*Takes place in Ponyville, a sort of optional chapter in my book called Drowned in Secrets even though it's not placed in Baltimare. Also, it's an EG Fic*
A knock came from the door. "I'll get it!" I run towards the door and unlock it. I see Silver Quill standing in the doorway. "Hey, what's up?" I ask letting her into the house.
"Hi, nothing much." She walks in the house. "So what do you wanna do?" she responds back walking into the kitchen. "Oh! Do you have Nutella?" I look at her. I walk into the kitchen with her trailing behind me.
"Really dude, since when does my house not have Nutella?" I ask walking over to the cabinet and pull out a huge container of Nutella, she gasps.
"Can I have some." She laughs a tiny laugh.
"Sure, I'll get you a plate... You know where the waffles are." I watch her walk over to the freezer and pull out a waffle and pop it in the toaster. We walk into the living room and sit down in a chair. "So...." I ask nodding my head.
"So....." She says back nodding her head. "What'd you wanna do?"
"I don't know, uh... we have games, board games, we could go upstairs, do stuff... If you know what I mean...." I look at her and run upstairs.
"Really, Midnight? Omigosh, you are so wrong dude." She exclaims.
"Look who's talking..." I snap back. We hear the beep of the toaster and she runs in almost making me trip. She takes the waffle out of the toaster and spreads the Nutella all over it. "Okay, okay. I think... I think you've had enough Nutella for an entire week." I take the Nutella from her and stick it back in the pantry.
She walks to the table and sets the plate down. "Mmm, this is really good Nutella." She comments.
"Uh, thanks, I guess." I watch her eat the waffle that has been drowned in a sea of Nutella. I feel bad for that waffle. She finishes the waffle right as my Mom walks in the kitchen. "Hi, Mom!"
"Hi, daughter, hi, daughter number two. I have to go, I'm going to eat dinner with some friends of mine. I'll be back by ten or ten thirty. Aqua is coming with me so don't blow up the house, or anything."
"Us? Noooo, okay we'll try not to blow anything up." I reassure her.
"Okay, bye. See you later." I watch her walk out the door and turn back to Silver Quill.
"Wanna go upstairs?"
"Sure." She and I walk upstairs to my room and shut the door behind us to keep my dog out. "Sorry, boy." We sit on my bed in an awkward silence for a couple of minutes. "Wanna watch a movie?" She asks me.
"Sure what movie?" I turn on my computer and pull up Netflix. I go to the Horror movies tab and look through them. "Oh! The Human Centipede!"
"No! I- No, fuck off, we are not watching that! How about The Walking Dead?" I suggest.
"Maybe, or we could watch The Starving Games again but I don't really want too." She tells me while I continue to browse through the Horror section of Netflix. "Curse of Chucky!"
"No! Are you crazy! My mom's not gonna let me watch that, I already asked her a couple of months ago. I tell her. " What about The Shrine, no, no, I don't want to watch that."
"Here, wait, I'll look up Good Horror Movies on Netflix." She jumps off my bed and teleports downstairs. In a flash, she's back. She crawls onto my bed and turns on her phone.
"What about Dead Silence?" I ask her, she looks up from her phone.
"Nah, do you see that doll, that is creepy as fuck!" I continue scrolling.
"What about... I don't know." I peek over Silver Quill's shoulder. "Whoa, what's that movie? Click on it." She clicks on the movie and it takes her to another tab.
"It's a movie called Would you Rather. I guess it is Would You Rather but death style? Maybe. Wanna watch it?"
"Sure." I pull it up on the computer.
"Oh, wait... it's NR, do you still wanna watch it?" She asks.
I was really confused, what the hell is NR?" I ask her.
"Not Rated." She tells me. "Do you still want to watch Would You Rather? Oh, wait. I came up with the best pun sort of thing. Ready?" I nod "Would You Rather watch this movie or continue searching?" She looks at me with her face all accomplished. "Haha, see what I did there? Because the movie is called Would You Rather? Haha."
I glance at her. "Wow, I totally couldn't figure out the pun myself...Haha." I look at her thinking that was the worst pun some pony could ever make. "Wow, good job," I smile and continue playing the movie.
"Wait." I pause the movie again. " Can we turn off the lights and close the door? It adds effect."
"Fine." I walk over to the door and close it along with the light switch next to it. The room goes dark and I can barely see. I make it back to my bed and lay down in front of my computer with Silver right next to me, I grab a pillow and place it in front of my body in case something really scary happens and I don't want to watch it. Silver does the same. I unpause the movie and we roll through the first twenty minutes of it. "Wow, this is really boring," I tell her.
"Come on, let's just keep watching." I follow what she says and I keep the movie playing. I look at the screen and watch every movement of the main character. Suddenly she gets zapped, I cringe. "What the fuck was that??" I close my eyes and rest my head on the pillow. I was actually kind of tired. I began to fall asleep.
"Midnight? Midnight Strike?" I open my eyes, I fly up, startled and hit my head on the ceiling. I don't know how long it's been but I can only assume it's been about fifteen minutes, the movie is still playing. "Would You Rather... Stab the person to your left with an ice pick or whip the person to your right with an African Whipping Stick." I lift my head from the pillow and look at the screen.
"Holy fuck, why?!" I scream. Silver and I exchange looks. Both terrified. We watch as Iris, the main character reaches for the whip. "Just get it over with already, do what you need to do."
We keep watching, she violently swings the whip in the air and all we heard was crack, crack, crack. "Holy shit, shit got real." I peek over the pillow to see if it's over. It is. The person's back is all bloody. "I am so sorry." We hear Iris say.
"It's the next person's turn. "Would you rather... Hit this person with the whip three more times.... or stab the player to your right in the thigh with the ice pick?" I hear the host asking. "You have fifteen seconds to decide." Whip me. I don't care, I have been through worse. Just get it over with please." He pleads. The second character gets up and walks over to him. I hide behind the pillow. crack, crack, crack. It goes on like this for another turn. "What the fuck?! What the fuck?!?" I scream. He's the only one taking all the fucking abuse! People, get your fucking shit together! Take one for the team, why don't you instead of giving him all the torture?! You fucks!" Half the people are gone by now. Travis, the guy who was whipped had died and so had three other people by the end of that round. Linda, Travis and one other guy I forgot the name of. He was shot. There are only four people left.
A couple of minutes later we hear the guy saying it's time for the next round. "Next round! How can you even have the next round! half the people are fucking dead you bitch!" The take the dead people away and the butler hands out cards While the other butler takes out a barrel. A barrel of water. "Now in this round, you will have thirty seconds and two choices. You can either, Stay under water in the barrel for two minutes or you can open up your card and do what is says."
The first person decides the card. She opens it up and looks inside it, "What the hell does this mean." It's was a cage with a four in it, or that was my guess. "That means you must stay under water for, not two minutes but four minutes. "Oh shit!" I gasp. "What the fuck?!"
She walks over to the barrel and the butler grabs her neck while the host sets up the clock. "Go." I hear the girl take a breath, a short breath. "She wasn't ready!" Another character calls out. We watched as the girl struggled and tried to get up out of the barrel but she was done for. "She fought the weight of the man but she didn't get up. All of a sudden she went limp. The butler took her out and laid her on the floor. After that, she didn't come back.
Another character takes a chance with the card. "A picture of an eye? What the fuck?" The hostess looks at it. "Oh, yes. It means you must slit your eye. You have thirty seconds." The butler comes over and hands him a mirror and a scalpel. He was just down to five seconds when we did cut his eye. We heard him scream, but he was still alive.
The movie was almost over thankfully. We watched the rest from behind the pillow. "I want my mommy to come home," I whined, Silver looked over at me though I could barely tell it was her without any light. We turned on the lamp as soon as the movie ended. "Holy fuck! What the fuck! That is not okay, what the fuck!" I yell. " No wonder it was rated NR!" I scream.
Silver hugs me tightly. "What the fuck! Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay! We are watching something happy now! I am done with scary!" I look over at her. "What's that show you were talking about? With all the vegetables and shit?"
"Veggie Tales?"
"Yes, that one!" I scream! "Let's watch that!" I pull it up on my computer and start the first episode, about ten minutes in I hear my Mom's voice. "Mom!' I run downstairs and see my sister Aqua too. "Can we make cookies?" Suddenly I hear another voice from the kitchen, it was Twilight's!
"Twilight! Come upstairs!" I yell. I heard footsteps and a second later she appeared in my room.
"Hi girls! Look who else is here!" Pinkie Pie pops out from behind her.
"Pinkie Pie!" Silver shouts.
"Hi! Wanna party!" She asks.
"We were just watching Veggie Tales!" I tell her.
"OMIGOSH! I love that show!!" She screams in excitement. "Can I watch too?!"
"Yeah!" We scoot over and Pinkie jumps on the bed. We continue. We pause the show again.
"Omigosh, we watched the scariest movie ever. Well sort of, it was scary and then we watched Veggie Tales and then we decided we're going to watch The Walking Dead."
"Um, okay great..... Aqua and I are going to make cookies if you want any." Twilight tells us walking downstairs.
"Whoa, yes please!" Silver Quill insists.
Twilight looks back at us. "Okay they'll be ready in 10 minutes!" She walks downstairs leaving Pinkie and Silver and I to watch Veggie Tales.
"Gils, cookies are ready!" We shot up and run downstairs. "Yay!" We run into the kitchen and take a plate from the cabinet. I pick up three cookies and hand the spatula over to Silver Quill.
"Do you have any milk?" She asks me taking her plate to the table.
"Yeah! I'll get it for you." I walk over to the fridge and take the milk out. "Here you go!" I hand her the milk and I grab a cup from the cabinet. She pours her milk and pours me a glass too. "Thanks! Just don't make a mess with the milk like you always do please."
"I'll try not to." She dips her cookie in her cup of milk and already begins to splash milk all over the place.
"Ahem! Clea it up!" I tell her handing her a napkin.
"Sorry..." She cleans the milk up and continues on with her cookie dipping. " This milk tastes a bit weird." She tells me.
"What do you mean?" I ask lifting my cup up to my mouth. I take a big gulp of milk and swallow it. "Ah, ew! Blah!! Ewww." I stick my tongue out of my mouth and wipe it with a napkin. "What the hell? Give me the milk please!" She hands over the milk and I look at the due date. "Ummm..... This- this went bad.... la- last month...." I hear Silver begin to laugh.
'R- Really?!" She asks laughing so hard.
"Yeah." I throw out the milk and look back in the fridge for more. "We have more!" I look at the due date on this bottle. "Nevermind, scratch that!" I throw out that container of milk. "Lesson learned. Always, and I mean always check the due date on things in this house... Because you never know what's been in this house and for how long..." I laugh.and we go back upstairs, a few minutes later my Mom comes upstairs.
"Hey, can we sleep in your Mom's room tonight?" Silver Quill asks me.
"Yeah, I suppose so," I tell her, I walk into my mother's room and ask her. She tells us that there is an air matress in her closet. We take it out and blow it up. "Thanks, Mom." We tear the sheets off my bed and throw them onto the air mattress. "Love you mom." we turned off the light and went to bed.
"My Mother is a fucking savior!!!" I whisper to Silver Quill.
