The rise of the three gamers
Prologue: My first convention
Want to hear some advise? When you see a strange guy that look like the merchant from resident evil and selling some pretty cool stuff but, nobody was even noticing him? GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE! Sadly, that was not what my friends and I did. We were in our teenage years and were inside my mom's car. Yes I know that having your mom drive you to places is kind of lame but, I didn't have a license so this was my only option. By the way, my name is Max Silver. I was wearing a simple, red T-shirt, blue jeans and plain shoes. I had black colored hair that went against my white skin and my eyes were completely blue. I'm going to simply tell you this if you want to know, I am a brony. Ever since I watched the first episode of MLP, I got hooked. I had watch all the episodes of the show up to date and I was actually going to my very first convention in my whole life! I manage to convince my mom to take me there and she said yes but, there was only one way I could go.
"I still can't believe that you got me into this mess.", A certain voice groaned next to me. The one that spoked was my brother, Jason Silver. He was sitting next to me inside the car. He wore a gray hoodie with black trims on it, blue jeans just like mine except they were a bit ripped at the bottom and running sneakers. He had brown, spikey hair, white skin and green eyes. He was the condition that I had to follow. My mom thought that it would be safer for me to bring along my older brother; He wasn't quite thrilled about going to the convention with me. In case you didn't notice, he was NOT a brony like me. He always thought that MLP was for little girls. He had only watched the show for about two minutes and instantly said he hated it. He been like that ever since but, he had been there for me when I needed him. Lets just say that being a brony can make you an easy target for bullies. They had always picked on me for liking the show but, they stopped bothering me when Jason punched them in the face. Anyways, he was a great brother... Most of the time.
I turned to face my brother to answer his question,"Cause mom wouldn't let me go unless you came along.", Jason groaned at the reason as it seem that he had just remebered,"Come on Jason, It's not all that bad when you think about it. We will only be here for about two hours and you can do whatever you want. Is that okay?", Jason moved his eyes at me and gave me a stare. I started to get a bit nervous at what he was about to do but, all that worry was washed away when he pulled me in for a noogie. We both laughed at this while I tried to get out of his grip.
We were having fun messing with each other until mom looked at us in the rear mirror,"Calm down you two, we will be there soon.", Jason and I stopped messing around and got back into our seats. I was seating normally while Jason was slouching on his. The car soon stopped as we have finally arrived at our destination. I looked out the window and saw a lot of people walking into a large building. We both opened the door as we walked out of the car and walked our way to the building. Mom had gave her goodbyes as we had returned to her as well. While we walked, I saw a certain person tapping his foot as if he was waiting for someone. He was wearing a light gray shirt covered slighly by a light jacket that isn't too hot but, not too cold. He also had a pair of gray pants that were a little bit loose on his legs but, not enough that they are baggy. He had running shoes on today. His black hair was a tiny bit messy but, still tamed, his hazel eyes looked around the crowd.
I waved my hand into the air as I yelled out to him,"Over here Alan!", Alan manage to hear me as he turned to face the person who yelled out his name. He had a bright smile on him as he walked towards us as we are doing the same to him. We all stopped when we were close enough to talk to each other.
"Finally you guys showed up!", Alan told Me and Jason. He seem to be annoyed that he had to wait in the crowd for a long time,"What the bloody hell took you two so long?"
I took a step over to Alan to tell him,"We went into a bit of traffic so, it took a lot longer than we thought. Sorry about that.", I said that last part while I rubbed the back of my head. Alan had only smile at me but, that was ruined when Jason said something.
"Hey Alan,", Alan turned to face Jason to see what he wanted to say by the looks of it. Jason made a sign with his hands as to say to lower something down a bit,"Your accent is coming back a little.", Alan went a bit wide eyed that he accidentally went into his british accent. Alan chuckled nervously about his slip up. Alan was part british as his mother was american. His english was alright but, he has a tendency to slip into his accent and say phrases that were common in england. Alan cleared his throat a bit to avoid talking in his accent again.
Alan turned on his heel as he started to walk towards the entrance. Alan turned his head to face the others,"Are you two coming or what?", Jason and I looked at one another for a bit and I started to run after Alan while Jason walked behind me. What none of us knew was that our lives would never be the same again.
Excitement was not good enough to describe how I feel right now. We were currently walking through the market place where people were selling stuff to others. Some of the people here were cosplaying as characters from the show and even a few were dressed as deadpool. I looked at both of my sides to look at Jason and Alan. Alan was currently looking at the merchandise to see if they were worth any value while he rubbed his chin and Jason looked bored as hell. I only had a small glimple on a stand but, that was enough to stop me in my tracks as the others walked pass me. I looked at my right to see a certain booth that stood out the most out of anything here. It had a lot of cool things on it like swords, accessories, and tons of other things. The one thing that stood out the most was that the seller was dressed like the merchant from the resident evil series. Jason stopped as he turned his head to see me just standing there. Jason grabbed Alan by his collar to stop him. Alan looked at Jason with an annoyed look but, that soon faded away when Jason pointed at me.
They both looked at one another before Jason walked toards me. Jason put his hand on my shoulder,"Hey what's wrong little buddy?", That manage to shake me out of the trance as I shook my head amd looked at Jason and Alan who had a worry look on their faces.
I rubbed the back of my head before answering Jason,"It's nothing really but,", I pointed to the same stand I saw. Jason and Alan looked at where I was pointing to and saw the merchant's stand,"Why is nobody noticing the stand?", I asked them. Everybody was just walking pass the stand as if it doesn't even exist. Alan and Jason just shrugged their shoulders as they told me they didn't know. So, I decided to walk towards the stand. Jason and Alan looked at each other before walking with me. When we reached the stand, the seller looked up at us.
"So what is it that you seek?", The merchant's voice was calm and wise as if he was a wise man. This kind of caught me off guard but, the others didn't seem to react much so, I decided to push off like it was nothing. We do have some money so why not spend it on some souvenirs. We started to look at what the man had on him. While I looked around, my eyes caught the sight of three odd looking items. They were three buttons that had a symbol of a game pad on them. I was sure why but, something was telling me to pick them up.
I picked up the three buttons as I turned around to face my friends,"Hey, do you guys want one?", They turned to look at what I was talking about and saw the three buttons that was spread out on my palm. Jason shrugged his shoulders and picked up one and Alan did the same. I put my button inside my pocket as I continued to look around the stand. I decided to buy the five deck of cards as I place them in front of the merchant. Jason placed down some cool leather gloves as he had a smirk on his face. Alan had a rifle, a pair of goggles that looked like they came from an steampunk era with bronze gears that were attached around the lens and a couple of magazines on the table? Jason and I gave him an 'what the fuck' look.
Alan noticed our faces and only asked one thing to us,"What?"
Jason rolled his eyes as he pulled out his wallet,"So how much for this stuff and these buttons?", Jason asked the booth owner.
The merchant looked up to Jason and told him the price,"$18 for these four items.", The seller waved his hand over the items and soon hold up his hand,"But, the buttons are for free.", Jason raised an eybrow at this but, shrugged it off cause it meant less money to pay. We all paid our share for the bill. The merchant took the money and put it in a resister on the booth,"A pleasure doing business with you. Have a nice day.", He said that last part in a cryptic, creepy tone. I was a little spooked at that but, ignored it as we walked away from the booth. That was when the merchant had a put on a creepy grin on his face as he let out a dark chuckle
When the convention was over, we decided to spend the rest of the last few hours we have to hang out before me and Jason had to go home. We were sitting at a tanle at a pizza place as we ate pizza and drinking soda.
Jason was chugging down his soda like he hadn't had a drink in ages. As he removed it from his mouth, he wiped his mouth with his sleeve,"This is turning out to be a good day right now!", Alan hipummed in agreement as he was currently chewing his slice of pizza.
I placed down the pizza I was eating as I talked to Jason,"I told you it wouldn't be that bad.", Jason chuckled as he remembered me saying that.
"Hey, I meant after the convention", Jason defended as he took a bite out of his pizza. I rolled my eyes as I went back to eating my slice.
We ate in silence for a bit until Jason lifted his soda can up in the air,"Let us toast! For my little brother's first convention!", I looked down in embarrassment,"And in hopes that he will lose his virginity someday.", I bulshed at what he just said and groaned. Alan and Jason got a laugh at me. After the laughter calmed down, we all picked up our sodas and clinked them together as we drank them all down. That was when the most strangest thing in our entire lives. A blue screen had appeared in front of my face with something odd written on it.

I was confused at what it read and was about to say something about it but, something happened. I dropped my can on the floor as my body felt limp as I fell backwards to the ground. The last thing I saw were Jason and Alan following the same thing I was going through. After that, everything went black.
