Twilight has lost everything.

A catastrophic event has destroyed everything that she loves. Her friends, the Princesses, her family, her home…and it even destroyed the Tree of Harmony, destroying the Elements. Everything is gone.

With nowhere to go, Twilight puts on her useless crown and wanders away. It's not like she has anywhere to go or do, is there?

There is.

She ends up in an incredible journey to restore the Elements of Harmony. She'll make new friends, and go to new places. But to truly save the world, Twilight, the last Element, will have to pay a tragic price.

The moments passed in a blur.

The earth was rumbling.

Ponies were screaming.

The princesses crumpled on the ground.

She was running.

A building falling.

Crashing.

Darkness.

Twilight's consciousness slowly faded awake. Her vision was blurry, and she could feel a stabbing pain in her back legs. She shook her head and blinked twice. She gasped.

The world around her was covered in darkness. Gigantic piles of rubble were surrounding her. It was like being in her worst nightmares.

Slowly, she stunbled onto her hooves, gently stretching her legs. she winced as the pain in her legs spiked for a moment. She limped onto a pile of rocks and trees, scrambling up the steep hill with her bad legs. She tripped on a piece of sharp rock, collapsing down. Twilight hit the ground, celebrated with a large cloud of dust upon impact.
