The sun slowly rose over the horizon, the sky's dark purple color fading to a bright red. The colors danced about, the clouds changing to a wonderful shade of white and orange. Two citizens of Equestria lay side by side watching this pure magic.

The orange filly sighed, pressing her head against the alicorn's shoulder. Her fur was softer thatn any pillow, and her breathing more soothing than any music. She slowly rose up to her hooves, holding the filly's.

"Ready to go home now?" The alicorn asked as the sky turned to a soft baby blue. The filly nodded then trotted alongside the lavender pony.

They reached the castle, the crystal gleaming in the early sunlight brightly. The two stared towards the door, slowly pushing it open. A cyan made grumbled, her hooves crossed. She met eyes with the lavender pony trotting in her direction.

"Ugh! This is never gonna work!" she growled, tossing down the items in her hoof. She sat with her hooves crossed once again, her muzzle scrunched up and her cheeks puffed out a bit. She gave the impression of a spoiled filly who couldn't get their socks on.

"Need any help, Dash? I could if you want to," Twilight asked, a hoof scratching the young filly's mane. Rainbow Dash smiled, her eyes darting to her quickly, she looked up innocently. Rainbow was certainly not the type to admit weakness, but she had no other choice. She nodded.

While Twilight went to assist the multi colored mane, the orange filly trotted upstairs, setting her saddle bag in front of her bedroom door. She threw herself on the bed, she sheets nearly flying off. She placed her head between her little orange hooves, then lay on the bed, drifting to sleep.

"Scootaloo, please... Help!" A voice said. Scootaloo turned her head, seeing a pony silhouette form near her. She noticed the shape of wings spread out and its long mane. Another figure or a pony showed up behind it. A taller one, looking like a stallion. Scootaloo gasped, realizing who these were. Her parents. She took off, full speed, galloping towards them.

They started to fade away, their shadows burning harshly and the sound of screams echoed the filly's mind. She galloped faster and faster, her pace slowing and her hooves stiffening. She tried running, but her body froze, her head froze, and everything around her. She watched the silhouettes of her parents fade, and so did their voices. Scootaloo only made out one thing.

"I'm sorry. I am so, so sorry..."

Scootaloo screamed her eyes out, the sound ear piercing. She winced then stared at the final remains of her parents who were sobbing.

      "I... I'm sorry, too."

"Scootaloo, wake up!", a voice called, the filly's eyes snapping open. She grabbed onto the lavender made before her, then the other hoof around her idol. Tears leaked from the edges of her eyes then she sobbed. She lay her head on the blue one's fur, sniffing away her tears.

"Squirt, what's gotten into ya? You were fine until now!" Rainbow asked, hugging the filly one last time. Scootaloo jolted upright, then memories seemed to take everything positive, then cram it in a light socket. Scootaloo sweat a bit, her wings buzzing a bit.

"Oh, uh... A bad dream. Yeah, it was horrible!" Scootaloo said smiling nervously. She wasn't actually lying, though. It was bad after all... Scootaloo looked up at the cyan made hoping she'd take the 'lie', then she swallowed hard. The rainbow mare frowned at Scootaloo who was shuffling her hooves awkwardly.

Twilight trotted over, the hooves making a 'cloping' sound on the solid ground. She turned to Rainbow.

"Did you talk it out of her?" she asked, seeing Scootaloo tear up again. Rainbow shook her head wildly, her mane swishing back and forth. Twilight sighed. She sat on the couch next to the two, then sighed again.

"Scootaloo, if you don't tell us the truth, we won't know what's wrong. Do you really want to live like this?" Twilight asked, putting the orange pegasus' hooves in her's. Scootaloo nodded.

"W-well, I had a dream about..... um.. well, my p...re....ts.." Scootaloo mumbled out the best she could. Twilight tossed her head to the side.

"What now?"

"About my.... parennnnnnts..." Scootaloo groaned. The two mares exchanged glances then sighed.

"I was in this place and it was all white. I saw like these shadows of them. I went towards them and they called my name, asking for help a-and I.... couldn't move. They just faded away..." Scootaloo sobbed again, covering her eyes with her hooves.

Twilight's eyes filled up and her vision blurred. Rainbow didn't hold it in- she just started crying.... loudly. Twilight pat Rainbow's back and used her magic to levitate Scootaloo on her lap.

She hummed quietly to herself, trying to clam them down a bit. Rainbow started loosing her breath, as if she had all her feelings stuffed in a container. She slowly pulled herself together hearing Twilight's humming. Rainbow let go of her tight grip on Twilight's fur, then she sniffed, giving an effort to erase tears.

"Maybe... if we tried talking about it more, we'd never have this problem," Twilight stated calmly. The two pegasi looked up nodding.  Rainbow was first to start.

'It all started on our vacation, Twi. We packed our things and everything we thought that was needed. Spike was a bit sad that he would have to watch the library for a few days, but he didn't show his misery much. We stopped by Sweet Apple Acres to say bye to AJ, but bumped into Apple Bloom instead," Rainbow said, her voice calm. Scootaloo jolted up.

"Oh, yeah. Apple, Sweetie and I had a Cutie Mark Crusaders meeting that afternoon, and we sent her to get the door. Apple Jack was bucking down some apples from the trees and she couldn't come. Apple accidentally spilled the beans on my father's day gift for Dad back in Canterlot with Mom. So you and Twilight helped us make a card. Around an hour later, we took a taxi to Canterlot, since the Ponyville express broke down," Scootaloo watched Twilight tap her chin and swore she saw a light bulb over her head.

"As I recall, the taxi went out of control, crashing before we jumped out with the driver. Rainbow carried you on her back and we flew to Canterlot the rest of the way. At your parent's house, your Mom answered the door, letting us inside. We gave your dad the card, and stayed for dinner. He said that he would be right back with mom as they trotted..... outside...." Twilight trailed off, trying to avoid the bad part.

"And..... they went in the carriage, getting a seat. The driver cantered out of the neighborhood, as we watched them go by. The carriage driver then turned to see another coming down the road at full speed, and a pony crossing the road. She panicked and tuned her head towards the other end off the crossing, then the one carrying mom in it collided with the pony who happened to be a unicorn. She tried casting a shield spell, but the two carriages crashed into the magic barrier, which caused a small explosion or fire and flames flying in all directions..." Scootaloo finished, wiping her eyes. Twilight wrapped a wing around the crying filly, sobbing, then soon a full-blown cry.

Rainbow just lay there, curled into a fuzzy, cyan ball. She shook her head vigorously, trying to unlock that light socket. Her head shook harder as she started crying and Twilight put two hooves on the part of her throat above her shoulders. The mare slowed her head shaking, then the whole room spun, or atleast seemed to.

Scootaloo smiled a bit and the pegasus who's eyes were bouncing around her head more than Derpy's. Twilight released her throat, then nuzzled Rainbow's fur. A light knock then echoed through the crystal walls. The silence broke as Rainbow trotted to the kitchen for a snack, Scootaloo headed for her closet to get her scooter, and Twilight went to answer to door.

Slowly swinging open the door, Twilight grinned as Fluttershy popped up in front of the door. She blushed a bit, Twilight not knowing why, and then the yellow pegasus smiled back.

"Oh, good morning, Twilight! M-May I come in?" she asked. The door became surrounded by a purple aurora, as it opened.

Fluttershy cantered towards the kitchen, seeing Rainbow with a plate of powered donuts, scrambled egg, and a glass of orange juice. She turned around, blushing to Fluttershy who looked up curiously at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow spat out the spoon carried in her jaws.

'Uh, I-It's not what you think!" Rainbow said, nervously, waving her hooves, then falling off the stool she was standing on. She got up, rubbing her head, then frowned.

"Um, what's not what I think? It's just breakfast-" Fluttershy was immediately cut off.

"JUST BREAKFAST? No, no, no, Shy. A professional athlete like me needs a balanced breakfast, not a plate of junk food! You know..... what that could do to my reputation?!" Rainbow asked, her eyes lighting up, large and wide as the plate on the counter.

Rolling her eyes, Fluttershy trotted into the dining room, sitting on the table. She folded her hooves, waiting patiently for Rainbow and Scootaloo. Twilight was just taking a morning shower before breakfast, and she'd be out in any minute.

The castle was anything but quiet; the sound of the dishwasher rumbling and Rainbow standing on the creaky stool, tossing down loads of food, which made a loud *BANG* on the kitchen counter. Scootaloo, upstairs looking for her scooter, had items tumbling down from shelves, closets, and literally everywhere.

Fluttershy, who tapped her hooves in the table legs, hummed a bit loudly, around the volume of an over-sized mouse, which was still quiet. Her wings fluttered (no pun intended) and it beat the chair's back part. Twilight had the shower running, hot water rushing down heavily. Bored, Fluttershy played with her hooves, as the whole world seemed to go *BOOM*

Rainbow shoved another dish inside, every crack filled with dishes, forks, spoons, knives, plates, pots and pans, and pretty much every kitchen item and all types of silver wear. Rainbow took out the box of dishwashing soap, then put a hoof to her chin, thoughtfully.

"Since there is EXTRA dishes, I'll use EXTRA soap!" she announced, as Fluttershy took up a sponge and broom from the cabinet. Soap and water filled the whole washer in seconds as it turned on. A red light on it flashed, but Rainbow didn't notice.

Twilight turned the hot water up higher, as the knobs reached all the way. Twilight wasn't satisfied at it yet, so she held it in her jaw , forcing it to turn more. A screw popped off the hot water knob. Twilight just kept turning it, then another popped off. Using her magic, Twilight forced it again, but the whole knob snapped off and Twilight didn't seem to notice.

Scootaloo's door was blocked by bikes, boards games, stuffed animals, and other junk, she tried to find the door knob, but she could barely reach it, anyways, because the door was covered with her things. Fluttershy gracefully swept the floor, as the water from Twilight's shower head burst, then like a hose, water filled the bathroom, soaking the floor mat, nearly drowning Twilight.

The dishwasher lock broke away, setting suds and bubbles free, covering the whole kitchen and dining area, where Fluttershy was covered in suds, only eyes showing. The bathroom door burst, sending Twilight and atleast twenty gallons of water into the living room. Scootaloo finally found the door, as her things rolled down the stairs with Scootaloo hanging on it.

Fluttershy wiped suds, from her face, then smiled.

"Oh my goodness, that was the most fun I've had had all day! So, what'd you do this morning?"

Then, three ponies exchanged glances.
