7 Days Of Hell

"Dada?"

"Oh, no." Was the first thought that popped in my head. "She's awake! What do I do now!? Having almost no prior experience with either babies or in this case, foals, I was stuck at a dead end.

She was staring at me with her light blue eyes very tiredly. She probably won't remember me since I last saw her. I don't even think she saw me at all back then. She was probably too busy playing with the six elements that she didn't even notice me in the room with them.

"Dada?"

I broke out of my trance and looked at the little creature in the basket.

"Dada?" She said for a third time, only this time her innocent smile started to fade.

I guess she’s starting to wake up.

I decided it would be best to respond.

"Hi there, no I'm not your dada. I'm gonna start taking care of you for week from now on. Are you okay with that?" I said in my best baby soothing voice I could muster, or know.

She stared at me for a few seconds and I saw tears starting to form in the corner of her eyes and she pulled the blanket over herself and started crying her eyes out.

SSSSHHHHIIIIITTTTT!!! I screamed in my head. She was probably scared of me because she had never seen anything like me before, she probably thought I was a monster and was going to eat her.

"Hey, don't worry I'm not going to hurt you," I said once aging in my soothing voice.

It didn't do much help because she was crying and wailing

What can I do to make her stop crying… CANDY! THAT’S BOUND TO TO WORK!!

I ran into my kitchen and opened a cabinet where I prayed to god that I had some candy. I ripped open the cabinet and saw no candy, so i opened the second cabinet next to the one i just opened and swung that one open.

"GUMMY BEARS!!!"

I had never been so excited about candy in my life. I ran over to the basket with the crying foal and started to speak.

"Hey Flurry, I got some candy for you." I whispered to her

I uncovered the blanket to reveal her face. Her eyes were shut and streams of tears were running down her face.

"Flurry, candy~"

She cracked one eye open and looked at me, or more specifically, the candy. Her tears were slowly drying up and her sobs were quieting down.

I poured some gummy bears out of the plastic bag and handed it over to her. She didn't want to eat the gummy bears directly out of my hand and she just simply coward in the corner looking straight at the bears, I put the bears a few centimeters in front of her, her body was shaking when my hand started to approach her but quickly stopped when she saw my hand move away and leaving candy for her. She started to move forward to get her candy keeping her eyes on me at all times. Almost like a predator hunting for it's next meal.

I got up in a standing position and backed away from her.

"Maybe I can check on her when she’s done eating."

I made my way into the my kitchen and started brewing myself some coffee.

I never signed up for this shit. I thought to myself. Well, I kinda did in a way, considering that Twilight would have pushed to the end of time if I didn't agree, so who could blame me. Also what am I supposed to do about work? I can't just leave her here. Luckily I only work for two days this week, I suppose I can ask someone to foalsit her for a few hours

I had been working on Vinyl’s Club ever since I first showed up. It's been about 5 years since I first showed up in Equestria, and the residents of Ponyville weren't very accepting of me until the queen bee herself Celestia proclaimed that I was completely safe after a lengthy interview with her about me and human nature. Of course all the ponies didn't accept me immediately and I'm pretty sure some of them still don't trust me to be completely safe, but most of them are at the end of their life line, so who could blame them. I really have no idea how or why but it wasn't only me, but my entire. Fucking. House, followed me into Equestria and landed just about a five minute walk outside from Ponyville, Which the resident fillies thought was a spaceship.

Lyra was probably the first pony that I ever met and became friends with in this land. She was always nice to me and I'm pretty sure she had a crush on me for a long time. She had suggested that I start working at Vinyl’s club as a bartender, and I had immediately jumped at the chance to work there, not only because I like electro music but because Vinyl is the sexiest mare in Equestria. Of course since I was new there and almost no pony trusted me, Vinyl was a little skeptical with letting me work there. But you could bet how fast she hired me after I showed her my music library on my phone. And after with the help of my music, the club had been fully packed for almost a year and still there are ponies coming from all over Equestria to enjoy the new music spectacle.

My coffee machine showed a green light signifying that the coffee was done and was ready to drink. I took the pot out from underneath the machine, poured some into a cup and took a sip. The taste of coffee always calmed me down, the bitter taste always took me away from the real world for just a few moments, and that was always enough to calm me down.

"Aahh, good coffee. I should check up on Flur-”

*SHATTER*

I heard the noise that sounded like glass hitting the floor and shattering on impact. I put my coffee on the counter and sprinted into the hallway. I saw Flurry standing on top of my cabinet with a shattered vase on the floor in the hallway.

She was staring at me with a guilty and scared look in her eyes.

I rubbed my eyes with my thumb and index finger.

"What am I going to do with you?"

I approached her slowly as to not scare her. She was still staring at me with fear in her eyes.

"Are you okay?"

I wasn't expecting any response from her and nor did I receive any, but what she did do was something I will never forget. She dashed right past my face. Broke my window by shooting it with her magic, and dashed straight to Ponyville.

"Fuck,"

I sprinted to my front door and put on my shoes Rarity had made me. I opened my door and felt the warmth of the sun hit my face like a tidal wave, it felt good. I started my sprint to Ponyville hoping that anypony had gotten Flurry for me or at the very least seen her anywhere for me to look. I decided it would be best to ask Twilight for help so I made my way down to Twilight's library and started banging on the door.

"TWILIGHT!!! TWILIGHT!!! TWILI-"

"Oh right, I forgot that she was on a trip." "What the fuck do I do now?" I thought to myself "I should ask somepony for help."

I turned around and saw that everypony within a 500 meter proximity of me were staring at me. They must have thought that I turned mad or something.

"Uh… Hi everypony… hehehe," I said in the most awkward tone ever. I decided to push the embarrassment aside and ask.

"Hey everypony! Has anypony seen Flurry Heart?"

No response, just silence for a few seconds, and then everypony burst out laughing. I just stand there completely confused.

What's so funny? I wondered.

"Hey, I'm serious. Where is she?" I asked extremely annoyed.

The laughter only got louder and louder.

"Fine! Fuck y'all, I can look for her myself" I told them, I finally had it with the laughter and embarrassment.

I walked away from the laughter and was now on the edge of the town.

If I don't find her soon, I'm a dead man

I was almost starting to lose hope until I heard someone call my name.

"Felix?"

I turned around and saw Lyra smiling at me.

"Lyra can you please help me?"

Lyra's face turned into one of confusion.

"Erh… Sure. What do you need help with?"

I decided to just come out and say it.

"Don't laugh, but I've lost Flurry Heart and I can't find her. So I was wondering if you’ve seen her?" I blurted out in a few seconds.

I expected for her to just laugh in my face but instead she just asked. "Wait, Flurry heart, the royal foal?"

"Yes, I'm foalsitting her for a week. Have you seen her?" I responded quickly.

"Well I don't think I've seen any Flurry Heart around her-" She cut her sentence short, her face turned into a face of horror and she said the words that I dreaded hearing.

"I-I think she's in the everfree."
