Clumsy, but helpful

Only me, Amber Sky, can find himself in this situation. Sitting on a table, that had a map of all of Equestria. Surrounded by the mares that have saved Equestria over and over again. Even the princess of friendship had a stunned look on her face. To add to it all, i had three spares pointed at me, the guards ready to attack. My ears itched in annoyance. How do I find myself in these situations?
“Um, sorry.” I apologize, I opened my pale orange wings. I flew out of the window I came in through. I landed on a street near the castle, my ears flattened in frustration. I started walking down the street when a blur flew past me.
“Oh no you don’t!” I screamed as I flew after it.
I chased it back towards the castle. This time it was staying close to the ground. I was almost close enough to reach it when the princess appeared in my vision. I tried in vain to try and stop my wings. I stumbled into the princess. I was upside down as I stared up at the princess.
I quickly tried to regain myself and bow to the princess. When I looked up at her she had a look of discomfort. What did I do wrong this time?
“I’m sorry.” I apologized, she sighed.
“It’s alright, I just felt I must ask. What were you doing in my castle?” She asked. I felt my face get warm.
“Sorry, again, I was trying to catch my friends falcon.”
She gave me a funny look, I guess that isn’t the best reason. The damn falcon loved to mess with me.
“Is that so? Well I didn’t see any falcon earlier, or now!” Rainbow dash excused.
“That’s because he wasn’t in the castle, he was flying in front of the window. I flew at him, then he flew up, and I landed in front of you guys.” I explained.
“Oh, that’s convenient, where’s this falcon now.” As if he heard, the falcon hovered behind the cyan pegasus.
“Actually I’m not sure, he got away from….” I started
I launched at the falcon, passed Rainbow Dash. The falcon repeated the move that caused me to go into the castle. THis time I flew head first into a tree. I sat down hard my head spinning.
“Damn, frigging, bird.” I complained, I didn’t want to curse in front of the princess, at least not completely.
“You’re just encouraging him.” Fluttershy mumbled. “Let me help.”
Fluttershy walked up to the falcon, I expected him to fly away. Instead he flew closer to the yellow pony. Now that’s just bull shit! Fluttershy had a short conversation to the falcon. He landed on her hoof. She brought him over to me.
I backed up a hoof, I was afraid the damn thing would slash at me. Then he flew over to my hoof, that I raised to protect myself.
“He said he won’t fly away anymore.” Fluttershy said, she gave me a weak smile.
I thanked her and walked away, nopony argued when I left. I need to stop getting myself stuck in this dumb situations.
As soon as I had walked out of the ponies view, the falcon tired to fly away. I grabbed his talon carefully with my mouth.
“Not this time.” I said, but it sounding more like. Noth tis tim.
I walked over to my friend, Doc’s, house. He asked me to find his falcon because he was busy with an important experiment.
I walked into the house at the edge of ponyville, the place was covered with papers. The machinery and vials, that was the places decor, freaked me out everytime. Doc was sitting at his desk, with his goggles over his lavender eyes. There was bags under his eyes. He was looking at some freaky black glowing substance. His dark blue mane was all over the place. His lab coat covered his navy blue fur.
“Hey Doc.” I greeted, the falcon flew out of my mouth. “I brought Talon back.”
“Oh, Sky, Thank you.” He replied without sparing me a glance. “I need you help with an experiment.”
“Oh no, no, no. Your experiments always end badly.”
“Oh come now. I promise nothing will happen.” I hesitated before continuing the conversation.
“What’s the experiment?”
“I found this unicorn magic essence. I want to see if I inject it into another pony. If they develop magic, without being a unicorn.”
“So you wanna make a alicorn?”
“No, no ,no, absolutely not. Alicorns have traits of all three races. Plus their magic powers are extremely more powerful then normal unicorns.”
“And if it dosen’t work?”
“Nothing. It just doesn't work.” I said.
“Fine.”
Doc jumped up in glee. He ran over to a big machine, it was made out of glass. He motioned me to go in. I flattened my ears, I wasn’t looking forward to this.
I entered the machine and was immediately greeted by three separate needles. One was pointed at my front right hoof, another at my flank, the last one at my neck. I gulped as the needles approached me. I was only when I started fighting that Doc warning me not to move. I became stiff, as the pitching pain spread through me. It felt weird as the black fluid seeped into me. Although I didn’t feel any different.
I left the machine making sure everything still worked. Nothing seemed wrong or out of place. Doc walked over with me, curiosity in his eyes.
“I don’t think it worked Doc.” I stated, he shook his head.
“I disagree, it turned your turquoise eyes, a dark purple.” He explained.
“Really?”
“Yeah, but your mane is still brown and blue, and your coat still light blue.”
“That’s a relief.”
“Come here first thing tomorrow.”
“Okay, you owe me big.”
“Yep.”
I walked out the door. He really didn’t owe me at all. If anything I still owe him. After all he saved my life. I glanced down at the scars on my hooves. I shook my head violently. Don’t think about it. Plus, Doc said not to worry about it. Some day I’ll make it up to him.
