Filly steps

Twilight was pacing in her castle; she was waiting for her friends. Earlier Spike had sent out a message for the ponies to meet at the castle. She was using her magic to levitate the scroll the spell was on. She heard the door burst open. " Girls! I'm in the library." The 6 mares made there way to their favorite spot, in front of the portal mirror. It was currently slowly swirling a purplish color. "So girls, I know you are probably wondering why I called you here-" Twilight started.

" Yeah, what could possibly be SOOO important that we HAD to be here?" complained Rainbow.

"Princess Celestia gave me a scroll to study and try. I skimmed it, and it appears to be a different sort of time spell."

"I was in the middl-" Before Rarity could finish, the portal started quickly shifting shades of pink.

        "Twili', Ah don't think that's supposed to be doin' tha'..."

Everypony but Twilight was confused. "Everypony back up" She said, "give her some space" She looked up to find the confused stares of her friends'

        "There is nopon-" Started Pinkie, but before she could finish a jet of scarlet and gold came shooting out of the mirror. The ponies recognized those colors. All but Twilight and the new pony took up fighting stances, though they lowered them as the pony sat up. Instantly Twilight sprang foreword and wrapped her hooves around the pony on the ground. "Sunset!"

"Oof- Ouch, Twilight, too tight." Wheezed Sunset. Twilight broke free, blushing.

"Sorry... I guess you kinda know my friends... er..." She said "Sunset, my friends. Friends, Sunset. You've heard about her"

"Yeah... the THEIF" Rainbow huffed. At the sound of this Sunset shrank back.

"Rainbow! I've told you! She has changed! Now, Sunset. Why are you here? Is there something wrong at CHS?"

'No, everything's fine... too fine. And BORING! No excitement what so ever. So I came here."

Sunset used magic to teleport herself up. She walked around the library examining book and making small comments like, "Is this new?" or, "I need to read this one!" Once she finished she went back to the group. "Did I interrupt anything?" She questioned.

"No... Twilight was about to do some egghead stuff. Quite boring." Said Rainbow, yawning.

"That is NOT true, Rainbow, I was going to try something Celestia gave me." Said Twilight glaring at Rainbow. "Now... I think we should get to it." Twilight brought the scroll over and began to read it.
