Sweetie Belle's Been Abducted
Missing
Load Full StoryNext ChapterIt was getting extremely late. Her sister was nowhere to be seen and it was starting to make Rarity worry that she was deleted somewhere. What she couldn't know was that something much more sinister was developing right under her nose. As sophisticated as she was, she had a hard time organizing her thoughts properly. Of course, that's why she relied on Applejack so much as of late. Aj wasn't just a hard-working mare, she was thoughtful and organized and that helped Rarity get through a lot of rough spots.
She wanted to tell Applejack that she may have developed certain feelings for the mare. She decided against it since her own parents werent exactly keen on those kinds of " relationships". After seeing how Lyra and Bon Bon acted around each other she started to wonder if AJ might see her the same way. While thinking about that Rarity noticed that Sweetie was still late coming home. HEr and her friends were always going on "adventures" as they called them.
The only adventures she had gone on were with her friends, or Spike when they'd go gem hunting together.
She levitated her clock over to where she was sitting and stared at it for a while before looking towards the door once again. If Aj were here right now she'd tell her to stop worrying so much and just be patient. But that was the real problem now. It had been three hours since Sweetie Belle had left and she still hadn't shown up or even called to tell Rarity that she'd be late getting home.
Rarity was overprotective of her little sister all the time. Even when she was hanging out with her friends Scootaloo and Applebloom. She checked her clock one more time before sitting down on her sofa. She could feel a certain question creeping into her mind.
"I wonder what's taking Sweetie so long," Rarity thought to herself. She tried to keep her mind occupied until her sister got home. She worried about her sister more than she should have. That's what she kept telling herself as she organized her sewing supplies. She had several orders to fill this week and Sweetie Belle was going to help her get her orders finished. Rarity was so proud of her. Not only was she improving in her own seamstress skills, Sweetie was also showing just how good she was with helping around the shop. Rarity was so proud of her little sister. Their bond as of late had been getting stronger and they both knew it.
Her sister was also proving herself to be a good assistant when Spike wasn't around. The other night the mare finally admitted to herself that perhaps she was ready to take her relationship with Spike to the next level. And not only was her feelings towards him getting stronger, she also felt it was time when she had recently seen him carrying around a plushie of her that she realized how smitten the little drake was with her. While all this was taking place, something dark was stirring in one of her own friends.
Rarity never really suspected that one of her own friends could be capable of something so dark. She didn't know about Pinkie's life outside of what she had told her friends. All Rarity knew was that she had grown up on a Rock Farm. What she didn't know was that Pinkie was subjected to psychological abuse at the hooves of one of her aunts. Or the fact that her aunt looked like Pinkie's doppelganger to a degree.
While she was waiting for Sweetie Belle Rarity thought some more on just how she'd reward Spike for all the times he had helped. Her thoughts drifted to a certain mindset. The kind that involved lewd if not raunchy scenarios. She was a bit conflicted though. She wanted to please Spike, but she was also developing emotions for Applejack. She knew that was a closet lesbian, but she still felt the need to have a cock inside her sometimes. And she had developed certain oral skills over the years. The kind that required a long hard staff at times. Her mind was in the gutter right now.
"Tomorrow, I'll have to ' reward' my little Spikey Wikey with some alone time." The fashionista smirked to herself. By Alone time, she meant sucking him off. Her skills in that regard were quite exceptional. He was a lot older then Twilight had realized. he was at least 18 now even if it didn't look like it. But she caught a glimpse of his dragon cock and her face turned crimson. That was the moment she decided that she wanted it stuffed inside of her flank.
Another hour passed and Rarity decided to get in touch with the girls to find out what was taking her little sister so long with coming home. She visited Twilight first to let her know what was going on. Both of them began searching for her little sister. The two mares did everything. Called out Sweetie Belle's name, asked neighbors and still nopony had seen her. It wasn't until the next morning that the news broke. And both of them were stunned at what was being said in the Newspapers and radios. Radios had just been released to the public after Celestia had deemed them an important addition to Pony life. And it was all thanks to Lyra Heartstrings' research into humans and their culture that the Princess of the Sun had finally allowed their existence to be revealed.
My name is Pinkie Pie....
The Randomness that exudes from Pinkie was always one of those things that made Twilight Sparkle feel like she could come unhinged at any moment, and it was the main reason why she tried to study her party pony friend on more than one occasion. It could also be said that in some circumstances, she was just unprepared for a pony like Pinkie. That was something that she learned to take to heart when they were together. Of course, not all stories are as bright and happy as those ones were, at least not now. Pinkie would live long enough to see herself become the villain. And it would not be a pretty sight, especially after what she had just committed against one of her best friends.
There had always been a certain dichotomy to Pinkie Pie. On the one hoof you had that bright cheery smile she always gave ponies to lift their spirits. On the other hoof there was a darkness inside her that only came out around night time, constantly taunting her and telling to do bad things to her friends. She never listened to that voice for the longest time. After her party for Gummy's birthday, everything had started to change.
More and more she became convinced that her friends only went the party in the end out of pity for her. That voice in her head kept telling her that they were keeping something from her. That they only came here because they felt sorry for her and nothing more. A voice that always been there to be honest. A voice Pinkie realized that belonged to her first imaginary friend.
Why is it that some ponies become famous for being the hero when other times they are the villain of their own story. Pinkamena Diane Pie was not your typical mare. To her friends, she was simply Pinkie Pie, and even then she was a complete and utter mystery to them. She could pop out of nowhere and catch Twilight off guard so many times, and yet the lavender Alicorn was accustom to it now. When she first met Pinkie as a Unicorn, she took it upon herself after they became friends to study the pink pony's random behavior. She came to the conclusion that no matter how hard she studied her friend, it got her nowhere. So she just learned to accept it, despite the obvious.
And then there's the other side of the coin. Pinkie didn't realize until much later in her life that she had two aunts that were completely insane, and that it was just her misfortune that it ran in her blood as well. There was an old adage that her father used to recite to her before going to bed on the Rock Farm, " One mayest be the hero of thine own story, but can soon find they've lived long enough to become the villain,". That was something that Pinkie had always tried to keep out of her life.
After the events that exposed her to the Sonic Rainboom created by a young rainbow maned Pegasus, It was at that part of her life that made her decide to move out. After the sonic rain boom, yet before she got to Ponyville, she would encounter someone that her parents had never spoken to her about, but she'd learn all the grisly and horrid details that her parents had tried to protect her from. There was a constant hum in the air, like bees returning to a hive. But what was making that sound? She'd find out soon enough.
What is that makes some ponies tick? What exactly leads one to commit a crime so heinous that there's no other recourse for them but the darkest of acts? Those that commit some of the most gruesome acts in history most likely have a tragic tale behind them as to why they'd do something of that nature. This was the case for Pinkie Pie, and why she committed the most grisly act in the history of Ponyville, much less Equestria. An act that nearly cost the life of a friend's sister, and much more. A dark chapter from her past had come back to haunt her this night. It also shed light on something clawing inside of her mind. Something that had been asleep inside of her for years due to the help of Princess Celestia, something that urged for the chance to escape and kill again. A tortured being of jealousy and rage, something that was at one time an exact copy of herself, just not as restrained as her. Pinkamena.
"Hello?", Sweetie Belle squeaked.
Silence. Nothing but silence all around her.
Then out of the darkness came the echoing laughter of a certain Pink pony.
This is the tale of what took place that fateful day. And a series of events in the months ahead that no pony would live to forget. A tale of two ponies murderous carnage years before Pinkie Pie left her family farm to move to Ponyville. Something that happened before she becomes an Element Bearer. Something that her friends were unaware of ever happening.
Abduction is the worst fate that can befall a young pony, especially one as gifted as Sweetie Belle. She was the smartest in her class, and the most street smart among her two friends, AppleBloom and Scootaloo. The three fillies comprised the Cutie Mark Crusaders. A group devoted to discovering their cutie marks in any field, but together as friends. There had been many obstacles along the way, and mostly through what seemed like often hilarious antics, but in the end, they had done what they had set out to do the moment the three of them had become friends.
And to think the foal knapper was a pony that was as close to them all as their own families were.
Sweetie Belle was one of the most loved fillies among the residents in Ponyville, and her disappearance hit everypony hard, especially her sister, Rarity. It wasn't until later that her fate was even discovered, a fate she barely escaped from, but only to now be stranded in the clutches of a coma. It had been presumed that a mysterious stallion had abducted her for Celestia's knows not what. The truth, however, would be much more grisly and shed light on the past of a known friend and associate of her sister's. The earth pony known as Pinkie Pie was a mystery, even at times to her own friends. Those five mares that comprised the Elements of Harmony barely knew anything of her past before she came to Ponyville. The only one that knew anything about her was Princess Celestia, and she kept Ms. Pie's confidence years ago as to never tell anyone of it, not even her student Twilight Sparkle, one Pinkie's future friends.
Heheheheehe, didnt you know? Lifes a Party.
They had always attributed her behavior to how random she was known to be. But none of them knew the things she had been forced to do. Of the persona, she had kept locked up in her own mind for years now. None of her friends knew of the entity, the personality of the deranged Pinkamena, that their high energy friend was keeping away from the light of the truth. They didn't know about the twelve ponies that had been butchered in their sleep. Or the fact that Pinkamena had taken parts of their flesh and baked them into cupcakes and other assorted pastries in the insane thought that it would prolong her wretched life. The thing that would bring the most shock into their lives wasn't the fact that Pinkamena had tried to abduct Sweetie Belle, only to leave her victim alive but unconscious. Or that Pinkamena had initiated a relationship with Rainbow Dash while possessing Pinkie's body at night. How sick would that thought have been if Rainbow had found out? That the mare that she was having an affair with, wasn't really her friend but a possessive spirit occupying the same body?
It might have been enough to drive herself insane. To push her own sanity past it's breaking point. Even now she couldn't get the thought of it out of her own head. There were times she thought she smell her nearby, that sickly sweet scent of cotton candy and vanilla iced cupcakes. There were times her mind couldn't process the thoughts that surfaced when she thought about Pinkie Pie. She knew for certain that if Twilight ever found out, they'd both be skewered alive. She loved her, but that mare was not the most stable pony. Rainbow Dash saw first hoof how really that was during the Smarty Pants incident. Twilight had torn apart the entire town when she enchanted her Smarty Pants doll. And all because she had panicked over missing sending a friendship report to Celestia.
There were times Dash could still feel Pinkie's taste on her tongue, even when she was in bed next to Twilight. It broke her up inside that she had even gone through with something like that. If Twilight ever found out, she could have another manic episode like she did with her Smarty Pants doll. That was one event that Rainbow Dash never wanted to hear of, or even remind Twilight of herself. There were some scars that were best left alone so to speak.
And that Rainbow believed that it was Pinkie that was making this overture to her, even though she was in a relationship with Twilight. It was their little secret. They both had known how paranoid and sensitive Twilight could be at different times. Neither did they know that one of Pinkie's distant relatives would try to orchestrate an abduction of their own. Nor the history is hidden between the two mares.
When dark winds blow and foul things creep, only one thing will keep a certain mare from falling asleep. There are worse fates for some more than death. For the night is Dark and Full of Terrors.
Ponyville
a few days before the crime
Why is this pony following me, Sweetie Belle thought to herself. This figure had been stalking her for the last week and a half and she couldn't figure out why, or even what she wanted with a filly like her. It wasnt sex was it, since that would be disgusting, and traumatizing too. She had been following her everywhere. Sweetie could instantly tell from the size and proportion that it was a mare that was doing this to her. She followed her to school, and home. She told her sister about it, to the point Rarity went and got a restraining order against the mare in question. She had told Ponyville authorities that some figure was following her sister everywhere she went and that it was disrupting their schedule.
Rarity could tell that her little sister was more antsy than usual. She tried to pry it out of her but Sweetie still wouldn't talk about it. It wasn't until dinner time that night that her Lil' sister finally revealed what had been bothering her.
"She came by again," Sweetie stared at her food as those words slipped out of her mouth.
"What do .. wait, are you saying that mystery pony was harassing you again?," Rarity had a glint of fire in those majestic sapphire eyes of hers.
"Yes, her..", Sweetie Belle choked out before shoving some hay fries into her muzzle. She knew that Rarity had gotten a restraining order against this 'pony' but it didn't seem to faze them as they kept stalking her. Everything would change for her and Rarity in the next few days. In fact the night after next would even change both their lives. And maybe even bring them closer together.
Every pony wears a mask. Some are just harder to see through than others. The Rest of the Mane Six were on the verge of discovering this and seeing for themselves just how bloody one friends' past truly was. The question later though, would be which of them could stomach telling Rarity the truth about Pinkie when it was all said and done.
Of course, that was if they could track her down. Whatever had taken place the night of the abduction, it had altered her mental state. Not even Twilight was sure if they'd be able to repair that kind of damage.
The Night of the Abduction
Just outside of the Carousel Boutique
Oh, Rarity thought, Where is that sister of mine? That 'sister' of hers was coming home late from Sweet Apple Acres. It was starting to get dark out as Sweetie left the CMC's clubhouse. She closed the door and headed down the ramp. She couldn't wait to get home and spend time with Rarity. She figured they would find something fun to do after they were done with dinner.
Its getting darker out and she still isn't home yet, she thought to herself. It wasn't like her to be so late coming back from Sweet Apple Acres. Somepony would have told her if her sister had planned on staying late. Rarity started to trot towards the door to the entrance of the Boutique when she heard a noise behind her. She turned to see Opal clawing at the velvet drapes that she installed the other day.
"Opal!," she yelled," Bad, bad Opal!," She exasperated scream got through to the white cat enough that Opal dropped to the floor and scampered away.
Before she could even reach the door to the Boutique, Sweetie Belle felt something hard hit her in the back of the head. Everything became dark as she was rendered unconscious. One of Rarity's neighbors thought he had heard something akin to the sound of a thud, but must not have thought much of it, as the pony went back to whatever he had been doing before hearing that vague noise outside.
Rarity opened her front door to an empty street. Her sister was nowhere to be seen in any direction. For a split second she thought she saw the figure of a pony hauling a cart far down the street, she dismissed it as anything to be worried about. Little did she know that she had just seen the pony napper without realizing it.
"Sleep tight," a shrouded figure spoke with a bit a giggle as they put the now unconscious body of Sweetie Belle into the back of the cart they were traveling in.
A feeling of dread began to come over Rarity. She went back outside and looked in the direction of that cart she thought she had seen for a split second. She caught a glimpse of it in time to see it turn around the corner near Sugarcube Corner. She couldn't just chase after it without being entirely sure of what she had seen, so she decided to wait till morning and involve her friends. She got the sinking feeling again that something bad may have happened. Maybe even ... The Worst. Possible... THING.
15 Minutes prior to the Crime
IT was a dark, yet calm evening, as Sweetie was trotting back to her sister's house. She thought about what Rarity was gonna make for dinner as she got closer to their home. She never made it through the front door, let alone had a chance to knock on it. No pony saw her enter their home, much less noticed her anywhere else in Ponyville. Sweetie Belle had been abducted right in front of her sister's porch. After Rarity noticed that her sister had gone missing, she instinctively panicked and called the Ponyville police Department. The Police department consisted of former Royal Guards that had been requested by Princess Twilight to make up its core department of units.
They worked around the clock to find anything that would help them bring her back alive at all costs. Then there was a break in the case. The owner of the local grocery store saw a filly matching her description being forced into the back of a Carriage. Somepony had placed a sack over her head and shoved her into the trunk of it. The owner wrote down the plate number of the carriage in question and gave it to police when they came back to question him some more. The Police ponies traced the carriage to an area just outside of Ponyville, where they also found Sweetie Belle, with a bloody gash to the left temple of her head. It was as if something had struck her in the head with that stave. There were also traces of dark magic around the place of impact.
The plate number came back to the most unlikely of sources. Pinkie Pie. One of the stallions had known though that Pinkie and Rarity were friends and couldn't bring himself to reveal the name to her, only that they might have located something that could lead to her sister. he could tell Rarity was still in shock over Sweeties' absence in her life at the moment. He told her to stay calm and that everything would be sorted out.
Surprisingly she wasn't dead, but she might have been better off that way. The Forensics ponies that arrived did a thorough examination of the Carriage and the surrounding area. The weapon was located not too far from the Carriage, hidden under a bush just a ways away from it. Staves were rare in Equestria, but they were known to exist. Any crime involving one was met with the harshest punishment. The weapon in question was a stave. Weapons like this were only known to be used by the highest level Unicorns, at some point, the Royal sisters had banned them for their power to invoke demons and other kinds of living Nightmares into existence.
One such example occurred half a century ago when a unicorn mage used one to try and bind a demon to the mortal plane as a slave. The being had such immense power that the mage banished it back to the daemon world, but not before he used his magic to gouge out his eyes, leaving him blind until the end of his days.
Another tale told of a powerful unicorn mage that ultimately bound a daemon to his own pony soul, and then instructed others around him to seal him away in a cave, never to be found again. The cave entrance had been caved in on purpose and runes carved into the rocks to prevent others from entering. Rarity had absolute faith that she and her friends would be able to find who could have done this to her sister by morning. And of course, help from the police would certainly be appreciated as well. They had jobs to do after all.
Then the Case hit a road block. The Police ponies located their alleged suspect, but there was a small snag in arresting their suspect. They had evidence that she had been obsessed with the filly for some reason. A month before the crime, her sister Rarity had discovered somepony spying on her little sister. So she had a restraining order filed against her. It turned out she had been stalking both of them for some time. She even felt she was still harassing her sister near the school house. What Rarity didn't know, but would soon, was that the pony that had been tracked down had been using a magic pendant to hide their identity.
And that her sister was going to be used in a most gruesome ritual.
The Ponyville Hospital
Just outside of the Front Doors of the ER
Rarity was panicking when she got to the hospital. How could this of happened? Why? Her mind was so filled with questions that she couldn't focus at all. She waited with baited breath to find out if her sister was still alive after this horrible ordeal. The doctor, along with Nurse Redheart, came out to give Rarity and update on Sweetie Belle's status. She listened to them as they described Sweetie's health condition. It wasn't exactly good, but it wasn't bad either she thought. yes her sister was 'alive' but unless she woke up right away she would be in a constant vegetative state the doctor told her. And all this was occurring while Rarity also awaited news from the Police on whether they found who had done this to her sister.
They found out who had done it alright, the only problem now was getting access since Celestia dived in and overtook jurisdiction on the matter. The Princess wouldn't delve into details, just that what she told her guards was the truth, in a manner of speaking, that the nature of pony of interest had been deemed of utmost urgency. That they needed to be taken into custody at the first most opportunity.
So as it happened that when the Police ponies went to go arrest her, 4 of Princess Celestia's Personal Guard showed up and pulled their suspect into a Royal Carriage. One of them turned to the Police Ponies and said something about " National Equestrian Security" and that the suspect was officially "Off Limits" to the likes of them.
A few hours later and one of the Police stallions found Rarity outside of her sister's hospital room. Rarity was a bit taken aback by what the police sergeant told her when she came to check up on the progress of the case. What would Celestia need to hide by taking the only suspect they tracked down into Royal custody? She couldn't help but think that maybe Twilight would be able to clear this up. She was close to the Princess after all. Rarity decided to talk to her alicorn friend and see if she could provide her with any insight.
But for now, her sister was lying a hospital bed hooked up to life support systems. There was no clear way of telling how much damage had been done, and if or when she would regain consciousness at all. All Rarity could think of was to stay by her sister's side no matter what. Even if she came out of this somewhat disabled, Rarity would devote her full time to her care. This might have been that one kind of event that would alter her life forever. Her sister would be her top priority, not her Boutique.
