Twilight yelled in surprise as she looked at her teacher. Celestia looked at her daughter and said to Twilight, " Nova will explain to you... eventually. I have a feeling she knows something I don't." Twilight looked again at the filly, her eyes looked like they have seen things of the unknown, yet she was only a young alicorn filly, what did she know? Celestia dismissed Twilight and told her to stay the night and leave in the morning, along with her sister. First thing the next morning they started their flight back to Ponyville. Twilight flew through the throne room window and was surprised to see her friends there talking. When she landed her friend's mouths dropped open, Twilight was confused at first, then she remembered Nova flew in behind her. "Well, everypony this is Nova, a new princess, and somehow my little sister." "Hello there." said Nova as she faced the shell shocked room.

Micheal was a young earth pony who just moved to ponyville months ago. He only moved here to look for his sister. His parents said he was more like her than any other pony, he also sped off without thinkinking and forgot to ask what her name was. Five months later he is still living in Ponyville, still not knowing who his sister is. His parents also told him that his sister had changed her name to something more "fun". He changed his also, from mix' em. Micheal's one other problem was school. He wasn't bad at it, he excelled at it, it was just that nopony wanted to be his friend. Well almost nopony. "Hi, Dove." Michael said to his only friend as he walked into the secluded clearing close to the school. "Hey, have any luck yet?"Lovey Dove asked. "No. You?"Michael answered then returned the question. "No." answered Lovey Dove in a saddened tone. She was a young pegasus filly who came to Ponyville to find her sister also. She had lived there only a little longer than Michael. They became friends when their classmates excluded them, they would meet in the clearing to escape from the bullying of Diamond Tiara and her posse. They mostly talked about finding their sisters and school, they continued to excel in school, but fail to find their sisters. The school bell soon rung after they started talking. They both heaved pained sighs, they didn't like having to walk in with the other young ponies. They would usally be in the school housevat least 15 minutes before the bell rung. They rushed to the school house, but it was to late, the two little shy ponies would have to face Diamond Tiara. "Hi blank flanks, are you late getting somewhere?" she sneered from the school's stoop. The two hid their faces and galloped to the back of the room where they usually sat. They escaped from being laughing stocks... this time. "Morning students!" said their teacher merrily, " I have a great surprise for you all... we are getting a new student!"

Applebloom did remember, she just didn't want to wait for the problem to come to them this time. "I know who we can help next!" Sweetiebelle said excitedly almost squealing. She pointed out the three other ponies they had helped out earlier. The alicorn was by herself, the CMC almost missed the other two; who were well hidden by some bushes. "Did you guys not notice that they had no cutiemarks? It looks like we have our next mission!" Sweetiebelle gleamed happily. "Cutiemark Crusaders Go, Yay!" the CMC yelled together. This caused a few head turns, but they went back to what they were doing soon after. "How about me and Sweetiebelle get those two and you get the new girl Applebloom." suggested Scootaloo. "Okay, let's meet up at the clubhouse. Okay y'all?" Applebloom concluded. The CMC nodded in agreement, then they ran off toward their targets. "Hiya!"greeted Applebloom walking up to the alicorn filly. "Hi." Nova responded. "I was just wondering if you would like to come over to me and my friends's clubhouse today. Do you think you could, please?" "Um..." Nova was still unsure about this earth pony, she did stand up for her, but she still didn't know much about her. "I guess, i'll just have to ask Twilight to come." Nova finally answered her. "That's fine, we should get goind then, shouldn't we?" said Applebloom as she and Nova started off toward Twilight Sparkle's castle. "Hi you two!"Scootaloo exclaimed as she and Sweetiebelle finally got to the other side of the bushes. The pink filly jumped and the colt stared at the two fillies with wide eyes. Clearly expecting it to be Diamond Tiara again, he relaxed when he saw it was just Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle. "Hi, umm..." Micheal really couldn't find anything to say, he had only talked to Lovey Dove since he was in Ponyville. "We've come to ask you if you would like to come to our clubhouse. Well, only if you want to." Sweetiebelle asked the two outright. The two look surprised, nopony really asked them anywhere. Micheal spoke first. "Sure, I guess." he said as he shifted his feet a little bit. He was still kinda shy. Lovey Dove only nodded, she was the really timid one of the two. "Great let's go!" Scootaloo said as she started toward the bushes where she had come from. "There's a path... right over there." Lovey Dove whispered as she pointed to the path Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle had totally missed. "Oh,right, let's go this way then." Sweetiebelle said as she started down the path. Nova's voice echoed throughout the empty hallways. " I the throne room!" Twilight's voice echoed back. Nova walked to the throne with Applebloom gazing around at her side. "Do ya actually live here with Princess Twilight? "Applebloom asked looking at the alien filly questioningly. "Yes, she is my sister after all..." Nova trailed off long enough for Applebloom to interrupt. "Wait...WHAT!?" Applebloom nearly shouted. "I said nothing!" Nova said, urging the filly to calm down. Nova let out a sigh of relief as they finally reached the throne room door. Twilight was sitting in her throne sorting through papers and books. The cutie map was not showing, but seeing that it would have been covered by paper made sense that it didn't show. Twilight turned around and saw the two fillies waiting for her to acknowledge them. "Is there something wrong?"Twilight asked. "I...um...came to ask...you if i...could go over to her clubhouse?" Nova gestured over to Applebloom. Applebloom waved and smiled at Twilight. Twilight looked between the two and smiled. "I knew that you would make friends quickly, go on ahead. As for you Applebloom, don't get in any trouble. "At this, Nova lifted a eyebrow at Applebloom. Her look dissapated before Twilight or Applebloom could notice. "Well let's get goin' then." Applebloom said as she motioned for Nova to follow her. Nova looked back at Twilight, she had already went back to sorting through the papers on the table. The two young fillies left the castle and headed to Sweet Apple Acres. Applebloom had some questions for Nova, that just couldn't wait. "Twilight is your sister, huh?" Applebloom finally decided to ask. Nova knitted her eyebrows together deep in thought. "Yes."Nova answered. "But... how? I already that Twilight has a big brother and sister in law,but not a little sister. Hey, how old are you?"Applebloom asked all the questions she had thought of. She may have had more, but she would ask those later. "For your first question it's... complicated. I don't know how to explain it, but I just know we are sisters. For your second question, I'm 10. How about you?" Nova out of curiosity. "Same age here, my friends also. How do just know she's your sister , that just sounds crazy."Applebloom asked Nova. "Like I said, it's complicated how I know." Nova answered again. Applebloom was still curious about this alicorn, but they were half way to the clubhouse by now. Applebloom also saw she was making Nova uncomfortable with all the questions. She decided to change the subject. "Did you know that this is my family's farm?" Applebloom asked her, suspecting she would know. "Didn't know that. "Nova said, she started look around more at Applebloom's comment though. Applebloom's jaw dropped, there wasn't a pony in Ponyville that didn't know about the Apple family's farm. Well there used to be no pony that didn't know about it. Applebloom started to think of more questions to ask Nova, but they had arrived at the clubhouse. "Come on, us crusaders usually meet here." Applebloom said as she towards the CMC clubhouse. The walked up the ramp and entered the clubhouse, they were greeted by mayhem. Author's Note If you don't like it, that's fine. Scootaloo, Sweetiebelle, Michael, and Lovey Dove arrived at the walkway of the clubhouse. " This is our clubhouse, do you like it? " Sweetiebelle asked the newcomers. Scootaloo stood off to the side, thinking that Sweetiebelle was trying to hard. " Sweetiebelle, they have to see the inside of it before they say they like it. " Scootaloo interjected. " Oh, right. Come on then. " Sweetiebelle urged the two. They walked up the walkway and entered the clubhouse. " This is our clubhouse, do you like it, do you? " Sweetiebelle asked. The two looked around the clubhouse and finally answered. " It looks nice, did you build it yourselves? " Michael asked. " No, we fixed it up.It is pretty cool, huh? " Scootaloo replied looking around the clubhouse. " Um... this is nice, but. ..could we open up a window? " Lovey Dove asked. " Sure go ahead, we are still waiting for two others. " Sweetiebelle told Lovey Dove. Lovey Dove opened up the window and propped her chin on it. They started some smalltalk and they got some information about the two shy ponies. * Once Michael starts talking his shyness slips away. * Lovey Dove is the shyest. * The two of them moved to Ponyville to find their sisters, not their cutie marks. * Michael was raised on a rock farm. The last detail caught the crusaders attention. "What's your last name? " Scootaloo asked, starting to put two and two together. " Pie, why? " Michael asked oblivious to what the crusaders were thinking. Before the crusaders could tell Michael about Pinkie, they heard a chitter and a tweet from the window. They looked at window and saw a squirrel and a blue jay had settled next to Lovey Dove. " Shoo! Get out of here! " Scootaloo yelled at the animals. The bird started to fly around wildly and the squirrel went out of the window. " Scootaloo, why did you do that? You scared the poor things. They only wanted to sit with me. " Lovey Dove said as she calmed down the bird. Scootaloo looked at the filly in silent awe, she could only guess who Lovey Dove's sister was. They began to hear angry chittering from the window. The four looked outside the window and saw a large band of squirrels, and they did not look happy. " This what you get for scaring her Scootaloo. " Lovey Dove said. "I didn't know! " Scootaloo replied. At this, squirrels charged in from the window and scattered everywhere. The squirrels were ripping and destroying everything in sight. "Can somepony fix this?" Sweetiebelle yelled in dispair. Everypony else was struggling to keep the squirrels at bay, but not really succeeding. Just then the door opened and everypony turned to see Applebloom and Nova standing in the doorway, looking as stunned as could be. Lovey Dove yelled, the colt still didn't stop. "MICHAEL STOP!!" Nova yelled. This made the colt stop in his tracks, the others slammed into him from behind. "Thanks Nova, I was never able to do that. Wait, how could you?" Lovey Dove asked her while raising up a eyebrow. "Nevermind that, what were you doing Michael? You don't even know where Pinkie lives!" Applebloom questioned Michael. He thought about it for a moment and his colors went dull again, but he still had the slight curl from before. "Oh...um... sorry. I guess I got excited a little bit." Michael said while rubbing the back of his head. " A bit? You got as excited as Pinkie Pie, except that you skipped over the really fast talk." Scootaloo told the colt. " Could You please lead to where Pinkie is? Please?" Michael said with urgency. "Sure, as long as you don't go running off again." Applebloom warned. "I promise." Michael said as he started to smile again. They started their trek to Sugarcube corner. Applebloom and Scootaloo struck up conversation in the front, Sweetiebelle and Lovey Dove started to converse also in the back, and Nova and Michael walked in the middle and were mostly silent. To break the ice, Michael started the conversation. "So... where are you from?" "Canterlot." Nova answered bluntly. Man this pony is a partypooper, Michael thought to himself. He looked up from the ground and looked at Nova, she staring at him with a weird look. Surprised and kind of weirded out, Michael looked away with a slight blush. "Why are you dull most of the time? I can tell you have a lot of energy, but..." Nova trailed off. "I think it has something to do with how I feel or my state of mind. You were right about me having a lot of energy. I'm saving that energy for when I meet my sister." Michael said as he smiled to himself. "How about you, any siblings? Besides Princess Twilight anyway." "Yes, but I haven't met them yet. I've heard they're great." Nova answered. "What do you expect your cutie mark to be? I hope mine has something to do with my sister's." Michael asked. "I don't know what to expect, I don't really have a special talent." Nova said, her head sagging down. Michael looked at Nova the though for a moment, then he smiled. "Those squirrels were total nutjobs, weren't they?" Michael said jokingly. At that Nova chuckled. "Thanks for that Michael, I needed a laugh." Nova thanked him. "Thank you for thinking my jokes are funny, Princess Nova." Michal said as he did a awkward bow as he walked. "Please do not call me princess, Nova is fine." Nova corrected Michael. "Sure." Michael said with a large smile. From this Nova blushed and so did Michael, all the way to sugarcube corner. The door thumped open and a loud boom, and confetti showered the six on the front stoop.

" That wasn't nice to scare them, I mean what if they fell down the stairs or...?" Fluttershy whispered then was cut off by Rainbow Dash. "But they didn't, so they're good." Rainbow Dash said in response while taking a break from laughing. While the Mane 6 started talking on whether the surprise was good or not the CMC started thinking of plans. "We have Michael and Lovey Dove here, but how do we explain that they are related to Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy?" Applebloom asked the crusaders. They were thinking ,but they couldn't come up with anything. Nova was listening and suggested: "Why don't you just present evidence that they are related? I mean, you did say you have them right here." The CMC all grinned, "Nova your a genius!" Sweetiebelle exclaimed. "Who's going to tell them though? Those two can't, because who would believe somepony they just met? And plus i'm not doing it." Scootaloo said as she put both of her forehooves up and backed away. "Not it!" Both Sweetiebelle and Nova said at the same time. "Fine, I'll do it. Not like I had a choice any way." Applebloom said smartly. "Um... which one is Fluttershy?" Lovey Dove asked while looking at the Mane 6, who still were ,surprisingly, still talking. "She's the one with the butterfly cutie mark, and Michael Pinkie Pie is..." Applebloom was cut off by Michael. " She's pretty self explanatory because she is the one that is all pink with really high energy!?" Michael said in a fast manner. For second time that day his colors went vibrant again from his excitment. Now you could plainly see that his mane and tail were a darker yellow than the rest of him. "Yep, there goes the fast talk." Scootaloo remarked. Right then the six of them noticed that the mane six had been silent for quite some time. When they looked at them, they all had looks of surprise. Twilight was having quite the nervous break down as she tried to process the new information. Although it should be Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie freaking out in this manner, instead Pinkie just bounced around the room like a rubber ball, while Fluttershy just quietly sat with her mouth ajar. The other three weren't doing any better, Rarity fainted, Rainbow Dash had her mouth ajar with her left eye twitching, Applejack were just sat there not moving a inch. The CMC sensed the tension and didn't dare say a word, Lovey Dove and Nova doing just the same. Just one pony, more specifically a colt, was oblivious to it all; he was the one to answer Twilight's question. "Well quite easy actually, you see I guess you now that my sister left home as a young filly. My weren't really expecting me so I popped up by surprise, and I grew up hearing all about Pinkie. I wanted to meet her so badly." Micheal started off. Pinkie Pie was done with her extra excitement and listened to the young colt. Of course she had a few, ok, ALOT of questions. "How come Mom or Dad never told me about you? Why didn't I at least see you when I visited all those times? Why didn't my sisters tell me?" Pinkie had a really confused look on her face, she even cocked her head to the side for emphasis. "Do you remember the time when Maud first came to Ponyville to visit you?" Micheal asked Pinkie, Pinkie nodded; staying unusually quiet. "Well when Maud got home she told me all about her stay. About your friends..." Micheal gestured around Sugar Cube Corner," ...the candy necklaces, the crazy course you made that she saved you from, and just the overall fun she had being with you. At this time I really wanted to meet so badly i asked my parents if I could move to Ponyville to finally meet you. Me being fast and not thinking clearly, I kinda of forgot to ask exactly where you live in Ponyville. Which ended with me living a friend of mine for some time now, which i guess led to today, me meeting you, and you know the rest." Micheal finished and looked up at Pinkie. She was holding her hooves to her mouth and was nearly in tears. In a blur of pink, she grabbed Micheal and put him into a deathgrip hug. "Pinkie Pie! Don't kill the poor colt on your first day of knowin' him!" Applejack exclaimed, she seemed to come out of her trance finally. Pinkie let Micheal go and squealed: "It's official! I Have a Little BROTHER!!!!." Pinkie Pie screamed at the top of her lungs, earning a chuckle and a small smile from Micheal. Due to Pinkie's outburst Rainbow Dash seemed to finally come back to her senses, Rarity also seemed to have woken up from her faint. "Uh, what has happened ?" Rarity asked as she got her bearings. Pinkie was humming with energy and was about to answer Rarity, but Micheal beat her to it. "After you fainted, i basically said who i was, Pinkie asked some questions, I answered her with a long and maybe boring speech, and Pinkie accepted that i was her brother." Micheal said all in one breath, in a very fast manner, almost equaling Pinkie's. "Well, what about the other one? How is she Fluttershy's sister?" Rainbow Dash inquired. Rainbow Dash's question was met with a almost sassy response. "Well, the 'other one' has a name and can talk for herself, I'm also right here. I may be as shy as my sister sometimes, but not always. The name is Lovey Dove." Lovey Dove said has she walked up. At the sound of her speaking, Fluttershy tensed, she of course knew the filly. Noticing Fluttershy's movement, she looked at her while she talked. "So you do remember me! Don't worry. I don't hate you, I'm so glad i see you after..." Lovey Dove looked to the side uncomfortably. Everyone in the room was looking at her in confusion except for Fluttershy. Lovey Dove hadn't even told Micheal about her past. Lovey Dove made small whimper and started to turn back into the shy filly she was when she first walked in, she started to back up. Unexpectedly Fluttershy flew across the room at a speed that surprised her friends. She scooped up Lovey Dove and hugged her, she finally started to cry. " I'm so sorry! We shouldn't have left you like that! I thought you wouldn't remember us, you were just a baby..." Fluttershy trailed off and continued to cry, soon even her little sister started to cry along with her. The others in the room had no idea what to do as scene unfolded in front of them. Everyone confused at what was Lovey Dove's past with Fluttershy? All except one mare wondered this, ' Why does this seem familiar? The leaving of a sister?', Rainbow's flicked over to Scootaloo, 'If only i could only tell you now kid'. She put her focus back on her oldest crying friend. Author's Note Oooh... "Are you okay sugarcube?", asked Applejack as Twilight paced around the blanket for the 50th time. "No, its just... something just isn't right." Twilight said as she paused her pacing. "Then darling, you must settle down and eat these delicious cupcakes." said Rarity patting the space beside her. Just then Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash gobble some cupcakes down and then they return to the game they were teaching Fluttershy. When Twilight finally settled down next to Rarity, she heard somepony shouting her name; more like somedragon. Spike came running, the fastest Twilight had ever seen him run. When Spike reached them he was out of breath, " Hey Spike, what's up?" Rainbow Dash says as she greets the baby dragon. "Letter...puff... from Celestia... puff... urgent...puff... here." He held out a scroll with a bright orange ribbon, a ribbon that Celestia never tied her letters with; something was very wrong. Twilight opened the letter and read what it said: Princess Twilight, I urgently request you come to canterlot right away. I have no time to explain it all in this letter, do not fret to much my student. I want you to be brave for the new journey in front of you after this visit. Only your help is needed so please come alone. Please come as soon as possible! -Princess Celestia "Um, Twilight, are you ok?" Fluttershy asked Twilight after reading over her shoulder like all the others. "I have to go to Canterlot right away!" she exclaimed. "We are coming with you, you have no idea what's happening over in Canterlot." Rainbow Dash reassured Twilight. "No, I have to go alone; that's what the letter said." said Twilight. The other 5 look at surprisingly, though, they knew their friend was right. Twilight started to fly off when Pinkie Pie yelled," See you when you get back Twilight!". Something is terribly wrong here, thought Twilight as she entered her teacher's room. She was amazed by what she saw, there was a small cradle off to the side from Celestia's bed, it was trimmed with gold and topaz, and it gleamed as it caught the sun's rays. Celestia was standing over the cradle smiling and laughing at what it contained. Twilight walked over and asked,"Celestia, what's wrong? I don't see any threats." Celestia looked over at her still smiling and said," Something quite the opposite my faithful student." Twilight raised a eyebrow, Celestia hadn't called her that in a long time. As Princess Celestia lifted the thing that was inside a cradle, Twilight gasped " A baby!" she exclaimed. "Who is the mom and dad? Where did it come from? Does it even have family?" asked Twilight as she started to ask more questions equally as fast. The joyful look on Celestia's face stopped her questions and had begun to understand. She looked closer at the baby, its mane was longer than most newborn fillies, it was almost a pale yellow like her friend Fluttershy, her mane was pale yellow, she had a horn, and wings. Just then she yawned and opened her eyes, they were the color of gold, clearly matching the trim on her cradle. "So... she's yours?" Twilight asked as she looked at Celestia, her teacher nodded. "Then... who's the father?", Twilight asked, Celestia looked confused and unsure, something Celestia usually isn't, so she dropped the matter. Suddenly, Twilight felt sick to her stomach; she took several steps back, her head held low as the pain went to her head. "Princess Twilight, are you ok?" asked Celestia as she looked worriedly at her student in pain. Twilight was in to much pain to speak as it centered itself in her head, right under where her horn was. Twilight finally looked up into the baby's eyes and thought she saw understanding, but of course she couldn't think straight with this pain. Finally, Twilight felt the pain slip away, at the same time there was a bright flash and blinding white followed. When the white cleared, there was a filly, not yet a teenager, standing right where the baby had been, and it was looking between Twilight and Celestia. It said "Why are you looking at me like that? Don't you recognize me? It's me, Nova Sparkle, your daughter." she said. Twilight and Celestia shared a look, they both knew it was true.

Applebloom said as she wondered where the new student came from, "She is a alicorn..." The crusaders were talking what had happened earlier with the new student. When she had entered the classroom the first thing everypony noticed was that she was a alicorn. The all had gasped, they gasped a second time as Princess Twilight walked in. She introduced the alicorn as Nova. After Twilight left, Nova was directed to sit in the back of the room. After that Cherilee started the lesson and students snuck glances at the mysterious alicorn sitting among them. "Uh oh, there goes Diamond Tiara again. " Scootaloo said as she indicated where the mean little filly was. They watched as Diamond Tiara began to taunt two of their classmates that they haven't really noticed much. One was a all yellow colt, his coat and mane was dull. The other one was a pegasus filly, who's coat was almost as dark pink as Cherilee's, and her mane was a powder pink color. They had their heads bent down, then suddenly the new alicorn jumped in front of them both and started to defend them. Which only made Diamond Tiara taunt her also. "I think we should go help them. " Sweetiebelle suggested. "No way, I really don't want to deal with Diamond Tiara right now. " Scootaloo said in response. "Come on Scoot, Sweetiebelle is right, let's go girls!" Applebloom said as she started to trot over to Diamond Tiara. Once they got there the three other ponies looked like they were almost to tears. "Quit it Diamond Tiara" Scootaloo said as she interrupted the taunting, " Just because they have no cutie marks yet, doesn't mean you cantease them about it. " "Yeah." Sweetiebelle said, backing up Scootaloo, " At least they aren't mean to other ponies like you." "So back off." Applebloom said as she finished the conversation. Diamond Tiara stomped off in a big huff. The crusaders back at the ponies who were being taunted. They all had grateful smiles. "Hi." said Nova, breaking the silence, " Nice to meet you five." "It was Lovey Dove's fault anyway! She brought the horrid creatures in here!" This angered the squirrels even more, the started to chew at the wood of the clubhouse. "That was rude! Say Sorry! " Lovey Dove was done being quiet. She was filled with a confidence she never had before. "STTTTOOOOPPPPP!!!!!!" She yelled. Everypony and squirrel stopped what they were doing, they were quite surprised by the outburst. She looked around the room, surprised herself. "Sorry, squirrels, please leave, and no attacking anypony!" The squirrels filed out of the window without hesitation. She then looked back at the room, the CMC had a look of understanding. Nova and Michael looked at her in awe. "What?" She asked them. The CMC got into a huddle and started to whisper, Nova continued to stare. Michael was the only one to say something. "Wow, I didn't know you could do that. " Michael's face looked hilariously surprised. Lovey Dove chuckled at the sight and started to wonder where out burst has come from also. "Lovey Dove? " Sweetiebelle piped up. "Yes?" Lovey Dove answered. "We think we know who and where your sister is. You to Michael." "Really?!" The two exclaimed. "We think the two you are looking for, are Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. " Sweetiebelle told them. "To be exact,Fluttershy is your sister Lovey Dove, Pinkie Pie is yours Michael." Applebloom told the two. Michael suddenly perked up, his colors even became vibrant. Even his hair flipped up into a slight curl. "Thank you so much! See you later!" Michael zipped out of clubhouse in a flash. Everypony looked after in surprise, except for Lovey Dove. "I haven't seen him like that in a long time, by the way where do these two live?"Lovey Dove asked. "Pinkie Pie lives at sugarcane corner, Fluttershy lives in her cottage on the outskirts of Ponyville." Scootaloo told her. "Could you show me, I don't exactly know those two places are." Lovey Dove asked. "Sure, Nova, ya' comin'?" Applebloom asked. "Ok." Nova answered, as they started to walk out. Nova started to reconigze these ponies, she couldn't put her hoof on how.
