//-------------------------------------------------------// Do I love her? -by sugarcoat- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter one //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter one Twilight Sparkle, the calm and collected lavender alicorn, was now pacing around her room at an alarming speed. "Twilight...?" Spike asked quietly, the now grown dragon peering around the corner of her door. "What, spike?" She snapped, flicking her tail and turning to him. "Can't you see I'm busy?" Spike flinched. "I just thought you'd want some dinner with the girls is all, they're here to see you. You should probably go, you've been cooped up inside all day." Twilights eyes widened and her pupils dilated. Spike left the room with a concerning look, and walked down the stairs. "Twi! Hurry up, I'm mighty hungry!" She heard a familiar voice shout, a southern twang accenting the sentence the pony spoke. She whipped her head around, galloping towards her mirror and levitating her brush towards her mane. She brushed her mane and tail through, trying to act as if she hadn't just been contemplating whether she was in love with her friend or not. "Coming!" She shouted in a falsely happy voice, taking a few deep breaths and trotting down the stairs to greet the girls. They were all wearing some sort of accessory. Applejack had her hair in a bun, a gorgeous Lily flower behind her hear and her Stetson missing from her head. Fluttershy, green and blue flowers weaved into her hair. Rainbow Dash's hair was in a simple pony, and Pinkie's hair curlier than ever with little candy shaped barrettes, holding her long hair up. Twilight smiled at her friends, but stopping on the white unicorn herself. "Hello, darling," Rarity smiled, flicking her violet hair behind her. "H-Hi, Rarity." Twilight stuttered, trying not to be totally obvious. "I brought you something also, don't fret." She told Twilight, a blue aura surrounding her horn. She felt her hair being lifted and twirled into a bun much like Applejacks and a few glowing stars holding the bun in place. "Can we go now that you've prettied everyone up?" Rainbow said, putting emphasis on the word "prettied." Everypony nodded and they all filed out the door, Rainbow flying and Pinkie bouncing. Twilight stood behind the girls, listening to Rainbow tell jokes and Applejack hitting her, due to making some type of "Applehick" name for her. She looked at the stars and admired them, it really was a beautiful night. She turned her head towards her friends again, her eyes accidentally landing on Rarity's flank. Her cheeks flushed red as she watched the white pony's hips move back and forth, her tail swishing along with them. She got a glimpse at the bit between her legs and suddenly realized what she's done. "Oh no...." She thought to herself, looking down to the side and raising a hoof to her burning cheeks. "We're here!" Pinkie Pie shouted, motioning the ponies to hurry towards the door. They all trotted to the door and filed inside, just barely slipping by the ponies that were laughing and carrying glasses of wine. "Reservations for Rarity, table of 6 please," Raritys smooth voice told the stallion at the counter, fluttering her eyelashes for effect so they would definitely get a good table. "Right this way ma'am," He told them, holding 6 regular and drink menus with a lime green magic aura. "Enjoy your night," he told them. "Oh we will," Rainbow whispered to Pinkie, nuzzling her left cheek and earning a giggle. They all sat down in their seats, Twilight sitting next to Fluttershy and Applejack. The order of table went Applejack, Twilight, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Rainbow, and Rarity. Rarity just so happened to be across from Twilight. "Aight, so here's the plan." Rainbow said, a smirk concealing her face and her front hooves on the table. "We eat our food like normal, get drunk, act like we're having a good time." Rainbow kept talking, but Twilight didn't listen. She stared at Rarity, watching her nod her head and narrow her eyes from time to time at Rainbow Dash. "But we steal some vodka. Add some spice to the sick-ass party we're about to have at Sugar Cube Corner. Sound good?" Rainbow asked, looking around at everypony. Everyone was reluctant to nod except for Pinkie, who was extra excited. They all nodded however, opening their menus and flipping through the pages. Twilight looked away from Rarity and picked up her own menu, looking at the choices. "I'm not very hungry, just uneasy. Spike's right, I should go out more if sitting across from the pony I love makes me nervous." Twilight thought to herself, not really paying attention to the choices in the menu as much as she was to the conversations of other ponies. She chewed on the inside of her cheek and decided on a daisy and daffodil petal salad with an iced tea. "Are you ladies ready to order?" A pretty unicorn asked them, smiling softly as her violet eyes glittered. "I think we are," Rarity answered, looking around at everypony for agreement. They all nodded, including Twilight as the waitress levitated a pencil and a notepad in front of her with a matching violet aura. They all ordered and the pony looked at Twilight, making her choke on her tongue. "I-I would like, um, a daisy and daffodil petal salad with an iced tea, please." She told the waiter, stuttering slightly. The waitress nodded and walked off, heading towards the kitchen to place their orders. "D-d-d-daffodil p-p-petal s-s-salad p-p-please," Rainbow joked. Applejack shot her a look and she stopped. "Are you alright, darling?" Rarity asked Twilight, her eyebrows furrowing together. "Yeah, just a bit shaky. I haven't eaten anything all day." She responded, avoiding Rarity's eyes. She nodded and looked over to Fluttershy who was telling a story to Applejack. Twilight looked around at the table, admiring her friends. "How're we gonna get into the kitchen..? We could just order a bunch of vodka..." Rainbow whispered to Pinkie who was nodding. "What are you guys talking about?" Twilight asked them, curiosity laced in her one. "Stealing vodka. Only the most sophisticated of discussions there is." Pinkie responded, poorly imitating a posh British pony. Rainbow giggled and nodded. "You could just wait until we finish our food and us three could go to the bar while the other three go to the restroom and wait there while we order shots and pretend we're there to drink. Pinkie, distract the bartender by flirting with them and making it seem like you're going to take them home. Rainbow'll fly up to the shelf where they keep the vodka and take some, and then we run," Twilight told the ponies. Rainbow had a look of shock on her face while Pinkie's was concealed with a evil grin. "Perfect," she said. "Your food, ladies." The waitress came back with their food and drinks, setting them down in front of everypony. They thanked her and she walked away. She looked at her salad, happy with her choice. She grabbed her fork and began to eat slowly, listening to her friends chatter. "What's your favorite show, Twilight?" Fluttershy asked, her voice barely able to hear. She swallowed her food and answered. "It might be The Walking Hooves. It's so fascinating." She said, Rainbow Dash and Applejack nodding in agreement. "I just like the action and all the guts," Rainbow added with a smirk. Rarity snorted in disgust and continued to eat her pasta. They all ate their food and talked with each other, Fluttershy talking more and more with the help of wine. They kept drinking, getting more open and louder with each other until it was at least 10:00. "Well, I'm full. How 'bout you girls?" Applejack asked her friends, patting her stomach with a hoof. Rainbow groaned and nodded. "We're stealing vodka though Dashie, don't forget." Pinkie reminded them and Fluttershy whimpered. "You don't have to participate Fluttershy, just act like you're a bunch of drunkies outside with Applejack and Rarity." Fluttershy nodded hesitantly. They left the bill on the table and the three who weren't participating left the building while the other three headed towards the bar. "Hello ma'am, what do you like?" A pegasus asked Pinkie as she walked up. She talked to him, taking her curly hair out and letting it fall over her shoulders. He began to flirt back and Twilight nodded at Rainbow. Twilight hopped on Rainbow's back and she sneakily flew up to the vodka shelf and peered around. "Those," she said, pointing at the flavored vodka. Twilight nodded but threw off Rainbows balance and she tapped a bottle of vodka, knocking it down to the floor. "Shit!" Rainbow yelled as Twilight levitated bottles and held them close to her, still on Rainbows back. The bartender stopped kissing Pinkie and looked up, yelling at the culprits. "Run!" Pinkie shouted. The ponies ran out of the restaurant, being shouted at while carrying bottles of flavored vodka, and giggling like school fillies. "Run, guys!" Rainbow squeaked. They all together managed to run all the way to the library without dropping the bottles, panting when they finally got there. "Let's just crash here," Twilight suggested, her words slurring. Her friends nodded as Rarity conjured up sleeping bags and pillows for the mares. They all laid down, Twilight resting her head on her hooves. She set the bottles down in the middle of the circle. "Let's play a game of truth or dare," Rainbow suggested, a smirk on her face once more. Everyone agreed, however Rarity snorted. "I don't toy around with such games. We are grown mares, not gaggling school fillies." "You sure weren't acting like a grown mare when you were knocked up on wine..." Rainbow retorted, only loud enough for Applejack to hear. Applejack howled with laughter, and Rarity frowned. "Fine. I have no skeletons in my closet, if you like." Rarity told them, with a flick of her hair and crossing her hooves. "Rarity, Truth or Dare?" Pinkie asked, while trying to hold back a sly grin. Rarity tapped her chin with a hoof, pretending to ponder. "Truth." Pinkies grin was sufficed and replaced with a frown. She sighed and thought about it, finally asking the question. "Have you ever clopped?" She asked, Rainbow Dash snorting with laughter. "Of course I have, I don't dare lie to my best friends." She said, making Twilights cheeks turn pink. "Mhm...alright." Pinkie said. "Applejack, truth or dare?" Rarity asked the creamy orange pony. "Dare." She said, Rarity sporting a large grin. "I dare you to lick Rainbow Dash on the lips." Applejack rolled her eyes and walked over to Rainbow. Rainbow gave her a wink, making Applejack giggle. Applejack stuck her tongue out, but Rarity her off. "Not those lips hon, the other lips." Applejack froze and Rainbow shrieked. "What!?" She screamed, as Twilight burst out laughing. "Oh no..." Fluttershy murmured, her face Crimson as she hid behind her hair. "A-Alright, just let me get into...position," Rainbow said, her words stuttering. She laid on her back and spread her hind legs, revealing herself to her best friend. Applejack bent down and licked RD's loins, looking over at Pinkie who gave Applejack a look of jealousy and humor. Pinkie had to be jealous, Rainbow was her girlfriend after all. "I...can't...breathe" Twilight managed to say, her arms clutched around her stomach. "Alright, let's just forget that ever happened." Applejack said, walking with shame back to her sleeping bag and sitting back down. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter two //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter two By the end of the night, three ponies had kissed, blind makeovers were done and failed miserably, but all was well. It was fun, and Twilight really did need something to do. "Night y'all," Applejack said, blowing out the lantern they had set up to tell scary stories. "Goodnight." "Nighty nighty!" "Night, Applehick," Applejack threw her pillow at Rainbow, while Pinkie snorted with laughter. "Goodnight darling," "Night," Fluttershy finished, her soft voice calming everypony  down. But Twilight couldn't sleep, no matter how hard she tried. She looked over at her clock. '11:46' the clock read, as she groaned, focusing on the clock ticking and closed her eyes. "You alright?" Applejack whispered,  poking Twilight with a hoof. "No," she responded after a while, her ears flattening. "Wanna talk about it in the bathroom?" "Yeah." They both got out of their sleeping bags quietly and padded over to the bathroom. Applejack closed the door as Twilight sat on the toilet, her head down. AJ slid down and sat against the door. "What's wrong?" She asked, giving a concerning look to her purple friend. Twilight pondered whether she should tell her or not. "I'm in love with Rarity," She said, a snort coming out of Applejack. "I know, sugarcube. It's obvious when ya keep starin' at 'er like that." She told Twilight. Twi considered this and her cheeks flushed a pink. "It's alright. You should tell her, she's a filly fooler ya know. And she might, possibly have a tiny crush on ya as well." Twilight's ears perked up and her heart was beating fast. She's a filly fooler and she has a crush on Twilight? "How do you know that?" She asked her friend, narrowing her eyes. "Uh...well, we - um, we dated for a short time. We broke up because she lost interest in me and began to love you instead," Applejack told her friend, looking to the side. Twilight smirked. "I knew it, you two were always close to each other whenever you were near," Applejack chuckled. They sat in silence for a few moments before they heard shuffling, and then there was a knock on the door. "Who's in there, and why the hell are they blocking the door?'' A familiar posh accent said, irritation in her voice. Twilight blanched and Applejack snickered. "How convenient," Applejack said, moving from the door and letting the pony in. Rarity looked irritated.  "I have to pee, so leave." She said, flipping her hair behind her head. The two left and Applejack winked, leaving Twilight alone to go back to her sleeping bag. "Wait, no!" Twilight hissed, but AJ was already gone. After moments of silence and a toilet flushing, Twilight said, "Rare? Can I come in when you're done?" And the door opening in response. She walked in and sat down. "Yes?" Rarity said, raising an eyebrow. "I need to tell you something," She said quietly, looking at the beautiful white unicorn. "What is it?" She asked curiously. Twilight stood up. "I-I," Twilight resisted. What if Applejack is playing a joke? "I love you," She said, scuffing her hoof on the floor awkwardly. "That's all? I love you too, Twilight," Rarity said back. "No, I-" Twilight said, her voice shaking and tears welling up in her eyes. "Wait, do you-" Rarity said, her eyes widening in realization. They sat in silence, a tear falling down Twilight's cheek and plipping on the floor. "Sweetie, don't cry, please," Rarity said, walking over to her purple friend and wiping her tear with a hoof. "Please." Twilight sniffed. Rarity looked in Twilight's eyes, concern and sadness in her deep blue eyes. "You're my best friend and I don't want to see you ever cry. You're beautiful, Twilight. I love you too much to see you sad," Rarity told the lavender pony to put her at ease. "R-really?" Twilight said, wiping her face with a hoof. Rarity nodded, and kissed Twilight. Twilight was caught by surprise and jumped, kissing back. It's happening! Finally, it's happening! She melted into the kiss, resting her hoof on Rarity's face. They pulled away, panting softly. "We should go back," Rarity said after a few moments of awkward silence. They headed out of the bathroom and shut the lights off, Rarity's cheeks clearly bright red. They laid down on their beds and slowly fell asleep. When the ponies awoke it was about 11 a.m. Twilight, who was awake last of all, immediately smelled burning eggs and toast. "No, Pinkie! You can't put the butter on top of the eggs! You're a baker, shouldn't you know this stuff?" She heard Rainbow say, hearing Applejack giggle slightly after. Twilight rubbed her eyes with her front hooves and stood up, going to her vanity and brushing her hair quickly. Her eyes glanced over to the calendar above her mirror, and groaned. "What was that?" She heard Rarity say, her ears perking up at the sound of her loves voice. "Was that her?" She heard Pinkie say a few moments after, hooves shuffling around in panic. Seconds later, Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow and Fluttershy showed up with a large purple cake decorated with sparklers, Pinkie carrying a large birthday breakfast, including eggs, pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream, and bacon. Twilight surpressed a grin and walked to her friends, hugging them all. "Thank you guys, seriously," Twilight smiled at her friends and they all smiled back. Rarity grinned at Twilight specifically, nodding her head at the lavender pony. Twilight blushed and used her magic to carry five other forks to the table. She shared with her friends and
