Mane 6 POV

"What are you?" Twilight couldn't help but say it out loud. She clamped her hooves over her mouth the instant her sentence had formed, but the creatures in font of her had heard her. The dragon's eyes widened before narrowing.

"How do you know the language of the Future?" The voice sounded quite masculine. Deep and majestic, filled with knowledge one could only get from years of travel.

"What do you mean?" Twilight asked in confusion, her friends staying behind her as she talked to the dragon. "Shouldn't all dragons know Equestrian?"

Now it was the dragon's turn to be confused. "Equestrian? What is that? The language we are speaking is from the Future, only those who come from the Future should know it!" Then the dragon grew agitated, "And I am not a dragon! I am a Charizard!"

"Hey! Don't talk like that at my friends!" Rainbow shouted, glaring at the Charizard.

"Sorry, but that's a bit of a touchy subject for me." The Charizard explained. "My name's Blaze, what are yours?" He asked. This time he was much more calmer.

"Oh, my name is Twilight Sparkle. These are my friends Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie,"

"HIYA!"

"...Moving on... Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy." Twilight said. "What about your friend next to you?"

"Oh, that's my partner Aura. Couldn't imagine living without him." Blaze said with a smile.

"Is he a Diamond Dog?" It was Fluttershy who asked the question.

"Hm? Oh no, Aura's a Lucario. His parents thought it would be funny to name him after the thing he can see. Quite funny to me, but he's proud of the name." Blaze answered.

Aura started speaking to Blaze in a language that nopony in the room could understand. Blaze responded in the same language, but took longer. He also pointed to each pony there.

"Reckon he's introducing us to his partner?" Applejack whispered to Twilight.

"Probably." Twilight whispered back. The ponies waited in awkward silence until Blaze turned back to them.

"Sorry about that," He apologised, "Aura isn't from the Future so he doesn't know how to speak this language. I can teach him later, but for now I will be our spokesperson."

"'Spokesperson?" Applejack and Rainbow questioned.

"He means that he will be speaking for both of them." Rarity explained.

"Will you two come back to town with us? There are a couple of things I would like to ask you." Twilight said.

"Sure, just let us finish up here and we'll come with you." Blaze said with a nod. He turned back to Aura and started talking to him.

Pokepals POV

"What did they want?" Aura asked.

"They want us to come back to town with them." Blaze answered.

"Heh, bet they got you talking more than you have in the past few months with that conversation." Aura joked. He got a glare for his troubles. "Hey! You know it's true!" Aura replied to the glare by pointing an accusing paw at Blaze.

"Shaddup." Blaze replied. The two of them continued looking around the room for anything they could've missed. Years of exploring drilled that into them. You never know when someone could've hidden something in the walls.

"Find anything?" Aura asked. Blaze shook his head. "You know, you were talking a lot before. Why not now?" Aura was genuinely curious about this. Blaze sighed before answering.

"It reminds me of the planet's paralysis. When everything froze." He said, just above a whisper. Aura's gaze softened as he pet his friend's back comfortingly. Blaze gave him a small smile.

When Blaze's spirits were lifted again, he turned to the ponies and addressed them. "We're ready."

"Then let's go." Twilight said. The duo were led out by the group of six as they left the ruins of the forest behind. Along the way, Twilight and Pinkie needled the Pokemon with questions, but Blaze always said 'Wait until we get to town.'.

When they arrived, the townsponies first reaction was to run and hide until they saw the ponies who had saved Equestria twice with them. They calmed down, but were still nervous about being in their presence. Whenever the Pokemon's gaze would travel over one, they would flinch away.

Eventually they made it to the library where Twilight let them in, almost like she was rushing. She closed the door behind everyone and called out to somewhere in the house.

"Spike! Where are you?!"

"Coming Twilight!" A younger male voice answered. The sound of claw tapping on wood reached them. When the owner of the footsteps turned around the doorway, it revealed to be a green and purple dragon.

"Whoa." He said as he gazed upon Blaze. "What did you need Twi?" Spike asked, never letting his eyes leave Blaze.

"Can you send a letter to Princess Celestia? I want her to be here when Blaze tells us about himself." Twilight said.

"Okay, just tell me what you want me to write." Spike said, finally dropping his gaze and bringing out a scroll and quill.

"Dear Princess Celestia,
I am sending you this letter to inform you of two new creatures that have appeared today. They are called..." Twilight stopped and asked Blaze a question. "I'm sorry, I never got what your race is called." She said with a sheepish smile.

"Our race is called Pokemon." Blaze answered.

"Thanks. They are called Pokemon and call themselves Blaze and Aura. They are going to tell us more about themselves and I thought you may be interested in listening to what they have to say.
Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle."

"Got it!" Spike exclaimed. He then rolled it up and ignited it on fire which turned it to sparkles and flew out the window. "There we go! All sent!" Spike said.

"Thanks Spike. Princess Celestia should be here any moment." Twilight directed the last part to Team Pokepals. Blaze nodded and told Aura what had just happened.

Turns out they didn't have to wait long.

Princess Celestia appeared in a flash of light, startling everyone in the room. "Twilight, are you alright?!" She practically shouted. Her eyes were frantically searching around the room, but somehow missed the two largest beings.

"Yes? Why wouldn't I be?" Everypony was confused at this point. They didn't get an answer as Celestia's eyes landed on the Pokemon before she charged at them and smashed the two through a wall.

"Princess!" Five ponies shouted.

"Blaze! Aura!" Fluttershy was the only one concerned for their guests.

Blaze and Aura picked themselves up from the ground. "If you need to communicate, use the aura!" Blaze commented before getting in a battle stance.

"Right!" Aura responded before doing the same. A second later, another alicorn fell from the sky. This one was slightly smaller than Princess Celestia and had a blue coat with a starry mane.

"Have I missed anything?" She asked.

"Not yet Luna. We need to rid our planet of these warmongers." Princess Celestia said.

"Should be fun." Luna answered with a manic grin.

"GO!" Celestia shouted before she flew at Blaze. Blaze quickly took to the air, leaving Aura to deal with Luna on the ground. Luna fired a beam of magic at Aura which was sidestepped before Aura used Earthquake which Luna took off to avoid. While the lunar princess was in the air and distracted, Aura formed an Aura Sphere in his paw and threw it at her. It hit its mark.

Luna flew through the minor smokescreen the Aura Sphere had formed and dashed at Aura with a black scythe in her magic. She swung it, but the movements were sloppy and Aura ducked under, sidestepped or jumped over them. When an opening presented itself, Aura used Close Combat and started using the Princess as a punching bag.

Aura finished it with a kick to the chest piece, cracking it and sending Luna flying back. She hit the side of a house and fell to the ground. Luna attempted to stand back up, albeit on shaky legs, but Aura contacted her to try and talk some sense into her.

"Why?" This made Luna stop. "Why do you want us dead?" Aura 'asked'.

"Your kind came here long ago. A war was started between our two races. We won't let another war start." Luna said through gritted teeth.

"We didn't come here for war." Aura 'stated', making Luna stop again.

"How do I know you're not lying?"

"I'll show you." As Aura showed his memories of the events leading up to meeting Palkia and travelling from the orb, Blaze had stopped flying away from Celestia and turned to face her.

"So you finally stopped trying to flee." She said.

"No, I think it is time we try to talk it out like civilised beings." Blaze said.

"So you finally learned to speak our language, did you? Doesn't matter. It's just a step up from the mindless brutes your kind is." Celestia stated.

Blaze shrugged. "Can't say I didn't try." He flew forward to meet Celestia in mid-air. Celestia lowered her heard before Blaze reached her, trying to impale him on her horn, but Blaze corkscrewed around her and raked her sides with Dragon Claw. It left long gashes in her otherwise pristine coat.

Celestia gasped as she felt pain for the first time in years. She soon started chuckling darkly, however. "Is that the best you've got?" Celestia twisted around and fired a beam of magic at Blaze. Blaze flew around it and used Flamethrower, bathing the solar princess in flames. He continued breathing for a while before stopping.

Celestia was still flying, but there were some singed areas in her coat. "My turn." Celestia fired a beam of solar energy at Blaze, but missed once again. More beams were sent towards the flying Pokemon as he flew around the skies to evade what he was sure to be certain death. Blaze slowly moved towards Celestia in his manoeuvring and raked her sides once more with another Dragon Claw.

"This is just the beginning, isn't it?" Celestia asked. She tackled Blaze and started flying towards the ground. "Next thing you know we're all going to be enslaved by your kind." Blaze managed to get a grip on one of Celestia's forelegs and twisted them around so he had a knee on her chest piece. "Monsters like you don't deserve anything." Celestia continued, charging up magic in her horn while Blaze charged up a Dragon Pulse. "You don't deserve to have a future." The two attacks connected, blowing the two off each other. "In fact, I think that you only deserve to have death. Nothing else."

Something snapped inside of Blaze at that moment. He started laughing, slowly increasing in volume until he stopped and stared at Celestia with a sadistic grin.

"What would you know?" Blaze started out quietly. "Do you know what it's like live in a place where the sun doesn't rise," Slightly louder, "Where the wind doesn't blow," He moved towards Celestia, "Where time doesn't flow," Blaze's flame on his tail started swirling around his body, "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE!" Blaze let out a mighty roar which made the other two combatants on the ground look up.

"Oh no. This is bad." Aura said with a shaky 'voice'.

"What do you mean?" Luna asked.

"Blaze has gone berserk. Celestia must've done something to disrespect his memories or friends."

"So? We'll just stop him." Luna said confidently.

"Do you know the type of enemies we have fought?" Luna looked to him. "We have fought literal gods. And they have all fallen to us. If you think you are higher than gods, then I call you foolish. The only way we can snap Blaze out of his rage is to knock him unconscious." Aura 'said'.

"Easy enough." Luna was about to take off until Aura spoke again.

"It has never been done."

Luna froze with her wings partly opened. "What do you mean?"

"Blaze has always defeated his opponents before taking out his rage on the surroundings. If you allow me, with all three of us working together we may stand a chance."

"'May' stand a chance? I think you underestimate us." Luna said harshly.

"Who do you think led all of our expeditions? Let me tell you. It was Blaze. He was the one who gave me strength when I had none. He led us through every obstacle we faced. Out of us, he is definitely the strongest. So if I was able to defeat you so easily, how do you think you would do against Blaze?" Aura 'replied' calmly.

Luna was silent for a bit. "Very well. I accept your aid." Luna charged up her horn and Celestia appeared next to her.

"Sister, I have new information." Luna said.

"Did you get it from beating it out of this thing? Did you find out their plans for taking over?" Celestia asked, glaring at Aura.

"I gave it of my own free will. And it think you will find what happened is quite interesting." Aura 'replied'.

"You will be silent until spoken to!" Celestia snapped. Off in the distance, another road sounded.

"Sister, we don't have much time. The only way to stop Blaze is to knock him unconscious. Aura here," Luna gestured at the Lucario, "told me that we need to knock Blaze unconscious before he goes on a rampage."

"Better yet, I'll just kill him." Celestia replied.

"Good luck. Even I would be wary of attacking him in this state. And I'm his partner for Arceus' sake!" Aura said with a glare. "Oh, and if you kill him then you'll have many gods trying to kill you to avenge their friend. I would be too."

"Silence! What could you possibly-"

"Tia, snap out of it!" Luna shouted. Celestia looked over at her sister. "These ones are different. I've seen Aura's memories and I deem him trustworthy. If you can't relinquish your hate for their kind, then I will have to ask you to leave." Celestia's eyes widened.

"Surely you wouldn't do that to your sister?!"

"I will if I have to. And if this doesn't change your mind then I don't know what will." Luna said before walking up to Celestia and whispering something in her ear. Whatever it was caused Celestia's eyes to widen.

"Are you sure they have them?!" She whisper-shouted at her sister. A nod was what she got in return.

"Are you two done now?" Aura 'asked'. Blaze was steadily getting closer.

"For now, yes." Celestia said. The three got in a triangular formation before each charging up an attack.

Celestia charged a beam of solar energy, Luna charged a beam of lunar energy and Aura charged up an Aura Sphere. The three of them launched their attacks at once, forming a Homing Lunar Eclipse Beam, heading straight for Blaze. Blaze charged up and Flamethrower and released it, pushing back the newly formed attack.

"How is he this strong?" Luna asked, shocked at how easily Blaze had pushed back their attack.

"Blaze is the strongest Pokemon other than Arceus that I know of." Aura 'replied' calmly as ever. "I'd be surprised if he couldn't push that back."

"Then how should we go around this?" Celestia asked.

"Try to find a way to keep him on the ground," Aura 'said', throwing an Aura Sphere followed by a Flash Cannon.

"The only spell that targets a single entity could prevent him from flying ever again." Luna replied.

"Then use one to stop everyone in the area, including you. Is that safer?"

Celestia sighed. "Very well." She cast a bolt of magic into the sky, making a dome appear before vanishing. "Done. None of us will be able to fly."

"Good, keep him distracted while I think of something to snap him out of this." Aura 'said'.

"Why us? Surely you know his attack patterns better than us!" Luna protested.

"That's why. I know him better and I can think of a way to get through to him." Aura 'replied'.

"Fine." Luna huffed.

"Now go!"

The two alicorns ran at Blaze, hoping to catch him off guard. Blaze spotted them and prepared a Dragon Claw as he ran at them as well. The sisters both pivoted on their front hooves and attempted to buck him, but Blaze ducked under it and ran his claws down their sides, drawing more blood. Both sisters teleported out of range of Blaze's melee attacks to come up with a new strategy.

"Luna, attack from a distance with your beams. I'll get in close and distract him. Just make sure you don't hit me." Celestia said.

"Got it."

Celestia ran forward once again, but tried jabbing a hoof at Blaze. Blaze sidestepped it and bought an elbow down on Celestia's back, making her fall to the ground. A beam of magic made contact with Blaze, sending him off Celestia and allowing her to get up. Celestia used her magic to form a shield and once again ran at Blaze.

When she got close enough, she used her magic to push her to the side, narrowly avoiding Blaze's punch, and brought her magical construct down on Blaze's head.

Which did nothing.

Blaze charged up a Dragon Pulse and sent it at Celestia, pushing her back and damaging her at the same time. He then rolled out the way to avoid another beam from Luna. Blaze started running towards Luna, but Celestia teleported in the way, taking most of the force. She dug her hooves into the ground to stop Blaze's mad charge, but it didn't do anything to hinder him.

Eventually, Blaze plowed into Luna and used Celestia to jump away from them. He charged up a Blast Burn, past the strength he normally used for it. Blast Burn is a devastating attack, so he always lowered his power output for the attack. Before he could unleash his last attack, Aura jumped on his back and wrapped his arms around his neck.

"Blaze! You need to snap out of this!" Aura shouted in his partner's ear. To everyone else, it sounded like gibberish. "This is not you! Remeber the times we spent together, the times you helped me!" Blaze was now standing still. "Remember the Waterfall Cave? You gave me the strength to jump through. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be anywhere near where we are now." Blaze's posture sagged and the red glow in his eyes dimmed.

"So snap out of it! I know you're stronger than this! Don't let your rage overcome you like this!" Aura continued. "I need my friend back."

Blaze's eyes returned to normal, along with any aggression in his posture. "Aura? What happened?" He asked softly.

"You had another one of your rage moments." Aura replied.

"Then where's Princess Celestia and Luna? Did I beat them?" Blaze asked.

"Well, yes and no. Just look behind you." Blaze did as Aura said, and gasped before rushing to the downed alicorn sisters.

"Oh Arceus, are you two okay?" Blaze asked, almost having a panic attack. Celestia was the first one to rise.

"We are fine, thank you. We just need to rest for a bit." Her voice was much calmer and filled with less hat than before.

"Phew, that's good." Blaze let out a sigh of relief. "Hold on, what happened to you trying to kill us?"

"That was a... misunderstanding." Luna came into the conversation, standing on shaky legs. "Aura showed us his memories and you fussing over us proves how kind you really are. Unlike your ancestors." She mumbled the last part.

"Why were you so mad in the first place?"

"That is another story for another time." Celestia said. That seemed to spark a chord within Blaze's memories as he gasped.

"Speaking of stories, I was going to tell those 6 ponies more about us. Would you like to join us?" Blaze asked.

The two princesses looked at each other. "Canterlot can run by itself for a short time." Luna said.

"Very well." Celestia looked to Blaze. "Let's go meet up with Twilight and her friends." The alicorns went to take a step forward, but had no strength to walk.

"Here." Blaze walked over to Celestia and picked her up whilst Aura did the same with Luna. "Try not to overexert yourselves too much." He said. Suddenly, his vision grew blurry.

"What?" His vision started going black.

"Not again!" He stopped himself from collapsing before witnessing a vision.

Blaze and Aura were in an arena, watching the crowds above them as they demanded for blood.

"And the last competitor is a doozy! He comes from a land of darkness, please welcome... Gr-"

A beam of yellow energy hit the MC and a white shape landed in front of the duo.

The vision ended their, revealing three worried faces.

"Are you alright Blaze?" Celestia asked.

"Do you need to rest?" Luna asked.

"Was it a vision, or just sound?" Aura 'asked'. The alicorns looked at Aura in confusion.

"What do you mean?" They asked simultaneously

"It was a vision." Blaze said in his mind and out loud.

"A vision?" Luna asked.

"I'll tell you about it later. For now, let's go and see Twilight."

The two Pokemon carried the injured and fatigued princesses back to Twilight's home where the door slammed open.

"WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?!"
