The heir to the moon.

Our tale starts in the peaceful village of Cloudsdale. In a small house in which a grey pegasus with blonde hair and black highlights lay in her bed, asleep. “Hey Doofus! Breakfast is ready downstairs, oh and mom wanted to speak to you about something, she sounded real serious” somepony shouted from outside the pegasi’s door. The grey pony sat up and rubbed her eyes,

“Thanks for the wakeup call dorkazoid!” she shouted in reply. She placed a scarf around her neck and trotted down to the kitchen table where a smaller orange pegasus and a plate of pancakes were sat.

“Galaxy, after breakfast I want to speak to you…” she “It’s about your father…” Both pegasi dropped their forks, her eyes shifted, something wasn’t right.

“I’ve lost my appetite.” the younger pegasi said as he walked out of the room “Wheres my PPad?”  The mother let out a sigh and proceeded to walk over to Galaxy.

“Your PPad is on the stairs Starstorm"

“So? What’s wrong?” She asked

“Well you see, there’s something you need to know about your father, and me…” She replied, her eyes filling up with tears as she said the last part.

“M…Mom? What do I need to know?” Her voice now full of concern “Is he ok?”

“Yes my dear, but…but” The female Pegasus dropped to her knees and wept “Im a…afraid I’m n…not…I’m n…not”

  “M…Mom! Are you ok!? Your not what?! What aren’t you?!” Galaxy became frantic in her attempts to calm her mother but found herself welling up with tears.

“Im n…not your r…real mother” She managed to get out between deep breaths and wails. Galaxy froze, her eyes widened as she began to process what her mother had just said, ‘not your real mother.’ Echoed in her mind. Galaxy stared in shock and disbelief, after all this time, the person she looked up to and saw as her mother, wasn’t real? She couldn’t believe it, she didn’t! After all why wouldn’t she be her mother?

“What?” Was all she managed to get out before a hoof was placed on her shoulder, she turned around to see who it was, since both of her mothers’ hooves were over her eyes. Her father…
