Times of utmost tranquility, where all was right with the world and there was naught that demanded her immediate attention, were a rare treat for Octavia. Thus, as one would expect, she typically had cause to want to enjoy them for as long as they lasted.

Octavia stepped into the shower and turned on the water, letting out a wanting sigh as the temperature slowly rose and her stress seemed to melt away in the process. The grey mare sighed again as she leaned her head under the water, letting it soak through her coal black mane and help dash some more of the worry from her mind. She respected and appreciated that Vinyl wasn’t the type to just jump into the sack with any soul that showed interest in her (even if technically that’s what had happened to a degree last night) but at the same time, she wouldn’t have thought less of the DJ if that was in fact what she wanted to do with her. Even if neither of them had shown previous attraction to a pony of their own gender, there was no written rule of society stating that such couldn’t happen. Octavia thought fast, weighing up the pros and cons of taking another step into the unknown, passing the point of no return and subjecting herself to something that could be as terrifying as it was exciting. Though the moment seemed to drag on forever, Octavia finally reached a conclusion, feeling her heart leap as she settled on a course of action.
“I fear I’m going to disappoint you on that then, Vinyl. In fact I absolutely refuse to prevent you from doing whatever it is you want to do.” She said. “There’s no need for you to do either for me.
