Everything was going fine for the entire day and now somepony comes up and asks you to foalsit someponies foal, and not just SOMEPONIES FOAL, the Princess of Love's and the Captain of the Royal Guards foal. "Oh, come on Felix, you can foalsit Flurry Heart for seven days." Twilight responds with a smile. I stare at Twilight with my jaw hanging open. Cadence and Shining armor was standing a couple of meters behind her. They looked like train wrecks with bags under their eyes, messed up hair and their head was bobbing up and down every once in awhile, almost like they haven't slept in days "Why should I need to foalsit her?" "Because me and Shinning are going on a trip." Cadence responds in a tired voice. "Why should I need to foalsit her if they're going on a trip?" "Can't you foalsit her Twilight?" Twilight looks back at Shining and Cadence and looks back at you again, and shakes her head. "I'm going with them," I raised an eyebrow at that statement, "Why would she follow them on a trip." I looked up at Shining and Cadence and they simply nodded their head, or bobbed I'm not really sure. "Okay, What about one of the other elements, can't they do it?" I ask thinking I could get out of this. Twilight looks around nervously "Erm...they are coming with us to." She probably knew what I was gonna ask next and answered quickly. "Celestia and Luna are coming with us too." I was still really confused. "But why did you come to me? You know I don't like foals." I didn't even like kids back on Earth, they were always so annoying and would always bother me. "Well I thought this could be a perfect opportunity to help you get comfortable with foals." You looked around nervously. You knew there was no way for me to get out of this. Knowing Twilight, she was the most stubborn pony you can ever wish to meet. Once she wanted you to do something, you better do it. "*Sigh* Fine, I'll take care of Flurry Heart, if that's what you want?" I asked rhetorically/ Twilight jumped into the air and exclaimed, "YEAH!!" But she quickly stopped herself before continuing. "I mean, thank you for helping us, we couldn't have asked anyone else with this. Flurry is at the apple family's place so we'll go get her for you. You're gonna have such a great time foalsitting her!" "Alright, I'll wait here." I say in a defeated tone. "Great!" Twilight cheered and she started to walk away along with Shining and Cadence, which were just kinda wobbling after Twilight. I close my door and contemplate what I've just done. "Oh fuck, I've just done a terrible mistake." Chapter 1: It's been about one hour since Twilight, Cadance and Shining Armor went to get Flurry Heart for me, and now I'm sitting on my tiny couch in my living room thinking of ways you can get out of this blood-bound deal. "Hmm...sick? No that won't work... maybe I can make a run for it, no that would be disrespectful and they would never forgive me." I had contemplated ways to get out of this ever since they went to get Flurry, and every one would most probably end in disaster for me. I was cooking up a another plan when I heard, KNOCK... KNOCK... KNOCK My blood turned cold and sweat started forming on my forehead. "Oh, shit, whatdoidowhatdoidowhatdoido!?" I looked around frantically in my living room for anyway to get out of this situation until I realized. "Wait, why am I so scared? I only need to foalsit a simple foal. I have seen her before and she seemed fine." I finally calmed down enough to be able to muster up the courage and make my way to the door. With every step you took you felt dread starting to build up in my stomach, it was kinda like a stack of blocks being added on top of each other one by one with every step. Sweat had already built it's way on you're hands, chest and forehead. I grabbed the door handle, put on the best fake smile I could muster and prepared a warm greeting that would sound something like "Heeeeeyyyy, how's it going?" But instead it came out like, "Heeee....eh?" I looked around and saw nopony in sight, only grassy fields and Ponyville in the distance. I stepped out onto my porch and walked around you're one story house to see if a fillie or filles had prank knocked my house again. I walked around the house twice and was now at the back of the house. "Okay, what the fuck is going on?" I asked out loud to nobody in particular. I heard a poof followed by another poof that sounded like it came from the front of my house.. I ran around the house in hopes to catch the culprit, or culprits who had pranked me, but instead I found... A basket. I just stood there and watched the basket, you was dumbstruck, first somepony had prank knocked me, then left a basket of whatever's in the basket. As I stood there watching the basket, I could hear a barely audible snoring sound emanating from the basket, so you started to walk up to it. You peered inside and saw a blanket covering...something, I pulled the blanket away just a bit, and saw... "Flurry heart!!?" I immediately covered my mouth with my hands hopping I didn't wake her up, luckily she didn't start crying or anything and I let out a sigh of relief. "Okay, what the fuck!?" I screamed in my head I thought this was weird that they just left Flurry Heart on my porch, no goodbye, no way of contact, nothing. "I guess they were in a hurry." I thought to myself. I picked up the basket slowly and brought it in along with Flurry, you put the basket on the living room table and looked in the basket again. I noticed Flurry cuddling something, I looked closer and noticed it was a rolled up piece of paper. I pried the note away from her weak little grasp and she started to squirm a little bit, luckily she didn't wake up. I looked away from the little creature and locked my eyes on the paper, it read, "Dear Felix, I'm sorry that we had to leave Flurry Heart with you before saying goodbye but, we were kinda in a hurry. As I said earlier, you are gonna foalsit Flurry for a week and there are some things I’m gonna have to know about her, firstly, you can feed her anything that we ponies normally eat, such as, hay, carrots, lettuce, apples and stuff like that. DO NOT GIVE HER MEAT. Secondly, make sure she is hydrated at all times. And thirdly, good luck." Your dear friend, Twilight "Good luck?? What does she mean about that?" I looked back at the foal in the basket and saw her looking up at you . "Dada?" "Oh, no." //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 "Dada?" "Oh, no." Was the first thought that popped in my head. "She's awake! What do I do now!? Having almost no prior experience with either babies or in this case, foals, I was stuck at a dead end. She was staring at me with her light blue eyes very tiredly. She probably won't remember me since I last saw her. I don't even think she saw me at all back then. She was probably too busy playing with the six elements that she didn't even notice me in the room with them. "Dada?" I broke out of my trance and looked at the little creature in the basket. "Dada?" She said for a third time, only this time her innocent smile started to fade. I guess she’s starting to wake up. I decided it would be best to respond. "Hi there, no I'm not your dada. I'm gonna start taking care of you for week from now on. Are you okay with that?" I said in my best baby soothing voice I could muster, or know. She stared at me for a few seconds and I saw tears starting to form in the corner of her eyes and she pulled the blanket over herself and started crying her eyes out. SSSSHHHHIIIIITTTTT!!! I screamed in my head. She was probably scared of me because she had never seen anything like me before, she probably thought I was a monster and was going to eat her. "Hey, don't worry I'm not going to hurt you," I said once aging in my soothing voice. It didn't do much help because she was crying and wailing What can I do to make her stop crying… CANDY! THAT’S BOUND TO TO WORK!! I ran into my kitchen and opened a cabinet where I prayed to god that I had some candy. I ripped open the cabinet and saw no candy, so i opened the second cabinet next to the one i just opened and swung that one open. "GUMMY BEARS!!!" I had never been so excited about candy in my life. I ran over to the basket with the crying foal and started to speak. "Hey Flurry, I got some candy for you." I whispered to her I uncovered the blanket to reveal her face. Her eyes were shut and streams of tears were running down her face. "Flurry, candy~" She cracked one eye open and looked at me, or more specifically, the candy. Her tears were slowly drying up and her sobs were quieting down. I poured some gummy bears out of the plastic bag and handed it over to her. She didn't want to eat the gummy bears directly out of my hand and she just simply coward in the corner looking straight at the bears, I put the bears a few centimeters in front of her, her body was shaking when my hand started to approach her but quickly stopped when she saw my hand move away and leaving candy for her. She started to move forward to get her candy keeping her eyes on me at all times. Almost like a predator hunting for it's next meal. I got up in a standing position and backed away from her. "Maybe I can check on her when she’s done eating." I made my way into the my kitchen and started brewing myself some coffee. I never signed up for this shit. I thought to myself. Well, I kinda did in a way, considering that Twilight would have pushed to the end of time if I didn't agree, so who could blame me. Also what am I supposed to do about work? I can't just leave her here. Luckily I only work for two days this week, I suppose I can ask someone to foalsit her for a few hours I had been working on Vinyl’s Club ever since I first showed up. It's been about 5 years since I first showed up in Equestria, and the residents of Ponyville weren't very accepting of me until the queen bee herself Celestia proclaimed that I was completely safe after a lengthy interview with her about me and human nature. Of course all the ponies didn't accept me immediately and I'm pretty sure some of them still don't trust me to be completely safe, but most of them are at the end of their life line, so who could blame them. I really have no idea how or why but it wasn't only me, but my entire. Fucking. House, followed me into Equestria and landed just about a five minute walk outside from Ponyville, Which the resident fillies thought was a spaceship. Lyra was probably the first pony that I ever met and became friends with in this land. She was always nice to me and I'm pretty sure she had a crush on me for a long time. She had suggested that I start working at Vinyl’s club as a bartender, and I had immediately jumped at the chance to work there, not only because I like electro music but because Vinyl is the sexiest mare in Equestria. Of course since I was new there and almost no pony trusted me, Vinyl was a little skeptical with letting me work there. But you could bet how fast she hired me after I showed her my music library on my phone. And after with the help of my music, the club had been fully packed for almost a year and still there are ponies coming from all over Equestria to enjoy the new music spectacle. My coffee machine showed a green light signifying that the coffee was done and was ready to drink. I took the pot out from underneath the machine, poured some into a cup and took a sip. The taste of coffee always calmed me down, the bitter taste always took me away from the real world for just a few moments, and that was always enough to calm me down. "Aahh, good coffee. I should check up on Flur-” *SHATTER* I heard the noise that sounded like glass hitting the floor and shattering on impact. I put my coffee on the counter and sprinted into the hallway. I saw Flurry standing on top of my cabinet with a shattered vase on the floor in the hallway. She was staring at me with a guilty and scared look in her eyes. I rubbed my eyes with my thumb and index finger. "What am I going to do with you?" I approached her slowly as to not scare her. She was still staring at me with fear in her eyes. "Are you okay?" I wasn't expecting any response from her and nor did I receive any, but what she did do was something I will never forget. She dashed right past my face. Broke my window by shooting it with her magic, and dashed straight to Ponyville. "Fuck," I sprinted to my front door and put on my shoes Rarity had made me. I opened my door and felt the warmth of the sun hit my face like a tidal wave, it felt good. I started my sprint to Ponyville hoping that anypony had gotten Flurry for me or at the very least seen her anywhere for me to look. I decided it would be best to ask Twilight for help so I made my way down to Twilight's library and started banging on the door. "TWILIGHT!!! TWILIGHT!!! TWILI-" "Oh right, I forgot that she was on a trip." "What the fuck do I do now?" I thought to myself "I should ask somepony for help." I turned around and saw that everypony within a 500 meter proximity of me were staring at me. They must have thought that I turned mad or something. "Uh… Hi everypony… hehehe," I said in the most awkward tone ever. I decided to push the embarrassment aside and ask. "Hey everypony! Has anypony seen Flurry Heart?" No response, just silence for a few seconds, and then everypony burst out laughing. I just stand there completely confused. What's so funny? I wondered. "Hey, I'm serious. Where is she?" I asked extremely annoyed. The laughter only got louder and louder. "Fine! Fuck y'all, I can look for her myself" I told them, I finally had it with the laughter and embarrassment. I walked away from the laughter and was now on the edge of the town. If I don't find her soon, I'm a dead man I was almost starting to lose hope until I heard someone call my name. "Felix?" I turned around and saw Lyra smiling at me. "Lyra can you please help me?" Lyra's face turned into one of confusion. "Erh… Sure. What do you need help with?" I decided to just come out and say it. "Don't laugh, but I've lost Flurry Heart and I can't find her. So I was wondering if you’ve seen her?" I blurted out in a few seconds. I expected for her to just laugh in my face but instead she just asked. "Wait, Flurry heart, the royal foal?" "Yes, I'm foalsitting her for a week. Have you seen her?" I responded quickly. "Well I don't think I've seen any Flurry Heart around her-" She cut her sentence short, her face turned into a face of horror and she said the words that I dreaded hearing. "I-I think she's in the everfree." //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 I was running on the dirt path heading towards the Everfree forest in hopes to find Flurry heart, Lyra had told me that she has a possibility to be in the Everfree forest and it went something like this, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S IN THE EVERFREE!!!" I screamed at Lyra. Lyra started to back away from me and tears started to form in her eyes, I felt bad so I toned it down. "Lyra, please tell me." I said in a more calm but still agitated voice Lyra wiped the tears that had formed in the corner of her eyes and spoke, "Well I-I'm not sure, but I think I saw her flying in to the everfree." "A-Are you sure?" I started to get extremely worried for her safety. "At first I thought it was a Parasprite, but it's wings and body was way to big." she glanced over towards the Everfree My fear and worry was at it's peak now. “Lyra, go into Ponyville and get the guards to come and help and I’ll go in and search for her.” I told her calmly as I started to run. Lyra gave a salute, a smile, and turned around and started sprinting towards Ponyville. Now I'm at the edge of The Everfree forest, my fear had gone into overdrive and I was sweating like Niagara Falls. Every second I was in the Everfree, my fears for my own safety were quickly transferred for Flurry and I quickened my pace every so often into a full on run. "Flurry!!! Flurry!!! Please come out, I’m not going to hurt you!!!" I yelled over and over again. I continued to follow the dirt path for a while and yelling "Flurry!!!" every once a while. Sometimes I would think I see something pink but when I turn to look at it, it's just my imagination. "Fucking imagination, keep getting my hopes up, and where are the guards? Did Lyra decide to just leave me on my own?" I thought to myself. I looked around a bit more and I actually saw something pink protruding out from a bush on the left of the path. At first I expected it to just be my imagination again but this time, it was real. I walked over to the pink object and pulled it out from the bush. "A pink feather?" My fear turned into adrenaline when I started running in the direction that the feather was lying. It might not have been the most smart move to do, but my primal instincts got the better of me. I came at a sudden stop when a root caught my foot and made me fall straight on my stomach. I could feel the twigs and rocks digging into my stomach and face as I lay there defeated, tears started forming in my eyes. "I'M SORRY!!!" I screamed and tears started flowing from my eyes at this point. "I'M SO, SO SORRY!!!" I was sitting in the fetal position until I heard the sound of a wolf, or more specifically, a Timberwolf howl, I got up on my feet. "I should make my way ho-" I started but I stopped as I heard something. I listened closely and I heard it again. Dada!!! I don't even know what came over me, my body just decided to haul ass towards the direction of the sound. "Don't worry, I won't let anything hurt you." I screamed in my head. I kept running not caring if twigs and thorns were slicing every part of my body. By the time I had made it to my destination, my shirt and pants were completely torn but still wearable. I had stopped hastily after finding a clearing. In the middle of it was of course, Flurry. She was sitting in the grass crying. "Dada!! Dada!!" She kept repeating in her normal baby voice. I was about to step out of the bushes and get Flurry but something stopped me dead in my tracks. Two green dots, they were glowing just beyond the clearing opposite of me. I could see that Flurry had noticed them too and she had turned to face the dots, still crying. I could see that some of her feathers on her wings had come off and that probably made it difficult for her to fly. The two dots had started to move out from the darkness of the wood and my fears were confirmed. "A timberwolf." I thought to myself. The timberwolf had caught sight of Flurry and was slowly advancing towards her, snarling and growling. "Whatdoidowhatdoido?" I repeated in my head until I came to the realization of, "Fuck it" I jumped out of the bushes and ran towards Flurry. The timberwolf had caught sight of me, growled and took a defensive stance and ran to Flurry. It became a race and I made my way to Flurry in a maximum of 5 seconds and and picked her up. I made sure to keep her face pressed tight to my chest, as to not make her see what was surely about to happen. Flurry was crying into my grey shirt uncontrollably and continued to yell "Dada!! Dada!!" I looked up at the timberwolf and it was growling and hissing at me while running, green drool was coming out of it's mouth as it let out a blood curdling growl that chilled my bones. "BACK OFF!!!" I shouted at the wooden creature. "BACK OFF!!!" It stopped running and it took a stance as if it was readying itself to pounce on me. As I expected, it jumped into to the air but did not block out the sun's weak rays, which resulted  me to go momentarily blind. The wolf took advantage of that and attempted to get a bite of Flurry, but out of instinct I turned away with my body to block the wolf’s sharp wooden teeth, but the wolf got a bite on my triceps instead. Because of my arms being busy holding Flurry, the only thing I could do was kick the wolf. I kicked in it's stomach and the wolf to fell to the ground. I took advantage of the situation and kicked the wolf in the face. The snout was pressed into it's face and it started to shake it's head around and green ooze was coming out of it's snout. I took this as an opportunity to start running, but before I went into a full sprint I made one last comment. "FUCK YOU!!!" I ran the direction I came from and I took a quick look on my tricep and saw red and green liquid oozing out of the wound. "Well, that's not good." Was the first thought that popped into my head "Doesn't matter now, all I need to is get Flurry to safet-" My chain of thoughts were interrupted when I felt something bite down onto the back of my foot, this caused me to fall forward, but out of instinct I turned my body to fall on my back instead. "Ahh, fuck," I said through clenched teeth. It felt like my back had been torn to shreds because of the rocks and twigs. I looked down onto my chest and saw both Flurry who was still sobbing into my chest, and the timberwolf that was standing just a couple of meters away from me. It was growling ferociously, obviously not happy that I kicked it's snout in. It jumped into the air again to pounce on me and Flurry and out of reflects I put both my feet up and kicked it right in it's face again. This not only caused the snout to go in more, but it's entire face caved inwards. The wolf fell onto its side, hopefully dead, but probably not  and it wouldn’t be down for long. I took this opportunity again to get up to continue running but when I stood up I felt my heel give away unimaginable pain. "GAAHH!!!" I screamed out and fell onto one knee. I looked down on my heel and saw that the entire backside of my shoe had been torn off and my heel was all bloody. Luckily my shoe had taken most of the bite, and I could also see that one of the wolf's wooden teeth had gotten stuck on my left foot and was now protruding out from the right side of my heel. "I don't have time for this shit. I need to get home," I thought to myself. I looked back at the timberwolf and saw that it was starting to regenerate again. "Oh, fuck this." I started running through the forest, bushes and trees were continuously blocking my path, making me have to run around it. This continued for a couple of minutes until I saw the edge of the forest and the beautiful lights of the setting sun. "Finally, freedom." I broke out of the forest and felt the rays of what's left of the sun batter me in all it's glory. I looked down onto Flurry and saw her fast asleep. "I guess you must've fallen asleep from all that crying," I smiled "At least we're not dead yet." I said out loud. I took a look around and saw that I exited the forest a long distance from where I originally entered, I knew where I was and started limping my way towards my house. The pain in my ankle and bicep had subsided for the most part and I probably didn't need any medical care from the hospital. I heard a light snoring coming from my chest and I remembered. Shit! Flurry! I realized, I stopped in my tracks and held her with my hands in front of me, she was still sleeping. "Let's see, aside from a few feathers gone you seem perfectly fine. Can't say the same for me though." I gave a small snicker at my last comment. I continued walking and As I did so I was contemplating my choice to have accepted this. "If this is the first day, what will the rest of the week be like?" My arm and leg was starting to increase in pain, but I didn't care "If I would have known this would happen before hand, I would have told them to fuck off. I should send a letter to Twilight telling her how it’s gone so far, and it would go something like this," Dear Twilight, Let me be the first to humbly tell you to go fuck yourself and that everything is going fine. Let me tell you what I learned today. I've learned to never let foals out of my sight and to not fuck with timberwolves, The one and only human, Felix. PS, Please stop asking me if you can perform experiments on me, thanks. "Yeah, that'll work Time seemed to fly by as I made it past Applejacks orchard, I decided to take a couple of apples with me while I was there. "I'm sure they won't mind." I made my way over my fifth hill and my legs were about to Implode when I made it to the top and laid eyes on my house. "Home sweet home, and fuck hills." I noticed a mint green silhouette sitting on my porch. "Lyra?" I said out loud, I couldn't really tell because I was still quite a distance away from my house. I made my way down the hill and slowly but gradually got closer to my house. Just what I suspected, it was Lyra. I made my way closer and started to hear light sobbing emanating from the lyra playing pony. "Lyra?" She heard me and turned around quickly. Her eyes were bloodshot and streaks of tears were flowing down her eyes. "Lyra, what's wrong?" I was worried for her now. Lyra just looked down to the ground and fell on her haunches. "Lyra, tell me what's wrong" At this time I had made my way up the porch and kneeling down in front of Lyra, "Lyra?" Lyra just continued crying. I felt guilty, not in a way that I did something wrong or bad, but in a case that I hurt someone's feelings, I don't know why I felt like this since I've done nothing wrong. "Lyra, Please te-" "I failed you" Lyra said in a sad, low voice. "W-What?” I asked. Lyra started crying even harder and was now on the verge of breaking down. "I-I FAILED YOU!!!" She practically yelled out. I was of course confused of what she meant. I put my hand on her shoulder and rubbed it, she tensed up when I placed my hand on her. "What do you mean?" I asked and I was starting to get worried about her. "I-I couldn't get you the help yo-you needed!" She cried out. "What?" I asked, I knew what she was referring to but I didn't why she was so upset. "I-I had made my way into Ponyville and asked every guard and everypony if they could help," She paused for a second and continued. "But all they did was laugh and call me crazy for listening to you, they called you a crazy alien." My chest started hurting from what I was hearing. I moved a bit closer and wrapped my good arm around Lyra whilst holding Flurry with my bad arm. She leaned her face into my chest, carefully as to not stab me with her horn. "I'm sorry." she whimpered. "It's okay," I said in a calm voice "You did your best." We sat there for a few minutes until Lyra perked up. "You're hurt." A smile formed it's way onto my face. "Don't worry about me, I'm completely fine,  We should make our way in it's starting to get late.." Lyra looked up from my embrace and asked. "C-can I stay with you?" I was about to answer but she quickly added "Well you're probably busy with Flurry so I Shouldn't be bothe-" I placed my finger on her lips, "Shh, Yes, you can stay, If you want." I gave her a smile before I stood up and walked into my house, I looked back and saw Lyra still standing on the porch looking down on the ground. "Well, what are doing? Come in," She looked up and I gave her a big smile. She had never been in my house before and was probably nervous, but she stepped into my house eventually. "Make yourself feel comfortable" I said to Lyra. I made my way into my bedroom and placed Flurry in my bed, I pulled the covers over her and gave her a quick rub on the forehead before exiting my room and closing the door. In my hallway was Lyra standing with a big blush on her face, I didn't know what she was blushing at until I looked down and saw my exposed muscles through the torn clothes. "Great." I thought to myself. "Hey Lyra, The living room is right there," I pointed In the direction of the living room "I'll be right there, I'm just gonna patch myself up." Lyra gave a noticeable nod and I made my way to the bathroom. I put down both the toilet seats and started working on my foot. I started cleaning out the wound and and it hurt like hell. "Why the fuck didn't I buy that alcohol?" I asked myself. I decided to leave the wolf tooth to last, I took a look at my clock. 7pm. "How has this day been so far?" I asked myself subconsciously. "It sucked." //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 "Ahh fuck" I said, pulling the tooth out of my foot. It didn't hurt immensely bad, but it still fucking hurt. I've been sitting In the bathroom for about half an hour cleaning out my foot. I brought the tooth up to my face and looked at it. "Mmh, about 4 centimeters. I thought to myself. "Maybe I can make a necklace out of it or something. It does have a pretty awesome backstory to it." I brought the tooth down from my face and placed it on the side of the sink. "Now I just need to clean my ar- My thoughts were interrupted when I came to a realization, "Why the fuck, didn't I just shower?" I looked over to the shower and sighed. "*sigh* It would've gone so much faster. I got up on my feet and limped over to the shower. The pain had increased just a bit whilst removing all the dirt and debris out of my foot, and this is probably gonna hurt even more, but it's gonna go a whole lot faster. I stripped down naked and stepped into the shower. "Well this is gonna be fun." I turned the shower on, and immediately felt the water stinging my swollen arm and foot. The pain wasn't like anything I've felt before, It felt like little devils were crawling all over my arm and foot and jamming their pitchforks into the wounds at every angle possible. "FFFFFFUUUUUUUUCK!" I said through clenched teeth. I looked onto the back of my arm and saw that splinters, rocks and blood were going down my arm and legs and finally down the drain. I checked both my arm and foot for any debris and hopped out of the shower as fast I could. "Fuck that hurt," I said through clenched teeth. I looked over at the clock and saw the time. "7:40 pm, alrighty then. I took out two rolls of gauge out of the cabinet and wrapped each one around my arm and foot. I proceeded to get a towel and wrap it around my waist, I head over to the door and were about to open it until I remembered, "Oh right, Lyra’s still out there, wouldn't it be weird if I just walked out naked...Meh fuck it" I opened the door and it didn't make any noise thankfully. I peeked my head out the doorway and looked to my left into the hallway "No one," I looked to my right into my livingroom and saw the strangest thing yet. I saw Lyra with her back to me attempting to stand on her two hind legs, she was wobbling around whilst doing it. "What the hell" I got out of the bathroom completely with the towel tightly around my waist. "Okay this is kinda weird. Might as well ask her?" "Lyra?" Lyra made a small "eek!" and fell onto her back. I, of course, found it comical but I suppressed my laughter and asked Lyra in the best concerned voice I could do. "Whoa, are you alright?" I took a few steps towards her. Lyra rolled onto her stomach and got up onto four legs again. Lyra had her eyes closed and rubbing the back of her head with a hoof. "Yeah, I'm fine it's just a-a-" Lyra opened her eyes and looked up on me practically naked, a giant blush that would have made a tomato jealous formed on her face. Then she asked the most unexpected question I've ever heard, "Y-You have nips?" She said In a shocked and surprised voice. A confused look plastered it's way across my face at that question. "Hehe, yeah." I remembered Twilight ask the same thing when she examined my body when I first arrived here. Lyra was looking up and down my body, almost as if she was examining my every muscle, every curve, every edge, You name it. I was starting to get pretty weirded out so I decided to speak up "Alrighty, I'm gonna go and put on some clothes," Lyra looked visibly disappointed but she tried to hide it "And I'll be right back." Lyra gave a nod and an "Okay" in her more neutral voice, she then turned around and walked over towards the couch only with a bit more sway in her hips. "Oh god, what the fuck is going on?" I thought to myself as I turned and walked to my bedroom, I opened the door slowly as to not wake up Flurry, I turned on the lamp on my nightstand to give me some sense of direction and a good look at Flurry. I Looked down at Flurry and saw that she was Squirming and smiling, at first I thought she was awake but I quickly noted that her eyes were still closed, "You seem to be having a dream?" A big smile formed it's way onto my face. "Maybe I was wrong about foals?" I knelt down next to the bed and started petting her cheek, almost like a dog she leaned into my hand. I gave out a small chuckle. "Hm, adorable." I stopped petting her and she leaned into the pillow "Dada." was the last thing she said before falling into an even deeper sleep. I stood up and opened the wardrobe that was facing the door and took out a pair of sweatpants, a simple white shirt and threw them on. I let the lamp stay on if Flurry woke up and walked out of the room and closed the door silently. I turned around to face the living room and noticed Lyra sitting on my couch, covering her eyes with her mane and having a giant blush on her face. "What's up?" I asked trying to find out what Lyra was doing. "It's raining," she said looking down onto the fabric of the couch. I looked out the window and saw it raining heavily. Hm, that’s strange. You don’t recall Dashie ever telling you about a storm this week. Oh well. I already knew what she was gonna ask so I decided to make this not as awkward for her. "If you want to stay here for the night? You're more then welcome to." Lyra looked up from the couch at me with the blush still on her cheeks. "R-Really? I can stay here? With you?" I gave a smile to Lyra and answered. "Yes, you can stay here. If you’d like that is?" Lyra had a giant smile plastered on her face now. I made my way towards the couch and took my seat, I leaned into the couch and closed my eyes. I sat like that for a few minutes until Lyra spoke up. "Umm, hey Felix?" Lyra asked beside me. "Hmm?" I lazily hummed. "What's that?" she said curiously. I opened my eyes to see what Lyra was asking about, and she was pointing with her hoof to my Flatscreen TV. "That's a TV," I said in a lazy voice again. I didn't expect her to know what a TV is or meant, and of course she didn't. "What's a TV?" She proceeded curiously. "Hmm, well, imagine a projector screen except without a projector." Lyra looked up at me with no clue of what I was talking about. I rubbed the bridge of my nose with my thumb and index finger and sighed. "I'll just show you," I said as I reached for the controller. I pressed the “on” button and the screen lit up from black to a little bit more illuminated black and with a blue box in the far right corner saying "No channels found." Thats one of the things that suck about Equestria, Unlimited electricity thanks to magic, but no History channel. "Woaaaah" I heard Lyra say. I didn't understand why Lyra was so amazed over a black screen and a blue box. "What can it do?" Lyra quickly asked. "Well it can play movies, and stuff." "Oh! Oh! Can we watch?!! Can we watch?!!" Lyra asked excitedly. "Whoa, whoa, relax horsey, sure we can watch." Luckily I had hundreds of movies and anime stored on my computer and DVD’s so I was pretty much set. "Yaaaay!!!" Lyra exclaimed whilst jumping into the air. "Seems to be a common theme among ponies." I thought to myself. I got up onto my feet and walked towards my TV and opened the one of the cabinets underneath the TV, I digged around for a bit until I found a bunch of dvd, I started to go through the pile, "Jurassic ark...No, Saw… definitely not, Back the future...Alright" I rose to my feet and turned on my xbox, the xbox logo quickly appeared on the big screen and Lyra quickly perked up. "Is this the movie!!!" I turned to her and saw she had an expression of shock and amazement on her face. For the hundredth time of the day I gave her a smile along with a "No." I removed the disc from its plastic container and inserted it into the slot of the gaming console. I looked at the screen until the *ready to play* text popped up. I grabbed the controller from the TV stand and turned towards the couch and an idea popped into my head as I looked at Lyra. "Wanna drink?" I asked Lyra Lyra looked away from the TV and up at me. "S-Sure." she responded back. "Great! I'll be out in a second." I responded with a smile on my face. I put the controller onto the table and made my way towards the kitchen, I pulled out some alcoholic drinks out of my refrigerator and started mixing. "Sometimes being a bartender has it's perks." I thought to myself. I mixed some apple cider, soda and a hint of vodka into two decent sized wine glasses. I stepped out of the kitchen and into the living room with drinks in hand. I looked onto Lyra and she was still sitting on the couch but now she was holding the Xbox controller in her magic in front of her face, almost as if she was examining it. "Having fun?" I asked with a smile on my face. Lyra gave away a small "eep!" and dropped the controller onto the carpeted floor and she immediately went into a frenzy. "OH MY CELESTIA!!! I'M SO SORRY!!! I DIDN'T MEAN TO DROP YOUR DEVICE IT JUST SEEMED SO FASCINATING AND I JUST WANTED TO SEE HOW IT WORKED AND, AND, AND..." She blurted out in one breath and quickly staggered on her own words as she held both of her hooves over her eyes. "Woah, woah, relax you haven't done anything wrong!" I sat down onto the couch and leaned over towards Lyra to pick up the controller, whilst doing so Lyra muttered, "I'm sorry." I just simply groaned and responded with. "Don't sweat it, it doesn't break that easily." I took my seat onto my side if the couch again and took one of the glasses and handed it over to Lyra. Lyra generously accepted the drink and took a sip, as did I. Because of Equestria’s low alcohol policy it tasted like a regular fruit soda to me, but to ponies it would taste like a normal alcohol drink. Back on earth it would taste to me and have the same alcohol effect just as fast. "Lucky bastards," I thought to myself. I put my drink along with Lyra onto the table and I looked over to her, "Wanna start?" "Sure!" She perked up. I reached over towards the controller and hit "A" to start the movie. I leaned into my sofa and put my feet up onto the table and got comfortable. I looked towards Lyra and she gave me a look that said "What the buck are you doing?" " She probably thinks I'm weird sitting like this, Eh, Whatever." I thought whilst turning towards the TV. 30 Minutes later "Wha-What are they doing?" Lyra asked. There was only 30 minutes into the movie along with two drinks and Lyra had already gotten drunk. "Geez, hold your liquor much?" I thought before answering her. "Well he is trying to get away from the bad guys." Lyra gave away an audible "oooohhh." We went back to watching the movie and there were only a few minutes until Lyra perked up again. "Waoh, what happen?” "He just went back in time." Lyra swiftly turned her head towards me with a face of curiosity that needed to be soothed. "Can you humans do that?" I simply answered "No." "I should check on Flurry," I got up and Lyra quickly asked. "W-Where are you g-going?" she asked drunkenly. "I'm just gonna check on Flurry real quick." "Oookay, don't be too long baby." she giggled when she finished speaking. "Oh, no." "Y-yeah" I stuttered back. I turned and made my way towards the bedroom and prayed that she was still asleep. I opened the door slowly and peeked between the door crack. I saw Flurry standing in the middle of the bed inspecting her new surroundings. "I guess she must've just woken up," I sighed and made my way into the room. I pushed the door open completely and it made a loud creaking sound upon opening. I flinched from being noticed as Flurry turned and looked at me immediately as she held a bundle of bed cover over her for protection. I felt bad for her, not only was she afraid of me, but she didn't have anything that made her feel safe. "Are you alright?" I asked in a baby relaxing tone. I leaned over just a enough to see her wings, they looked like she had never lost any feathers. "Your wings seem to be all healed, can I have a look?" Flurry just stood still and watched me as I stood up straight and sat down on the bed. I slowly reached my hand out to touch her and luckily she didn't move away or cry. She just stood there and watched. My hand reached her cheek and I petted her with the back of my index finger and she seemed to enjoy it, but she was still watching me with caution. "What will make you not afraid of me?" I thought as scenes of possible ways played out in my head. I leaned back and got a full view of her wings, and just as I presumed, the feathers had completely grown back. "You seem to be completely fine. You want something to eat?" Flurry just looked at me and tilted her head to the side. "I'll take that as a maybe." I got up onto my feet and walked out towards the hallway and unpacked the apples I had previously taken from the apple family orchard. "This'll do." I said to myself. I made my towards the kitchen but before I entered, I took a quick look into the living room. Lyra was sitting on the couch struggling to keep her eyes open whilst watching the movie. "I guess I won't have to deal with her for a while." I entered my kitchen and opened a cabinet that revealed a large assortment of knives. I picked up the smallest knife which was just 15 centimeters and started cutting up the apple I grabbed. I cut each new slice in half about three times and removed the seeds as well. I put some of the slices on a plate and put the knife in the dishwasher. "I sure hope you like this," I filled up a glass of water and carried the plate and glass out to the living room and into the bedroom. Flurry was nowhere to be seen. My heart started beating rapidly. I put the glass and plate on my nightstand and looked under the bed, nope. I got up and proceeded to make my way out of the room until I heard. "Well aren't you just the cutest little thing ever, I just wanna squeeze your cheeks," I quickly ran out of bedroom and looked into the living room. I saw Lyra cradling Flurry like a stuffed toy. I let out a sigh of relief and went to fetch the plate of apples. I made my way towards the living room and sat down in the same spot as before and looked over to Lyra and Flurry. They were both laughing and enjoying each other's company, almost like mother and daughter. "Looks like you two are having fun." I said announcing my presence. Flurry didn't acknowledge me but Lyra did. "I-I-Isn't s-she sooooooo cuuuute?" Lyra responded with exaggerated head movements. "Oh right, I forgot you were drunk. maybe not the best role model." "Yeah, she sure is." I smiled. "I got something for her to eat." I held up the plate and Lyra nodded. Lyra picked up Flurry in her hooves and said. "We got some fooood for yooou." Lyra drunkenly said to Flurry. "Oh no, this is probably not a good idea" Flurry just smiled and laughed. Lyra turned Flurry around and placed Flurry in her lap and was now facing me, I was already prepared with an apple slice in my hands ready to feed her, but when she laid her eyes on me, she turned around and hugged Lyra's stomach and started babbling baby language. Lyra looked up at me with anger in her eyes. "Why did you do that!?" she angrily spat out. "Do what?" I confusingly asked. "You scared her!!" she retorted back. Even whilst drunk, Lyra had a motherly nature. "Bullssssschnitzel! I didn't mean to." "Here, let me do it" Before I could respond Lyra ripped the plate out of my grasp and proceeded to try and feed Flurry. I'm surprised about how much Lyra changed when it came to Flurry. Earlier she could string together a normal sentence, now she's a temporary mother or she just sobered up really quickly. "Flurry," Lyra said calmly. Flurry looked up from her stomach and up to her face. "I got something for you." Lyra levitated an apple slice towards Flurry's face and she stopped babbling and eagerly grabbed the slice of apple in her hooves and started eating in small bites. "I give up." I said to no one. I leaned back into the couch and waited for Flurry to finish her food. "Whyyy would you wants to give up? It's only the firsts day." Lyra spoke up. "I guess drunk Lyra came out again?" "It's just so hard, I mean look at you." I pointed down to Flurry who was still sitting in Lyra's lap eating her third apple slice. "You can take care of Flurry even whilst drunk." Lyra's simple response was. "I'm not druuunk" Lyra said followed my giggles from her. "Of course you aren't" I whispered to myself. I looked down onto Flurry again and saw that she had finished her apple slices started to yawn, I gave out a yawn as well upon realizing how tired I really was. "I'm probably gonna head to bed now." I said tiredly. "Oh, yeah me too, I-I can sleep out here on the couch." Lyra responded in a disappointed tone. I looked at Lyra then down on the floor. "Wow, I would look like the biggest dick if I let her sleep out here," "No no no. You can sleep in my bed. I can sleep on the couch." Lyra looked at me straight in the eyes and said. "R-Really? In your bed?" I mentally sighed and thought "*Sigh* This again?" "Yes you can sleep in my bed, if you want?" "Well, thank you so much." Lyra got of the couch and down onto the wooden floor, "Come here." Lyra said motioning to Flurry. Flurry complied and jumped down from the couch and onto her back and Lyra proceeded to my bedroom. "Are you gonna be okay with Flurry?" I asked Lyra. Lyra turned her head and gave me a simple nod. "Great," I simply replied "Good night." I turned off the TV and the console. I grabbed the a blanket hanging of the armrest on the couch, I unrolled it and laid down on my back. I heard a door closing, presumably my bedroom door. Before I let sleep envelope me I had one final thing to say. "..." "..." "*sigh* This blows."
