the one I truly loved.

“Salvador, you must not stay in the past.”

Nora?

Move on and live the life you yearned for. Move on and find love again.”

No! You're the only one I could ever love. I will not betray your love!

“If you do love me, then you must accept the truth and move on.”

But-

“Do it please, for me.”

Only now I felt true pain, accepting the fact that I'll never see her again but nodded.

“Now, wake up.”

“Salvador, it's almost noon. I don't think it's good to oversleep.” I heard the voice of my caretaker. Her voice, it reminds of her.

“Nora?” I said through my groggy state but I could tell that the pegasus knew not of the one I mentioned. I rubbed my eyes as I sat up.

I then turned my head to see Fluttershy but my beak came into contact with her muzzle. That woke me up completely.

Pulling back with a race face, I could see that Fluttershy was in the same state.

“S-sorry, I didn't know you were that close.” I said to her.

“N-no no, it was my fault. I'm going to feed the animals.” She said as she hurried out the door.

Standing up and placing my left hand over my eyes in the form of a face palm, I let out a groan as I walked into her kitchen.

Before I had went to sleep last night, she had said that I could help myself with anything that I could make in her kitchen.

While making a regular sandwich, I swore I could hear a voice.

‘It's feels good to help but it cramps my style, Lulu!’ I stopped and looked around but found nothing then continued on.

Steel Breaker

Three hours after Dash’s arrival

It's been three hours after Dash’s humiliating lessons. She couldn't keep herself from falling backwards every time she shot the Gauss rifle.

Me and Scoots had went over to Sugarcube corner, where I had met Mr and Mrs Cake. They had gotten back from their three month long vacation, which meant they haven't been around during the incident.

Anyway, me and Scoots had asked for a sunday and left after paying. Now, I was on my way back to Twilight's castle with Scootaloo eating the Sunday between my shoulders.

Of course she shares a few spoons, sometimes but I don't mind. We arrived at the castle doors, seeing a few guards posted out in front.

“Halt!” They said, crossing their spear to block my path.

“We don't allow you insects near the prince-” Asshat number one was knocked out and I turned to Asshat number two. He looked at me with wide eyes as I rolled my eyes and faked a punch.

He flinched and lost consciousness.

“Rule number one?” I said to Scoots as she kept eating the ice cream.

“Don't make you angry.” She said with her mouthful.

“Numero dos?” I asked again. She sighed as she took another spoonful and lowered the spoon towards my mouth. I opened it and she dumped the ice cream inside.

“I scream.” I said opening the door, dragging the two unconscious guards with it.

“You scream!” Scootaloo shouted with enthusiasm.

“We all scream for Ice cream!” We both shouted as the door closed behind us.

Twilight Sparkle

Meanwhile

I sat on one of the many chair in my personal study with both my parents sitting in front of me. Cadence and Shining were here too with guards...oh boy.

“So, Twilight. I keep hearing that you're dating somepony. Has a stallion finally swept you off your hooves?” Cadence asked me.

“You could say that.” I kept my answers vague for now until Steel gets back.

“Is he good stallion? Does he treat you with respect? Has he cheated on you?” My dad, Nightlight asked me.

“No, that's seventeen times I've answered you.” I said to him. Shining hasn't said a thing and more importantly, he hasn't let go of his sword.

“Well, whoever he is better b-”

“In a nutshell, that's what a Deathclaw is. All I want to know is who's idea was it to make them? I mean really, a super soldier that would replace pony soldiers.” I heard Steel’s voice coming from the other side of the door.

“Maybe they were just weird, you know.” I heard Scootaloo’s voice as well. I smiled as they walked through the door but that soon changed when I heard glass breaking.

I looked at the source and saw that mom had dropped her teacup in shock.

“Hey, Twi.” Steel greeted before kissing me. He then looked at the group and waved casually before sitting down next to me.

Steel Breaker

“Don't let me interrupt your conversation.” I said to the ponies staring at me

“Twilight. What is that thing doing here?” I heard the blue maned unicorn ask through gritted teeth.

“I live here.” I answered simply.

“Bullshit.” He retorted as he pointed his sword at me. Twilight was about to remove said sword but I took hold of the blade.

“You must be Shining armor, the brother of my marefriend and if you insult me on more time..” I said bending the blade into a curve before snapping it off.

“Now sit down, listen and shut up.” I said to him, not even trying to hide my disgust towards him.

He sat down, muttering insults before getting kicked in the shins by the pink Alicorn. Looking at said Alicorn, I bowed my head.

“You must be Mi Amore Cadenza, Princess of Love. C'est un plaisir de vous rencontrer.” I greeted her. She smiled and looked at Twilight.

Looking over to the two older couple.

“My name's Steel Breaker and you are?” I said, standing up and offering my hand. The light grew mare took my hand and shook it with a large smile.

“Twilight Velvet, Twily’s mother.” She said before letting go. The stallion stood up with a grunt and took a firm hold of my hand.

“Nightlight, Twilight's father.” He said before pulling me close.

“And if you ever hurt my daughter, you better pray to Celestia’s light that I'd never find you.” He said in a whisper.

“Then I'll be sure to shoot you on sight.” I said with a smirk, earning a laugh from the stallion.

“You've got guts, kid.” he said as he patted my right arm, earning a metal slap. He held his hand in minor pain and looked at me in confusion.

“First of all, don't call me kid, like ever. Second, next time…” I said, rolling up my right sleeve, revealing the metal arm. “Try looking at my hand first, kay?” I said before patting his shoulder and sitting back down next to Twilight and Scootaloo.

“Twi.” I said, gaining her attention.

“Where's Nyx?” I asked her.

“She's playing with Chrysalis’s fillies outside.” She answered.

“Cool. So, Scoots would you rather sit here and listen to boring adults talk or go out-” Without even finishing the sentence, she was already long gone. “Side…” I finished saying, stunned by her incredible speed before shaking my head and looking at the group.

“So...any questions.” Regrets. I have many, this is one of them.
