//-------------------------------------------------------// Equestrian Future -by Discord97- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Waking Up //-------------------------------------------------------// Waking Up PROLOGUE Twilight focused pushing forward as her horn started to smoke with no glow, she was fighting trying to make it spark despite the magic canceling atmosphere of Plutaren. The unicorn continued to push as her head felt like it was on fire, her teeth began to clench and her hooves loosing grip on the ground. Discord watched and stood back as a spark of magic flickered from the unicorns horn, was she going to do it? Discord leaned in along with the rest of the prisoners there. The room was silent as she began to wine from the pain of fighting to create magic. "Come on! Just one spark, just one spark!" Twilight slipped as she was getting weaker now, there was no way you could fight a planet could you? There was just no way, Twilight walked forward as her horn began to spark more now. Discord shook his head as the door showed no signs of opening. Twilight groaned and whined as she pushed harder to make magic happen, in her mind it was the only way they would get this sealed door open. Plutaren doesn't have much for technology besides the prisons doors but the unicorn continued to try getting weaker with ever second that past. The prisoners watched in shock of the strength the small mare was showing, Twilight fell to the ground and Discord quickly caught her so she wouldn't smack her head on the rock surface. Twilights horn was still smoking and she kept her eyes closed staying absolutely still now, Discord placed his robotic claws over her chest and he frowned at the sight of his friend so weak and powerless. "Discord....I...." "No Twilight, you don't need to tell me anything" Discord smiled sliding the metal talons in her mane, he chuckled a bit before he felt the unicorn placed a hoof on his cheek. "Twilight you did what you could...nopony is strong enough to use magic on a planet like this one, its a forbidding place" Discord closed his eyes and as he did every prisoner in the area gasped as Twilights horn quickly began to light up from tip to base with magic. The unicorn opened her eyes and looked at the door. "I got it Discord....I-I Got it" the door shook before making a beep, a loud hiss was made as the door was forced to unseal from Twilights desperate spell. As soon as the door began to open the unicorns horn sparked and went dim. Discord opened his eyes and looked at the open door. "It looks like magic does work here, Discord, come on lets turn those things off" Twilight smiled as her suit beeped and the helmet once again slung over and covered her face. With the same robotic like voice she spoke to the draconequus, "Lets go" CHAPTER ONE It was faint and weak but it was there. The steady beat like a heart but it was only a beep, beep, beep, Twilight moved on the metal table more now as the heat rushed over her body. It was sensational like she was outside in the snow without a scarf and she had just entered Fluttershy's warm cabin. However, it wasn't that at all, as the unicorn opened her eyes she was met by large robotic arms poking at her front hooves, Twilights eyes widened as she saw the large poking arms come down from the ceiling. Now shocked awake she backed up on the table until she found herself falling to the floor. "GAHHHH~!! Get away from me! Help!" Twilight squealed and moved across the floor to the wall, the arms turned with a light hiss from the robotic gears twisting. Twilight shook her head as they came closer again, Twilight smacked her own head in hopes she was dreaming. Where did that thing come from. "Wake up, wake up, wake up!" Twilight turned away smacking her head a bit harder she fell over whimpering in pain. Her hoof had caused herself to fall to the ground, the pain was great, it felt like somepony took a hammer to her head and swung. The robotic arms jumped forward and one grabbed her by the back hoof lifting her off the ground, Twilight wiggled clueless as too what was going on, the other grabs her front hoof and pulls it close to a smaller arm in the middle. Twilight began to breath heavy breaths as she saw it, her hoof was glowing at the bottom of the hoof and it wasn't the leg she was born with either. Feeling light headed she stops struggling at the sight of her new front hooves. They were metallic and a bright purple, she looked like a comic book character. Thats the closest thing she could come up with, she remembered spike reading a story about a half metal mare, she was robotic on one half and flesh on the other. Fortunately for Twilight she noticed it was only her front hooves that appeared to be robotic. The small arm cause a spark on the arm and then she was dropped to the floor. "Thank you for your patiences, Twilight Sparkle, please wait for your doctor and remain in this room, thank you" The arm lowers down to her level and a red light turns on scanning the unicorns right iris. Twilight dashes back from the light, the arm reacts and pulls her back making her open her eye. Twilight's ears pinned back as the light blinded her right eye, she shook her head around to clear her vision as soon as the thing let her go, "You are stressed, as a doctor I am advised to give you this cookie~" a cookie then fell down from above landing on Twilights nose causing the unicorn to grunt taking the cookie with her magic she looks at the arms, she couldn't help but wonder why she was dreaming this. This dream was so real, she could feel the cold metal and she felt the pain of falling to the floor after the robot dropped her. Twilight looked at her own two hooves as she levitated the cookie next to her. They were so cool too her, the shiny metal and electronic rubber wires.  "You are welcome, enjoy your cookie" Twilight froze and looked to the arms again. "You can talk? Who is my doctor? Where am I is a better question and why do I feel so damn cold" Twilights teeth began to chatter against each other and she looked up at the arms once again as she shivered. "Yes, speaking is one of many things I can do as your personal robotic doctor. Your pony doctor is subject numbered for protection, number is 247-189311, you are located in a holding cell for medical attention and the temperature is stable, shivering is a side affect of waking up from being frozen for so long, Twilight Sparkle"  Twilight looked around and began to recognize something about the room, something about it seemed so familiar to her. "Thank you for your patiences, Twilight Sparkle, please wait for your doctor and remain in this room, thank you" Twilight shivered and nodded and rolled her eyes as the arms repeated its first words to her again. She pondered, frozen? What did it mean by that, ice cube frozen or frozen in fear. "I was frozen...frozen like an ice cube?" Twilight asked looking at the arms wanting to understand her dream a bit more depth so she could share it better when she woke up. The arms began to rise up into a hole in the ceiling saying one last thing to Twilight. "If you were an Ice cube you would be dead, you were sleeping frozen" Twilight got up and dropped the cookie she was given to the floor trying to grab the arms, "Do not grab, that is against your protocol and could result in injury, I have many moving parts wouldn't want to loose your arms a second time" the arms quickly shot up into the ceiling and Twilight stomped a hoof. "Hmmmmmf, I will have my arms back when I wake up , robot! Tell me whats going on right now!" Twilight looked up at the ceiling with a raised brow before frowning, "I mean, come back....you were interesting to talk too...now its just me and the" Twilight looked around and sighed "The walls" Twilight sat down looking at the cookie that lay on the silver floor, "Well I guess I have you, like it matters, your not a real cookie" Twilight used her hoof and pushed the cookie across the floor away from her, "I will eat you later, right now, I need to figure out where I am" ........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Twilight stopped pacing figuring out the room was exactly what it looked like, a boring room with a floor, four walls, and a roof. There were no windows and only one door that was so not opening. Twilight tried a couple times but it would not budge. Twilight rested her head on the the wall he door was on, this was turning into one boring dream, she was sitting here doing nothing. She wasn't dream flying, falling, or having a tea party. This sucked! "Oh yeah, so glad to be here in this silver room! Why can't I leave? It's my dream" Twilight stopped and thought on that, she had always been in control slightly in her dreams. If she didn't like something she would always change it, you can do anything in your dreams and your always in control. "This is suppose to be my dream, why can't I do....hmmmmm" Twilight shrugged and used her magic to pick up the cookie ready to take a bite, she stopped. "Luna....Luna oh thank Celestia your here! I knew you would come, I tell you this...I have never had a dream like this before" She nudged the Alicorn as she walked into the door that was locked now in the room with Twilight, the mare smiled at Twilight with a tear coming down her cheek. "Borrrrinng dream" Twilight takes a bite of the cookie and smiles, Luna sniffles and shakes her head. Twilight stopped chewing as her vision went blurry. Luna wiped her own cheek clean of the tear and smiled. "No....now you dream, goodnight Twilight~" Luna stood back as the Unicorn began to wobble in her steps, Twilight looked at the cookie then to Luna. "Luuunaa, what is going on!? I don't....feeel so...good" Twilight fell over and slowly closed her eyes, the cold floor against her face she saw Luna take a couple steps closer and two armored stallions walked into the room, they were both hard to make out but they were holding something , a weapon perhaps. Luna knelt down now face to face with the drugged mare. "We will meet again very soon, Twilight, I know sleep is the last thing you need but we need you too do it just one last time" Luna giggled and tried not too tear up again, "Goodnight Twilight" //-------------------------------------------------------// Equestrian Future //-------------------------------------------------------// Equestrian Future The engine roared causing the unicorn to wake up in the pilots seat, rubbing her head she let out a groan of annoyance. The windshield of the craft was frozen over already so Twilight quickly started the thaw process letting out a shiver of cold breath. Twilight had just woken up from a dream, it was once again about her legs. She had that one the most but didn't understand why. It had been a week sense she arrived here, sense the truth was told. About where she was, the future and her new life. Twilight rubbed her side against a side panel just behind the pilots seat as she got up and a Mic popped out form the wall and she spoke. "Triton, this is Twilight Sparkle. I would say I am descending from the lower level" Twilight shook her head and closed her eyes waiting for the voice on the other end to speak back. "This is Twilight, its freezing out here!" Twilight sat and rolled her eyes once again as no pony answered. Twilight forgot to mention she was returning home, Triton was the planet she lived on. The planet was completely ice blue and had no rotation. The planet itself on the surface was too cold for it to be livable. Up in the sky however it was warmer, so the explorers of the past who discovered Triton decide to build there. Twilight lived in one of those towns, suspended over a icy death. "I'm returning home!!" Twilight tapped the mic and thats when another pony answered. "Well why didn't you say so, haha~" The pony laughed and tapped the mic back. "Alright your ready to dock to platform B, thank you and stay cold" Twilight rolled her eyes again and frowned looking over at her dashboard and climbed back into the pilots seat. The windshield was thawed halfway, it was as far as it was going to get  do to the cold winds Triton was creating today, Triton was deadly but it sure was a beautiful planet and Twilight was reminded that every time she came back home. Celestia and Luna both decided that this planet was the best for her, it was isolated and she could do her own thing for awhile. They also figured she could pay her far late respects to her friends. Twilight was all that was left of her friendships she created in the past. Rainbow, Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, Spike, and Fluttershy were all gone. Twilight teared up already as she remembered when the news was broke to her about it. Like waking up in the future wasn't mind blowing enough. Every time she went to sleep these past few days she would remember them, she would think about them, her friends were everything to her and a life without them just didn't seem worth it. Celestia had told her that Tritan was only going to be temporary as things were set up, Twilight never thought to question what those things were. Twilight's ship then lowered itself down to the dock and quickly latched itself onto its side, Twilight moved quickly to the exit of the ship and pulled up her ear muffs, it was going to be a cold walk to the front of her home. This home, well it was called that but it sure didn't look or feel like one, not like the Oak Tree back in Ponyville. Twilight rushed out the door and the wind was howling and trying to push Twilight off the platform but with no success. "I hate it here!" Twilight screamed to herself as she reached the door and pushed it open, "Why the cold planet, why a different planet at all!? I want to go home, home, not to this place" Twilight quickly pulled off her scarf and grunted to herself. The room was all white with household items laid around, there were only to rooms, living area and sleeping area. Twilight looked at all the items as she did yesterday and let out a long whine. She had no idea how to work anything. The future was weird and full of new things, a coffee machine on the counter was the easiest thing Twilight found. Everything else from the television to the sink was hard to use. Twilight was surprised to see all the things the future had to offer but she felt it was all pointless. ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ Twilight moved her hoof over the coffee cup making a circle above it, the steam was flowing up and swirling like a tornado with her hoof. Twilight wasn't sure how long she was sitting at the table but it felt like forever and her coffee was still too hot to drink. Twilight stared into the brown liquid inside and thought to herself as the robotic hoof continued to make a circle on the rim of the mug. Why did she have these new arms? What happened to her original body? "Why do I have too keep waiting? Celestia has never been this vague with me" Twilight thought back to the words the Princess told her, "You must wait, I will come to you when your needed. Stay warm..." Twilight stood up and slowly walked over to one of the windows, outside the world below was experiencing a storm. The same storm it has had sense the beginning, Twilight sighed and shivered just looking down at it. "Why this place? Why can't I just go home to Golden Oaks!? That's home, not this ice cube!" Twilight lightly slammed her mug down on the windowsill and rolled her eyes in frustration.  Twilight flung her head back and let it hang over the back of the chair so she was now looking up at the ceiling, when she was small she remembered always dreaming of what this time would bring, what did the future hold for ponies. Sitting on a cold planet dangling over an instant death was not something she was dreaming for. Twilight's horn sparked and her horn illuminated and she levitated her coffee onto the counter not far, "What did you expect...the future isn't fun without your friends...m-my f-friends..." Twilight quickly ran to her room and began to cry, this happened every time she thought about them. ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Twilight was now laying in bed with all her clothes off, some of the cloth was laying across her belly and she stared at the ceiling making funny noises with her lips and tongue. The Unicorn was, bored, there was nothing she knew to do here. Everything here was too knew too her to understand yet and yet she was stuck in a place full of nothing to do. Twilight began to run her tongue along her lips as she stared up at the ceiling and that's when the door rang. A stallion voice started talking through the speaker in the front of the house. "Package for a Miss. Sparkle~" Twilight slowly pushed herself out of her bed and groaned as she made her way to the door, this Equestrian Future was still very boring and she had received one of these packages a day from Celestia, maybe the large alicorn wanted to apologies for something or perhaps she wanted to make her old student feel at home. It wasn't working. Twilight opened the sealed door and the stallion quickly stepped and and screamed cover his eyes looking away from Twilight, she was naked. Twilight gasped falsely and rolled her eyes. Unlike her time....ponies here and everywhere wore clothes and having none on was rude to them. She has found this out twice now, The stallion shakily held out the package and apologized to her, "I am so sorry, I didn't realize you were changing! Did you just get out of the shower Miss. Sparkle?" Twilight slowly moved her gaze to look back where the shower was and blushed lightly at herself, she thought this was another stupid thing the future brought. Wear cloths or your naked  and she was from the past where nothing on was a good thing but now she couldn't just because things have changed. "No, I was just....not wearing anything. Problem?" Twilight said standing her ground as she took the package and the stallion started walking backwards too the door. He was extremely terrified and wanted to get out of the house as fast as he could. "who is this from, sir?" Twilight asked and he yelped. "Its from Celestia, I would ask you too sign but, nah...no need this time, carry on" The stallion rushed out of the door as quickly as he came. Twilight frowned and looked down tossing the present hard against the ground and she groaned again. "Really...oh what a wonderful place full of change and technological advances~!! I will send you gifts...wrapped up in a pink wrapping paper...almost identical to" Twilight teared up and brought the present close to her chest and hugged it tight as she cried on it, "Pinkie Pie~!!!" Twilight began to cough in her tears as the memory of her party loving friend quickly filled her mind and clouded it. "Oh Pinkie~!! Don't you worry....I-I won't forget you" There was a letter on the ground that read something. Twilight didn't notice it yet but it was kind of deep in words, in a form of an apology letter but explained something as well. Twilight continued to cry like a lost filly looking for her mother as she held the pink present. The letter then caught her eye and her tears slowed down. "Wha...What?" She quickly levitated it up and began to read, the letter started with the words ITS TIME TAKE HIM WITH YOU Twilight reached out to touche the letter with a hoof as she had it dangling in the air but then a large light flashed and something projected on the wall, it was the face of Celestia. Twilight gasped and sat down looking at the face of the mare, she looked beautiful and unchanged from the past and then she began to speak. "Twilight! you got my letter and gift right? Well in there is something you will need, take care of him and he will take care of you...always" Celestia giggled and placed her hoof on her own head and sighed, "You will be returning to me Twilight, a pickup is tomorrow your going to be taken from Triton, I know you probably love it there by now" Celestia sounded serious and Twilight rolled her eyes, this was a recording she could tell. "Your coming back to Equestria Two....I will brief you when you get here, take care of him and he will take care of you" Celestia's face disappeared as somepony walked into the camera it went black. Twilight stood up quickly and looked at the gift, she did not notice the pony entering the camera. Looking down at the gift now she let out a long sigh and pulled off the top slowly. "Here goes nothing...again...ugh"
