Brothers By Magic
The Apple orchard

The smell of the Autumn breeze filled his nostrils as he lay there. Quietly.
The itchy grass underneath him caused him to want to move. But he felt exhausted.
He finally pryed his eyes to a small red fruit, looking juicy and ready to eat. The thought Of food made him realize he was indeed, quite hungry. In fact, it felt like he hadn't eaten In weeks.
No, wait. Gotta get up first.
He slowly started to bring his hoof's toward himself. Inch by inch, he slowly pulled himself Up into a sitting position.
Much better.
As he looked at his surroundings, he noticed something was off. Besides the fact he doesn't remember anything, not even his own name. Everything was, blurry. Out of focus. He rubbed his eyes to try to get rid of this, but to no avail.
Was he blind?
No, blind ponies can't see, I can, but barely.
Remembering he was hungry, he immediately reached for the Apple and took a bite. The Apple was perfectly ripe and delicious. Compliments to the chef. Or tree. Or Gardner- whatever.
As he sat there. Enjoying the breeze and Apple, a sudden voice entered his head.
Brother.
Find your brother.
In the distance, he could hear someone shouting "brother! Help me!"
He immediately stood up. However, quickly fell down due to the rush of dizziness that hit him. He didn't give up that easily though. as fast as he could, he got up and rushed toward the shouting. Faster and faster, running past one blurry tree to the next. "Where are you?!" He shouted as loud as he could.
"Over here!"
"I'm coming"
As he got closer and closer to the source of the shouting, he heard voices, two new voices.
"Ya sure ya heard shoutin' comin' from over here?"
"Eeyup."
"There it is again, we better hurry, somepony could be hurt!"
"Eeyu- Oof!"
He looked in horror as the scene unfold in front of him. A big red blob bumping into what appeared to be a cart, full of Apple's. The cart started to roll down the hill directly toward, his brother. He charged with all his might toward his brother, a losing battle as a cart full of Apple's will definitely go faster than a exhausted pony. But he would not let a stupid cart take away his brother.
He leaped toward his brother, and everything froze.
He looked at his "brother". It was weird, he didn't even remember him. But he just kind of knew, that this was, in fact, his brother. it was kind of like a instinct of sorts. he could feel the bond, but didn't know why. he examined the young colt. he had a navy blue colt and short red mane. nothing else was distinguishable due to blurriness.
Time slowly started coming back, and he knew that one thing; that this is going to hurt. He pushed his terrified brother off to the side, safely out of the way of the cart.
All he could do is watch as the unforgiving wooden cart full of Apple's hustled toward's him and hear the sickening crunch of bones.
