Twilight Sparkle walked down the poorly-lit corridors of the Golden Glory Manor.

"Sure is creepy," she told herself, remaining aware of the obscure surroundings. She remembered that the Charcoal couple had died in this mansion. They were a mare and a stallion, and were a cute couple by everypony else's eyes. Geeky Roselle Charcoal and athletic Treehouse Charcoal were polar opposites, but somehow remained a couple.

That was until they attended a wedding in Canderlot and got murdered.

Many ponies in their own curiosity wondered through the mansion with permission from the mayor of Ponyville. Every time, that pony disappeared mysteriously, and never returned. That's when Twilight Sparkle, the princess of friendship, had the guts to enter the mansion and see what was up. Rainbow Dash, Spitfire, and Pinkie Pie set up a camp near the mansion. Back at the campsite, they were discussing their plans.

"It was nice of you to let me in on this," Spitfire said to Rainbow Dash. They were sitting around a small table that they had sat within the camp. In the middle of the table, alongside maps of the Golden Glory Manor, was a walkie-talkie that the three were going to use to talk to Twilight.

Rainbow chuckled. "Not a problem." She looked to Pinkie Pie. "Hey, will you check the walkie-talkie so we can assure it works?"

Pinkie Pie did a salute. "Yes ma'am!" She grabbed the device and talked in it. (Well, screamed.) "TWILIGHT OH MY GOSH HAS A GHOST KILLED YOU YET?!?!"

In the mansion, Twilight had heard the statically linked voice of Pinkie Pie through her walkie-talkie. She sighed, and spoke through it: "Geesh, calm down Pinkie. I nearly had a heart attack!"

Pinkie chuckled. "Heh, sorry. I'm just a bit worried about you. This is the first time I've been ghost hunting!"

"We're not ghost hunting," Spitfire remarked sharply. "I don't think this place is haunted. If you ask me, there's probably a figure lurking through its halls, killing every soul that enters its realm."

Rainbow picked up the map for the first floor of the mansion. "Well, I think we should get down to business. Hey Twi, have you found anything mysterious while looking around?"

"Not really," Twilight's voice spoke from the device. "Just dark corridors. I can smell danger from a mile away -- I don't feel safe at all while walking."

        "How about ghosts?" Questioned Pinkie.

"... No." Twilight said in cognizance. "I mean -- kind of. I feel oddly unsafe, as I said before, and it feels as if somepony could be watching me. But that's probably the really dark halls talking."

        "THE HALLS ARE TALKING?!"

"Pinkie, it's an expression!" Spitfire screamed over. "She means that the darkness of the halls are making her feel as if they are talking. But they aren't. Literally. Talking."

The two mares started arguing, and Twilight turned her walkie-talkie off. She continued to walk until she came to the end of the corridor. There stood a door, and as she approached it, it opened slightly with a creak.

She then stood still like a statue.

"Buck this," she whispered to herself. But as she turned around, a tall, dark figure of a stallion stood.

Twilight's pupils shrank as she began to back away from the figure.

"Um, nice pony... " Twilight cooed, knowing that her cooing would do no good. Before she was able to perform a transportation spell, the stallion tackled her to the ground. She felt a needle enter her neck, and she passed out.

Many minutes later...

PINKIE PIE: HEY TWI! YOU THERE?

RAINBOW DASH: WE'VE BEEN TRYING TO COMMUNICATE TO HER FOR HOURS. FORGET IT!

PINKIE PIE: (gasps) WHAT IF SHE'S DEAD?

SPITFIRE: SHE PROBABLY MISPLACED HER WALKIE-TALKIE. DON'T WORRY.

PINKIE PIE: DON'T WORRY?! WHY YOU LITTLE PIECE OF--!!!!!!
