Journal Entry: My name is Angel Wings. I am currently 21 and...I am an alicorn. Not just any alicorn either. I am a natural born alicorn. Granddaughter of Cadence and Shining Armor. Now before y'all freak and ask "how this came to be" I don't know... actually nopony knows. Celestia and Luna are the only other natural born alicorns around and never seen an alicorn birth just like the rest of Equestria. Twilight did research on it and found a journal from the Royal Sisters parents hidden among the many books. It mentioned briefly something about expected foals being chosen to be next to the throne and that it only happened if the natural alicorns in existence weren't going to have a foal. But Twilight said pages seemed to be missing and the ones there were blurred so she could be mistaken. You might be asking now why my mom/dad isn't one. Twilight said something about it skipping a generation but sounded unsure.

My mom (Cadence's daughter) is an unicorn named Aura Light. She makes important speeches all over Equestria. My dad, Stormy Blitz, was a Wonderbolt but quit to be a royal guard. That's how he met my mom. He sadly died in the Battle of Equestria (I was only 1..maybe 2 at the time.) The Battle of Equestria was a dark battle where all of Equestria's worse villains teamed up to take over and destroy the Mane 6. They wanted vengeance considering the mane 6 defeated them and their plans to rule the lands. Many guards who fought in the battle died, and many more ponies were injured. The villains ended up retreating and nopony knows where they are now. I don't know many details past that. Nopony wants to talk about it yet, too soon they say.

My family worries the attack will happen again because the villains retreated and nopony knows where they went or if they are still together or split off. A search party was sent out but nothing was found.

Being the first natural alicorn in countless moons means I'm a big target for foalnapping. Which means I am on constant guard. I can't leave the castle grounds alone...or I should say i'm not allowed to. I got into a habit of sneaking out on my own (did I mention my hate of having little freedom?)

Anyway this went on until I turned 21. Apparently my grandparents always knew I went off on my own because they confronted me on it saying if I wanted to go out I had to have my guard with me. And with that I was given my own personal body guard (yay me *rolls eyes*.) His name...Cosmic Blast, and he and I did NOT get along.

Thankfully over my time sneaking out I had made some friends. Scarlet Rose, a pegasus with a rosy pink coat and scarlet mane and tail, is my closest friend. Her pegasus coltfirend, Twilight Dusk, looks a lot like Twilight though he claims there is no relation. He has a deep purple coat and a dark purple main and tail with light purple streaks. I also made friends with another couple: Sapphire Moon and Silver Sword. Sapphire, a unicorn, has a light violet coat and a sapphire mane. Her coltfiend, also a unicorn, has a light gray coat with a dark silvery mane and tail.

I can always count on they to be there for me. Anyway it is getting late and I must get some sleep.

Angel is NOT powerful at all. Like ANY young she has a LOT to learn! She is NOTHING like Flurry Heart all OP and sh*t. Her magic is at unicorn level and her flight at pegasus. She is in training to be stronger but has a long way to go. (it will also be shone more later on that she hates having alicorn status because of all people/ponies already think about her in a certain way without getting to know her)
