Prisoner to chain, fool to me.
Changes of the amount of the hemoglobin in a cell will lead to a harder time circulating oxygen throughout an organism's body-
“The fuck you doin’? Writing in your motha’ fuckin’ diary? You gonna’ be the bitch of the day?!” Hollered a fellow inmate, in a depreciatory manner “Boy get yo’ bitch ass over here.”
Looking across the yard I spotted a large african man and a few other around him, clearly wanting to start trouble.
“Me?” I yelled back towards them, hoping it wasn’t me they were talking to.
“Yes you, you fuckin’ bitch, stop holdin' and get ova’ here!” The clear leader yelled back
I put my notepad away, and searched for a guards gaze, there was none. I looked at the leader of the group and attempted to identify who he was.
Leon, a smug lean inmate serving 10 years for manslaughter, bigger than most and has already claimed territory of the block, from the ceiling, to the smallest grain of dirt that came off of the guards shoes. He was cockier than a rooster. Father's supposedly a big jig in one of the bigger cartels down in Arizona. A true fool, flaunting his power.
Walking over, calmly, thinking about where each step lands, and its timing. An old trick used by military officers to seem calmer than they really are. Freaking out on the outside will do me no good, but the inside can say whatever it wishes. Eyeing out the three of his punks, two are clear cholos and the other is a shady man if I've ever seen one.
“What did you bother me for?” I asked tentatively, worried he might be out to make a show of me. After all, only one other and I won’t take his shit, despite the threat of death looming over our heads. Nothing to lose, I thought to myself.
“I asked what the fuck you was doin’, you deaf?” He said with a slight chuckle. “I won’t bite you or nothin’, take a seat” gesturing to the bench parallel to his own.
“Study work, it’s the only thing I can do until I get released,” I said as smoothly as I could, which was not very “you know. The biologay shit?”
“Fuck that bullshit, we you don’t need that in life,” One of the obvious cholos bragged “Just look at us, we built a life in here boy”
“Ease up on him ya fuckin’ taco lova’” snapped Leon, the man moved back “besides, we still need to teach him his lesson for his fuck up last week. You remember whatchu’ did ya lil’ shit? I do.”
“No, should I? I've given you no aggression, what do you think I did wrong?” Keeping a calm stare into his eyes, while still keeping check on those around him. Catching a stalk of movement behind me, and noticing one of the cholos were gone. Shitshitshitshitshit, why is that fucker going behind me!? Better not be doing what I think you’re doing. “Would you mind getting your ‘boy’ out from behind me?”
“Well” grinning like the evil bastard he is “This is the first part of your lesson, for getting in my way of shanking that fucker, Jay.”
Shit! I just stopped you from murdering a fool in frontof the guards, I saved both of you, you stupid- I felt a sudden force upon the upper back of my neck, then nothing.
Eugh, the fuck. Slightly opening my eyes I saw I was in a cell, Leon’s cell.
“Hi fuckboy, I see you’re awake, don’t even try to fake it” Leon squealed popping into existence, and dropping from the top bunk of the cell.
“Hey boys! He’s up!” He yelled out the cell door “you better be ready!”
In walked two large, very large, men. Rob, and Alberto. The two torturers of the prison, they tortured those they got their hands on for fun, and the guards paid them no mind for it.
“We got this from here” Rob told Leon “this little shit won’t be doing anything for a long ass time, thought he would have learned his lesson after the past several times.”
“We will just step it up then won’t we?” Said Alberto
“Just don’t kill the shit alright, he’s still just a fuckin’ kid, we’s all been kids befo’” Leon warned them “He can still learn to mind his fuckin’ own and stay outta the way.”
As Leon walked away, I began to hear the hefty breathing from one of the two, mixed with a chuckle. Sadistic bastards are gonna kill me, I thought to myself, the fear of the pain that was to come surfacing itself causing chaos in my mind.
Resisting as much as I could, I could feel what felt like the sleeves of prisoners jumpsuits binding my legs and arms. they stood behind me muttering to themselves for what felt like hours.
“What in god’s fucking name is going on here!” Came a shout from the direction of the cell door. A guard? FUCK YES MOTHER FUCKER!
“Stab the fucker! Don’ lettim’ snitch!” Yelled Rob, as he presumably ran towards the guard in question.
“Do not resist! Get on the floor! Get on th- Gaah!” I heard the scream of the guard as he was presumably stabbed.
Schlick, schlick, schlick. The sounds of repetitious stabbing filled the hall.
“Shit, we got to kill the kid, he gonna snitch on us.” Rob said, almost sounding empathetic.
“Let's kill this fucker, he should die, I just wish he could suffer more” Alberto said smoothly, the type of smooth that comes from someone serving a life sentence due to the murder of many people. His clear personality shining through.
Fear, fear gripped me so tight I began to feel sensations I never felt before. The tightening of my chest, the feeling of being ripped away gripped my skin. Pulling, like a vacuum pressed upon skin pulling away. Green and brown filled my eyes as pain filled by body, I wished and wished and wished more than anything to escape, to leave, to survive. To go home.
But as all beings know, the universe does not work like that, the universe I was in gave one last ‘Fuck You!’ To me and sent me on my way. This last ‘Fuck You’ was an immense amount of pain, similar to a french man slamming a hammer into my head.
Then all went shit.
And here I am, after an immense amount of pain and attempting to clear by eyes of spots, staring up into the sky. What the fuck, I was in a fucking building, and those fucking guards don't care enough to drag my bleeding carcass out of the cell, they have people to do that for them. How could I possibly be seeing what Im seeing! Did one of them care enough? Whom?
Turning my head, some grass lightly blocked the field on my left,same with the field on the right. Both sides lined with dark trees, with shadows decorating the ground in front of them, daring any to venture forth. Giving up looking as there is no chance anybody could see through such thickness, I attempt to sit up to get a more accurate description of my surroundings. Pain, courses through my back as my spine attempts to straighten. Too much pain, as I fall back into the grass I see the top of what looks to be a very vertical mountain, if mountains had spirals at the top.
