I was meant to arrive at Stable 111 and never leave.
I was meant to live my life and die there. That didn't happen.
I wake up and I'm back in Equestria. But it's not the same.

Slipstream, a young, happy-go-lucky pegasus mare finds herself in Equestria 200 years later. But it's not the same one she knew. This one is filled with raider ponies who kill on sight and horrible monsters that can rip you in two.

She leaves the cryostasis pod and finds her friend. Then her friend imminently gets kidnapped by a pony called Dismay. She makes it her goal to find out who Dismay is and save her friend. She thinks her journey will be over once she does that. She is wrong. She gets pulled into a quest to find the place called the Institute and stop it from taking over the Wasteland.

It doesn't help that she keeps experiencing hallucinations of the old Equestria. She fears that from her short time in the Wasteland it is already breaking her.

Mother always said I find myself in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was right.
