Introduction: Dawned Isolation
An old bunker littered with various canned goods lays hidden underground in an unknown location, This bunker holds three rooms. a Bedroom, a Kitchen, and a room full of mechanical stuff. The bunkers rooms are arranged in a strange way. a small square room sits in the middle, it has a ladder leading upward on it's southern wall, one door on the eastern, western, and northern walls. The bedroom is to the west, the kitchen to the east, and the mechanical room is to the north.
An old pony stands in the middle of his bedroom, in an unknown bunker. This pony is red from head to hoof and has reddish brownish eyes. his entire body is covered with old rags, well, everything besides his left eye. This pony is reading a book. An old, dusty book about the friendship problems twilight sparkle and her friends wrote many many years ago.
'Course, Twilight and her friends are long since gone, Along with any other pony that ever existed. Today the pony's are only fossilized remains laying several hundred feet beneath the sand.
As far as this pony reading the book knows, He's the only living pony in equestria. What's the name of this red pony?
"I Just call myself dawned isolation." The red pony said. Dawned isolation has tried to open the cans, but has had no luck. he proceeds to rip a page out of the book he's reading and eats it. "I Question the nutritional value of these pages." Dawned isolation says with his mouth full of paper.
Dawned isolation puts the book down and stands up, he looks around the bedroom, which is the room he's currently in. In the top left corner is a pile of newspaper dawned sleeps on. In the top right corner is a storage box, filled with canned foods. The rest of room is filled with junk that's not worth explaining.
Dawned Leaves the bedroom, and enters the small square room in the center-ish of the bunker. He enters the eastern room, which is the kitchen. On the northern wall of the kitchen, is a series of counters and cabinets, there's a refrigerator, but it's been powered down for as long as you've been in this bunker. Next to the refrigerator, is a refrgificator, which is in no relevance to the story in any way.
Dawned opens all the cabinets in search of a can-opener, hoping he can one day enjoy the vast varieties of canned goods that litter the bunker. "Oh can-opener, where are you?" dawned shouts into the kitchen cabinets, After mere moments of searching he gives up. He goes back into the square room in the center-ish of the bunker. He enters the northern room, which happens to be the mechanical room.
Inside the northern wing, pipes run along the the ceiling of the room, and various keypads, circuit breakers, and utility shelves line the walls. Across the room from the entrance, is a large screen, in front of it is a huge keyboard, it has over 600 keys! Who needs that many keys!? Anyways,
Dawned walks over to the keyboard and pushes "Enter" on the keyboard, the large screen turns on. The screen shows a large white tree, with bright green leaves. The surrounding are looks like a desert. a black tab opens on the side of the screen, that gives the exact coordinates of this tree. "Pony measurement units! I Know those!" Dawned speaks aloud. Yet nobody is around to hear him.
on the far right of the keyboard is a big red button that says "Self destruct". He has no idea what this means.
Dawned stands there and ponders for a moment. "What could this button do?" He asks himself "Maybe it could make it rain? Or possibly give me some food?" Dawned thinks to himself. "Speaking of food, Maybe it could dispense a...Can-opener?" Dawned thinks to himself. "But then again, it could ALSO Do something horrible, like magically destroy all cans in equestria? Hmmm..." Dawned begins to weigh his options.
After three to four minutes wasted, he narrowed it down to these two possibilities: It could dispense a can opener, or it could blow the bunker up...
...So he takes his chances.
Dawned pushes the red button that reads "Self destruct", on the screen a timer appears. It counts down 5 minutes. Uh oh, this is bad! Dawned assumes. "Who knows what'll happen when the timer get's to zero!" Dawned says as he begins to panic. "I've got to grab my things and get out of here!!!!" He shouts.
Dawned bolts into the kitchen, in the corner of of the kitchen, is the Crystal heart, hollowed out with the top taken off like a pumpkin. With the crystal heart in hoof, he bolts into the bedroom, gathering up as many canned goods as possible, and sticks them in the hollowed crystal heart. Before he leaves, he takes a good two to three minutes to say his goodbyes to his awesome newspaper bed, it's the coolest thing dawned has ever seen.
Remembering time is at his disadvantage, he quickly runs to the ladder in the square room in the center-ish of the bunker, he climbs the ladder. He descends out of a hatch, right beneath where the crystal heart podium was, it blends in almost perfectly with the walkway, making it impossible to see.
The sun is shining down on dawned isolation's face, the hidden hatch are four pillars that used to hold a castle, Around the four pillars are old houses that are completely wrecked. Sand is the only thing inhabiting this place now. Dawn has his trusty hollowed crystal heart full of canned goods on his back, and begins his escape of this old place. With only hoof prints behind him, he leaves the town.
Dawned feels the wind in his face as it slips through the old rags he wears. He looks behind himself and watches his home, formerly known as the crystal empire, blow up. leaving only a massive crater. Dawned sheds a tear seeing as his home was just blown up. But dawned looks back and begins his journey to find a new home. I Guess this is how it goes in the wasteland.
An old white tree sits smack-dab in the middle of the desert. There's nothing to see in any direction, this tree is all alone. How did this tree manage to grow in the desert? At the base of the tree is a hole, inside the hole is a ladder leading straight up the tree trunk. Hidden in the leaves of this tree sits a tree house, Completely hidden form eyes below. Not that anyone's around, of course.
But wait, somepony is around. Inside the tree house, a black unicorn stands in the middle of the one room inside the tree house. This unicorn is black from hoof to horn with blue eyes, and aqua colored mane and tail. she's completey covered in paper towels she found inside a wooden box well, besides for her eyes. In the top-left corner of her tree house, is a ladder leading down to the exit. in the top right corner of the room, is a proper bed. Sheets, pillow, blankets, everything. in the bottom left corner of the room are various boxes full of paper towels, books, seeds, and strangely shaped crystals.
In the bottom right corner of the room is a safe. You've never been able to open up the safe, but the pony isn't that curious anyways. What's the name of this pony? "As the owner of flower town, My name is windy dusk." The black pony said.
Wait, flower town?...
"Yeah!! Flower town! Here, I'll show you." Windy dusk says eagerly. Windy dusk runs to the top left corner, and slides half way down the ladder, there's an entrance to to right, she jumps off the ladder and does a double flip into the entrance, she totally sticks the landing!...I Lied, she failed epicly and did a face-plant.
She get's back up and walks in to the room. "Welcome to flower town!!!!!!!" She said in pure joy as she entered a room where flower pots litter the floor, in each pot, is a flower. Some of the flowers are dead, while others are still alive. On the floor windy dusk drew roads. Each having it's own name, and district. Sidewalks leading to each pot as if it were a home. flower seeds are all over the floor as well, as if they're residents of flower town.
At the center of the town is a watering can. The mayor of flower town picks up the watering can and gives each flower-pot home a free shower twice every day. One in the morning, and one in the evening. On the walls are shelves, atop the shelves are various flowers. Some withered, and some are still hangin' in there. This room has windows, but no sunlight get's in because of the amount of leaves right outside the windows
Windy dusk never leaves her tree home because of her busy schedule as mayor of flower town. Wait, windy hears something...She hasn't heard anything in several years! She hears something climbing up the ladder in the trunk...
Adventure: Dawned Isolation's trip away from home.
Dawned isolation walks with his back turned to his exploded home, Formerly known as the crystal empire. he walks leaving horse shoe shaped prints in the sand behind him. Dawned just keeps walking.
After hours of previously mention walking, dawned comes across a pony skull half buried in the sand. He picks it up and looks at it. "I Wonder who's skull this was." He asks himself as he stares into it. "Oh well, not my problem." Dawned says as he drops the skull and continues walking. After a couple minutes of walking, dawned begins to smell something...
The smell smells so godawful that plain curiosity makes him want to know what smells so bad, so he decides to follow the smell. Dawned walks over a hill in the sand when he sees an old house half buried in the sand. The smell is coming from there. Dawned walks over to the home and approaches the door. Dawned proceeds to knock on the door three times. "Knock, Knock, Knock,"
No answer. Dawned knocks again. "Knock, Knock, Knock" still no answer. Overwhelmed by curiosity, dawned opens the door. Inside the house is so dark he can't see a thing. "Hello...?" Dawned yelled into the house. Suddenly, a whole flock or two of crows come flying out the door. "WHAT THE F-" Dawned yells as he ducks and covers his head with both his hoofs.
Birds stop flying out from the house, and start flying in the sky above. Dawned gets back up, and enters the home. The living room is all dawned can enter because the rest of the house is buried with sand. In the living room is a dead family of pony's. Violent! "The crow's must have been feeding off these corpse's for years." Dawned said aloud. Dawned noticed something, Not all the crows flew out of the building, There was one still there.
A young crow stands fearless in the middle of the room. "Ca-caw!" The crow said.
Dawned looked the crow dead in the eyes. "Hey little guy. What's your name?" Dawned asked the crow.
"Ca-caw, Ca-caw!" The crow cawed.
"Mario? Is that your name?" Dawned asked the young crow.
"Ca, Caw..." The crow said as it shakes it's head.
"Ooh, i get it now. Your name is Crowbar!" Dawned said to the young crow.
"Ca-caw! Ca-ca-caw!!" The crow said as it jumped in excitement.
"Then it's settled. Your name is crowbar." Dawned said to crowbar. Crowbar spread her wings and flew onto dawned's head. "Let's get going!" he said as he turned around and left the old house. As dawned and crowbar were walking away from the old house, an ominous object hovers above dawned. "What is that!?" Dawned said as he looks up at the object.
The object is shaped like a pirate ship. The object is made out of steel and gold. The ship continues to fly as if it didn't notice dawned at all. He watched it fly until he couldn't see it anymore. While watching the ship fly into the distance, dawned notices something else in the distance...
...It kinda looks like a bright blur with green spots here and there...Dawned has no idea what this thing is. "Ca-caw!" crowbar said as she pointed at the blur in the distance
"Good idea crowbar! Let's approach that thing!" Dawned said happily. Dawned began rushing towards the blur desperate to see what it was. When dawned finally arrived, it was a large white tree, in the middle of the desert. How could such a thing grow in heat like this? Also including the fact that it's always daytime, and never night. At the base of the trunk is a doorway leading into the tree. Inside was a ladder.
Dawned looked up to see where the ladder led, it led straight up, halfway up the ladder there was a passage to the left, and at the top there was a room.
Dawned began to climb the ladder.
