Filly steps

Shining Armor heard a sharp rap at the door of his house. He was visiting Canterlot for his mothers birthday. He used his magic to open the door. There was a gold and scarlet mare standing there. "Can... uh... can I help you?" He said slowly.

"Um... yes, I'm Sunset Shimmer, a friend of Twilight's. There was a misfire in one of her spells and-"

"Is Twily alright?"

She sighed, having had this exact conversation earlier. "Yes, she is okay health wise, but you should probably come with me." They made their way back to the train. On the train she saw Big Mac sitting next to TWO mares. One had a grey coat and lavender mane (she seemed to be the older of the two), the other had a lighter grey coat and a long dark grey mane.

"Hello" Sunset said, introducing herself "My name is Sunset Shimmer. There-" She stopped herself. Did she really want the same conversation three times in a row? "-There was an accident in Princess Twilights castle, Pinkie Pie was there-" The younger one gasped "-She is okay, but...Its difficult to explain" She said, avoiding a long drawn-out conversation.

"My name is Maud" Said the older one in a bland, monotone voice "Her name is Marble, and this is Boulder." She held up a small grey pebble. An awkward silence overtook the group.

When they pulled up, Rarity, Rainbow and Fluttershy... Sunset thought... Rainbow never speaks of her family, so all she could go off of was Scootaloo. Rarity's parents are never really in town, so Sweetie Belle. "I'll meet you guys at Sugarcube Corner-" At the mention of this sweet store, the Pie sisters glanced at each other (they enjoyed baking sweets). "-I need to go get somepony... Big Mac, can you go get the crusaders?"

"Eeyup"

"I need to go find Fluttershy's brother"

Shining Armor and the Pies went to Sugarcube Corner, Big Mac mad his way to the clubhouse, and Sunset started wandering around Ponyville. She found herself right underneath Cloudsdale. She used a spell that Princess Celestia had taught her so long ago. Slowly, she lifted herself off the ground, and up to Cloudsdale.

Twenty minutes later, She was floating  down with a rather tall Pegasus. As promised the rest of the group was at Sugarcube Corner, including Big Mac and the Cutie Mark Crusaders. "Everypony, Meet Fluttershy's brother, Zephyr breeze." Announced Sunset Shimmer.

There were a couple greetings mumbled before Zephyr said "He-llo every-ponay! Anypony care to tell me what's going on?"

"As most of you know..." Sunset began.

The group was walking back to the castle, having been filled in on the situation. Sunset opened the door to the castle, and then to the library. When she looked into the room, they were gone. Gone. Not there. she turned to the group. "Do any of you know where six fillies who don't even know each other would go if they escaped a room they were locked in?"
