Chapter One: The Harmonizing

Location: Ponyville, Equestria; Princess Twilight Sparkle's Friendship Castle: Magic Lab/Observatory

"Alright girls, now that we've all gathered the crystals I've requested we need only transfer our harmony magic and they should be good to go" Twilight stated checking all the necessary parts of the machine that would channel their magic into the nine lockets on a nearby crystal table.
"Thanks again so much for this; all of you...you have no idea how big of a help these are going to be back in the other world..." Sunset Shimmer said to Twilight and the rest of her friends as they stood around waiting for Twilight
"Think nothing of it Sunset, I was more than happy to help with this project when you told me what it might entail...and in all truth this should have been done after my second trip to that world...while they do have a means of defending themselves with their current line of "weapons" nothing in that world is equipped to handle magic threats..."
"Which is where we come in...really I should be thanking Earth Pinkie, Rainbow, Fluttershy and Twilight too; they're the ones who gave me the idea...Guess it helps those girls are really big into anime and that power ponies show...they even got me hooked" Sunset chuckled. "Heck it makes perfect sense, we already had magic to begin with and transform when we play music...being super heroes just seems like the logical next step...heh plus it'll finally get Rainbow and Pinkie to stop bugging me about it." Sunset shook her head with a amused chuckle.
"Certainly, and do give my regards to human Twilight, the design she came up with for these lockets is very interesting...I have to say the concept is simply brilliant; connecting these lockets to the elements of harmony and the mirror, with these two magics you'll be able to directly access pure Equestrian magic with these pendants acting like your own personal portals! " Twilight said with a smile finishing her preparations. "Harmony Matrix is ready for stabilization!"
"Sure thing Twi..." Hearing it was ready, Sunset turned to the other mares in the room along with Spike. "Everypony and dragon ready?"
"Ready!" Everyone else proudly declared.
In the room stood the seven elements of harmony, Starlight Glimmer and Spike the dragon whom looks to have gone through a natural growth spurt now looking a bit more like his currently 'female friend' Dragon Lord Ember, complete with horns and finally with a set of wings and a longer tail. Three months after the end of the friendship games, human Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer had been trying to learn more about the magic of friendship and however magic in general worked in the human world; Sunset, being the curious one had decided to pry Twilight about her magic pendant that caused her Midnight Sparkle transformation and upon further research discovered that not only did it have the ability to track magic and contain magic but after it had absorbed magic directly from the portal it'd become directly linked to it which was why Twilight had managed to have enough magical power to blast holes in the fabric of reality between Equestria and Earth.
With this knowledge in mind and believing that the world may not have been 100% safe without a true magical line of defense, Sunset began mulling over how to properly weaponize their friendship magic so they could properly protect their world but for a whole month she'd come up with nothing. That is until one night during a sleepover at Pinkie's house, when the party girl was watching a new episode of power ponies with Rainbow Dash . Then later when Fluttershy was watching a magical girl anime on her tablet with Twilight; it finally struck Sunset. Together they were six girls and a talking dog who had the ability to turn into anthropomorphic magic pony girls that could fly and shoot rainbows; naturally id only make sense if they became super heroes of a sort. After discovering this Sunset got Rainbow, Pinkie Fluttershy and Twilight to give her all the anime and power ponies footage and information they could give her and then promptly wrote to princess Twilight to get her thoughts on the matter.
Needless to say the pony princess was on board with the idea as long as it was conducted safely and in a place where they could control any haywire magic that may occur. And so now here Sunset was, back in Equestria for the first time in a long time in order to find a way to protect her new home. They even managed to find a way to channel the dormant dragon magic in spike so that human world spike the dog could help in endeavors as well so he wouldn't feel left out at the request of human Twilight. As Twilight came back to the center of the room ready to complete the process she'd look to each of her friends. Each of the elements of harmony: Magic, Forgiveness, Honesty, Loyalty, Laughter, Kindness and Generosity, each wore one of the pendants around their necks; spike had a similar gem spiked collar around his neck and Starlight too had a pendant around her neck. They each had taken a position on a platform each adorned with their cutie mark and in spikes case the mark of the dragon and after Twilight and Sunset took their positions atop the crystal platforms, Twilight would speak.
"Alright everypony; and dragon...we need to focus, concentrate your magic and it'll funnel together through this sphere and stabilize the pendants and sync them to the harmony matrix." Twilight explained
"I still don't get how all this works..." Rainbow complained ruffling her wings as she sat on her haunches.
"I've already explained it three times Rainbow..." Twilight grumbled
"You know I don't speak egghead!" Rainbow bellowed
"Basically Rainbow, we transfer out magic into these necklaces and we harmonize our magic, once fully synced and the magic equally distributed I'll be able to take them to the other world where your human world counterpart will be able to tap into Equestrian magic to fight magic monsters and be super heroes." Sunset stated
"Oh..." Rainbow blinked and then exclaimed shooting into the air and doing a loop."AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are we...I mean they...gonna get like, super cool armor and weapons and stuff?!" Rainbow got in Sunset's personal space and was Pinkie Pie levels of excited.
"Eheh yeah...armor, helmets, wings and full access to Equestrian magic in a properly weaponized form for us to use as our imaginations see fit." Sunset explained trying to get Rainbow to calm down but could see she was just as hyped about this as human Rainbow Dash.
"I mean yeah, if you wanna explain it the simple way..." Twilight rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Anyway; is everypony ready?"
"Do we really have to harmonize them this way though?" Spike complained with his arms crossed
"Why whatever is the qualm Spike?" Asked Rarity who tilted her head in confusion.
"I mean do we really have to sing a song to do this? Can't we just power up like they do in the comics and do it?" Spike protested.
"We need to be in true harmony when we do this so yes...simply 'powering up' is only half the equation...C'mon Spike you don't ever seem to mind singing to Ember..." Twilight teased with a knowing grin
"H-Hey, thats different!" Spike defended with a blush on his face his eyes darting from side to side as the other girls giggled
"Tsk hardly Spike-wikey; I've heard how you sing to her darling, you have quite the voice" Teased Rarity nudging the adolescent dragon
"Uuuuugh" Spike groaned and huffed breathing some fire through his snout
"Oh relax Spike you only need to be in harmony with the song for a few minutes." Twilight added waving a dismissive hoof at the grumpy dragon.
"Plus it'll let your human world counterpart turn into a dragon..." Starlight added.
"Oh...right, forgot; can't leave the little guy hanging can I? Alright let's get this over with." Spike stated with a new swell of enthusiasm
"Excellent...Starlight you sure your ready?" Twilight asked cautiously
"Anything to help Twilight and you said it yourself, this is a team effort and if my magic reserves can help stabilize this matrix then I'm all for it." Starlight beamed happily having learned much from her studies of the ancient books that rest in the library of friendship.
"I do have to say it was ingenious of you to us magic to 'copy' our cutie marks into material form and seal them inside those crystals...and how convent that the crystals even took the forms of our cutie marks..." Sunset began to explain
"and Dragon Crest..." Spike pointed out raising a finger.
"Yes and your Dragon Crest, Spike...these mana crystals will last us a good long time and the best part is they're self recharging!" Sunset said with a intelligent grin. "They work a lot like the Dazzling's gems, we track down magic scattered around the world, we absorb it, it funnels through the gem purifying it if it isn't pure already and turns it into magic for us to use!" Sunset giggled and gave a dreamy sigh. "Twi is so smart..."
"Why thank you!" Twilight said with a grin.
"Ha-ha very funny Princess...you know what I meant..." Sunset blushed and puffed out her cheeks indignantly
"Heheh I know it's just fun to tease you sometimes...anyway let's get this done. Everyone ready?"
"Ready!" They all answered
"Hit it Vinyl!" Sunset said to the DJ pony who was set up at her DJ system at the back of the room with the speakers and other such technological magic machines hooked up to her turntables.
Giving a salute Vinyl would begin the track that was given to her by Sunset from Earth Twilight Sparkle which was the instrumental for the chosen song loaded on a flash drive. As the beat started and the music faded in everyone got into the mood and began to sway to the music and Applejack began.

As Vinyl played the song and the elements of harmony, Spike & Starlight sang in harmony together as friends they all began to channel their magic into the artifacts. The room exploded with rainbow light and their various cutie marks and spikes dragon crest flew about the room in perfect crescendo. When the elements of harmony reached the halfway point of the song they had all entered rainbow power mode, Sunset included, Starlight and Spike along with the rest of them cast astral projections of themselves save for Sunset who launched the projection of a Phoenix. The projections danced about the room in harmony to the music and each then entered the open pendants which were absorbing their rainbow magic and focusing it. Once the song was over and the lights died down after the rest of the magic was absorbed, the pendants closed and shook and shimmered with energy and then finally settled down.Once everyone had floated back down to where they had originally stood and everyone gave a smile to each other as Twilight and Sunset proclaimed.
"HARMONIZING COMPLETE!" They high-hoofed
"Woo-hoo! That was super awesome! It was all shiny and flashy and pretty! And those ghosty thingies were super neat!" Pinkie exclaimed hopping up and down
"Those were astral summonings Pinkie...those'll help us fight much...larger...more dangerous magical threats should they arise...when the sirens turned into those monster we very well could have died if my magic added to theirs didn't summon that giant crystal alicorn." Sunset stated.
"So what now Sunset?" Starlight asked
"Well now that the magic has been properly transferred we just need to run a field test to make sure all of the elements were properly transferred and layered out in the way we designed it too"
Sunset levitated her pendant over to herself and placed it around her neck and instantly felt a rush of power, similar to what she felt when she transformed at the friendship games but much...MUCH stronger, she could feel her inner fire burning hotter than it ever had and her eyes flashed a rainbow light for a moment upon putting the pendant on and her body literally shivered at the raw rush of power coursing through her from the tip of her horn to the soles of her hooves.
"Whoa...that's a rush...felt like I just had a storm of rainbow lightning shoot through me...I-I've never felt power like this before"
"Hehe guess that must've been me..." Rainbow quipped.
"Right...Anyway...here goes..." She grasped the pendant in her magic and charged it with her magic until the center symbol filled all the way up with a red light and from the center her cutie mark would appear almost holographic and Sunset spoke the specialized transformation spell. "Shine Light Shine, Friendship...HARMONIZE!" It was then the pendant looked like it caught ethereal fire, her cutie mark appearing and engulfing Sunset in a blinding gold and red light and a small tune could be hear coming from the pendant, it sounded heroic and upbeat. When she stepped out of the light she was adorned in gold and red accented armor that was slim and form fitting, each plate of armor was gold with shades of crimson inbetween, her cutie mark stamped into a crystal upon her chest but its appearance changed some now having two phoenix wings on each side. Her flaming hair literally took the form of fire and cascaded out of parts of the helm she wore that seemed to be able to open and close at Sunset's will and there was even a guard for her horn in this form. She also had wings with golden wing guards and gold hoof guards upon her hooves. Standing tall at about now Princess Luna's height Sunset looked over herself with amazement.
"Whoa...check me out!!!" She exclaimed excitedly.
"Amazing!" Rarity exclaimed
"Awesome!!!" Rainbow said in total hype
"Ooooooh pretty!" Pinkie bellowed
"Well I'll be a fresh shocked zap apple tree..." Applejack stared
"We've really outdone ourselves this time..." Twilight added with a smile nudging Starlight.
"Aw it was nothing Twilight, couldn't have done it without you" Starlight blushed and smiled. "But I am glad to see the fusion of the elements of harmonies power has synced so well to you Sunset...how do you feel?"
"Powerful...like...really powerful...but I have control of it...all of it, it isn't like the time at the fall formal and its way stronger than the time at the friendship games...this kind of power...is this what Celestia wields on a daily basis? I feel like my soul and body are on fire but it doesn't hurt...it feels amazing!" Sunset exclaimed still looking over her new form and armor.
"I must say darling that armor is simply marvelous!"
"You and Earth Rarity are to thank for that, pure genius using your skills as a fashion designer as well as our magic to use our pure imagination as well as the power of the element of generosity to form indestructible crystal armor!" Sunset said
"So how does the rest of it work?" Applejack asked
"Here I'll show you..." Sunset said with a grin as she focused her magic on the cutie mark and opened up a portal to the desert just outside dodge junction and they all stepped through it.
"Whoa..." The others say at Sunset's amazing display of magical power.
"I know right? You see each of the elements merged together in harmony gives the wielder of these amulets different special traits. Prime example...these wings?....Dash...Race you to that mountain side and back...bet I smoke you..." Sunset grinned knowing Rainbow would take the bait
"YOU'RE ON!" Rainbow readied herself
"3...2...1...GO!" Sunset shouted
They both took off at top speed but clearly Sunset was faster doing her own fiery version of a sonic rainboom almost instantly as she took the the sky blazing a fiery trail toward the mountain and leaving Rainbow Dash in the dust and all Rainbow could do was stare mouth agape as Sunset blasted off.
"No...Way..." Rainbow said in disbelief.
Sunset zoomed toward the mountain at such speed she almost crashed into it until she turned up and glided up toward the sun, her shadow cast gracefully much like that of Celestia over the entire desert.
"Amazing! Such speed!"
"Well I'll be dammed..."
"So you see?" Sunset teleported back down to them all surprising Fluttershy. "The element of loyal is directly linked the Rainbow Dash and thus her wing power and flight speed are granted to whoever transforms with these amulets, and when human Rainbow Dash puts this on? Well let's just say the rest of us are gonna have to try and keep up, she's naturally just...fast...this is gonna make her that much faster...so don't worry Dashie your ego can rest easy that your still the fastest mare alive..." Sunset explained and teased Rainbow a little.
"Pft yeah whatever I mean it was kinda cool I guess, could've been 20% cooler though..." Rainbow waved a dismissive hoof
"Anymore stuff? Oh, Oh can you bust rocks?!" Pinkie asked excitedly.
"Can I? These amulets also give the wearer the strength and longevity of an Earth pony soooo...." Sunset stomped a powerful hoof and a large rock came up from the sand and she thrust her hoof at it and shattered it into a pile of pebbles and grinned. "Yes...I can totally bust rocks."
"What else can you do darling?"
"Well I do have the weapon summoning spell...each of us are going to have a specialized weapon but I think I'll save that for when I have my hands back..." Sunset said sheepishly. "Anyway that's all the basic stuff." She reopened the portal and they all stepped back through and Sunset then powered down the amulet and turned back to normal after being enveloped in a circle of red light.
"Now you and the other girls just need to practice with them and hope that when the time comes they serve you well..." Twilight said levitating Sunset all the other amulets along with her saddle bags.
"If you run into any complications write us immediately."
"Thanks girls, for everything; I couldn't have done any of this without you...I'll be sure to tell the other girls hello." Sunset said with a smile as Twilight powered up the mirror portal which Twilight, sunset and Starlight had modified to where now they could open a portal anywhere in the human world with the help of the cutie map and cross syncing it across the worlds. Getting her desired location which was the CHS music room where she'd written to her friends that she'd be arriving shortly, she'd give one final look to her Equestrian friends.
"Thanks again girls, I'll be back to visit soon."
"Good luck Sunset!"
"Bye girls"
Sunset Shimmer went through the portal back to the human world where she'd be ready to share her newest magical conquest and achievement with her friends. With this they'd now be ready for any darkness that dared to threaten their world now

"That was awesome!!!! I'd never felt anything like that before! It was way different than when we normally pony-up!"
"Agreed it was quite invigorating"
"And you say we still retain that magic after the transformation?"
"Yep and each of these amulets even unlocks hidden magic abilities in our DNA...so for me it'd be my magical aura as well as my special talent for pyromancy....Dash and Pinkie for example are the fastest..."
"Um you mean I'M the fastest?"
"Hehe only one way to find out right Dashie?" Pinkie giggled with a grin.
"You challengin' me to a race Pinks?"
"Are you accepting Dash?"
"Oh this is gonna be good! I've been itching for a rematch since Freshmen year!"
"Oh this ol' debate again? For pete sake Dash can't ya just let it go?"
"No way! Theres literally no one else as fast or faster than me...except Pinkie and I could never place why...but now with this new power? It's time i took my rightful title as the fastest girl alive...So bring it pinks!"
"This would be a good way to test the extent of their powers pre-transformation and the library doesn't exactly have a race track..." Twilight pointed out.
"Alright if you two wanna do it this way who am I to stop you?" Sunset said shaking her head as Rainbow and Pinkie went out back behind the stage to prep for their race. Each girl took a starting crouch stance as they got ready to take off, Pinkie seemed to be vibrating almost and Rainbow's hair flowed with electrical energy and did the rest of her body, it even crackled in her eyes of a rainbow color hue. Sunset looked to both of them she she stood between them at the starting line. "Ten laps around the city, first one back here wins clear?" Sunset asked them both
"As crystal..."
"Ditto"
"Well if you two are ready...3....2...1..." Sunset said as she got ready to reach zero Rainbow spoke to Pinkie again and grinned.
"Try n keep up Pinks..."
"Speak for yourself...Now...Run Dashie..." Pinkie kept her eyes forward and grinned began to say as Sunset brought her arm down
"GO!" Sunset shouted
"RUN!!!!" Pinkie and Rainbow said in unison as they bolted off at super sonic speed, their different color coattails left in their wake with Rainbow constantly giving off lightning as she ran and Pinkie simply leaving behind a coattail of Pink light behind her as they zoomed and crisscrossed through the streets of Canterlot City at top speed with neither of them slowing down and trying not to let the other get ahead of the other. They zipped and zoomed through traffic and through various neighborhoods and Rainbow even managed to pass and freak out an unexpecting Gilda Gryphon whom was a member of a local street gang called the Grpyhon Stones and ran her right into the middle of the cops, completely freaking her out. Having made that little detour she got back into the race and saw that Pinkie was still running and had an big amount of sweets with her and with each one she ate she got faster, especially when she guzzled down an entire foot-long pixie stick which caused her to vibrate even faster and accelerate to a speed far exceeding Rainbow's, breaking the sound barrier and leaving her coattail behind and it even looked like streamers were coming off her as she zoomed about.
"No way! Not this time...c'mon, c'mon Rainbow you can do it feel the speed...feel the wind..." Rainbow concentrated and the rainbow color lightning around her surged more and more and her eyes opened and flashed a rainbow color light and her body vibrated and moved at such a speed that she almost instantly caught up with Pinkie after doing a ground version of the sonic rainboom and blasting past her at the last second crossing the finish line having completed the tenth and final lap with Pinkie only a nano second slower than Rainbow but she wasn't prideful like the chromatic haired girl and conceded.
"Whoa! Ya beat me Rainbow! Hahah guess you could say you did it-"
"Don-" Rainbow tried to say
"In a Dash!!" Pinkie roared with laughter and got a playful punch in the arm from Rainbow Dash.
"Yeah well now its official...Fastest Alive...but damn Pinks you're fast! Seriously all that sugar can't be good for you!"
"Actually it really helped, the more I ate the faster I got! I was like a-"
"Sugar Rush?" Twilight pointed out
"Uh-huh! Say that sounds like an ubber neat hero name!!" Pinkie said with glee
"Sugar Rush huh? I like it...."Sunset smiled crossing her arms.
"Yeah! Sugar Rush the Guardian of Laughter!" She fist pumped and felt a swell of empowerment and accomplishment.
"How about you Dash? You gonna have a name?" Applejack asked.
"Hehe what else? Call me Tempest Bolt!" Rainbow punched the air and grinned.
"I've always fancied the name Radiant Diamond, elegant yet mysterious..." Rarity chimed in
"When ah was a lil girl papa would play cowboys and robbers with me and mac hehe I was always lil Brave-heart so i guess that'll be me..."
"I'd um...Like to be called Zephyr Lotus...if that's okay...it's not a bad name is it?"
"Of course not 'Shy that's a great name!" Pinkie said
"What about you Sunset? You transformed first; did you think of a name? I'm gonna stick to Midnight Sparkle...eheh it seems appropriate you know?
"Me? Yeah actually...Phoenix Sunshine...how about you Starlight?"
"Oh um...I was thinking something along the lines of Shinning Star?
"Well it looks like we've all got our names and out costumes...now just to stretch out our powers like Dash and Pinkie have started to do and test the full function of these amulets...." Sunset began to say not noticing that hers was flashing and vibrating along with everyone else's.
"Um...Sunset, are they supposed to do that?"
"Hm? That's odd..."
"What?"
"They're only suppose to respond like this where theres dark magic around but-"
"LOOK OUT!" Vinyl shouted ducking for cover and helping the others get down quickly. They all managed to duck and dodge the massive wave of magic energy that was blasted their way and it was a loud ear piecing howl projected as different color waves of energy with a black outlined aura. One was orange, one was blue and the other was purple.
"What the fuck was that?!" Rainbow Dash barked as she got back to her feet looking around
"R-Rainbow...look!" Fluttershy was still on the ground and was scared out of her mind at what she saw descending the hill toward them and the rest of the girls looked in shock and horror at what they were all seeing.
"No way..." Rainbow Dash was in complete shock...it was them
"Holy shit..." Applejack snapped with her eyes wide, she never thought she'd see them again
"Oh my lord...what happened to them?!" Rarity was in complete aghast
"Whoa theeeeeeeey look pissed..." Pinkie frowned and her pupils shrunk, she always wondered what happened to them but this was unreal almost.
"Who on earth are they?!" Twilight and Starlight asked in confusion.
"Impossible...we thought you were..." Sunset couldn't believe it...after a whole year and a half they finally showed up again in the worst way she had feared.
"Hello Rainbooms..." The being formerly known as Sonata Dusk spoke with a sinisterly gleeful smile and feral look in her eyes. "Weeeeeee're baaaaaaaaack!"
"Long time no see losers..." The being formerly known as Aria Blaze spat with a dark scowl on her face and her arms cross over her chest.
"Remember us do you? Did you miss us? Because we missed you....hmhmhm...I especially YOU...little pony..." The being formerly known as Adagio Dazzle snarled with a deviously haughty and evil sneer as she licked her now blackened lips and eyed down Sunset Shimmer.
"A-Adagio? Aria? Sonata? By Celestia...what...What happened to you!?" Sunset bellowed at them and the being formerly known as Adagio laughed.
"Adagio? Haahahahahahhahaha! That pathetic worthless little bag of flesh is gone...No my sweet little pony...my name...is Crescendo Wrath
"And I'm not that little bitch Aria...the names Ballad Fury
"And I'm not that dopey little retard Sonata...Nah; you can just call me Melody Malice
"And we're no longer those worthless and powerless 'Dazzlings' or even weak and feeble sirens...No...We are Banshee ...We are The Requiems ...and do you know what that means?" Crescendo asked
"We're the end of you!" Ballad hissed
"And we're gonna kill you dead for the darkness!! Doesn't that sound like fun!?!" Melody asked with a twisted smile
"Oh it does Melody dear sister...so you know what? Let's not keep them waiting ladies...master won't be happy if we take too long..." Crescendo said with a grin and lick of her lips as her grip on her sword tightened.
"I've been waitin' a long time for this...get ready bitches! Time for a rematch!" Ballad howled with a angry scowl and gripped her weapons at her hips and got ready to attack.
"Time to play a game of death! Spoiler alert! You lose!!! ehhehehehehhehe this is gonna be so much fun! For us I mean, for you this is gonna be super duper painful!" Melody said laughing evilly.
"Alright, you want a rematch? We'll give you a rematch! Ready girls?!" Rainbow said helping Fluttershy stand up and hardened her resolve and nodded and the other girls did the same and they all joined together on stage lined up in direct opposition to the Banshee's. "Heh dunno if you noticed but you seriously outnumbered..." Rainbow said with her arms crossed.
"Hm oh you're right Dashie...hmmm gee golly gosh; whatever shall we do Cree?! Melody pretended to be alarmed.
"Tch yeah sis, whatever will we do to even the odds?" Ballad rolled her eyes.
"Hm...choices...choices..." she'd tap a finger to her chin and strut down the hill toward the stage getting closer to the girls and stopped about half way and snapped her fingers. "Oh! I know...they wanna fight with friends? We just bring in friends of our own" Crescendo said grinning as she showed her teeth. "How about a little song girls?" She said as she began to hum a melody and her sisters joined in and it was a demonic and sinister sounding tune and from the ground an inky blackness would rise and take the form of deformed black crystal like monsters who were about the same height as the rainbooms and they all brandished different types of stabbing and blunt weapons.
"Raingoons; meet the wraiths, our little friends...hope you don't mind that we invited a few extra to this little party..." Crescendo said with a haughty sneer.
"Pft invite as many as you want, the more the better we look kickin' their butts!" Pinkie said pounding a fist into her palm.
"Well said Pinkie...I dunno what kinda evil took you three...but it's clear to me your far gone...so it looks like your gonna be the first magic scum we take out with these new powers...pity...we looked for you...tried to find and help you...show you a better way but somehow you eluded us despite my best efforts..." Sunset kept her voice even and she sighed and looked at the woman who'd once been Adagio Dazzle felt her heart ache a little. "Shame...we could've been friends..." Sunset said shaking her head.
"Friends? With you? AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! After what you did to us?! NEVER! I'm going to enjoy hear every last delightful scream you girls make as we beat the life out of you and then hearing the combined chorus of your deaths when we hand you over to our master...mmmmm I'm getting moist just thinking about it!" Crescendo hummed deviously as she spoke of and thought of the unspeakable things she and her sisters would do to the rainbooms, feeling herself up as she did so and the whole time her gaze was locked on Sunset. "And I'll take special pleasure in making you adore me before I end your life little pony...master promised if I was a good girl I could have you after he has your light...and I can't wait!" Crescendo hissed and snapped her jaw at Sunset.
"Hmph...don't flatter yourself Crescendo, I'm spoken for and your not my type..." Sunset affirmed by grabbing Twilight and pulling her close by the hip and Twilight nodded and pushed up her glasses to affirm her point.
"Yeah! She's my little pony, get your own!" Twilight bellowed, she'd not have anyone trying to take her Sunny away from her.
"D'awwwwwww ain't that sweet? The wittle dweeb is in wuv! How sick...blech" Ballad gagged
"Hehehe I hope Cree fucks your little face off in front of your precious little geek and kills you in front of her! I'd totally post that on My-Stable! oooh hehehhehe even better! She can fuck little sun-tits up there and you and me can take the little twerp and she her some real fun eh? eh whatdya say Balli?" Melody nudged her sister and looked at her with smoldering eyes

"But if it means putting the cunts who ruined our lives in their place? Sure...I get to wreck her first though..."

Touching their amulets they'd power them up and speak their command spell. "SHINE LIGHT SHINE, FRIENDSHIP...HARMONIZE!" Their cutie marks appeared and enveloped them in light and they underwent their transformation and when they stepped out they all posed in position together as their powers came out in full and Spike towered behind them but enough to where he wasn't overly huge since his amulet allowed him to also control his size.

"While this little light show and comedy act is fun...let's get to the real dance shall we? And just to make sure no on gets in our way..." Crescendo whipped put her sword which doubled as a chain like whip blade and lashed it around the surrounding area creating a magic barrier that kept outside forces out and gave the illusion that all was normal.
"This little auditorium ought to keep out any peeping toms and peaking patty's...now the little pony....shall we dance?!" She pointed her blade at Sunset.
"Let's rock Rainbooms!" Sunset shouted as she jumped into the fray of battle with her friends in toe for round two against the Dazzlings and their new found darkness.
"Darkness shall reign!" The Requiems bellowed charging forward with their small army ready to clash with their mortal rivals.

"LET'S DANCE"/"LET'S ROCK!" Shouted they opposing side of light and darkness as they began their grand battle, their rematch, their encore and the Banshee's intended to go for broke or die. The Rainbooms were new and fresh in their power save for Sunset as she'd gotten some combat experience while training under Celestia with her spells but other than that none of the other girls knew how to completely use their powers so this would be their first official field test and they were outnumbered thanks to the Banshee's summoning a multitude of grunts for them to battle on the side like any spineless coward villain would do but The Banshee's simply did it to even the odds as well as toy with the Rainboom's intent on pushing them to their limits even if they were green.
Knowing that this moment might have come sooner than later Sunset; when creating the amulets had integrated various different magical algorithms into the core of the harmony matrix that would enable the girls a wide variety of skills once they'd activated the amulets and began using their magic. One of those things was combat ability with Sunset having taking recorded magical data from various combat tomes both Equestrian and human giving the girls a near infinite number of martial art styles to choose from as well as knowledge of all forms of weaponry and their use. The amulets magic also increased their intelligence, awareness, all of their senses and as seen with Pinkie, Rainbow and Sunset, granted each girl a power that was tailored special to them as well as giving each of them their own custom special weapon that's powered purely by their magic and manifest out of the different parts of the girls outfits depending on where their cutie mark is on their armor.
The Banshee were no slouches either, reborn with the power of the darkness they'd been given immunity to all earthly forms of harm and inhibition of emotions and feelings like fear, doubt, hesitation, remorse, sympathy and pain. They were wilder berserk like fighters, not giving their foes a single chance to breathe and struck strong and fast and would often even use their earsplitting voices to aid them in battle by deafening the enemy. They'd even each been given the ability to manipulate sonic vibrations and waves of sound which in of itself was a very dangerous power if used to try and kill. Each of the Banshee had a hellish and dual purpose weapon that aided them in battle.
"Come little pony! Come and play with me like old times!"
Howled Crescendo with a malefic grin on her face as she dashed forward through the grass, her spiked heeled boots moving at incredible speed as they kicked up the dirt and she leaped into the air and spun around unsheathing her long blade and whipping around in a circle as she spun downward on Sunset Shimmer who was barely able to put up a force field fast enough to block her attack. The other girls far to occupied with the other Banshee and the grunts to do anything; Crescendo loved to have her alone time with her prey.
As her blade clashed against the golden barrier that came forth from Sunset's cutie mark that was on a bracelet on her wrists; Crescendo's smile turned to an evil sneer as she licked her black painted lips.
"I'm gonna make you scream little filly!! hahahahahaha!"
With a flick of her wrist on the blades handle, the blade itself began to morph, forming jagged and sharp edges along the long purple and black obsidian like blade that matched her armor in style. As the different parts of the blade sectioned off to form a spiked whip much like that of Ivy's blade from Soul Calibur and it looked like a spiked spinal cord with a purple glowing center.
"Come here little pony!" She bellowed as she yanked Sunset toward her and as Sunset hurdled toward her she struggled to try and break the grip of the blade's against her shield as they were beginning to leak through it and Sunset was quick to notice the blade was drenched in a dripping black poison as well. When she reached Crescendo she was thrown into a tree with heavy force snapping it in half and then she felt the chain like blade got taught and Crescendo sneered evilly and yelled.
"I wanna hear you scream!!!"
She let loose a sonic scream of her own that was complimented by an erratic and visible wave of orange and black sonic energy that blew Sunset back as she put up another shield to defend herself as she crashed into the stage making a large dent as she impacted the wood and metal. Crescendo put a hand on her hip and swung and twirled her sword in its whip mode menacingly as she strutted up to Sunset and she even lewdly licked the individual blades of the whip and lapped up the poison that leaked from it.
"I'm going to enjoy plunging Wailing Cadence into your heart little pony..." She said in a lustful evil husk as she flicked her tongue on each blade in a lewd manner. "I'm going to take so much pleasure in hear your screams...your pleas and begs for mercy...and how delicious it'll be when i deny you all of it!" She snapped and narrowed her eyes in contempt and lustful longing.
"And once master has your light? I'm going to toy with you...torture you...break you...make you mine! My little pony to adore and to serve me like all scum of the creation should!" She hissed as Sunset Shimmer began to stand up and while was a bit banged up she was far from down for the count.
"Yes, stand bitch...stand and take your punishment! Show me what you have! Don't make this too easy for me little pony! I wanna enjoy this dance of ours!" Howled Crescendo at Sunset and Sunset spat her blood from her mouth as her hair mattered her face to the ground and Crescendo hummed in amusement. "Oh? Ready to play now are we? Well don't keep me wai-"
"Do you ever shut up or do you just love hearing yourself talk? I know after we kicked your ass the first time we fucked up your voices but horseapples your annoying..." Sunset shook her head as some of her old snark came out after getting tossed around like that and she thought to herself 'Okay bitch...Now I'm mad' and brought up her arm and the brace that bore her cutie mark and summoned a blade that was red and gold and the hilt had her cutie mark on it with two phoenix wings on the side to show the difference in its transformed state. It was a thin broad sword with golden accents and magical markings across the base of the blade and as Sunset gripped and twirled it around it caught fire of a golden hue and she pointed it as Crescendo.
"You wanna dance? Fine...Let's dance!" She said charging in with her blade Burning Phoenix .
"Now we're talkin'!" Crescendo yelled with devious glee as she charged in herself again, her sword now back in its blade mode instead of its whip mode as the two girls charged at one another and when they finally met, they clashed and a shockwave of fire and darkness emitted from them which even took out a few of the stone grunts that were in the way of the clash. The metal scraping together they locked eyes and Crescendo giggled sinisterly and with her other hand formed a ball of soundwaves and tried to plunge it into Sunset's chest but Sunset brought her magic on her left arm and from the brace there came a shield that was like a holographic light projection of her cutie mark that acted as a shield and it deflected the soundwaves enough but it still pushed them back from one another.
"I'm not gonna let you hurt my friends or anyone else!" Sunset said slashing a wave of fire at her enemy but she managed to dodge it and laugh.
"Poor little pony...so much light and so little idea how to use it...you think you can defeat me by being so weak? Ha! Your all just making this far too easy." She said with a dismissive wave of a hand. "If this is all you have master will have your light in no time..."
"And just who is this 'master' you keep yammering on about?"
"Ah, ah ,ah little filly no spoilers..."
"Can we get a hin-" Pinkie asked in the distance and Crescendo yelled
"NO SPOILERS!" She voice rang in a demonic rumble.
"Fine by me, I'm a smart pony so I'll find out...and when I do...we WILL stop you just like last time..." Sunset narrowed her eyes at the evil Banshee not taking her eyes off her for even a second as she was ready to defend herself
"We'll see about that little pony...now come...let's continue our little duet while my baby sisters play with your friends!" Crescendo snapped and prepared to attack again and continue her vicious duet of battle with the object of her obsession and the center of all her wrath.

"Sunny!" Pinkie and Twilight bellowed out as Sunset came under attack and got tossed around by Crescendo Wrath ready to go and help her.
"Sunset!" Shouted Fluttershy ready to take action.
"Hol' on sugarcube we'rea comin'!" Applejack said as she got ready to leap and attack the monster that attacked Sunset.
"Told tight Shims we got your back!" Rainbow got ready to shoot off and help her friend her loyal nature kicking instantly
"Fret not darlin' we're coming!" Rarity said as she prepared to attack
"Your gonna pay for this! C'mon girls let-" Starlight started as she too prepared to help Sunset
"Sorry bitches but Cree doesn't like to share...So...Fuck...OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!"
Howled Ballad Fury and a wave of black and green energy blasted out and blew the girls back and sent them sprawling in different directions screaming in pain as the sound of her voice was incredibly grating, it felt like their eardrums were being stabbed with pins and needles and there bones being grated.
"You bitches get to have a little play time with me! It's show time!" she hissed with an evil scowl as she opened up her cloak and revealed her skeleton like armor and grabbed at the two scythes laying rested upon her hips attached by chains. The chains wrapping around her wrists with a will of their own as they took on a demonic green purple and inky black glow and the handles appeared to have triggers on them and the blades of the scythes covered in magic markings in the sides and tips appeared to have a set of gun barrels. One scythe began to emit lightning of a greenish black hue and the other emitting a purple and black glow. "Time to rip things up Malefic Duet " The skulls on the ends of the scythes moaned and hissed in agreement.
"A'lright this little varmints askin' fer it!" Applejack roared as she got up her golden yellow hair seeming to glow brighter as she got angry.
"Aw ya mad hayseed?" Teased Ballad
"Less talk more fight!" Rainbow roared and using her knowledge of how her powers worked so far and summoned out her personal weapon. a custom broad sword with a motorcycle like revving device on the handle with a throttle just below the blade. The blade was emblazoned with her cutie mark on the hilt and across the side of the blade and when Rainbow revved it it crackled with rainbow color lightning from the exhaust ports in the back part of the blade. "Let's rock Aurora Storm " She'd named her weapon and dashed at top speed at Ballad after dragging the blade across the floor ripping it up and reeving the handle making the lightning more apparent on the blade.
"SPECTRAL STREAM!" Rainbow shouted, this is how it was done in anime and power ponies comics and she'd always dreamed of this and would be dammed if she didn't live out her fantasy to the fullest even if they were getting their butts kicked at first. The stream lashed out at Ballad and she brought her weapons up the block and tank the attack but what didn't hit her that went behind her sliced up all the trees making them fall behind her.
"Go Dashie Go!" Pinkie bellowed
"C'mon bitches! Let's play!" Ballad roared as the demonic grunts that she and her sisters summoned moaning and roaring in agreement lunging forward to attack and she then looked to her sister Melody. "I'll take gay pride, the hick and the primadonna-"
"HEY!" The three girls shouted in anger.
"-And I'll wimp one, wimp two and the geek with the dragon....ooooh yeah and you two little miss smiles! I can't wait to wipe that big dumb grin off your stupid little face and laugh at you while you die!" Melody giggled evilly
"HEY!" The girls and dragon hissed. Rainbow and Ballad had gone back to their clashing at this point.
"Don't worry it'll be fun! We can break your necks and all your bones and you can beg for mercy and I'll be all like nopey dopey! And I'll beat you more and more and more and more and more!!!! hehehehehhhehehe" Cackled Melody.
"Oh yeah ya big meanies?! We'll then lets get this party started!!" Pinkie shouted seriously but remained smiling and summoned up her weapon now which was basically her party cannon but compressed and modified to look like a grenade launcher and she bounced into the air spun around and did a series of back flips and the weapon morphed into a hammer that was chrome pink and blue with her cutie mark on it.
"Make some noise Party Crasher!"
Pinkie sang out and pulling the trigger as she came spinning down she looked like a giant spinning ball of death as she coated herself in a glowing pink aura and she brought the hammer down on the ground near a bunch of the grunts killing them all in a big pink explosion of confetti and streamers and glitter. "C'mon girls!" Pinkie encouraged.
"Time ta get this here show on the road!" The markings on applejack's hands and legs would light up and her weapons would come into light around her arms and legs in the form of gold gauntlets and leg bracers with boots with her apple cutie mark on them.
"Me n The Lone Stars are bouta put ya'll inna world a hurt! Git on ya'll! Yeeeeeeeeeahw!"
Applejack said jumping into the fray and attacking the grunts and every punch and kick her threw in expert succession fired off a burst of orange magical energy that blasted away anything that got hit by it and and Applejack was putting in the work with her hands with rapid punches and using the recoil of her shots to propel herself into enemies so she could move around faster since she didn't have Dash or Pinkie's super sonic speed trait but she did have super human strength and durability and was the one out of everyone who could tank the most damage aside from Fluttershy who was more of a healer.
"You hurt our friends...I won't forgive you!"
Fluttershy snapped and summoned her weapon which was a yellow and pink thick bow that had no string but a pull handle and had her cutie mark on the center piece and when she grabbed it the cutie mark expanded and she grabbed the handle, pulled back and the bow charged with energy.
"Fly true Maelstrom!"
Using her stare the grunts froze in place and she released the handle and from the barrel on the front of her cutie mark butterflies shot out and they turned into small wind like arrow heads of a pink and yellow hue and they swept threw the grunt whipping them up in a large vacuum and slicing them to bits, the few that remained on the ground tried to attack Fluttershy but then suddenly behind her a giant ethereal bear with a star on its head attacked the grunts sweeping them out of the way and even eating some of them. Fluttershy pet the giant beast and it lovingly accepted it. Her special ability was the power to summon ethereal beast constructs to aid her in battle, the Ursa Minor being one of the weaker ones.
"Who's a good Ursa? You are, yes you are..." Fluttershy fawned over the creature.
"Argh I can't wait to kill you too! You're just so sickeningly sweet! I'm gonna looooooove watching you break down and cry when I kill your friends and then make you beg me like a good little girl to kill you and let you join them!" Shouted Melody.
"JUST TRY IT YOU WITCH!" roared Fluttershy as did the Ursa.
"Ooooooh wittle wimpy dimpy fluwwtershy has a back bone now huh? Hahahahahahahhaahha how cute she thinks shes tough! It'll just make it all the better when all hope gets taken from you! Here, I'll help you along!" She shouted as she grabbed the axe on her back and the markings on it began to glow a blue and black aura and emitted some mist and fog. "I'm gonna drown you...drown you all in my sorrow...hehehe my Sorrowful Aria that is...she's gonna make you all cry....cry and drown in your pitiful sorrow! And I'll laugh as she struggle for your last breathes!" She twirled the axe around and brought it up with the side of it that bore a blue gem.
"Get set to get wet bitches!" Ballad roared knowing what her sister was about to do and after stomping her heel into the ground to rise herself up on a platform after kicking Rainbow away from her.
"Like my sorrow...Rage!" She slammed the axe into the ground causing an earthquake and then a massive torrent of water shot out from the axe and flooded the entire area.
"Oh boy..." Starlight's eyes widened and she hopped on spikes back and he flew up, Fluttershy flew up and so did Rainbow and Pinkie and Applejack jumps into the air and keeps herself airborne by kicking the air, Applejack with her weapon and Pinkie just rapidly kicking the air to stay levitated and Twilight using her wings to fly.
"Guess that's my cue..."
Rarity said as she summoned her weapon which was a rapier with her three cut diamonds for her cutie mark encased in a cylinder in the center piece, gripping the blade it'd get coated in her blue aura and crystals would form around the blade and she'd stab the ground.
"Allow me to show you the elegance of my dear companion Crystal Allure...freeze!"
Rarity shouted as she plunged the sword into the ground and froze the flood that Melody made and all the grunts into a sheet of ice and jumped up and used her magical ability to creature crystal ice skates on her feet. That was Rarity's ability, the power to create crystal constructs that were near indestructible and the possibilities were limited only by her imagination as well as control over the element of ice and could take on elemental attributes of her friends and accordingly her costume would change color and style in accordance to hat element to keep in tune with Rarity's fashion sense. and so at the moment her dress and armor looked like something out of Frozen.
"Nice job Rares!"
"Good on ya Marshmallow!"
"Good one Rari!"
"Awesome quick thinking!"
"Great job Rarity!"
"Awww look the prissy cheerleader has a cheer squad...blech!" Melody pretended to gag.
"You know what? I've had just about enough of your mouth!" Starlight roared
"Agreed!" Twilight bellowed and the two summoned their weapons.
Twilight bore a staff that bore her cutie mark in the center and it looked to open up in the center by splitting down the middle and the bottom part of the staff had a spear head.
Starlight bore a broad sword that she quickly transformed into a scythe of her own, the blade of the scythe looking much like how her cutie mark looked.
"Ooooh now things are getting fun! Now everyone has toys! Say do you think Cree killed that bitch suntan yet?"
"It's Sunset! And your 'Cree' won't be killing anyone! Much less my Sunny!" roared Twilight as the magic in her artificial horn began to radiate with her anger and all Ballad and Melody could do is laugh.
"Hahahhahahahah by the time Cree is done with her?! Ha! That bitch will be begging for death like a cum slut begs for a fresh load of spunk to the face!" Ballad snapped
"For realsies! Cree just looooooves to play with her food and she's had her eye on your sweet sweet Sunny for awhile now...eheheh i still remember all the nights she was stirring her honey pot moaning that little ponies name wishing she could have her but lo and behold sooooooomething got in the way-" She narrowed her eyes at Twilight.
"Me?" Twilight asked
"No shit Sherlock!" Melody quipped and spat. "So we're gonna do momma Cree a favor and soften you up for when she's ready to play with you both...trust me when I say she's quite the experience to have..." She licked her lips deviously.
"Your not gonna lay a hand on either of them!" Starlight snapped getting in front of Twilight and brandishing her scythe.
"Aw trying to protect your 'friends?' Or...Maybe you've got a little school-girl crush huh?" Melody teased with a sinister and gleeful sneer. "Got a thing for dorks in glasses huh? Hahahah how cute!"
Starlight blushed at her implications and tried her best to deny them even though she was right; she did have a small school girl crush on Twilight and Sunset but that was none of her business!
"Fuck you! They're my friends, all of them! I'll protect them from monsters like you with my magic! So let's go!"
"Please by the time everything is said and done your friendship won't be jack shit..." Ballad spat as she continued to scrap with ease with Rainbow Dash and Applejack while prancing along the ice.
"Totally; when master sucks up all that delicious light you'll just be begging and pleaded for us to kill you"
"You think you can do it?" Starlight started
"Try us!" Twilight shouted as the two flew in toward Ballad
"Let's play some more girls!"
"Yeah! This is only the first dance, make it worth our while!"

To Turn the Tide, Turn up the Volume
“Yes little pony yes! Keep dancing!!!! Keep entertaining me!”
Hissed Crescendo as she kept Sunset’ at a distance by using Wailing Cadence in its whip form constantly lashing and whipping at the air and ground around Sunset forcing her to have to dodge or block with her sword. The large lashes of her blade left in the ground and trees as the two battled upon the hills of Canterlot Park.
Crescendo whipped the blade at Sunset again and again attempting to catch her off guard however Sunset proved to be quite agile in using both her foot speed and her wings to evade Crescendo’s barrage of attacks however she was finding it difficult to get in any attacks of her own because she couldn’t get close to the Banshee without that ear murdering wail of her sheath constantly keeping her from getting in close enough to do any actual damage.
‘Dammit this isn’t working…and I’m running low on magic…if this keeps up I’m as good as dead and that could only mean the other girls aren’t fairing nearly as well having to deal with those two…’
She thought to herself trying to use her fast thinking to find a solution to her problem. In truth while Sunset knew elemental combat spells all in the realm of fire and energy she’d never gotten a real chance to flex her battle skills while learning under Celestia nor did she ever get a chance to learn how to defend against black magic of this caliber since Celestia always forbid her from going into the dark magic wing of the royal library.
It didn’t make any sense! Her power had been overflowing intensely along with the others before the Banshee showed up and while she knew her harmony magic would drain out over time forcing her to have to recharge it wasn’t supposed to be draining this fast and even then she felt weaker in her new form, as if she was out of sync with herself and her powers and she wasn’t unleashing her full power. Were the Banshee casting some sort of dampening spell?
"Wait a second..."
Looking back on the events since the Banshee arrived she remembered them screaming at them to surprise them, their introduction and then Crescendo put up this barrier to keep outside forces out. The realization finally hit her as she dodged the whip again causing it to peg into a tree and she gracefully landed on one of the blades with the tip of her golden booted foot and jumped high into the air and using her wings she got up high enough and her theory was confirmed as she flew back down to cease the intense screeching and then looked down at Crescendo who was absorbing a red mist through the gem embedded in her neck.
“I finally understand…”
“So at last you get it little pony? Hmph…took you long enough” Cresendo said with a haughty grin as she retracted her whip into its blade form and slugged it over one shoulder as she realized that Sunset had discovered what she’d done.
“This barrier; it runs on the same magic you do and the long it stays up, the more our magic gets drained through a magical sound wave barrier that produces a song of your choosing not only to throw us off…but to DE harmonize us!” Sunset snapped as she felt her magic weakening still glaring hatefully at Crescendo who simply threw her head back and laughed, her sinisterly bubbly laughter echoing loud enough for her to hear even while flying through the air.
“Very good little pony! You always were the clever one weren’t you? Indeed, the more you fight…the more your precious harmony slips away…ordinarily this barrier would cause mass rage and discord between you fools but your light is strong so we have to beat you down first…which is fine by me!” Crescendo snapped as a pair of black devilish wings sprouted from the back of her outfit and she shot into the air after Sunset.
“Thanks fat mouth you just gave me an idea how to turn the tables!” Sunset gripped her sword and raised it to the sky and channeled as much of her energy as she needed and the blade radiated a bright yellow and Sunset closed her eyes.
“SOLAR FLASH!”
A beam of light burst from the blade and blinded Cresendo and made her hiss in pain and snarl at Sunset as the intense light sheered and burned her and her wings causing her to recoil and when she got the stars out of her eyes Sunset was taking off towards her friends and her sisters.
“Tricky little pony! This is more fun! A game of tag hm? YOU’RE ON! READY OR NOT HERE COMES CREE!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!”
She shouted as she shot after Sunset who flew at breakneck speed with a trail of fire behind her. As she came over the next hillside she found her friends doing battle with Melody and Ballad having already made quick work of the grunts they’d summoned. Twilight and Starlight were trying to combo attack Ballad whom was blocking and deflecting their attacks with her hellish skeleton dual scythes that doubled as high powered demonic pistols and she even had the afterimage of a grim reaper appear at her side to dish out even more attacks and even protect her when need be.
Meanwhile Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie & Rarity were doing their best to tag down Melody but she gracefully skated around them and using the jet system in her cybernetic like suit she managed to catch them with a variant of surprise attacks like hidden explosive charges and lasers from her hands and chest and her massive axe made it easy for her to block their weapons and its manipulation over ice helped too. Spike in his dragon form was doing his best to shoot fire at the pair of Banshee and protect the stage where Vinyl Scratch was hiding out since she couldn’t escape the barrier but she was exactly the person she needed right now to help them out of this mess.
“Girls!” Sunset shouted to her friends as she joined the fight helping Twilight and Starlight get in a few strikes on Ballad forcing the banshee to jump back.
“Sunny! You ok?!” Twilight asked with heartfelt concern.
“I’m fine Sparky but we’ve got a problem…this barrier is de-harmonizing us!” Sunset said as she put up a small barrier around them along with Twilight and Starlight by combining their magic, luckily she’d asked Shining Armor to lend his powerful shield magic to the matrix otherwise Ballad probably would have busted through it already.
“What?! How is that possible!?” Starlight asked in shock
“It’s a part of musical spell, much more powerful than the one they usually use, they may have changed their names and looks but deep down they are still sirens…and theres only one way to fight sirens…”
“How? Twilight asked”
“With music of course! I forgot you weren’t here for the battle of the bands but I know what we’ve gotta do…can you hold them off? I need to get to Vinyl…time to pump up the volume on our own song for this party…” Sunset said as she opened up the barrier enough for her to get out and make a Beeline for her other friends.
“Good to see your alive Sunset! We could really use your help here!” Rainbow said as she jumped back floating in the air, her wounds healing slowly as she panted in exhaustion. “We’re startin’ to fade here…”
“Don’t worry Dash, I’ve got a plan to-oh shit!”
“Miss me little pony?!” Cresendo hissed as she shot off a sonic scream down at Sunset and the other girls which Sunset tried her best to block with a magical barrier which was helpfully reinforced by Rarity and her magic glyphs.
"I've got your back darling, Pinkie be a dear and handle this heathen!" Rarity shouted
As the barrier held Pinkie ducked and rolled to a new position and turned her hammer back into its grenade launcher form and pumped the handle a few times and target locked on Crescendo. The cylinders in the chamber having switched to ‘Firecracker’
“HAVE A BLAST!” Pinkie shouted as she fired off a grenade that split into smaller ones and they surrounded Crescendo flickered and then exploded in a flurry of confetti and streamers that caused the banshee to howl and shriek as she was then also wrapped up in said streamers and Pinkie laughed.
“Haha all wrapped up nice like a present! Go Sunny! We’ve got this!” Pinkie shouted to Sunset.
Sunset made her way to the stage where Vinyl Scratch was hiding in her compact DJ booth transforming car and seemed to be tinkering with it even in the heat of everything going on and she noticed Sunset.
“Sunset c’mere quick I think I know a way I can help!”
“Me too, how loud can the speakers of your car get?” Sunset asked putting up a shield so they could speak without fear of ambush.
“Loud enough to shake this entire park on a full tank but its batteries are low after we harmonized you, I’ve been trying to divert all extra power to the primary speakers, and this barrier is messing with your grooves big time!”
“I know, it’s draining our magic and taking us out of harmony with each other, we need to resync and fast otherwise this is gonna get real ugly…”
“I’m gonna need Pinkie for this one; she’s the only one with enough exceess energy to pump these to the volume I-“
“You rang?!” Pinkie appeared out of nowhere in typical Pinkie fashion which at this point didn’t surprise Vinyl or Sunset
“Right on cue” they both said.
“Pinks I need you to power up my car with your magic, time to pump this party up the 11…” Vinyl pushed up her shades with a grin.
“Righty-o Scatchy!” Pinkie hopped on top of the car and channeled her magic into it and made it transform into a larger more futuristic high tech version of itself with even more neon lights and ports along the entire thing and Sunset would call out to her friends.
“Girls! Regroup! It’s time to really get this party pumping!”
“Right!”
The girls all regrouped to the stage and the three banshee regrouped together as well, Ballad slicing Crescendo free of her bindings since they only grew tighter the more she struggled.
“Rah these little pests are beginning to test my nerves!” Crescendo hissed.
“Yeah you bitches are really startin’ to urk me!”
“Ditto to that sis! You little cunts are gonna be BEGGING to let us kill you once we get our hands on you!”
“Pft we’ll see about that…time to pump up the party!” Vinyl said with a grin as she turned her transforming car towards the banshee as the Rainbooms stood in front of it, the large subwoofers towering over them. Crescendo, Ballad and Melody all looked at the device and rolled their eyes and scoffed.
“The fuck is that thing?” Ballad sneered
“Looks like big ass subwoofer out of a cheap sci-fi movie to me…”
“And just what do you plan on doing with that…whatever that is?”
“Oh this? Oh it’s nothin’ special…” Vinyl cracked a smirk as she’d been dying to actually use this function of her car since she’d had it installed but it wasn’t exactly street legal to have a giant cannon in your car but at this point she was REALLY glad Pinkie gave her the idea for this.
“JUST MY BASS CANNON!!!”
Vinyl slammed her fist on a large red button and the woofers grew in size and then extended outward looking like the barrels of cannons as they filled with a sparkling energy that was a variant of different colors and the woofers shook and vibrated for the beat to drop and when it did as Vinyl smashed the button a massive sound wave of magical energy blasted forward from the barrels sending the Banshee flying back crashing through the trees and the barrier was now changing colors more befitting of the Rainboom’s and Vinyl Scratches style and a new song played through the sound waves and the girls began to feel reenergized as their amulets lit up and they began to heal much faster, especially Fluttershy whom after fully healing cast a spell that healed the others in a quicker fashion as well. Feeling empowered again the girls looked to one another as the catchy and rather heroic music played around them as if calling them in to battle and this time the tables were turned because now the Rainbooms would be able to fight at full strength. Grinning Sunset would pound a determined fist into her palm.
“Well girls I think it’s about time we show these Banshee’s how to Rainbow rocks…You with me?!”
“LET’S ROCK!!” The girls shouted in unison as they barred their weapons, the Banshee having now come back into the line of sight obviously angry and ready for a fight.
“Looks like we may have underestimated you little brats…that’s good…I was beginning to think this was too easy!” snapped Crescendo.
“Now you bitches are making this interesting!” Ballad sneered
“You struggling will only make it more fun when we finally kill all of you!” Giggled Melody.
“Oh yeah?! Well let’s have another dance and see who’s the last one standing!” Rainbow shouted.
“Your funeral…” the banshee said in unison

"PINKIE!" The rainbooms shouted
"But it's been so loooooooong!" Pinkie whined and pranced in place flailing her arms childishly with a pout
"Darling do calm down, I'm sure Sunset will be right along; her last message said they'd just finished the whole um...what was it again Twilight?"
"The harmonizing process...or at least the first step of it anyway..."
"Theres more?" Rainbow asked raising any eyebrow as she tuned her newest guitar.
"Mh-hm; Sunset and her Equestrian friends channeling their pure magic in their world was the first step and now that she has the amulets, she need only bring them back here so we can fully stableize and sync them to our own magical fields so they can cross sync across the dimensional gateway...you see..."
"Okay Twi no need to get all eggheady on me..."
"Hey, her being eggheady is cute thank you very much..." Sunset's voice rang from the ether
"Epp!" Fluttershy yelped in surprise. "W-Who said that?"
"What in the hay?" Applejack said in confusion
"What in the world?" Rarity wondered looking around
"Huzzawhuh? Where? What?" Rainbow said in a small panic.
"See there she is..." Twilight said with a happy smile knowing what was coming next.
A red and yellow sphere appeared in the room and slowly formed into Sunset's cutie mark and she materialized out of it. Now fully dressed and back in the human world Sunset greeted her friends. She herself had undergone a little bit of a woredrobe change again but not by much, she'd saved up her money for a brand new jacket and with a few alternations from Rarity it'd become a stunning red and yellow jacket with a phoenix on the back with the words 'Sunset' sown into the wings, her jeans were navy blue with gold flames along the sides of her legs, a pair of sneakers adorned her feet, her shirt was sparkly like and was faded into the colors of the sunset and around her neck was a necklace that bore her cutie mark and around her ring finger was a ring that looked very similar to Twilight's cutie mark. Smiling brightly at her friends Twilight would react to her first the only way the bookworm knew how beating Pinkie to the punch....or pounce in this case.
"SUNNY!" Twilight said jumping at her girlfriend before Pinkie pie and Sunset caught her, twirled her around and planted a smooch on the adorable geeks purple cheek gaining a delightful squeak and goofy smile from Twilight. "Eheheh...I missed those" She bashfully fiddled with her bangs and blushed her signature tint of pink.
"Aww I missed you too Twi hehehe but I wasn't too far from you ya'know..." Sunset said with a teasing grin
"Oh ha-ha...enjoy looking at alternate princess me's butt too I bet..." Twilight said sarcastically turning her nose up indignantly with a hrumph.
"Can you blame me for staring?" Sunset said with a husky giggle as she smacked Twilight on her tight jean clad ass. 'Mmmpfh I am SO glad I got her those pants one size too small...hehe genius shimmer' she thought to herself. "That ass just WON'T quit...and I don't want it too..."
"Oh get a room!" Rainbow said turning away from the mushy display.
"Oh like you always get a room with-" Sunset gave a smirk and began to say and instantly saw Rainbow's face turn pink with embarrassment and Applejack coughed into her hand to clear the air.
"A'lright ya'll let's just git down ta business 'for things get too raunchy in here eh?" Applejack said standing between Rainbow and Sunset
"I agree...honestly have no of you any manners?" Rarity said sitting on the large piano filing her nails checking them every so often.
"Haha right, right fine I guess we really shouldn't be wasting any time..." Sunset chuckled setting down her back that held their new amulets.
"So? C'mon! Show us!!!" Pinkie said hopping up and down
"Indeed darling, we're just dying to see these magical marvels!" Rarity remained on the piano but kept her eyes on Sunset
"Yeah c'mon Shims! Don't keep us hangin'!" Rainbow threw up her hands
"I reckon ahm pretty excited to see this super magic stuff too sugarcube" Applejack said grinning as she stood near Sunset
"Ohhh I can't wait to run tests on these!" Twilight exclaimed
"Easy girls easy just let me..." Sunset started to say until Fluttershy cut in.
"Um Sunset...did you always have that necklace?" Fluttershy pointed out.
"Hm? Oh no...this is just my harmonizer...good to know the disguise function works..." Sunset said proudly putting a hand to the necklace in question
"Come again? Your harma-whatsitnow?" Applejack said scratching her head
"Harmonizer; the device that'll allow us to transform remember? Given it might be a little strange if not a suspicious to carrying these big amulets around, there is a spell cast on each that'll make them look like ordinary necklaces and when we need to transform we simply need to will our magic to make it turn into the harmonizer and then just pony-up like we always do but like...times a hundred..." Sunset said still impressed at the power she'd felt before.
"I see, very interesting and convenient design choice darling."
"Thanks Rarity, the other you gave me the idea actual...oh and she wants to know if you can send over some samples of your work so she can compare notes...I have a few of hers for you...not so sure who a pony dress will translate to a human dress but I'm sure you'll figure it out...Oh! and I went to Celestia and convinced her to help us with our um...'money problem' she tossed me a bag of royal gold coins which'll be very valuable here so getting that abandoned old library is gonna be a cake walk now"
"Ha-ha yes!" Twilight fist pumped "Suck it Cinch! No way I was letting crystal prep board convince the city to just take down the golden oaks library...it's a natural history mark! Now that we have the money we can rent it out for new projects! I've already got a bunch of my machines set up and running there too!" Twilight hopped up and down in glee and hugged Sunset. "Oh this is amazing Sunny! Thank you thank you thank you! Mmmmmmmahw!" Twilight planted a big wet kiss on Sunset's cheek and this got a massive blush from the pony girl and she smiled a goofy smiled and twirled the colic of her hair.
"Pft...It's was nothing really..." Sunset said down-casting her eyes embarrassed slightly
"Hardly darling, what you're doing here is simply the most selfless and generous thing you could do for this world." Rarity praised. She was enthralled by the idea of using her newly acquired magical ability to do some actual good in the world, she was a master at making clothes and she was a very generous young lady using her families fortune to better others rather than herself more often than not and she was a young business woman with her own shop in the city. She figured if she could safe guard the world and spread the glory of fashion then why not right?
"I reckon Rare is right Sunset, yer idea ta have us be super heroes is plump crazy I gotta say still but ah'd be lyin' if I said I ain't wanna do it though, after all ahm already lackin' in the 'livin' parents' department so what the hay?" Applejack shrugged, the mention of her parents passing something that didn't bother her to talk about so as long as they weren't being talked down about, they were dead and that was the truth but they were at peace and Applejack was okay with that and if being a hero with the magic she was gifted with was a choice she had to make, she knew they'd want her to do it and of course little Applebloom needed more positive role models and what better than a secret identity as a super hero.
"Totally! Now we can spread smiles and friendship to everyone!! We'll be all like blam, pow, kaboom! Hadoken!!!" Pinkie said making the motions of the sounds and things she was refernecing and somehow actually threw a haodken across the room which no one questioned...it was Pinkie Pie after all. Pinkie was super excited about all of this, she always wanted to be a super hero just like the power ponies from her comic books and the tv show, as a little ittie bittie twinkie Pinkie she'd always wanted to dress up and use her skills to protect people and make people happy and then throw a party celebrating that they beat the bad guys and now thanks to Sunset she'd finally have a chance and she couldn't be more thankful or happy.
"Pinks is right Shims; I mean like for real we should've done this after we beat the dazzlings cause it's obvious that your world kinda well...no offense..."
"I know used yours as a magic hazard dumping zone...our ancestors weren't all the brightest you know and in their defense they didn't do it with ill intent, more often than not they didn't know what world they were sending them too."
"Right but still it's awesome we're finally doin' this though! This is gonna be great!" Rainbow was probably the most estatic out of all the girls, she'd always dreamed of being a super hero and she had all the attributes of a hero; brave, strong, loyal, smart, cunning, clever, good looking, courageous, valiant and now she had magic so why wouldn't become a hero? Destiny was practically begging her too and she'd heed its call and defend her world against any magic scum that dared to try and invade it no matter what.
"And think of all the good we'll be able to do! All the new things we'll be able to learn with this new level magic! Ooooh the possabilities are endless!" Twilight beamed hopping from one foot to the next in glee her glasses flopping on her face.
"So how do they work? Is...Is it um...safe?" Fluttershy questioned from behind her wall of flowing pink hair in her usual meek tone; she really wanted to do good for the world and protect people from meanies and baddies that wished to harm them just like the magical girls in her favorite anime...while she may not have been as gracefully or strong as them or even as brave, she had a pure heart and if anime taught her anything it was pure of heart + magic= unstoppable strength! Fluttershy just wanted to make sure it was safe after all, she didn't want to turn into a raging she demon...was that mean? that sounded mean...I'm sorry.
"Totally 'Shy; you've got nothing to worry about...these a rush of intense power when you first it on and do the transformation for the first time, but we'll need to re-harmonize them with a different song since I sung the first harmonization song with the other girls and Spike and Starlight...."
"Speaking of Spikey wikey where is the little darling?" Rarity chimed looking around for the little purple and green pup.
"Heheh he's hanging out with his 'friend' Ember" Twilight giggled pushing her glasses back up on her face and smiled at the mention of her dog. "We've got Vinyl ready at the stadium, I'll just go pick up Spike and I think Starlight is at work at the magic shop with Trixie and Moon Dancer; they've all been getting along really well lately! Starlight is fitting in so well...I still don't know how you managed to get her to warm up to us so quickly..."
"Heh lets just say I knew things about her she didn't think I knew and I kept history from repeating itself..." Sunset said with a chuckle remembering back to a conversation she had with Twilight and the Starlight Glimmer of Equestria.
Starlight told her that if she ever met her human world self and if she was anything like how Starlight used to be before her reformation then Sunset was told to take every steps possible to ensure she didn't turn out bad; but much to her surprise the human Starlight Glimmer was much like any other high school girl with a life and problems of her own and since she wasn't a direct parallel of Equestria Starlight Glimmer she didn't seem to have the same background entirely. She was really just a shy girl with a passion for knowledge and loved everything about magic, the very thought of it enthralled her, she'd loved it ever since she was a child according to her. So it was only a matter of time when Starlight made friends with Trixie whom had actually become more friendly with the Rainbooms after the battle of the bands, apologizing for her as Rarity put it 'Complete and Utterly Uncouth' behavior during that time. Then things only got better from there over the months as the girls spent time together and got to know one another, each friend taking time on different days to spend with one another so no one felt left out and they'd try and have a slumber party or some kind of get together every weekend.
At a point Twilight's childhood best friend Moon Dancer had transferred to CHS after moving to Canterlot city back from Manehatten where she was going to boarding school. Much to everyone's surprise since it was also a big prediction, Moon Dancer and Trixie were cousins! Trixie hadn't seen Moon Dancer since she was very little and they were both ecstatic when they saw each other again. The three of them, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie Lulamoon & Moon Dancer had formed a very strong friendship over the course of the few months that they'd known each other and were always making new friends every day. Trixie's parents were famous magicians and owned the Starswirl Magic Palace which was the most popular magic shop for miles; they had it all, pranks, gags, props, costumes, tricks,spell books, magic charms. Her father was also an explorer and collector of rare magical items, much to Sunset's surprise this world had more magic than she thought. They also put on magic shows often and the Rainbooms often played shows there which paid really well, Trixie worked there as an assiatant manager, Moon Dancer was on the books and Starlight was head stock girl since she was almost as OCD as Twilight...almost.
Twilight herself worked part-time at the magic shop and did tutoring at CHS as well for extra money since she wasn't boarding at Crystal prep anymore and she was together with Sunset; Sunset was more than happy to let her girlfriend move in with her and Twilight was more than generous enough to use her many connections and funds to help Sunset pay her rent and so much more, something Sunset was very thankful to the bookworm for and now she'd be able to defend the world with her and her friends by her side. A confident smile on her face she'd grab her backpack and slug it on her shoulder.
"C'mon girls let's go get Spike & Starlight and let the rainbow shine."
All the girls gave a nod and followed. Even though they had to wait a little longer they knew with Sunset at the helm that the wait would be well worth it. Going outside into the spring/early summer sun Sunset exhaled a happy sigh as she took in the fresh afternoon air. Looking at the time she read it was 3:50, Starlight got off work at 4. Heading over to her motorcycle, a gold and red phoenix themed Kawasaki Ninja which was generously and highly supped up thanks to her favorite little genius and her own tech adept mind. Rarity went to her car which was a purple and white Audi R8, Applejack to her orange/black Mustang GT with Pinkie riding shotgun, Rainbow Dash had asked Twilight and Sunset to supp up her old skateboard after it'd been through a rough last ride during a skateboarding competition that she won and turned it into a anti-gravity propelled hover-skateboard which Rainbow often used to show off as it also gave off her rainbow coattail. Fluttershy had herself a electric BMW since she wanted a car that was fast, Eco friendly and safe, and Twilight? Twilight had to have the coolest ride which always made Sunset and Rainbow a little(in Rainbow's case A LOT) jealous. It could only be described as an exact replica of the cycle from Tron just more modern a lot more practical and with purple lights instead of blue or red. Twilight was barely able to get it made street legal but after proving it was safe to drive and was 100% Eco friendly(since it ran off her magic but fooled them into thinking it was some other kind of clean energy source) she was only able to keep it on the condition that it was the only one of its kind.
Once everyone was geared up and ready to go they all sped off; Rainbow especially zooming off at top speed yelling.
"RACE YA!" Rainbow yelled as she zipped off on her board, her rainbow coattail left in her wake as she left them in the dust.
"Same old Rainbow..." Sunset chuckled revving her engine and zooming off after her with Twilight close behind.
"We'll take the alternate route and meet ya girls there, we all know we ain't beatin' rainbow there when she's on that thing..." Applejack said with a chuckle as she sped off too.
"Indeed, see you there darlings!"
"Drive safely!" Fluttershy said as best she could.
As they all sped off in different directions(Fluttershy not so much speeding at first but calmly pulling out then driving off and accelerating gradually but much faster than one would think for Fluttershy.) They would tear through the streets of the city each driving toward their general destination . With all the charity work they'd done and all the hard work they do just doing their daily jobs and the generous donations from Equestria the girls were all able to live comfortably and quite lavishly as of late so they saw no reason not to spoil themselves a little and Twilight was more than happy to dedicate her time in using her technological advancement skills to help make things even better. That's why she put so much time into being the bands tech manager and helping with special affects that didn't apply to their magic and making new gadgets and things of that nature for them to make use of and not just for the band but for Trixie and the magic shop too; Twilight's skills with machines and things of that nature were a big help to the Lulamoon's and their magic acts as well as bringing attention to the shop in general. She planned to keep working there part-time through college since she'd decided to attend Canterlot City University with the rest of her friends as their graduation was closing in. Sunset, Twilight, Moon Dancer and Starlight all had the chance to graduate early but they decided not too because they wanted to walk the stage with their friends.
As they road through the streets they'd reach their location in the large shopping center and the large building that looked like a wizards hat with a massive star on top of it stood high. Rainbow of course standing out front waiting with a forced bored face.
"Too slow girls! Ha-ha! Still the fastest girl alive!" Rainbow fist pumped
"Geez stroke it harder why don't you?" Sunset said getting off her bike and putting away her helmet in her backpack.
"Bet that's what you say to Twilight when you two are-" Rainbow started to say until she got a smack upside the head from Applejack "Ow! The fuck AJ?"
"That's nuff outta yer fat mouth sugarcube, quit yer teasin' em..." Applejack said in a stern tone to rainbow poking out her lower lip a bit
"Grrrrr....hmph...fine...killjoy..." Rainbow blushed and grumbled and crossing her arms and turning her nose up.
Sunset smirked and made a motion with her hand that looked like the cracking of a whip and Rarity chuckled and so did Twilight. When the giggling died down and everyone was accounted for she looked at her phone to text Starlight that they were waiting for her. After waiting a couple of minutes Starlight Glimmer exited the building with a smile and waved to greet her friends with Spike in her arms and her blue and larger dog Ember tagging along behind her.
"Hi girls!" she called
"Hi Starlight!" They all shouted
"Hey Sunset! Welcome back" Spike said
"Hey there Spike, enjoying time with you 'friend'" Sunset gave a knowing smile
"Eheheh...you could say that..." Spike chuckled and blushed and Ember did as well turning her nose up, she couldn't talk like spike but her actions all spoke for themselves. she was a very protective dog but had a soft spot for Spike.
"So you ready to go?" Sunset asked
"Yep, Ember be a good girl and go back inside alright? Don't worry Spike will be back..." She smiled and put Ember behind the ears and Ember did her best to look like she didn't care that Spike was leaving but clearly she didn't want to let the little pup go. Giving him a nuzzle and a happy bark she'd canter off back to the shop where she would be let in by Moon Dancer who waved to them all and they waved back. Starlight would turn to her friends and was ready to go, this Starlight Glimmer had a hairstyle more similar to how she wore it was a child but her pigtails weren't as long as her usual ponytail and she wore them in a twin tail fashion with a set of hair clips, black pants with a belt that bore her cutie mark, a dark purple shirt and a small overcoat that also had her cutie mark on it. "So did you do the thing?"
"Yep, the thing is done, we just need to re-harmonize and then we can head over to the library and finally put that new simulator to the test" Sunset affirmed
"Alright cool, I can't believe your letting me join you in this, this is so cool!" Starlight squeed.
"Well c'mon sugarcube hop in with Rarity and we'll git on to the stadium in the park." Applejack said as she and Pinkie loaded into the car.
Starlight as she was told and got in the passenger seat of Rarity's car and buckled her seat belt right away having learned the hard way that Rarity did not like people not buckling their seat belt, she was a nag but a loving nag. Once everyone was properly situated they took off again with Sunset and Twilight leading the way towards the stadium and Rainbow Dash showing a little restraint as she cruised along fast but not too fast but still did tricks to show off as per her nature. After a short ten minute ride they reached the park where Vinyl scratch awaited them, her DJ tables all set up and looking completely teched out as if she'd been to the future or watched too much Tron Legacy. Waving over to the girls as they approached the stage after parking their respective vehicles they'd greet her back.
"Hiya scratchy! Sorry we're late!"
"S'all good pinkster I've been tunin' the tables since I got here anyway and tweaking a few of my rigs, these new light show effects and stuff you gave my car speaker are just off the charts Twi!"
"Ehehe oh it was nothing really...I just added a few extra bells and whistles to your already amazing transforming dubstep mobile...how did you get it again?" She asked quizzically
"I know I guy..." Vinyl waved a dismissive hand and smirked from behind her shades
"Riiiight...anyway we're all here and Sunset has the amulets."
"This is gonna be rad! Totally can't wait to see you guys pull this off! Thanks for lettin' me in on it all."
"We couldn't have done it without you Vinyl, without your music and your ability to perfectly mix and harmonize we'd never have cracked the frequency to be able to create the harmony matrix in the first place! Who'd have thought dubstep would be so helpful..." Twilight said
"Never doubt the wubs...ever..." Vinyl said in a semi serious tone.
"Ehehe right...no offense...I really do like your music though Vinyl..." Twilight poked her fingers together guiltily because when she first heard dubstep from Vinyl she made the mistake of being too critical of just one piece she didn't like and wrote off dubstep as 'digital nonsense' for lack of a better term but then when she finally found a track she liked and realized how deep it all was she apologized to the blue haired DJ. Vinyl was really laid back and chill and surprisingly really smart and so it was her creative ingenuity that helped Twilight and Sunset and Starlight crack the wavelengths and patterns of their harmony magic in a way that allowed them to free manipulate it...it was all really complex stuff but the short version is, wubs and friendship=magic...Twilight hated that she couldn't come up with a more scientific way to explain it but Sunset reminded her not everything needs explanation especially in the realm of magic...Pinkie Pie being a prime example and Twilight learned the hard way not to try and make sense of pinkie and it landed her in the hospital for a week with a twisted ankle which thankfully healed up fast thanks to her magic giving her accelerated healing.
"None taken Sparkles not everyone can get into the feel of the wubs right away just takes the right song...speakin' a songs I got the PERFECT one for you girls to sing to re-harmonize the amulets."
"Awesome work Vinyl; let's get to it then...this is gonna be something special; and we've got the place alone right?" Sunset asked
"Yep I got Principal Celestia to let us rent it for the day so we're good."
"Cool, don't wanna attract too much attention...alright girls gather round." Sunset called to the other girls who came into a circle as Sunset slipped her backpack off her back and held it in her hand and then put a hand to her necklace and it began to glow a golden light and then transformed into her harmonizer and the girls looked on in amazement as Sunset then began to freely levitate the bag in a teal glow similar to her aura in Equestria. From the bag she took out the remaining eight necklaces; seven for the other girls and one for spike. Each one adorned with their cutie marks and spike's crest of the dragon.
"Wicked" Vinyl said in a mellow tone
"Amazing..." Rarity said
"Wow" gasp Fluttershy "They're pretty"
"Awesome! We get telekinesis!?" Starlight squeed
"This is gonna rock!" Rainbow fist pumped
"Well I'll be..." Applejack tipped her stetson.
"The designs have held up well and I can just feel the magic coming off them!" Twilight mentioned
"C'mon what're we waitn' for girls?! Let's pony up!!" Pinkie cheered.
"Guess we've waited long enough." She focused and flew each necklace to the girls necks and put them in place and then levitated her guitar o over into her hands. It was red and faded with orange and yellow taking after her namesake. The other girls took their positons, Applejack on the bass, Rainbow on the Electric Guitar, Rarity on the keytar, Pinkie on the drums, Fluttershy on the tambourine, Twilight as lead singer and Starlight on the flute...she played it surprisingly well and also helped with back-up vocals. Spike was in the middle of everything and Vinyl had set up special microphones for each of them in their designated spots.
"Alright girls these mics will translate your voices into the same harmonic wavelength as the amulets, they'll need time to absorb the magic, channel it and stabilize and lock into you, this way no one else can use them but you and they response to your voice and your voice only...pretty since fail safe."
"Why thank you" Sunset mentioned with a grin and looked to her friends with a happy smile and then looked up to the sky to see the bright shinning sun, clear blue skies and far in the distance the moon. Her smile turned to a grin as she turned to her friends and Vinyl who returned to her table. "Ready girls?"
"What was that command spell again?" Rarity asked
"Shine, Light, Shine...Friendship Harmonize." Sunset said reciting the spell. "We need to recite the spell together before the song and activate the amulets...well, you all do...mine is pretty charged already so once we reach a certain point in the song i'll pony-up to complete everything."
"Alright then...well...here we go...Ready girls?" Twilight asked and all the girls gave an affirming nod and Spike barked in approval. They all stood in formation from left to right it was Rarity, Starlight, Pinkie, Sunset, Twilight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash & Applejack with Spike sitting right beneath Twilight and Pinkie was in the back at her drumset which seemed to have gotten an upgrade as well looking almost like a set of speakers. As they all took their stances and held their instruments they'd speak the command spell in unison
"SHINE LIGHT SHINE...FRIENDSHIP HARMONIZE!" They all activated the amulets and they began to shimmer and glow collecting the magic inside them and charging up slowly but sure and with that Pinkie twirled her drumsticks and clacked them together as she felt a rush of power and an overwhelming sense of joy overcome her as her magic began to manifest and the song hadn't even started yet, her sheer happiness was simply bringing forth the power of her element and it showed.
"1 2 3 4! HIT IT GIRLS! " Pinkie shouted as she began to pound the drums rapidly and in perfect harmony not missing a single beat to start off the song and Rarity instantly got her cue as her fingers flailed across her Keytar with grace and fluidity never before seen in the fashionista. Sunset, Rainbow and Applejack quickly joined in when it was their time and Rainbow and Sunset wailed on their guitars in a way only ever seen by rock stars from the golden ages of the 60's and 70's. Starlight & Fluttershy did their part to keep up, adding their instruments melody to the mix and once the song reached its beginning climax where the lyrics came in, Rainbow Dash started things off and Twilight would follow up soon after then followed by Starlight; they each switched singing roles perfectly with one another and their rocking melody was mixed in perfect crescendo. Their pony hair and wings and ears appearing almost instantly as the song hyped up.

It was at this point Sunset activated her amulet using her magic and a golden and red glow enveloped her again like it did back in Equestria and as the song continued to hype up the amulets filled up rather quickly and the girls all looked to each other knowing it was time. Concentrating as they continued to sing the amulets were gripped in a magic aura belonging to each of the girls. Sunset(red) Twilight(violet) Rarity(white) Pinkie(Pinkie) Fluttershy(Yellow) Applejack(Orange) Rainbow Dash(light blue) Starlight Glimmer(Green) Spike(light green).

The amulets exploded with light and their cutie marks all holographically appeared from the center pieces of the amulets like Sunset's did in Equestria and each girl was caught in a massive pillar of light that was their own color and they all mixed together to form a rainbow similar to how it happened during the battle of the bands. Within each pillar of light each girl took on their armor as it materialized bit by bit as their clothes left them, none of them even seemed to care that for a few short moments they were completely naked but the light was so blinding no one could see them. The magic warped them, changed them in order to make them stronger, they'd grown a couple of inches and their bodies...matured in ways. Girls that were flat or lacking(rainbow and rarity) weren't anymore and the girls who already had something to work with had even more. They also took on regal dress like armor looking very similar to midnight sparkle's attire but more armor like instead of fabric but it felt like a second skin and was highly flexiable. Each girls armor was colored specifically to them and each of their core themes shined through each, Applejack's armor keeping her stetson for example. The biggest difference was that while their hair grew longer it didn't stand on end super sayain style but flowed naturally...except in Rainbow's case who had SSJ 3 hair and Rarity who had similar hair but with diamonds in it

It was at this point Spike felt a growing power inside him from the collar he was given, he felt hot...a fire in his core. He growled and his eyes turned to slits as the crest began to shimmer brighter and then coated him in a light green and purple light and it exploded outward and he turned into a massive armored fire breathing dragon with chrome black and green armor. The girls continued to sing despite their surprise.

As the song came to its end and all their magic had finally stabilized and collected together perfectly, the girls landed back down on the stage still in their transformed states and each girl was taking time to gush and fawn over their new appearances. Pinkie was a bit upset at first that she didn't have wings but then quickly learned she was a lot faster on her feet and Rainbow was the fastest in the air still. Spike himself was enthralled with himself as the once small pup was now a towering dragon with wings armor and all.
"This is...awesome!!!! I feel so...so...Powerful! I feel like we could take on the whole damn world!"
"I seriously feel a great swell of pity for the poor unfortunate soul who comes to this world or our town looking for trouble now." Sunset said with a grin as she looked out onto the sun.
[The Everfree Forest: Sombra Manor,the Crystal Mines]
A rainbow light blasted into the cosmos and shook the skies and the earth and could be seen all the way from the deepest parts of the Everfree forest and deep within the rocky mountains lay what appeared to be a ruined castle
"The light...." Wheezed a dark and gravely voice from the shadows of the crystal caves from what appeared to be a throne and the rattling of chains could be heard and then a wheezing groan. "The Light..." The figure opened its eyes of piercing eyes and hissed "Must...Kill...Kill the light...kill it...with darkness...the darkness....yeeeeees" The figured cackled sinisterly and coughed. "Soon light...Soon...Darkness shall kill you...and kill you dead...ehhhehe hehhehehehehe hahahahahhahahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!" The figured cackled madly through his violent coughing and wheezing until it settled into a groan. "Need...Pawns...need...more...darkness..." The figure seemed to leak an inky black shadow that had glowing green eyes with purple mist coming off the sides. "Find more darkness...find the light....and bring it to me..." hissed the hooded old figure to the shadow and the shadow scurried out of the cave and into the forest to find an unsuspecting victim(s).
[Elsewhere in the Everfree Forest]
"H-Hello?" Said a slightly frightened Sonata Dusk as she turned around having thought she heard something while she was gathering firewood like Adagio and Aria asked her too. Passing it off as nothing she went back to collecting wood so she could get back home in time for S'mores! But then she heard the ruffling again and gulped. "Please don't be a bear, please don't let it be a bear , please don't let it be a-"
A small white bunny hopped out from the bushes and Sonata sighed in relief.
"Phew, you startled me little guy..."she knelled down to put the furry little creature only to then have it turn into a shadowy hellish nightmare and Sonata couldn't scream in terror fast enough as the shadow consumed her by going into her throat and it felt like it was burning and she couldn't breath. She chocked and gagged putting her hand to her throat as a red glowing sore grew where her magic amulet once rested and her eyes turned black for a moment and then back to normal but her eyes had a green tint to them now as she stood up as if nothing happened and walked back to the barn where she and the other Dazzling's had run away too after the battle of the bands. When she arrived again Aria was the first to approach her and she seemed pretty ticked that she did't have the firewood.
"The Fuck Sonata? We told you to get firewood..." Aria bellowed
Sonata stood there and looked at her and blinked
"What? Too retarded to speak now taco breath?" Aria snapped, she hated when Sonata ignored her.
Sontata continued not to answer the middle child siren.
"Answer me you fucking twerp-" Aria was suddenly cut off by a deep passionate and almost angry kiss from Sonata and in her shock she didn't even notice the shadow leaking into her body and Sonata kept the kiss going long enough for the same red mark to appear on Aria's neck like she had on hers. When she broke away Aria was silent and they both walked into the barn to find Adagio who was in the kitchen prepping dinner.
"You're both late...did you get firewood this time Sonata?" Adagio asked with her back turned
Neither of them answered and simply closed the door to the barn and locked it and closed the blinds and killed all the lights.
"Um...what are you two do-"
"Darkness..." Aria spoke in a monotone voice with her eyes turned pitch black.
"What the fu-" Adagio said startled and turned to her sisters.
"Unleash the darkness..." Sontata hissed; her eyes black as well in monotone as they walked toward Adagio who had knife in her hand from cutting meat.
"Embrace the darkness!" Aria hissed as they neared closer and knocked Adagio over and backed her into a corner and a red mist escaped Adagio's body and entered the sores on their throats as they fed on her fear.
"G-Girls...whatever this is...i-it isn't funny!" Adagio said backing away prepared to stab them as the two sirens advanced on her but they easily disarmed her and forced her to the ground their eyes black as pitch as they both spoke in demonic tones and held her down by the arms roughly.
"N-No! Aria! So-Sonata! Snap out of-" Adagio shrieked in panic and sheer terror
"YOU CANT...LOCK UP...THE DARKNESS!" They said in unison and opened their mouths to show a inky black and greenish like energy and they screamed at Adagio like banshee's and she in turn screamed just the same.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Adagio's Aria's and Sonata's screams howled through the barn as they all turned to embrace the darkness and in the distance the mad laughter of an evil reborn rang through the Everfree forest.
