She Saw the Sunlight at the End of the Tunnel

"OH. FUCK. NO." I said.

I snatched his wrist and broke it. I kicked the gun away. I flipped him in front of me, my rage filling my body. I rushed to my room while he was groggy to retrieve my swords. I got back to find a knocked out Pinkimena, complete with butterfly knife, a collapsed Rainbow Dash, equipped with a black eye and bloody nose, and a cornered Sunset Shimmer.

I felt the change starting. I felt it engulf me. It had been to long since i felt her power course through my veins. The horns grew against my will, not that i would have stopped them. The wings grew from my back gently and quickly. I raised from the ground about a foot. My hands were engulfed by my signature black, with silver trim, flames.

I used my energy to snatch him back. I slammed him into the wall. As he tried to get up, i flung a sword at him. The blade embedded itself into his shoulder, forcing him to the wall. He was pinned.

"YoU dOnE gOoFeD, BITCH! YOU ATTACKED MY FRIENDS AND TRIED TO KILL ME! NOW BEFORE I DESTROY YOU, WHY?!" Nightmare Lotus said. (she and i are one, but i tend to treat her seperate beings for sake of things like was it said insanely or not.)

He removed the sword and ran me through with it.

" because your heart is the final ingredient needed for me to bring them back!" he said with tears in his eyes.

I punched him in the mouth. He slammed into the wall. I removed the sword and shoved it into his heart, using the other one to keep him there. I eyed his necklace. In Equestria, it would have been his horn. I used the sword that was in my hand to tap it.

"YOU. FUCKED. UP. I'M TAKING THIS NECKLACE AND REALIGNING IT'S MAGIC TO TWILIGHT. I HAVE FOUGHT ZOMBIES, WORMS, CATS STRONGER THAN YOU! I. HATE. YOU." Nightmare Lotus hissed. I slit his throat and snatched off the necklace in the same motion. Before Nightmare Lotus left me, i used her to attach the magic tendrils to Twilight.

I fell to the ground and passed out.

I woke up later in my coffin. Pinkie was pinkie again, but her eye was locked on her butterfly knife with disappointment. Rainbow Dash was holding a steak to her eye, smiling at me. Sunset was crying over twilight's body, which had been moved to my room while i was passed out.

"Glad to see you awake. Thanks for saving our asses, Lotus. I- i think rarity would let you date her sister after this." Rainbow Dash said.

"H- how did you know about...?" i stumbled over my words.

She blushed and replied, " you... Uh... You talk in your sleep. Like... A lot. Most of which was about sweetie belle."

"Yeah! It was super duper sweet!" pinkie added.

"I... Should not have gotten my hopes up..." Sunset piped up.

"What was that, sunset?" i asked her.

"I found your uncle's codex. It... It said that it needed your heart. The spell we were about to do. Without you dead, i will never see her again. I... I can't ask that of you."

"I know another way or two to bring her back. But i'll need to discuss it with you in private."

The other two left the room at that cue.

"Here are the ways we can do it" i started.
