It was an early morning the smell of honey in the air a young colt laying on his bed his beautiful black mane sprawled over his bed and his vibrant gray fur glowing in the light, The colt's name star is diamond he is a young colt full of life he is rather nervous though today will be a big change to his life he will be leaving home for the first time hee will be going to a school known as hoof field academy in a far away place so far even Princess Celestia does not know of its existence, Young star diamond will need to be brave and show courage at this far away place he does not know of what dangers may lurk in the shadows of hoof field academy.
Slowly star diamond awakens to an amazing aroma that filled the air in his room on his table beside him was pancake's drenched in honey and next to the plate of honey was simply carrot juice young star diamond really hated carrot juice and he always wonder's why his parent's buy him the foul tasting juice, He decided to eat the honey-drenched pancakes and just get rid of the carrot juice somehow his parent's always knew though that he would throw it away somehow he simply hid it in the dresser that has star diamond's useless toys, he has always had a strong dislike of the toy's his parent's bought for him they were not to his liking.
Star diamond after finishing up his delicious pancake's went to the bathroom to fix his mane his beautiful black mane was rather long it always annoyed him he felt like a little filly with a long mane he has alway's asked his father to cut it but every time he asked his father grew rather angry with him, Star diamond after a few moment's finally fixed his mane into a style that made it seem shorter than it actually was, He crept downstairs not wanting to wake his father from his nap but soon he realized there was no reason to his father was on the couch reading the daily equestrian news his father always liked the articles that were in the new's paper's they were entertaining.
His father quickly noticed another presence in the room "Hello son" his father said in a stern voice his voice always frightened him,"Hello father" Star diamond said in a low voice, His father placed the new's paper on the table and stood up his father was a brown stallion and a short mane and beautiful green eye's, Star diamond's mother came from the kitchen and gave her husband a small smooch "Hey honey it's about time to tell star" star's father almost forgot about what day it is this day his son will leave home for a very long time it sadden him that he could not see his son for an extended period of time but it made him proud that his son will be able to grow as a pony and a stallion "Yes son today you will be going to a school far from home we will not be able to see each other till next semester but don't be gloom my boy we will visit on holiday's we already have your thing's ready" Star was shocked by what his father was saying.
After a few moment's star understood that he will be leaving home but why school his parent's always taught him at home but he knew he will never question his father or his mother, His mom was shorter then his father she had a similar color to star's mane and fur the only thing that star gained from his father was his eye's, his mom had brown eye's , Star learned long ago that questing his father's commands is a bad idea and even worse of an idea of questing his mom she was harsh if questioned,Star and his parent's went to the train station star's thing were already there this train was special it went to place's that were not very known to anyone really star didn't question it he didn't want to cause any trouble but he knew his destination his parent's gave him a simple explanation of the school.
Before the train left his mother and father gave him a hug and wished him good luck at school his mother truly looked sad that she had to send her son to a far away place to get a safe education but it is far the best, After the goodbye's from his parent's star got on the train and decided to sit in the farthest part of the train far from the other ponies so he can be alone and think about school and how will he survive there, Slowly star drifted off to sleep a few moment's later star awoke and stared outside the window he saw in the distance a giant gated school it looked lovely the sun was setting on the school but star got to the school just in time he had help from the train conductor to get his thing's from the train he was lucky he was even able to drag his thing's to the school right in front of the school was an old stallion wearing a tie.
"Hello there are you star diamond" the older stallion stared at star waiting for a reply "um yes" star said in a rather low voice "hello it is nice to meet you I will be your history teacher the student's call me red so you can as well I was told to help you find your room please follow me" star followed the teacher to his dorm room star was now an official student at hoof field academy his life shall forever change the following month's but how we must wait and see because only time will tell,While following the teacher to his dorm way off in the distance lurked a shadow a figure unlike no other it was watching and waiting but for what we do not know.
