(This is an alternative universe than the original Fallout Equestria by Kat, which also inspired me to come up with this story. So most of the credit goes to Kkat for
Chapter 1: Isaac Heart
"Today was a HORRIBLE day!" I shouted to my self not expecting anyone to respond or even notice. My name is Isaac Heart , strange name for a pony right? Well at least I am not named after food or a tool, etc. As you may be wondering. It is because it has been the 16th time I have been either jumped, insulted, pushed, and beat all because I share my FUCKING opinion about anything. Why? You may ask, well I am sorry to inform you that there is really no reason why! To this day I still cannot imagine why! But anyhow back to my main idea. Today is my 10th birthday! When I arrived at school the first thing I feel is 10 or more "birthday" punches. I am just really hated among others. My specialty. The only person who greeted me was my mother and some teachers who were forced to greet me. Throughout the ENTIRE day I was harrased with insults that you won't even believe colts and fillys ages 7-10 can come up with! But when school ended, I immediately dashed outside before anyone else could set their hooves one me. But I was futile. I got beat and some group of colts gave me death threats even though I am twice their size! I somehow managed and began heading home where my very loving mother was waiting to see me with bruises and at least a couple of cuts. When I arrived she looked at me with a very pleasant smile, as if I had saved princess Celestia from dying.
"Isaac, I have someone very important who wants to meet you!" She said with the caring and comforting voice she was gifted.
" W-who is it?" I said as I tried to hide the major pain I was feeling. I was very lucky she didn't seem to notice.
" Oh... Well you have to come inside first, and... greet her with kindness." She said cryptically.
" With my kind..." I said, as soon I entered the room, my saddlebags dropped to the floor!
" This is my son, Isaac, and Isaac this is princess Luna... you know... your favorite." Mom said.
" Oh.. so your her son, it's a pleasure to meet you." Luna spoke with twice as much love and care that my mother spoke with.
" I..I..I uh.. I-it's nice t-to me-et you u-uh princess L-luna?!" I was embarrassed, not only was I nervous and couldn't talk to mares, but the one who I had a MAJOR crush on was talking to me! (Not that i don't like Celestia, but I kinda have a crush and both Luna and Celestia).
"So I've heard I am your favorite princess?" Luna flirted.
GODDAMN IT MY MOM JUST TOLD PRINCESS LUNA I HAVE A HUGE CRUSH ON HER!! My face went full red with embarrassment. I heard Luna giggle which means she's just joking right??
"Isaac, your face is red, are you OK?" Luna said as she was waiting for my response. Luna knew I am embarrassed. But the fact that she can see it on my face, since I have a long mane I can usually hide my facial expressions from others, not to mention it is black with some streaks of blue.
"You know Isaac... you look really cute and adorable when you try to hide behind your mane." I must be dead! Luna called me "cute and adorable"? What a dream I am in. Luna had a very beautiful mane that went beyond amazing with her face. But then she began to turn to a serious note. "Isaac your mother has told my sister and I many interesting things about you, things you have yet to discovered and understand."
Luna had a very serious expression on her face, which indicated that I should as well be serious.
"Isaac you are... Very special compared to unicorns and... Alicorns." Wait, did she just say I am more special that a ALICORN?!?
"Miss Luna, do you realize I am no unicorn right?" I said in I shocked tone of voice. She must be out of her mind to have such a thought.
"Yes.. I am aware, but you don't understand Isaac, you are well capable of possessing such power." Luna replied.
"B-but miss Luna how do I have magic if I am not a unicorn, I am just a regular earth pony!" I responded with confusion. I can't imagine, me, an earth pony who is secretly a unicorn.
"Isaac, like I said there will be things you won't understand, so your mother and I have agreed on having you enroll at Littlehorn." Luna said.
"Littlehorn? You mean I am going to your school?" Littlehorn being the very school which has all the intelligent and successful magic users, did I also mention that they are all UNICORNS!
"Don't be afraid Isaac Celestia and I will be supervising you from time to time, but Isaac you must know that this could change the future of equestria's education of magic." Luna pointed out. "First you must discover what your special talent is since you haven't gotten your cutie mark yet. Then Celestia and I will have take a variety of test to see if you are what we suppose to be. Finally you will be assigned what you will grow up to be if you pass the tests." Luna said. She didn't need tell me how difficult this would be, to me this would only be comfortable since I would be away from all the bullies and be in a safer environment, but the catch is that I would be the first and most likely only earth pony to attend the school. So I wouldn't be surprised if I there would be unicorns who would want to bully me.
"OK Luna I agree to go to Littlehorn." I said after having a moment to think about it. I tried to sound confident about it, to be honest it would be a pleasure to get away from my current school.
"Very well, you will start your classes next week. That should be enough time to pack and get to know your new nighboors." Luna said with a very warm smile. "Oh.. isaac, your mother also informed me of the children that have been bothering you. Celestia and I will watch over you... As if you were our own child." As Luna was finishing her sentence, she stepped towards me and gave me a very... welcoming hug and she even stroked my mane. "Don't worry Isaac you will love Littlehorn, I promise." Next thing I knew I was crying into her arms. "Oh Isaac, you really are cute and adorable!"

Chapter 2: First day at Littlehorn?
One week later,
"Isaac, Isaac wake up honey! Remember today is your first day at Littlehorn! Honey?" I heard my mom shout from downstairs telling to wake up and....
OH CELESTIA TODAY IS MY FIRST DAY AT LITTLEHORN!! I have been waiting for this day to come!
"Isaac dear, it's time to..." I cut my mom off mid sentence.
"I'm up mom! I will be downstairs in a minute... or so!" I forgot that the school require me to wear a uniform, it was a white buttoned shirt with a tiny tie the color of blue. "Do I have to wear this?" I said silently to my self. I soon changed my mind about not wearing it, it look pretty... decent on me. When I arrived downstairs it took me a few seconds to locate my mom ever since we had moved into a new home, which was slot larger than our previous. "Hey, mom what's for..." I was soon cut off by the "awww" which came from my mom.
"OH MY, ISAAC YOU LOOK SOO ADORABLE IN THAT UNIFORM!!" She then grabbed my cheeks and squeezed me with love. "I could just hold you like this forever!" I then reminded her where I have to be in a couple of minutes.
"Mom, remember I have to go to school soon." She then let me go, but I kinda wanted her to continue to hug me.
"S-sorry sweetheart it's just that I never seen you so dressed up before!" She said with a squee.
After I had finished my breakfast I got my saddlebags, which were brand new, and loaded my school supplies in it.
"Remember Isaac, behave well and have a wonderful day!" I never seen mom so excited before.... like ever.
"Thanks mom, you have good day too." Mom looked at me with a warm smile.
"Thank you honey, I love you." She said. Well here goes nothing.
"I love you too mom." For an odd reason, I felt a bit of embarrassment.
"Littlehorn, school for gifted unicorns." Well I didn't say anything about non-unicorns... right? I then heard the voice of a adult mare.
"Why hello there! You must be Isaac Heart, correct?" A mare had approached me, and was about the height of mom, she had a pink mane with streaks of red, and a silver coat.
"Yes, I'm Isaac Heart." She gave me a warm welcoming, and from what is seems the mare is loved among the other children of the school. It's no wonder how she knew who I was, since Luna probably informed her of a earth pony attending the school.
"Nice to meet you Isaac, my name is Silver Rose." I can clearly see why that is her name, it is because of how she looks.
"U-uh nice to meet you too, u-uh miss Rose." I spoke nervously. Dammit I never was good at talking to mares.
"Oh don't be nervous, Luna has you here for a special reason right? So no need to worry." Sliver Rose spoke with comfort. Miss Rose was right, I had nothing to worry about. I am here for a reason, and even if I don't understand entirely, I must do this for Luna and Celestia. Like what Luna told me. "This could change equestrias's education." Miss Rose reminded me where I was, it seems I lost track.
"Um.. isaac, is everything alright?" This is the first time somepony ever had worried for me, other than mom and Luna.
"Yes ma'am, I mean miss Rose if that's OK with you of course!" I said. Miss Rose let out a small giggle.
"Miss Rose will be alright, you are quite the shy one are you?" She said playfully. Wait what? Shy?
"What? I'm not shy!" I am not shy, why would she... Before I could finish my thought she spoke.
"Yes you are. You are trying to hide behind your mane silly!" Sliver Rose exclaimed. Then I thought, I always hide behind my mane.... wait you mean all this time!?
OK.... So this was very, VERY awkward. I was being stared at everytime I walked through the hallways, it's beginning to get creepy. I whispered to miss Rose. "Miss Rose, the others are just staring and it is bugging me." Lucky I had Silver Rose to hide behind instead of my mane, and since she was leading me to my first class, I decided to take advantage.
"Don't mind them Isaac, just focus on where you are heading." Rose giggled a bit as she finished her sentence.
"What? What do you mean by that?" I questioned miss Rose, then I seemed to find my answer. The other kids we're laughing silently, but at what? I then looked forward and.... walked straight into Silver Rose's rump. "O-oh u-uh I-I am r-really sorry miss Rose!" I couldn't believe the embarrassment that overwhelmed me, I didn't realize I was THAT close to Silver Rose.
"It's alright Isaac. Your still shy though." As she said that, my face turned a tomato red. Then Silver Rose came to a halt. "Alrightly then!" Rose turned to me with excitement. "This is going to be your new classroom! And I'll be your teacher, Silver Rose, but you can call me Miss Rose." Rose turned not just to face me, but to face her students. So I wasn't the only new student here? No, I am, but Miss Rose is new to Littlehorn. Silver Rose must of been a teacher at different school, which explains why she seems so well with other children.
Then a colt from far behind shouted... "WHO'S THE EARTH PONY AND WHY IS HE HERE?!?"
Well nice to meet you too, I thought sarcastically. Then all the other students began asking the same question.
"This is our new student Isaac Heart, princess Luna had special orders to have him to attend our wonderful school, in case you all were wondering." As Silver Rose finished, then came along all the gasping, and "no way!" But I ignored all of it throughout all today and I was asked a few questions. So I gave them direct answers and they were satisfied, well most of them, some didn't seem to understand. I then learned some new things which were obviously about magic. To be honest, I had a great day, there was no bullies, no beat-up, and no insults. I could get used to this within a week or so...

Chapter 4: The Coming War
MOMENTS EARLIER...
"Issac! Isaac, where are you!" Celestia cried out. Behind her was Luna and mom, the three of them were beyond worried.
"MY NAME IS... ISAAC HEART... AND I WILL HAVE MY... REVENGE!"
"That's Isaac... But who is he talking to?" Luna questioned herself. "It seems he is in danger."
"Then we'll must hurry!" Mom cried out. "We have to help him!"
"Alexia is right, our time is limited." Celestia said to mom and Luna as they ran through the bloody hallways with bodies lifeless left and right.
I sat there only staring at Silver Rose's lifeless body, like if it was going to bring her back. Behind me was the recently slayed zebra soliders. I never felt so much anger ever before in my life. To the point of resolving to violence. The moment of silence that I was in, was soon cut short.
"Issac, oh my..." Mom didn't even finish her sentence after seeing what was in front of her and the princesses. Mom, Celestia, and Luna were terrified at what they were seeing.
"It... It was those damn zebra fucks... They did this to Silver Rose... THEY..." I was still seeing red and my tears kept rushing down my face, rinsing the some of the blood on it. "They were going to kill me too... But I..." Mom then interrupted me.
"Isaac... Are you... Hurt?" Mom said with fear. She was trying to hold back tears as she spoke.
"So... You killed... Them? On your own?" Celestia also spoke with a undefined fear in her voice.
"Look... Isaac, your flank!" Luna exclaimed.
"What?" I questioned Luna not only because of what she said, but how she just ignored all the death around her.
"Isaac... You have your cutie mark!" Mom said in surprise.
"Oh my... Please don't tell me you got it by killing!" Celestia begged. I couldn't blame her. A colt receiving his cutie mark after killing.
"No... It's wasn't from killing... It was from revenge..." I said with the anger I felt before, still inside of me. But I was right, it was simply revenge. Revenge...
"I see your point..." Luna spoke cryptically. "So it seems you've unlocked your hidden ability."
"So you mean?" Mom asked. "Isaac... Used his powers to kill the zebras?"
"Yes..." I responded. "After they killed Silver Rose, I felt an anger that felt like a spark of lightning striking my heart." As I spoke Celestia, Luna, and mom, stared at me not able to believing my words.
This was both good thing and a bed thing. The good thing is, I have unlocked my special magic and technically I have passed the test, just... the results were delayed. The bad thing is... I failed to save Silver Rose, not only did she died but who knows how many other ponies died today. At the hoof of zebras. But why did they attack the school? What did the school do to cause them to kill mindlessly?
"Isaac..." Celestia softly spoke. "We are sorry for what had happened... I too am... heartbroken." Celestia began to shed tears. "If only I was there to prevent this tragedy, I... I am not fit to lead this nation..." Celestia admitted.
"What! Sister... you've gone mad for saying such a thing!" Luna argued. "If won't be the nation's leader... then who will?!"
"Why I am staring directly at that pony." Celestia said.
Celestia had to be out of her mind! She was leaving Luna in charge of equestria! But Luna... she would be put under a ton of stress!
"But Celestia, Luna would become very stressed, and she is so young!" I cried out.
"Yes, I am aware of that." Celestia said as she wiped her tears away. "That is why I am having 6 other points to form a government, to aid Luna."
"But who?" I asked
"The 6 very ponies which weld the elements of harmony." Luna answered. "But sister you can't, they are far too young to be put in charge!" Luna said, trying to convince Celestia that she is well capable of leading to nation on her own. "If you can lead this glorious nation, then I too can do the same!"
"Luna... sister, please you have to understand... because of this tragedy... there will be more alike in the distant future, and I seem to not be able to prevent it."Celestia said to Luna. "I am certain this is what must be done."
"S-sister... I... I understand, and I will try my best to prepare the element bearers and I will make you proud!" Luna promised. "I swear to it!"
"You can't... You can't be serious!" I unwillingly said. "What about the zebras who just murdered all the colts and fillies here! WHAT ABOUT THEM!"
"Isaac... Please calm yourself." Mom reassured me. "Don't you worry, everything will be okay and the zebras who planned this will be brought to justice." Mom spoke with the caring heart she possessed.
"So... Silver Rose won't be forgotten and avenged?" I hoped to receive a yes for an answer.
"Yes, there will be a memorial for the ones who died today, built near the school and one near the Canterlot Castle." Celestia said.
Then an hour or two later, all the bodies where identified and when the news hit everyone was devastated. Especially the families whose loved ones had passed in the massacre. Celestia then made an Anni declaring Luna and the bearers of the elements of harmony the new leaders of equestria. Which then led to the creation the ministries, ministry of moral, arcane science, awesome (yes that is what it was called), image, peace, and wartime technology. Each is lead by the elements of harmony. Also known as the name 6, Twilight Sparkle (arcane science), Rainbow Dash (awesome), Applejack (wartime technology), Rarity (image), Fluttershy (peace), and Pinkie Pie (moral). Then, thanks to the ministry of awesome, equestria soon declared war on the zebras because of the Littlehorn massacre. I think declaring war with the zebras is not the way to bring justice.
Then the zebras felt the same. War was officially started. Thanks Rainbow Dash! Not only was war declared, but ponies began causing problems for the zebras living in equestria. Which led to even worse events. The killing of innocent ponies and zebras began. Then word spread that the zebras began experimenting unicorn magic with nuclear energy, which then reached pony hoofs. The Ministry of Arcane Science, or the M.A.P, created a drink which contained nuclear radiation for flavor, named Sparkle-cola. Then the Ministry of Wartime Technology, or M.W.T , created a new breed of soldiers, the Steel Rangers. They were highly trained soldiers which wore very protective armor, powered by special batteries made out of unicorn magic, were sent to the front lines of the battlefield of the great war. The suits they wore were called.power armor, it is like a robot but not a robot, it has a unique heads-up-display, or HUD for short. This made the zebra soldiers come up with anti-machine weapons, which in the name, was made to penetrate the steel plating on the power armor to reach the target in cased in the tank like armor. Then with the help of the M.A.P, energy weapons were created and equipped with the Steel Rangers. This made a very bloody and painful war.
Then the other ministries decided to support, without actually fighting in the war, by providing medicine, ammunition, and other kinds of gear to equip the soldiers with. It has only been a couple of months and thing are beginning to fall apart not only for us ponies, but for the zebras as well. There were some traitors among both sides, not only the but also the Griffin, and even dragon species were getting involved into the war.
At this rate the whole world with be torn apart. Panic is quickly begin spread worldwide and some say that this is only the beginning of the end of our world. Since I am still very young I would much prefer the exact opposite. To this day most still don't know what cause the incident at Littlehorn. There were some who said that the soldiers were shot at by the school's security system, or the soldiers were given direct orders to attack the school. But it doesn't matter anymore, thing have already gotten worse over the past few months. There has a few rumors about nuclear war, which means one side has the intention of launching nuclear bombs to the opposing side. Who knows? What if both sides have already began testing out such devastation. Princess Luna and the ministry mares have issued the construction of another organization they would call Stable-tec. Their job is to build special fallout shelters named "stables". Stables will be designed to provide a safe shelter for citizens in case there really was nuclear detonations around the nation. Apparently, this in the works ever since the what happened at Littlehorn. Stable-tec have already built over 150 stables in matter of months.
That may seem like a good thing but that means there WILL be nuclear detonations, and there will be death. I really do not want to believe this but I am just going to have to accept that my life is being turn the way I don't it to. How could such a peaceful nation, (disregarding my experience at my old school), have become involved in war? Could it be because of me? When I killed those soldiers, that I could of triggered the start of the war? The attacking soldiers could of avoided death if they didn't attack the school! After that Celestia steps down and gives FULL leadership to Luna, then I am being constantly observe by guards ever since I unlocked my "special" abilities, and then equestria is on the brink of ahnilation! Could things possibly get worse?!
"Isaac come quickly!" Mom yelled out for me. "This is beyond important, please come quick!"
"Did something happen or...?" I said as I quickly ran to mom and when I saw what she was talking about I found the answer to my question. I stared at the television and listened to what was being announced.
"I am here today to... confirm several report of... oh god... balefire bombs have been launched and currently making their way at multiple locations, being canterlot, cloudsdale, manehatten, and more unknown locations. Please, all citizens make your way to your nearest stable, their will be employees on standby to authorize for entry. This will be our final news report, to all, be safe and Godspeed." The news anchor stallion said with a terrified tone in his voice. "You all have about 4 hours until estimated detonation."
"Isaac, hurry and pack as much things as you can! We have to make it to Stable-115!" Mom panicked as she ran to pack her things.
"OK, uh... remember to pack slot of food just in case the stable doesn't have enough!" I shouted. My heart began beating faster and faster. I was in full panic mode! I packed some of my clothes and a blanket for cover since my mom and I wouldn't be the only ones rushing to the safety of the stables. I could already hear the panic of others outside. The only thing I want to hear is the calming music of the young musician Octavia Melody, another mare which I admired but mainly for her talent not looks in case you were wondering.
"Isaac are you ready?" Mom asked. "Listen carefully, once we are outside it will be a bit crowded so I need you to hold my hand and no matter what... do NOT let go! Mom demanded.
"Mom I am really scared right now! Of course I will never let go of you!" I reassured my mom.
"Good, now just follow me and everything will be okay." Mom said. "Isaac, before we go, I love you no matter what happens from this point on." Mom tried to hold back tears as she spoke.
"I love you too, now let's go the stable quickly." I responded.
When mom opened the door, we saw to be what seemed like the whole world in utter chaos. Ponies running and screaming to who knows where. In a matter of seconds there was already ponies fighting for the room left in the nearby stables. I had thought this was the end, but mom seemed to have known the location of another stable which is not know to public.
"Don't worry Isaac Celestia and Luna have set up a special stable for us." Mom said with relief. "Stable 115, the very stable to shelter the ministry mares and both princess, that will be our new home as now."
"Wait, so the ministry mares and Celestia and Luna will all be in the stable with us? I questioned.
"Yes, the stable was made especially for them including us as well." Mom said with another sign of relief.
As we run towards our destination, we were being followed by a large group of random. I guess the other stables ran out of room. I wondered how Celestia, Luna, and the ministry mares are able to arrive at the stable in about 4 hours until the balefire bombs hit. Maybe there are emergency teleporters that are supposed to get them to the stable in seconds. But my thoughts were soon changed as mom came the halt.
"What is going on and we did we stop?" I asked. "Is there something blocking the path or what?"
"Why look at what we have here!" A strange voice of a mare spoke. "A group of little ponies trying to find safety, how cute." The voice began getting to sound closer and closer. "Having trouble find shelter? Why let my army of changlings and I take care of that for you." The mysterious mare had a evil tone in her voice.
Then dark figures, called changlings according to the unknown mare, began attacking and killing the ponies around. The only thing that could be heard was the screams of the dying ponies, both children and adults.

"Why isn't that just horrible!" The mysterious mare commented. "Most of you are already dead, and those who still stand will soon join the dead, I might as well introduce myself." The mare said sluggishly.
"I am chrysalis, the queen of the changelings!"
The remaining ponies stared as the mare stepped into field of view. There stood a mare the height of Celestia, but had a dark colored coat which looked bug-like, with a poisonous green mane, not to mention the mare was an alicorn of some sort. Her wings were like the ones of insects and the mare had strange holes in her body which made her kinda look like rotten Swiss cheese.
"Isaac get behind me, but carefully." Mom whispered to me.
I cautiously hid behind mom. I really hoped for my lightning abilities to appear so I could deal with this chrysalis character. But unfortunately I didn't feel the spark I felt when it first appeared. So I prayed to Celestia that mom and I will be spared. Instead, Chrysalis walked straight up to mom with a sinister smirk on her face.
"Why you must be his mother aren't you?" Chrysalis questioned mom. "It be awake if he were to lose his mother on the day of the balefire, wouldn't it?"
"You stay away from my son you monst..." Mom was cut off by a pain which came from shoulder.
"MOM!" I immediately jump to mom's aid and saw that Chrysalis had stabbed her in the shoulder. " YOU BITCH, KEEP YOUR FUCKING HOOVES AWAY FROM HER!" I shouted out of anger and fear, hoping for mom to recover.
"Ah... Language, now didn't your mother teach you not to use such words?" Chrysalis sarcastically said. "I do admit... you have a beautiful mane and pretty blue eyes, also a nice grey coat... just like your mother." Chrysalis seemed to flirt. "You are cute for colt, has anyone ever told you that?"
"Actually, yes, but your not my type!" I responded back with a threatening tone in my voice. "Now you left my mom and I alone and you certainly won't regret it!"
"Oh I see... guards show him what we are made of." Chrysalis ordered three of her guards. "No mercy."
"NO!" mom shouted to the approaching guards. "You deal with me not my son!" Mom began tearing up.
"Well you heard her, kill her not the son!" Chrysalis spoke. "But I need something from the child so take his left foreleg!" Chrysalis ordered her guards.
The guards soon got hold of mom and held her by her forelegs with a dagger next to her throat. Then they held me with my left foreleg ready to rip it off of my body.
"Now off with her and colt's foreleg!" Chrysalis demanded.
"Isaac... I love you..." Mom spoke as the guards sliced the dagger through her throat.
"Not again, I won't accept it!" I spoke to myself. "Why did it have to happen again?" As I spoke I felt the very spark which ignited my rage and special power. My nerves were burning, in addition with my left foreleg being torn off my body.
"What the hell?" One of the guards said.
"You will all... burn in hell for this..." I said softly, preparing a very... deadly strike of lightning.
"What did you say-"
The voice of one of the guards faded, and the other two stared in shock. They saw a large in their companion, and blood being coughed out of his mouth. Changeing fell to the ground , lying dead, struck by lightning. The lighting which had came from my upper right hoof, pricing though the body of the now dead changeling.
"You little brat, you are going to join your mother-" Another changeling guard said.
"No... you will join your dead companion." I said. I then preformed what I called, "lightning blade", on the guard. I expected a hole in his body, but instead he was vaporized by my lightning blade. Then the last remaining guard stood by Chrysalis, waiting for a command.
"Well done, you have taken out two of my best men!" Chrysalis sarcastically celebrated. "But I believe the fun now ends... oh and thanks for your foreleg, I will examine it well now that I seen what you can do." Chrysalis said as she waved my amputated foreleg at me. "Good luck trying to survive the balefire, you'll need it." Chrysalis began laughing as she finished speaking. Then she teleported away along with her bodyguard and my foreleg.
"M-mom, I-I am sorry... I am sorry." As I paid my respect, the memory of Silver Rose's final moments flashed through my mind. Then I began to feel pain. My nerves were burning out, due to the lighting and the amputation. I saw my vision darken. I stared at the lifeless body of my mom, I assumed it would be the last thing I would ever see. Then finally... I saw pure darkness... I was... In hell.
Fallout Equestria: The Stormcaller
"Am I dead?" I could speak but I couldn't feel anything, everything was pitch black.
"Isaac Heart... the one who controls the storms." A mysterious voice which sound like a mare.
"W-who are you and where am I?" I said
"My identity does not matter... for you are in the realm in between the realm of the living and the realm of the dead... the void.
"T-the void, I am dead?" I asked the anonymous mare.
"Yes... but your conscious still lives." The mysterious mare said.
"If I am dead... then that's it?" I said disappointed.
"Isaac Heart do you realize why you are here?" The mare asked.
"N-no, not really..." I admitted.
"Isaac... you are here in the void because of the great power you possess... you have the mark of the stormcaller." The mare said.
"The... stormcaller?" I said not having a single clue of what the mare is talking about, actually I really don't remember much.
"Yes, you are the descent of the once great stormcaller, who once saved the entire world from being corrupted by evil." The mare said. "Unfortunately, that very evil led equestria to an all-out war."
"So I was supposed to do the same? But I am now dead there's nothing I can do now." I said, and I proved a good point.
"Yes... and there is still things to be done... you still have a destiny to fulfill, you see... the reason you were born with the mark is because of the rising evil. The genes were awakened when you first witness the evil, and your mother... she too was given the mark, but she couldn't handle the power, so she decided to pass the mark down to you as her son." The mare explained.
"So my mom was the first to be given the mark after the original stormcaller, but she was afraid that she couldn't control it so she gave the mark to me when she gave birth to me?" I asked
"Yes, and with that said... it is now your faith... you must repeal the evil. You will most certainly face... ever darker forces."
"Wait... you mean things will get even worse?"
"Not necessarily, but you will face greater challenges... why it is the path you take. You will not be alone on your path, you find new friends along the way and they will become your greatest allies... you might even fall in love with a special mare or two."
"Fall in love? You mean like Celestia and Luna, or a mare who I haven't yet met?" I asked really hoping an answer, since I knew Celestia and Luna obviously only like because I'm just a kid. But if the void-mare says that I will find love on my journey, then with who?
"That is a question you must solve yourself."
"How? I am dead!" I still couldn't feel anything, it was like my whole body is numb.
"There are still much things to be done Isaac... that is why you will return to the realm of the living, to fight the good fight and rid the evil to bring peace once again."
"So I will be resurrected? Like a zombie?"
"Yes you will be restored, but not like a zombie. You always did have a silly mind Isaac. It makes you cute."
"You too?" I asked, I could almost feel myself blushing but since I am currently dead, I couldn't. This... void-mare really seems familiar, like I have spoken to her before. But when and where?
"Maybe you will find out... in time. Isaac... never let the evil get the best of you. Always believe in the people who believe in you." The void-mare said as her voice began to slowly fade away. Like she was walking father away from me.
"Will we ever meet again? Like if I need help or-." I was soon quickly interrupted by the void-mare.
"Like I said before Isaac... that is for you to find out. But we will meet again... maybe I'll be sitting right next to you." The void-mare said as her voice completely faded.
I still have some questions but I begin to regain consciousness, the surrounding darkness began to clear, I started to see a light... a very bright light. I then knew that I had just left the void and returned to equestria, but not in the same place. Last I remembered, I was in the middle of a small invasion right after... mom died. Not the thought I want to think about. Trying to disregard that, I noticed that I was in one of those hospital beds. It looks like someone took me into shelter, I assume it to be stable 115, where I was supposed to be heading. I then also saw what looked like to be someone in the room with me. They seemed to be trying to sneak out the room. I bet they even turned off the lights. So due to my curiosity I asked:
"W-who's there?"
Then the stranger seemed to fail at their sneak out and to look at me. Then the voice of mare which had an accent of English-mare spoke:
"O-oh umm... I-I didn't realize you were awake." The mare said nervously.

Chapter 6: Meeting Octavia
"O-oh umm... I didn't realize you were awake. I guess I should introduce myself... (clears throat). I am Octavia Melody, and I am a well known musician in ponyville. And you are?"
"W-well nice to meet you Octavia, I am Isaac Heart, and I am huge fan of yours! I mean... yeah." I couldn't keep my excitement inside and not ignore the fact that famous musician Octavia Melody is standing right here in front of me! So I had to admit I am fan... right?
"Oh... so your a fan of mine... well nice to meet you too Isaac, it's not everyday you meet a fan of yours during the start of the apocalypse. And if you were wondering what I was doing in here... it was because... you know... just doing... a daily checkup... hehe. Not to also mention I was the pony who found you outside the stable... badly wounded, and I just couldn't stand to see a child like you in harms way, so I rescued you." Octavia said with pride.
"Child? I am practically an small adult! I am not a child!" (Well technically I am)
"You sure do look like a child, despite your wounds and cybernetic enhancement." Octavia said.
"What cybernetic enhancement? I am pure pony." Then I checked my body for anything strange and found that my amputated fore leg was no longer missing, but only replaced by a cybernetic fore leg. I almost freaked out when I saw it.
"What's wrong Isaac? Do you not like it? My sister Vinyl made it, it even has a built-in pip-buck. By the way you should thank her when you meet her." Octavia explained as if it was no big deal.
"Wait... Vinyl Scratch is your sister? And she made this for me? And she is in the stable?" I asked not thinking about if Octavia felt overwhelmed with questions.
"Why yes, Vinyl Scratch is my sister... but only you now know this so can you keep it a secret? And yes she also made your new fore leg, it only took about a week, and Vinyl and I were granted special access to the stable, since well... we're famous and all."
"A week! I was unconscious for about a week!"
"Yes... and I have been... making sure that you are... In one piece." Octavia began to blush as she spoke.
"So... you rescued me and took care of me? I-I don't know what to say..." I was then interrupted by Octavia.
"Why you don't need too. I understand... Isaac if you don't mind me asking, who was it that you were lying not too?" Octavia had just asked very deep question.
"It was my... mother..., she was killed by Chrysalis, the queen of changelings. She was also the one to cause my amputation." I said, not being able to hold back the tears of pure sorrow.
"O-oh... I am truly sorry... I was just curious to know who it was." Octavia apologized and then walked towards me and gave me a warm hug.
"Thank you..." I softly said.
"No need to thank me, you have already been through alot. How about I introduce you the ponies of stable-115?"
"That be much appreciated Octavia. Also... did Celestia and Luna make it in the stable?" That was a question I so desperately need to ask, since they were now the closest I have to family. But I think that Octavia would soon become a good friend to me.
"Yes, both princesses have made it into the stable safely."
"Can you take me to them please? They almost certainly need to see me."
"Sure thing Isaac, then I will introduce you to Vinyl next and so on." Octavia explained.
"Thanks... but now that I think about it, am I healthy enough to walk?" It probably a stupid question but I was just curious.
"If you don't feel any pain and walk properly, then you should be set."
"Alright then, to Celestia's and Luna's quarters! Lead the way." I quickly felt a bit of embarrassment for saying that aloud.
"Alright, right this way. Also try to stay on track, you will have time to explore the stable later, if that what's your thinking." Octavia jokingly said.
HALF-HOUR LATER
"OK here it is." Octavia said as she came to a halt.
"About how big is this stable? I feel like I have been walking for days non-stop." I whined
"Well I too have yet explored most of the stable, I am still learning." Octavia countered.
"Sorry I just got tied of walking. Also could you wait here while I go talk to Celestia and Luna?" I tried to say it nicely as possible.
"Oh so you think I am not worthy of speak to our former leaders? I'll have got know that I have spoken to them many times at my performances, which they thought was beautiful. They even handed me most of my awards! So with that said, I am coming with you, whether you like it or not." Octavia persuaded.
"Alright fine, but you need to promise not say anything when things get... weird, OK?" I said that because I just know that either Celestia or Luna will treat me like a baby, that means that they will most likely embarrass me in front of another mare. Especially if that mare is Octavia, since they know about me being one of her biggest fans, but not in a obsessed way.
"What do you mean by... weird?"
"Just promise OK, it is really difficult to explain."
"Alright... I Octavia Melody hereby promise not to say a single word when things get... weird." Octavia said aloud.
"Don't say it so loud!"
"Why? Will something happen that will embarrass you?" Octavia said.
Then the door to Celestia and Luna opened and standing there were the princesses themselves.
"Isaac? Your awake!" Celestia and Luna then squeeze me with relief. "Mother of me, your OK, Luna and I were beyond worried. When we heard about your condition, we both thought that you wouldn't recover. But now that your here in one piece, we are relieved. Also... we heard about your mother... we are very sorry. The changelings and their queen will be brought down to hell for what they have done. Your mother will be avenged, believe it." Celestia promised. Then her hug began to tighten along with Luna.
"My sister is correct, the changeling army with be brought to justice no matter what! Even if it takes years, they will face the consequences. Especially if they messed with the almighty descent of the great stormcaller!" Luna said, agreeing with Celestia.
"Isaac you have my support as well, and I am sure others will come to your aid." Octavia said.
"So I see you have met Octavia, and if I recall she is your favorite musician and you also admire her bright purple eyes." Celestia teased.
"Celestia! Please not now!" I begged.
Octavia then blushed and said: "I didn't know you admire my eyes... why... thank you, why you have beautiful eyes as well. Not to mention the color blue is my favorite color, right next to purple."
"Umm... thank... you?" I too began to blush, dammit Celestia.
"It seems you two have already began to bond. How cute." Luna said adoringly.
"I can see you two become more than friends in the future." Celestia commented
Then Octavia and I both spoke at the same time.
"Us two TOGETHER? Not in 200 years!"
"She's clearly not my type! She way too... elegant... and..." I, for some reason couldn't speak.
"It seems Isaac is too busy admiring Octavia." Luna teased.
"Isaac, are you OK? Why are you staring at me like if I was a goddess of some sort? Isaac?" Octavia tried to get me to focus, but I actually was too busy admiring her.
Octavia had the most beautiful eyes that went beyond amazing with her mane and grey coat. Also the way she speaks, it is like a lullaby sung by a goddess. I was speechless... I was in... love. Right when I thought I lost all hope I wake up with mare of my dreams. And I thought Celestia and Luna were hot.
"Isaac!" Octavia shouted, shaping me out of the love trance I was in.
"Huh... what...?!?" I couldn't have said better can I? Celestia, Luna, and Octavia were staring at me like if I said something beyond strange.
"Yep... definitely a couple." Celestia said.
"Octavia, it seems our dear friend Isaac has developed special feeling for you. Feeling greater than the one he has for Celestia and I." Luna said.
"Umm... Isaac, be honest... did you really?" Octavia asked with great curiosity, and with a blush.
"D-did I what?" I said trying to play it off, but there was too much sweat trickling down my face.
"Oh you know EXACTLY what." Celestia said with a giggle.
"ALRIGHT FINE, I DO THINK OCTAVIA IS REALLY ATTRACTIVE AND HOT!" I unintentional shouted.
Then Octavia's face turned bright red, just like mine, and Celestia and Luna were quietly laughing. I couldn't believe what I have just admitted. That three mares that know I have a major crush on them. Could I get further embarrassed?
"Oh... I didn't know you thought of me that way. I-I didn't know I was THAT attractive. I have to admit... Isaac you look REALLY ADORABLE!" Octavia shouted and then squeezing me with her hugs.
"Wait you aren't angry at me?!?"
"Of course not! How could any mare be angry at such a cute and adorable looking colt like you!?!" Octavia exclaimed.
"Well dear sister, it seems that we have made our little stormcaller admit his love for another mare. Thanks a job well done!" Celestia rejoiced.

"Um... can we begin to discuss more important issues? You know... instead of embarrassing me." I said, attempting to get the others back on track.
"Yes, I suppose we have teased you enough for today, don't you all agree?" Luna asked.
Everyone nodded in agreement, especially me. I then asked Celestia what would happen next, now that thing for equestria have gone to complete shit. She seemed uncertain, so did Luna. But they said that they were both assigned as overmares, which I assume to be the one in charge of the stable, or in this case the two. Also they said that everyone who as their cutie marks, would be assigned to jobs that best suit them. Which means your cutie mark decides your job in the stable. That also means Octavia would be assigned as musician like how she was before, and I probably would be assigned as an electrician, since my cutie mark are bolts of lightning. I'm not sure that I would be comfortable with that job but I try my best to cope with it. Maybe if I'm lucky I will assigned as stable security, which is a job I can most definitely handle. But Celestia told me that due to my current condition, I won't start working until a month or so. She also said that her and Luna would be my caretakers, or in Celestia's words:
"So I will be like your mother! Not trying to remind you of anything that has happened before this."
"It's alright Celestia, if my mother would have a say in this I'd bet she approve. She also wouldn't want to me to mourn her for too long. Mom would want me to be strong is what I am trying to say." I knew that's what mom would be thinking if she knew that she was going to die. It's basically my promise to her.
"Indeed, so sister and I will do our very best to keep you strong!" Luna said with enthusiasm.
"Plus, I've also wanted to have a son of my own!" Celestia commented, and Luna agreed.
"Thank you, right now... I bet my mom is smiling down on us." I said.
"Isaac, it's what we always do for you," Luna then turned to Octavia,"now Octavia if you may, guide our dear Isaac around the stable."
"Yes ma'am!" Octavia responded, then looked towards me and said, "alright then, Isaac just follow me and I'll introduce you to Vinyl."
Celestia and Luna then said their goodbyes and returned to their room. Then Octavia started her way to Vinyl's and I followed. As I did, it was tempting to stop and explore the parts of the stable that we walked passed. But I managed, and in matter of moments Octavia soon stopped at the door which read, DJ Vinyl "Pin-3 Scratch. Then Octavia began knocking on the door.
"Who is it?" A mares voice spoke, which I assumed to be the voice of Vinyl's.
"It's me Octavia, and the colt you helped recover." Octavia answered.
"The robo-colt? Well come in then!" Vinyl said excitedly.
"Vinyl, this is Isaac Heart-" Octavia could nearly finish her sentence, due to Vinyl's rude interruption.
"Hey there kid, names Vinyl! How's your foreleg? Isn't it just the COOLEST thing ever! I made it myself, pretty impressive for a musician like me, am I right?!!" I couldn't help notice but, Vinyl seem like if the balefire bombs never dropped, and she's only living in a fallout shelter because it seems cool.
"Well... it's cool and all but, I really just wanted to thank you for you know... not letting die and all."
"No problem kid, it was nothing really! Sure it took me about a week or so, but here it is! In the flesh, literally." Vinyl seemed really proud about the foreleg, so I didn't want to say anything about it that would disappoint her.
"Um... Vinyl why don't you explain to Isaac the devices features?" Octavia suggested.
"Oh yeah, well kid, what you have there is what I like to call the following: success, skill, and the pip-leg. Now what the [pip-leg] can do, is pretty handy. It has a built-in pip-buck, which is a device that is attached to the foreleg and has a radio, navigation system, E.F.S, or eyes-forward-sparkle, which is hud similar to the power-armor, S.A.T.S, another system which is used for precise targeting, and finally a storage system which keeps of your current inventory and along with health, and any other things you want to keep track of. But that's just the pip-buck part of it, your pip-leg also enhances your overall abilities, like strength, perception, endurance, intelligence, agility, charisma and luck is up to you." Vinyl then took a deep breath.
"Wait, when you said that it enhances my abilities, does magic count?" I asked anticipating an answer.
"Well if you were a unicorn like me, then yes, why ask?" Vinyl seemed confused, but I couldn't blame her.
"Does it have to do anything with that strange tattoo printed on you?" Octavia asked.
"What tattoo? I never had a tattoo." I then looked once again at my body for anything strange, and then found a jet black mark imprinted on me, which ran from my right forehoof to my right shoulder. It kinda resembles lightning bolts, like the ones on my cutie mark. I do admit, it looks pretty badass.
"You see? Tattoo right there." Vinyl pointed out to me.
"The mark of the storm-" I whispered to myself. I guess this is what the void-mare was talking about, "the mark of the stormcaller."
"The stormcaller? What's a stormcaller?" Octavia questioned.
"Me... It's me. I am the descent of the stormcaller. I should've told you when we were talking with Celestia and Luna." I explained.
"Sounds legit, what can it do?" Vinyl asked.
"Well it's kinda in the name. The ability to summon lightning from just a hoof. Have you and Octavia heard about what happened at Littlehorn?"
"Why yes, that was such a dreadful day for equestria, why?" Octavia responded.
"Did you hear about a colt taking out the invading zebra soldiers?" I asked.
"Yeah I remember, they said that a young colt took out the zebras single hoofedly. Was that you?!" Vinyl asked.
"Yes! It was me!" For some odd reason I sound excited.
"Oh... goddesses, you poor thing! I can tell you had extremely rough!" Octavia said.
"Well they weren't that tough, I used lightning to cut slice right through them. But... there was a teacher who I was good friends with that died that day. That's what cause the lightning to spark inside me." I said softly.
"So you can make lightning appear from your hooves?" Vinyl asked. "Can you do it right now?"
"I not really sure... but I'll try."
"Oh no... Isaac you don't have to, you already been through so much. Please, don't listen to Vinyl." Octavia told me.
"No it's alright, plus I plan on trying to gain full control. So if anything like that happens again... I'll be ready."
With that said, I began to focus my mind. If what Vinyl said is true about my new foreleg enhancing my abut, then making atleast a spark of lightning appear should be easier. As both of the mares watched expecting something to happen, I felt a little nervous. Since they were just staring at me in silence. So I tried to think about something that would make feel like I was alone, I then closed my eyes. Then I remembered how I got the lightning to spark, unfortunately, i did it when there was a tragedy. I didn't want to embarrass my self more than I already have, so I thought of tragedies that would ignite the spark. Then the thought of Silver Rose and mom's death came to mind. I tried to keep the sorrow inside and the anger out, since that is what I assume how I got my powers in the first place. Then I felt it... the anger within being the fuel to the lighting, and when I opened my eyes... I felt my nerves burning, my veins sparking, my heartbeat fasten. Then, my hooves became engulfed with lightning. I managed to keep it going for about couple minutes, but soon grew tried.
"Woah... That was AMAZING! Isaac, you are now officially dubbed as the COOLEST pony I have ever met!" Vinyl complemented.
"Wow... that was beautiful Isaac, why I have never seen lightning so close before. The pure blue light... why I just noticed... it matches your eyes." Octavia spoke in awe.
"*gasp*... thanks... I never... done something so... tiring." I said exhausted
"Yeah, I just noticed that too. Maybe it is just a coincidence?" Vinyl said.
I then finally caught my breath and spoke, "Really? No one has ever said that before... except my mom. She would always tell me I had the prettiest blue eyes, which were also the color of lightning during a storm." I then felt the sorrow slip, then I began crying.
"Oh come here Isaac." Octavia said wrapping herself around, like a warm blanket. "It's OK Isaac, for as long you have her in your memories, her spirit lives inside of you. This also goes for anyone that you loved and cared for, which has already passed."
"Yeah... what she said. Plus we can relate, Octavia and I lost our parents when we were about 5 years old. So we learned to look out for each other. And here we are, still alive. If we didn't learn to live will certain things we didn't like, then we'd be nothing more than just dead flowers." Vinyl spoke, and then joined the hugging.
"Thanks, you two... especially for saving me and all." I said thankfully. "By the way, how come you never told anyone that your both related?"
"Well since we look like opposites, we've decided to take advantage and it actually done us good. But it's really difficult to explain." Octavia said, not really answering my question.
"That makes... sense?" I said trying to sound like I understood it.
"Not many would understand, they would just be confused. But putting that aside, since I have you in my arms. You think I am attractive?" Octavia teased.
"Oh... so you have a special something, something, for my sister? You know she's not that older than you. It also just so happens that she has been looking for a special-stallion." Vinyl said, also teasing me.
"B-but I'm no stallion! And I mainly just admire her music!" I said nervously.
"Isaac... I also find you cute for little colt, and you DO have the prettiest blue eyes."
"Little colt? I am 10 years old! I'm like a preteen, and didn't we talk about this already?"
"Only 10? You look like your 8 or 9!" Vinyl said.
"Well I'm going to turn 11 pretty soon, in about 4 months." I informed Vinyl.
"But you do seem to act older than your actual age, just not in this situation. Your like a teddy bear... meant for hugging." Octavia joked. "Your so warm too, it feel nice."
"What?! I should be saying that... I-I mean since I am in the center." I said
"You two really would seem like a good couple." Vinyl commented.
"Really! I mean... in your opinion." I said.
"Isaac you seem nervous, what's wrong? Are my hugs not comfortable enough? Should I sing you a lullaby, and have you cradled like a cute little baby?" Octavia cooed.
"Yes..." I said in a low, embarrassed voice.
"I thought you would. Now relax and only listen to the sound of my voice." Octavia said, preparing a lullaby.
I really did need this. After all I have experienced in the last few days, this is what I so desperately wanted. Then Octavia began. Her voice sound so gentle and loving, like mom's. I could already feel drowsy, Octavia the most beautiful voice I ever heard. Then she faced me, with her bright purple eyes staring directly into mine. In a matter of seconds I feel asleep, as if I nothing ever happened, like it was a just a dream.

THE NEXT DAY
After having a good nights sleep, I began to wake up. As I did, I noticed that I wasn't being cradled by Octavia, instead, I was between Celestia and Luna, sleeping. It seems Octavia, after awhile, she dropped me off with Celestia and Luna. I much as I wanted to, I couldn't really move much since they were still asleep, I didn't want to wake either of them. So I slowly moved myself in a more comfortable position, but with every move either Celestia or Luna got closer to me, hugging me like I was a life sized plushie. I have to admit, it felt nice, like before. It this time, there were two mares, twice my size, and both were snuggling with me in their sleep. While I am squeezed with love, I then felt their heartbeats, which were actually putting me back to sleep. I felt so loved, like never before. I mean my mom is only one mare. Not trying to bring back bad memories, I remembered the times when mom would have me sleep with her whenever I had a bad dream or just couldn't sleep. I missed those days, ever since Littlehorn, things began to escalate very quickly. Then just when you least expect it, everything vanished. Your left with nothing but yourself and your emotions, that is what exactly happened to me, but when I thought it was the end for me, things started to become more clear, understandable, and then I finally found a purpose. That is to ensure a better tomorrow, to make history, to be the one who lights the way, to aid the weak and arm the strong. I will be equestria's saviour, and I will not be alone, I will have many allies, friends, even family. I will be know as a hero, know as the Stormcaller.
"Isaac?" Celestia said, as she was waking up. "*yawn* Why good morning."
"Uh... oh... good morning Celestia." I was so caught up in my thoughts, and didn't realize Celestia was awake. So I responded politely, and pretended to just wake up.
"How was your sleep? Did you dream of anything... or anyone?"
"No, not really sure, why?"
"You know... because of last night... when Octavia sang you a lullaby," Celestia teased.
"She told you...?" I said unsurprised, but I felt my self blushing of embarrassment.
"Yep... and she also said that you slept like a baby, which was really cute, and you talked in your sleep."
"I did, and what did I say?" I really hoped is wasn't something about mares, since I have a small habit of admitting my love for certain mares.
"She said you were talking about how cute she looked, and you'd wish was your marefriend." Celestia said still teasing me.
"Oh really, did I also say I wanted her as my wife?" I retorted.
"Actually, you did, and she thought it was adorable."
"Hmm... sister?" Said Luna, "Why good morning."
Then Celestia and I both responded, "Good morning Luna."
"So what might you two have a conversation on?" Luna asked.
"About Isaac's crush, Octavia, and how he really likes her and wish they were together." Celestia answered.
"Look, it was just a dream or something like that, I do admit my feelings for her, but I am not that in lo e with her. It's just a simple crush."
"Oh really? Is that why you asked her to cradle you to sleep?" Celestia said.
"Why I remember that, Octavia carried our dear Isaac here, and she then spoke about you little mumbling while sleeping. How cute how you!" Luna said, and then grabbing my blushing cheeks.
"Alright fine! I did have a dream about Octavia, and how I have a crush on her!" I admitted shamelessly.
"Oh, don't sound so sorry! There's nothing wrong with trying to hide your major love for another. Why it makes you seem really cute, especially when your blushing." Celestia reassured me.
"Maybe later in time you and Octavia might even start your own family." Luna said.
"But she's older than me, and she might think I'm really weird for having thoughts like those." I said.
"Actually, Octavia is around your age. She recently turned 12, and single. Plus she also called your cute multiple times, so why worry?" Celestia said.
"Really? I thought she was older, like 15 or something." I said.
"Your one of her biggest fans, and you didn't know that?" Celestia said, surprised.
"Yeah, I didn't know that until now. So you think I have a good chance with her?" I asked.
"Definitely, she fall for you the more you get to know her. You two just need to become good friends, which is something that will be easy since you two have already gotten to know each other." Celestia answered.
For once, I felt confident about talking to the mare I have a crush on. Thanks to Celestia and Luna, I never felt more confident and comfortable. Especially since the Celestia and Luna were still hugging me like a plushie. Then, there was an awkward silence that lasted about couple minutes, but then broken when Celestia asked:
"So Isaac, how's your foreleg? Does it feel weird, or anything like unusual?"
"Well my cyber-foreleg actually feels normal like nothing ever happened, but my other still stings from my burnout. I know that it's actually fine, but my nerves are still adjusting, since they were replaced by cybernetic nerves. Or what Vinyl likes to call it, C.N.S, or cybernetic-nerve-system for short. It basically acts like normal nerves, but it has a life support system as well. It's all connected to the upper-spine, right where the back of my neck starts. It's also attached to my cyber-leg, which keeps track of my current health, like a pip-buck."
"Why isn't that ahead of our time." Celestia commented
"Indeed, and it all seems very handy too. If only we had that technology before the war, we'd all be prepared for the future." Luna said grimly.
"My cyber-enhancements also support the use of my lightning abilities, it enhances the spark and makes me stronger too." I said quickly trying to change the mood.
"Stronger? So it enhances your overall health?" Luna asked.
"Yeah, so I'm basically stronger than I was before and I am also able to understand my current environment, which means it makes me smarter too." I bragged.
"It seems you gotten quite the upgrade over the pass week, and it's good to see that you have already began growing used to your new surroundings." Celestia said.
"I guess you can say that. By the way, have anyone received their pip-bucks yet?"
"No, not yet, but most likely soon." Celestia responded.
Then we all got out of bed, Celestia and Luna began examine my body for any noticeable differences other than my foreleg. They found a spine-like metal object which looked like it connects to my spine and the spinal cord. I think that would be the C.N.S. and then they also noticed the strange tattoo located on my right foreleg, that being the "mark of the storm". Then I felt something weird, like my vision enhancing. I felt like my eyes were glowing, and the tattoo also glowing.
"Isaac... is this normal? Your eyes... they're glowing a bright blue, and your... tattoo?" Celestia said confused and concerned.
"I feel normal, matter fact I feel amazing! For some odd reason, I feel like I'm refreshed."
The way I was feeling was strange, but so... invigorating! I have never felt so lively before in my life! Then Celestia put her hoof over my shoulder, and looked into my glowing bright blue eyes, while Luna continued to examine my mark of the storm. Celestia then blushed, and stepped back. I didn't blush, but I then felt the feeling of being home, that very feeling I felt the other day when Octavia cradled me to sleep. Celestia then began to speak.
"Isaac... why I... I-I don't know what to say, I never thought of you that way." Celestia admired.
"What do you mean, and are you OK? Your face is turning red." I informed her.
"You... your like the... the son I never had... and wanted... before I always wanted to raise a son like you, and now I am able to." Celestia said, as she walked closer to me and began look me in the eyes once again.
"Really? Earlier you said you would be like a mother to me from now on. Isn't that the same as having me as your son?" I asked.
"Yes but, I didn't think you were so... so perfect. I was blind the entire time! I never actually noticed how you saw me, you saw me las if I was your mother. At first I thought you only had a small crush on me, but now... it's so clear. You could see your mother was stressed out about you and how you feeling about your school, she was worried, scared, she was terrified, because she thought one day you would go insane, she was afraid of losing you. That is why she looked up to Luna and I to look after you, that is why she called Luna that day to enroll you at Littlehorn. Only because she loved you with all her heart, and was afraid that something terrible would happen to you." Celestia said, astonished.
"I know that now, and that is the way I always saw you and Luna. When ever I saw my mom upset about something, I thought of you and Luna, and when I first saw Luna in my old house I felt like I was in a dream. I guess when my mom got greatly upset, she too though of you and Luna. So she called her for support, like you said. Then she saw how happy I was about enrolling at Littlehorn and meeting Luna and you. Whenever I am happy, she's happy as well. I sure if anything ever happened to her, which something did, she'd leave it up to you and Luna to watch over me."
"Isaac, from now onwards, Luna and I will promise to look after you, in honor of your mother Alexa. If there ever something that happens to Luna and I, do not worry, we will still be with you... in spirit and in heart." Celestia vowed.
"Agreed, with will be you protectors, your guardians." Luna said.
"I appreciate that... again, and I sure you would get to be like to mother you wanted to be Celestia, and Luna can be like the aunt." I said.
"I will do my best." Celestia said.
"We'll... do are best." Luna corrected.
Then with that said, they both gave me a warm hug and Celestia even gave me a kiss on my forehead, I blushed, so did she. Celestia was even stroking my mane, and Luna was giving me a little massage wince Celestia was doing all the mother-like things. Nervously, in return I gave Celestia and Luna a small kiss on their cheeks, they were surprised that I did. Then they informed me that I would be staying in their room for the nights, and I could set all my things there too, as long I don't make a mess. I nodded, then I told them I was going to have Octavia show me around the stable for the day, and I decided I would spend some time at the stable-gym if there even is one. They nodded back, and I made my way for the door and walked out of the room.
When I arrived at Octavia's dorm, which was being shared with Vinyl, I was let in and I saw Octavia with her cello, playing music with sound very beautiful. I entered to room slowly and silently, I didn't want to disturb her. But she looked towards me giving me smile and continued to play her cello. While Vinyl was looking at blueprints which had the layout of the stable, and another which was for my cybernetic-foreleg. Vinyl then saw me and mouthed, "isn't she amazing", to me. I nodded in agreement, and I sat down and listened to the relaxing music being played by Octavia. When she finished, she put her cello away and turned towards me and said:
"May I help with anything, or did you come to hear me play music?" Octavia questioned.
"I came to ask if you could show me around the stable for awhile, I want to see if there's a gym, oh, and I liked the music, it was very calming."
"Why I'm glad you enjoyed it, and sure. I'll show you where the gym is, it's not the hard to find."
"Thanks, I also heard about what you told Celestia and Luna last night... without me knowing."
"Oh sorry about that, really! I thought it was really cute of you, so I only told them... and Vinyl."
"Vinyl too? Who do you plan on telling next?"
"I'm sorry, I won't tell anyone else without your permission! I promise!" Octavia grew nervous then said, "By any chance did they tell you anything else? Like something... about sleep? Octavia then began to blush.
I thought before I spoke, "Well they only mentioned how you said how cute I was when I sleep. That's all." I felt relieved that Octavia didn't get upset about what I heard. Actually, Celestia and Luna didn't say anything about what Octavia was talking about, I knew what she was talking about because I heard what she said in my sleep. I remember in the dream I had about Octavia I was being held by her, and she was telling me that she wanted to... snuggle? It was something like that, I couldn't remember properly but I know it was definitely similar to that. Anyway, Octavia continued to carry me to who knows where, but I responded something like, "I do too," or, "I want you to be my girlfriend." For all I know, I felt really embarrassed, and comfortable in Octavia's possession. Then the dream ends with Celestia announcing Octavia and I... husband... and wife. Now I wish didn't remember that bit.
"Isaac... DID they tell you anything!?" Octavia had an anxious tone in her voice.
"What, no, no, they didn't tell me anything at all. To be honest I have now idea what you said because I was probably asleep!" I said trying to convince Octavia that I never heard a single word from last night.
"Are you positive?"
"Yes."
"So you didn't hear anything?"
"Yes."
"Positive?"
"Yes, I didn't hear a thing in my sleep." I finally said. "Can we get back on track now?"
"Sorry about that love, I just got a bit paranoid that's all. Nothing to it, now I show you the stable gym and you're welcome to stay there if you like." Octavia said, as she snapped back into focus.
I tried to ignore the fact that Octavia called me, "love," I guess that's what British-mares say to one another. Or maybe she is trying to hint something, like her behavior in my dream? Never mind that thought, it would make me seem suspicious of something. So I followed Octavia to the stable's gym. My plan was to get used to my new body, also so I can learn to control my lightning. Also I always dreamed of being ripped, as in having muscles. Then I can finally fend for myself and others, I can protect the ones I care for. Just like the void-mare said, it's my destiny. Then Octavia stopped in front of me, and turned.
"Isaac, if you don't mind me asking, what were your plans for the future? You know... before the war."
That was a question that I never thought of. So I really don't know what I wanted to be when I was older. I once wanted be one of the royal guards, but only just to be close to Celestia and Luna.
"I guess I would've wanted to be one of the royal guards, but I not really sure why."
"Maybe you wanted to be with Celestia and Luna, protecting them with all your life. Well that's what I would assume." Octavia said.
"Well something like that I guess, plus, ever since I was about 5 years old, all I really wanted to do was to help others and protect them. After what happened when the balefire fell and when the changelings did their last minute invasion, and almost died... my purpose was decided. To prevent that from happening again, I vow to become strong and brave, to protect the ones I care for, I will be their guardian."
Octavia then gave me a look, she looked at me with respect. I could tell she felt the same way I was, because she also had experienced lost. All she has left is Vinyl, and will stop at nothing to protect her, even if it costs her own life. I hope there's never a situation like that, ever.
"That's... very touching Isaac, it really is. I'm glad you think that way, because I as well want to guide others so they can have a chance to believe that there is hope. Especially now, I can tell many have already lost all hope in survival, so they just give up. With that said... Isaac?"
"Yes?"
"Can you promise me, that you, no matter what happen from this point on, will never lose hope, and will always believe that you can overcome the obstacles that you face?" Octavia said, staring dead straight at me waiting for my response, as if the entire fate of the world depended on it.
"No mater what... I WILL BELIEVE, I WILL PROTECT, I... WILL... OVERCOME ALL EVIL!" I shouted with all my heart, to make it clear that will be the difference between the evil and corruption that destroyed the nation we knew and loved. Then Octavia put her hoof over my head, and stroked my mane. When I looked in her eyes, she was crying, crying because she was still trying to accept all that had happened because of the war.
"Isaac, I'm sorry you have to see me like this. I am only afraid of what will happen next, I can't bear another tragedy, it would break me." Octavia said, trying to hide her tears, but failed.
"Octavia... please don't cry... I've been through stuff too, and I don't like it when the ones I look up to are upset. Don't be scared, right now we're safe, and we'll grow stronger as time goes on. You're not alone, I'm with you, along with Vinyl, Celestia and Luna, maybe more. Plus, I think the crying is my role, as of now." I said.
Then I wiped the tears off of Octavia's face, and gave her a hug that I needed to give in return for what she done for me. She hugged me too, and said,
"Thank you Isaac, it seems you have returned the favor, and I guess crying is your kind of role, since you look so cute when you do." Octavia said, then let out a small laugh.
Moments later, Octavia and I arrived at the gym. It was a large room filled with all sorts of exercise equipment, there was even some stable residents already in the gym exercising. Then Octavia turned to me and said:
"Here it is, the stable gym. There already residents who go to the gym daily. You can too, but since your under the age of 13, you must be accompanied by an adult, or someone who's 13 or older. Unfortunately, I am only 12, but maybe you can ask Celestia or Luna to come with you."
"13 or older? But Celestia and Luna are the overmares of the stable, they will most likely be busy buying the day. What about Vinyl, how old is she?"
"Vinyl is 15, but she's not the one you would want to supervise. Vinyl can be a little... Irresponsible sometimes. I wouldn't want to hear about how you get badly injured, while Vinyl is busy staring at flanks." Octavia suggested, and I agreed with her.
"Then who else can watch over me?" I asked.
"Well there's a stallion named Big Macintosh, the brother of Applejack, I hear that he's in the stable and was assigned to be one of the stables fitness coordinators. Even though he should've been in stable 2, which was built near the Apple family orchard, but stable 115 was the nearest stable around at the time. If you want, I can lead.you to him."
"Sure, I heard that he used to train military troops, which is the type of training I look forward to, also it would be really useful to know stuff like that since the balefire was unleashed. By the way, do you know if he knows anything about martial arts?"
"Actually, I do, I bet he can teach you how to fight like the zebras do." Octavia said.
"That's amazing, they can paralyze with a single strike of a hoof. If I combine that with my lightning, then I'd be unstoppable! Octavia, led me to Big Mac, please." I was very eager to learn the unique fighting style of the zebras.
"Why I don't need to, he's right there." Octavia pointed to a crimson red stallion, with a brown-ish gold mane, green eyes and half of an apple for a cutie mark, he also had a rancher's hat and a strange collar that was like a necklace.
I then made my way towards Big Macintosh, and as I got closer, he seem to have noticed me and gave me a smile. Then I spoke:
"Are you Big Macintosh?"
"Yep." Said the crimson stallion. "May I help you with anything?" Big Mac spoke with a deep western accent, similar to his sister Applejack.
"I heard you are the stable's fitness instructor, and I was wondering if you be my trainer."
"Yep, that's me, and I'd be happy to be your trainer. So what do you want to learn kid?"
"Do you know anything... like what zebras used in the war?" As I said that, I felt a bit stupid for asking such a question. Big Mac paused, and looked at me curious about what I said.
"I see... You want to learn the ,Fallen Caesar Style , don't ya?" Big Mac guessed.
"Fallen Caesar Style ? Isn't that one of the most 'deadliest' type of martial art types?" Fallen Caesar Style is THE most difficult styles to learn, and I am willing to take a chance. If I learned that, then used my lightning, I would be praised as a god for possessing such power! I can finally protect everyone, and prevent many deaths, and vanquish the corruption, like the changelings, from this world.
"Yep, and it just so happens I have mastered it in a few months time, but this takes a lot of patience and energy. So if you want me to teach you, then you have to be prepared. This won't be easy, but this will make you a fierce opponent. You also have to exercise daily, for about 4 hours a day, everyday." Big Mac was actually going to teach me Fallen Caesar Style! I didn't care about how long I have to exercise, I could take it, and it would all be worth it in the end. If I do this, then I can finally become the hero that equestria needs.
"I'm up for it! So when do I start? Or should I begin immediately? Or how about-" Big Mac cut me off and told me that I need to take this very seriously. But I was, I've been waiting for an opportunity like since forever. Big Mac then told me that I would begin tomorrow morning, and he would first teach me some techniques that would be key to unlocking my potential. Like a catalyst.
