"Somebody, anybody?!", I shouted from the top of my lungs, hoping someone would here my frantic cries for help. They seemed to do no good whatsoever. The heavy snow was blocking my view, making it very difficult to see anything. It was completely silent, except for my hooves softly pressing into the cold, thick layer of snow, and the sound of heavy snowfall. It was too cold for anyone to be out here. Especially at this time of night. I didn't know exactly how cold it was, but it was enough to make me shiver, under my soaked fur, dragging me down with each step I trotted. With every step I took, I felt that I was getting weaker, no matter how much power I thought I had. Eventually, I fell down into the snow, right onto my side. I felt my legs locking up, and trying to move them hurt horribly. My eyelids were drooping down slowly, but I forced them to stay open, panning them around to look for any help that may have arrived. However, I was in no such luck. Inside my head, I was doing two things; pondering how long I had left, and wondering if my boyfriend was searching for me or not. I felt as if he was, but there was no way that I could determine it for sure. After what had seemed like forever, I finally gave up and let my eyes close, accepting the fate that I had mindlessly gotten myself into.

Soon after, my eyes snapped open, and when they did, all I could see was the back of somepony's head, staring into the heart of the snowstorm. As the familiar looking pony slowly trotted through the snow, my eyes closed back, except this time, I didn't fall asleep. I felt no pain, no coldness, no snow hitting my back, nothing. Nothing except the slow bobbing of the pony carrying me through the thick snow. A little bit later, I felt a rush of heat hit my freezing body, and I heard the sound of a door latch shut. I was picked up and set next to what sounded like a fireplace. I was much too tired to open my eyelids to see what was going on. Inside of the building, no voices could be heard, no sounds at all, except for the fire roaring beside me. I was tired, and wanted to sleep; but right before I blacked out, I felt a blanket being tossed over me, as well as it being gently wrapped around my cold body. I finally drifted off into sleep, my body slowly warming the deeper I slept. I had only ended up sleeping for a few hours, but it still felt like an eternity to me. Eventually, I woke up, my eyes slowly creaking open after the cold night. Little did I know that it was not morning. It was only around 12:00am. I stretched my limbs out, gladly being able to finally feel them again. I rolled over onto my back, my hooves wiggling slowly in the air as I stretched. I rolled back over onto my hooves again, sitting on them ever so perkily. I slowly tried to stand up, wobbling when I put any pressure on my legs.

After I finally gained some stability, I tried to grasp the feeling of the surrounding area that I was in. It was a cozy looking home, with string lights dangling from one end of the room to the other. It had an upstairs portion as well, where string lights were also bound to. Up there, it seemed to have a bed, as well as a wide variety of pillows scattered among the floor. I had no idea whose house I was in, and to be honest, I was a bit scared to find out. Despite the fact that I was in a house that I didn't even know, I was still warm. I trotted upstairs, around the pile of pillows that were there. I worked my way through them so I could get to the window to see how bad the storm had gotten. It seemed that it had picked up a bit, but there was a small path leading to the doorway of the house that had seemed to have been manually dug out. I realized that every time that I wanted to see Cloppy, my lover, he had always said that he wanted to come to my place instead of his because he said "What type of guy am I to make the one that I love travel for me?". Although I wasn't unable to travel there myself, I let him come over to my place, because every time that I had asked to go to his house, he always said "I can't let you in there until I finish your surprise". So this very well could've been his place. Shortly after my realizations, I saw a pony walking toward the door with a hoodie on, right down the trail that I had noticed before. I quickly went back downstairs and layed back down into the spot that I was first placed in. I wasn't going to act like I was asleep, because I would have to find out who it was eventually.
